I thought that caring Doctors were a thing of the past. To my surprise, Ballentyne is a real life, miracle.Dr.Wynn Treated mind, soul and spirit. He’s such a caring, compassionate person, Who talks to you not down to you.I highly recommend this practice! And I’ve never left a review like this before! That is how much this doctor means to me, And his staff and his nurses are phenomenal!Thank you, Dr. Wynn for everything you do for your patience and for me.

Dr Wynn is a God-send for me! Hes respectful of my wishes to help manage my health. He has applied himself to learn about natural hormone compounds, which have strengthened my body for years, and also have helped my bodys own youthfulness, as a woman, post menopause. When I was in need of LDN, he was also licensed to prescribe that for me. He never makes me feel rushed when he comes in the room but gives me time to express my concerns and thoughts. He also cares about proper diet and nutrition. He doesnt seem to push it but when Ive wanted his input on that, he was very helpful!! Its no wonder Dr Wynn is booked solid... hes a doctor worth waiting for! He also smiles and shows humor and is interested in the person. Thank you, Doctor Wynn!

Dr Wynn, and his team of Pas and doctors go above and beyond to help resolve any and every medical condition Ive shown I was concerned about. They have a time that is constantly going out of there way to help others. You couldnt ask got a better team then the ones working at Amity Medical Center. They have even partnered with a pharmacy group in Charlotte called avant pharmacy. They have a cash prices on the more expensive items to help its clients be able to afford there meds.TY Dr Wynn and ty for hiring and keeping such an amazing team!

Dr. Jason Hardin always take time with me never rushing me out He listens to my concerns about my health. Dr. Hardin always give me good advice and understands that I Im unable to do things because of my fibromygia and diabetes as well for my knee pain and depression. Its hard to find health care sometimes to see your pain. Thank you Dr. Hardin for trying to help me with my disabilities concerning my health forever grateful to you and staff.

I will never go anywhere else. My practitioner Jason Hardin is more than my medical provider, he’s my therapist, my andvocate and always makes time for me. All the staff are great from the nurses to the receptionist, even the security guards are friendly. I’ve had great experiences with the doctors at both Harris and Park Row.

I’ve been on medically assisted treatment for heroin/opiate addiction for just over two years now, and had to switch doctors. Yesterday was my initial visit to amity medical at the Harris location and must admit, I was pretty impressed. The process of switching doctors was made seamless, the desk staff and nursing staff were supportive and easy going. Dr. Manos was very nice and easy to speak to. I’m excited to see what the future holds for me on my road to recovery. I would absolutely recommend their services to anyone in need.

There are so many professionals out there who can provide the service but lacks the skills to give you, the patient that confidence that they care and you are not just a number. I recently visited Amity Medical Group at their Harris Boulevard location in Charlotte, North Carolina and it was ok. The best form of communication with this facility is electronically through their portal service. Phone calls are a waste of time as they are often not answered or you are put on hold for an extended period.I found that Amity Medical Group ranks with most other medical facilities in the area where they are trying to cram in as many people as they can in one day, which often results in rushed appointments and missed details.Overall, my experience at Amity Medical Group was just average. I hope to see improvements in the future, as I believe that every patient deserves individualized and thorough care.

The staff at Amity Medical Clinic are awesome!!! They know you by name!! They treat you like a human being!!! They are some of the nicest people you will ever meet!! I recommend them all of the time to anyone....in person and on social media!!!

Started going here as a new patient for a normal check up as it’s close to my house. Got charged $240 to see a nurse practitioner for a normal new in-patient visit with no tests or anything done. Got charged this much for a 10 minute conversation asking me questions that I already filled out on an online form. Absolutely ridiculous to pull that number out of thin air. Tried to call the billing department on 3 separate occasions to discuss this only to be re-routed to an off site call Center who are useless and can only take a message. Never received a call back with regards to this matter. My insurance is supposed to cover 100% two check ups a year. Never had this issue with my last practise and they used to take blood work without charging me a dime. Can’t imagine what they would charge for an actual procedure.

This was my first time visiting the Harris Blvd location; however right off gate they made me feel welcomed & comfortable. Not to mention, I was a few minutes early, but, they immediately took me rather than having me wait until the exact time of my appointment. Everyone there was super friendly, warm & ensured that I was leaving with no questions unanswered. AMG as a whole; is an amazing establishment. I truly appreciate them and all that they do.

Update 08/24/2023: Entering the newly renovated building in WT Harris was a very pleasant surprise. The new, upgraded facility is beautiful, and the access to both Amity and Avant Pharmacy has improved significantly.I was taken back to see Jason Hardin, my PCP, on time (which is not unusually the case at my other, specialty clinics!), and Jason was in the exam room within a few minutes of my appointment time. Having my time valued by any medical office is a huge plus, because at most other places I go (due to multiple chronic illnesses) I typically have to plan for my visit to last much longer than expected. Having said that, I’ve almost never had to wait on Jason. He obviously works as hard as possible to stay on time, yet I have never felt like I didn’t have his undivided attention. I had a couple of questions about my vaccination history and potential updates, and he was able to answer them immediately and put things in place to get the necessary updates at the recommended time of mid-September.I don’t want to imagine ever having to see anyone else!2021 Review:I walked in the door, and having checked in previously via the Amity portal, I only needed to update a couple of documents for 2021. In less than 2-3 minutes I was called back by the nurse, got my vitals and medicine review done, then was immediately seen by my PCP, Jason Hardin, NP. We quickly reviewed the follow up labs I needed, briefly discussed a new issue, went to the lab, and within a few minutes, voila! I was finished. I so very much appreciate that Jason never makes me wait, and when I’m in the exam room with him, I feel like I have his complete and total attention. I feel respected and yet never feel rushed.I have had plenty of experience with many other doctors offices, and have come to expect a long wait time coupled with a rushed appointment. Not my experience with Amity at all!

My first visit there was just spectacular! My mother and I received a warm welcome from the medical staff and from the provider PA Wesley Thompson. We felt like we became part of the family and I definitely feel that I am in great hands. All of our questions were answered, leaving the office educated, with great reading material as well as samples of medication! Amity Medical Group is truly a hidden gem and an answer to our prayers! I have been a patient for 6 almost 7 years. They have helped me through the hardest time in my life, cancer, depression, etc and one of the reasons I am now cancer free! They actually care!! Thanks y’all you will forever be in my heart!

I can tell that from the beginning as soon as you walk through the door the staff was very kind, professional but most of all very helpful. The Dr’s Assistant , from whom I have forgot her name started the initial interview, showed so much empathy and kindness. And the big price was, to be served by Jason Hardin NP. I felt he was really concern about my health, encouraging me to take good care of myself, explaining the importance of having a healthy lifestyle. He made me feel as very important patient like if I knew him all my life. For sure I can say he’s very professional after all I mentioned. I think every single person who visit that office will experience the same feeling that I did.

I move here from NJ 6 years ago. I had been to 2 primary care doctors before I found Dr Wynn and Mandy. There are no words that can explain how happy I am to have found them!!!! Wonderful office staff and having worked in a doctors office for 20 years I know how frustrating it can be. They are always professional and willing to go the extra mile. To have a doctors that actually listens, takes their time and seems to care is a rare thing to find these days. Couldnt be happier!!!Ive been with this group for 7 years now. Whenever I have to go to the doctor at Amity Medical Group, I am ALWAYS treated with kindness and empathy for whatever Im going through! This includes the front desk staff to the doctor. My primary doctor, Dr. Wynn, not only addresses what my issue is that day but shows concern for my overall health. For example, he asks how are things going at work and home. I am so pleased with this medical team, that I referred my father for his medical needs. All the providers at this office are great!!!!

Easy to schedule appointments with their courteous staff at reception, my appointments have always been on time and without delays, and my experiences with their nurses, NAs, and providers have always been thorough. I’ve never felt rushed or like I wasn’t a priority with anyone here. Follow up appointments are easy to schedule as well. Oh and the on site pharmacy at their Harris Blvd location has insanely low prices on tons of Rx.

Amity Medical is an awesome place to go for medical needs. The staff is friendly. The wait time is short and they dont make you feel rushed. Each visit they want to know about your overall well-being including your mental health. The staff makes each visit enjoyable... And I hated going to the Dr before I started seeing Mandy and Dr. Wynn. Now, the experience is not so stressful.

Not to gush, but I love being a patient at Amity Medical. Between Wes and Jason, and all the incredible staff, I am always treated with kindness and respect, my concerns are always heard and acknowledged, and I feel like I am a partner in my health care rather than just a number which is how most medical practices make me feel. I have brought my daughter and son in law to the practice as patients and theyre both exceptionally happy. True to its name, Amity is a family practice. Theres really nowhere else Id be comfortable allowing my children to go. Thanks to the whole team for being continuously exceptional practitioners, even in the face of a pandemic.

Ive been to many doctors over the years, due to moving and having auto immune and mental health disorders which require closer medical supervision and care. Unfortunately over this span of time I have experienced various forms of discrimination, neglect, mistreatment and malpractice by medical professionals due to unfortunate stigma surrounding the disorders I have. (which is very sad to think about, as we as a society want to trust our doctors to be nonjudgmental figures.) Due to this experience, I had become very mistrusting of doctors.I have seen several doctors in the office, as they work as a collective. This is the first general practitioner office I have ever been to that has fully earned my trust. They are understandably cautious about my mental health issues, but do not use that as an excuse to patronize or demean me. They respect my understanding of medical terminology and information, and do not act personally insulted if I suggest a diagnosis. (and rather, if Im wrong, explain to me the reasons why in a manner that can be understood, but isnt completely dumbed down.)They are endlessly patient with my questions, of which I often have many, no matter how simple or complex they may be. They believe me when I say a medication is not working for me, and I would like to try something else.I was only staying temporarily in NC when I moved here last year. After I found this place, my partner and I decided to move here permanently specifically for this clinic due to my personal high need of consistent high quality medical care.Hopefully this review is helpful.

Welsy Thompson PA worked with me since 2015. This year I had a spot on my foot which not once did he ever ask to look at my feet which is important because Im Diabetic. Well after complaining for 2 months I had to go to the emergency room because my foot was swollen. On April 24th they had to amputate my pinky toe.so I started going to Wendy which I love! The only problem is for the last two weeks calling, texting, and leaving messages they finally have a call back on the day after my second which was this past Monday. All they care about is getting people in there and taking there money.

Very rude man at the front desk. Im brand new to Charlotte and got sick. Showed up to see a doctor and the man says well here you need to be a patient and an appointment. Not Im sorry your not feeling well. Not lets make you a patient so we can help you feel better, nooo nothing like that. Just we cant see you because you arent a patient here and you dont have an appointment. I hate when people with no customer care skills works in a customer centered profession.

Being new the Charlotte area and having gone to another doctor office which was lousy, I came to Amity Health and I must say I’m so impressed but all the staff especially J. Hardin!!! He took his time with me , asked important questions , very pleasant, he really cared. I made the right choice!!

I tried to stop taking my pain medicine on my own and was having severe problems. I called and got a same day appointment with Mandy. She walked me through what needed to be done and prescribed me some medication. She was very understanding and professional. I am grateful she had the time for me.

The service is excellent, and the staff is very friendly at all times, they are attentive to all doubts, and the best thing is that most of the staff is bilingual 10/10

I’ve been seeing jason for a few years, and i’ve never felt so comfortable with a doctor. he’s great at what he does, and i hope to have him as my provider for many more years.the nurse assistants are just as welcoming and the front staff, it’s great to find a place you can walk in and not feel judged.

Truly one of the best doctor offices I been to. I have been going for years and Jason has been truly the best doctor I ever had!

I also had the experience of not being able to get a hold of a live person over the phone. I called, no one was available, so it went to voice mail. I left a detailed voice mail message following the instructions on the voice mail greeting precisely, and after a week, still no return call. Their office must either be understaffed or the staff is disorganized.Response to owner: I’m not a patient. I called to attempt to become a patient. But others take note of the defensive tone of this response rather than being apologetic.

I have been trying to contact the EWT office Harris for more than a month, it has not been possible, 4 days ago someone answered my phone, took my information and told me that they were going to call me, they never did.

Mr.Thompson Physician is my PCP & simply the best physician PCP I have finally found.I have PCP hopped from Physician to Physician with poor results. The previous physicians I had were uncaring of the medical perspective or I will say they were negligent.This PCP Mr. Thompson-Physician hasn’t missed a medical problem & has made no mistakes.

This has got to be the worst doctors office experience I’ve had. The real problem is that it wasn’t just one experience! It’s EVERY time I have to deal with them. SERIOUSLY, call their number right now and see if you can even get them to answer. Not kidding, just try it.Ive been there 3-4 times and only one time did I leave feeling like I had received actual care. My wife, having been multiple times, says the same thing. Find another doctors office.

I have been going to see Wes when he opened this place it was called Ballantyne now its Amity Medical Group everybody in this whole place is fantastic I dont feel nervous you know even if I have to have blood drawn and when I do get blood drawn it does not hurt at all this is the only place I feel comfortable and I can share exactly whats going on and believe me if youre just there for specialty treatment or just for a family medicine this is the place to go the best care possible and its all Under One Roof x-rays everything thank you

Worst doctors office ever! They send bills 6 months after visiting and recharges bills even after it has been paid in the past. Last visit to this doctor was in November and they charged saying we went in January when we did not. Please do not go here. Find a different doctors office. They’re a scam.
