I initially thought the appointment was simple, it was private and the receptionist was kind. Once i went to the back i spoke to a volunteer who asked me a couple questions. I wasnt aware that this building was religious, I am catholic and felt judged for not being christian as well as being okay with abortion. They kept saying that a child should not be disposed of and how they are ripped apart during this process. As well as a child is a blessing. I understand this view but it sometimes isn’t an option for some people. Another thing, they compared abortion to suicide and how suicide is a permanent solution to a small problem just like abortion. All of which is something opinionated and shouldn’t be talked about while a woman is going through something so intimate. Once giving me my results she immediately began asking me if I believed in god and what I believed in. This is very inappropriate and made me feel uncomfortable.

Lovely establishment. The people are wonderful and kind. They provide a lot of resources if thats something you need. They offer a free pregnancy test and after 8 wks they will give you a free ultrasound to make sure things are progressing well for you and your baby. Wonderful people and the place was clean. They even give you a little care pkg when you are pregnant. I would recommend this clinic to anyone trying to off to a good start on their journey to parenthood.

The first time I went to sound choices it was an amazing experience. They were very helpful by explaining next steps in my pregnancy and the nurse who did my ultrasound was amazing, she even called to check up on me. However, this time around it wasn’t any help. It’s ironic since I need more help this time around. The nurse I had this time, Karen, was sort of dismissive and didn’t offer any help. They also are super religious so, even though those aren’t my beliefs, I listened to what they had to say, for really no reason. Really a waist of time this time around. I wish I could remember the name of the nurse I had the first time and that I would’ve had her.

Is this the same agency that was involved with misrepresenting babies as healthy when they really had severe birth defects? They were involved in a damn near Rico case in 1996?!If it’s not the same organization then why was the last one an adoption agency and this one is dealing with pregnancy?! It’s weird. Be careful, and do your research before coming here!

Ive been to see the Ladies at Sound Choices twice. First time was about 4 years ago and then again about two months ago. Both times was an amazing experience because the ladies there are so caring and loving. Ive been to some places in general where the nurses just want you in and out as quickly as possible but they actually take the time to care for the person. I really appreciated that because I had been so nervous walking in at my first visit with them. They felt like family the way they talked to me which was comfort because my mother doesnt live in the same town. I really appreciate what they do and how they do it. Though we didnt need it they even told us about the classes and clothing bank they had in order to help if we needed it. They are amazing ladies!

Horrible place. They trick women into coming and then force them to watch anti-choice, religious propaganda. They influence vulnerable women to give their babies to the private adoption agencies they work with. Vile people.Update: I’ve received a response from the owner. As someone who PERSONALLY visited this place, I am disgusted to see that they would lie about what they do. If you go for yourself, you can see, but I would recommend staying FAR AWAY from these misogynistic bigots.

This is a good clinic with good people. They offer free testing and free ultrasounds. I am a religious person but i dont agree with how they sort of force religion on you. I feel like they should offer it as an option but not come straight at you with it. Some people arent comfortable with that approach. Other than that no complaints. And the classes they have are pretty good as well

I would give this free pregnancy clinic a 4-5 star rating but there were some things I disagreed with. Yes they are convenient and free for those who are looking for a second opinion or to verify youre pregnant(for paperwork: medicaid , and assistance etc.). They are very friendly but do know that they are a pro-life clinic which is against abortion. I came here to verify that I am pregnant and to get documentation so I can start my paper work for insurance. While I was at the clinic the first step is counseling and you are not allowed to bring anyone back with you while counseling. This step was expected since it is a free clinic but the thing is they force you to watch a awkward video on the choices of a unplanned pregnancy. The video talks about abortion the risks and why it shouldnt be a option. Then it goes in to being a parent or giving the child up for adoption. This video is about 20 mins long is kind of annoying . My initial thought is having a supportive counseling session not a video session following a lecture about religious matters. While I have a open mind I feel like they went wrong on forcing religion and stuff on you. Especially if this is your first pregnancy like mines. Some women are nervous, scared, confused etc. They dont need a lecture on anti- abortion and how religion is necessary now for your future family or it wont work out. I feel like this clinic should be more supportive and maybe hire a actual counselor or psychologist for the women that come to the clinic. It should be more of support aspect not a religious matter. Dont take me wrong I have nothing against religion but I feel like it this clinic needs to focus more on the womens needs of support and care. For those of you planning to go here dont let the counselors force your decision because you are the one who has to live it . If you need some actual counseling through out your pregnancy I would research free counselors on google or talk to a close friend, family any one that will support you through your pregnancy . Good luck and hope this info helps .

Nothing couldve prepared me for the visit that I had to this place. I had a couple people tell me not to go there for these very reasons, but they offer free pregnancy testing and free ultrasounds, and being 18 years old at the time, it sounded great. They DO offer free testing and ultrasounds. What they also offer: While you sit in the waiting room, youre forced to watch a never ending video on conception, which I guess is better than sitting with no TV in an awkward silence with the other people in the room. You fill out some paperwork, take the pregnancy test and they let you know the results. While youre waiting on the results, they make you watch another video about your choices which include parenthood and adoption...and then the subject of abortion comes up. They give you all of these incorrect facts and information that purposely misguides you into having the baby. Things along the lines of Most women are never able to have children again after they have an abortion, or Youre going to be traumatized for the rest of your life, or Abortions are very very painful. After the video ends, a counselor comes in to ask if youre excited and try to discourage you in every way that they can if you are planning to have an abortion. They set you up with another appointment to come back and have your ultrasound. . You come back, you have the ultrasound, they tell you how far along you are and let you see the fetus on screen with your family/partner if you want. They print you out a cute little picture and tell you that youll need to make real pictures of it to keep forever...They give you a goody bag filled with all kinds of booklets about Gods will and why abortions are horrible and why youre going to go to hell and be physically and emotionally scarred and abortion providers are these EVIL people who only care about money. They give you little baby booties and a pen with a footprint on it that is supposed to be the size of a 10 week old fetuss footprint, which is purposely made to look bigger than it actually is and pray with you and try to force you into parenthood some more....Its very uncomfortable. Maybe for some people that would be okay but I was there for accurate MEDICAL information that could help me, not their religion forced down my throat and tons of WRONG information.Fast forward a couple of days...I start getting calls and texts from their number. I dont answer them because they cleared me of having an unhealthy pregnancy so Im not sure what more they would have to tell me. I block their number. They call from different numbers so I wouldnt recognize them, I answer and its them so I immediately hang up. Somehow, and I have ABSOLUTELY no idea how this happened, but you know how your phone company will text you from a random number, for example, something like 80898-0, to tell you that youre data has run out or something like that? They texted me from Verizon. All that was in the text was a number, so I called it thinking it was phone related and it was THEM!They also actively protest outside of the Columbus Womens Health clinic and try to get people that are going in and out of the clinic to come to the road and talk to them because theyre not allowed on the property.I suppose if youre very religious and wanting parenthood then this would be a good place to go, but other than that, do not do it. You would be better off just going to an Urgent Care clinic if you dont have any insurance or just going to an actual doctor if you do.
