I’ve been seeing Christina for about 6 weeks now and it’s been absolutely amazing! I’m going for fertility and in our short time together she has completely stopped my period cramps and made my periods completely manageable for me, before they were debilitating. I would give her 1,000 stars if I could! Extremely happy with her service and I’m excited to see how the fertility part goes!

I went to Magnolia for acupuncture treatment with Dr. Marisa. The moment I walked in I started to feel calm and serene. I was introduced to the space by Dr. Marisa. I booked my first lymphatic drainage massage ever a week ago with Jenna. She was extremely professional and informative. She listened to my health concerns and was interested in knowing why I was there. She explained the process and I could tell she’s passionate about her work. The massage was very relaxing. I wasn’t sure what to expect after but I went home and felt very tired. I started feeling a lot better two days after and even my coworkers told me I looked good. I had a 90 minute deep tissue massage with lymphatic drainage with Cristina and it was incredible. Cristina’s hands are magic and she creates a very comfortable atmosphere. She found all the points of tension and helped release them. I truly enjoyed both the deep tissue and lymphatic drainage portions of the massage and think they make a well balanced combo.As a mom and a birth doula, I spend a lot of time taking care of other people, which is both physically and emotionally demanding, so it felt especially wonderful to have someone take care of me. The office is peaceful and aesthetic, as well, which adds to the overall feeling of relaxation. Definitely recommend!

I had a lymphatic drainage massage with Jenna a few weeks ago. The light pressure was new to me and I honestly didn’t expect to get much out of it, but the next morning my shoulder/upper back tightness that had been plaguing me for months was miraculously 80% better and since then it has continued to improve. I thought I was going to be left with these issues forever so I’m really grateful I found her. Highly recommend if you are looking to heal issues that haven’t responded to regular massage.

Ive never experience such tranquil healing, and peace from an acupuncture session until I visited Magnolia Wellness. It has always been pretty sterile and stressful in other places. Dr. Angela has a special touch, and her space is a beautiful spa hidden in the center of the city - it is exactly what we all need for regaining our strength and health from our daily stressors. I also had a massage with Cristina Alvarado and it was beyond amazing. Coming from a massage connoisseur myself, this is really the best Ive had. I came out of there feeling rejuvenated. I highly recommend Jenna at Magnolia Wellness. Her specialty is therapeutic lymphatic massage and the treatment was relaxing and beneficial for detoxification. I like to go in at least once/month. She is intuitive, caring, knowledgeable & professional. The location is convenient and tranquil. I know they have an extensive menu of other services at Magnolia such as acupuncture, skin care, regular massage therapy and more, although so far I have only visited Jenna. Self care is vital and I believe a visit to Jenna will make a positive difference in your wellbeing.

I am currently 25 weeks pregnant with twins and these last 2 weeks I have been experiencing horrible sciatic nerve pain. During the day, there would be multiple times my leg would go out from the pain and by the dinner time I could barely walk. I never experienced anything like this in my other two pregnancies so I was pretty much at a loss for how to help the pain. I decided to book an acupuncture appointment to see if I could get any relief and OH MY GOSH the relief I’ve felt is truly astounding. I went from not even being able to walk or sleep comfortably to feeling no nerve pain whatsoever. I didn’t even think this was possible but I was willing to try anything to get some relief… and let me tell you, I am SO RELIEVED. Thank you Magnolia Wellness! Will definitely be adding this to my weekly routine until these twins are born!

Angela is amazing to work with! After receiving my lab work, she helped pin point exactly what my body was lacking and helped me get back on track. In 3 weeks I felt a huge difference. This was my first lymphatic treatment and Jenna was very thoughtful - a lot of time was spent during intake to ensure treatment would be tailored to my concerns, as well as afterwards to ensure that I understood home care + feedback on what she felt during the treatment - plus expectations on how I may feel post-treatment. The treatment itself was relaxing with a soft, rhythmical touch to stimulate the lymph + her cool, painless machine she used as a tool to prepare waste for easier detoxing. I will be back!

Upon arrival I was greeted warmly by Meriem and Angela. My therapist was Amanda. My treatment was a massage and lymphatic combo. She was very knowledgeable and professional. I recently had lymph nodes removed and have swelling. I felt much better after leaving and know that with continued treatments my lymphedema will remain under control. I would most definitely recommend Amanda/Magnolia Wellness OC to anyone for their self care needs.

After my first and only visit I felt like just a number. Maybe dr. Puente is green and not comfortable being on her own but she showed no curiosity in my symptoms, showed no empathy, and literally just read me back the questionnaire I filled out before my appointment. She did not talk to me during the insertion of needles and did not tell me anything after my visit like when I should come back in again or how soon I might be feeling better - there was no treatment plan. I had heard good things about this place but compared to two other clinics I have received accupuncture over the last 5 years, this place was just not it. It was difficult to find, I did not feel cared for, and I left with no desire to see that dr again as a care provider.

I first started seeing Anglea a couple years ago for extreme anxiety and insomnia. At the time it felt like she literally saved my life! Her compassion and kindness made me feel at peace and based on the relief that I have had from regular weekly acupuncture treatment (along with nutritional changes and herbs that she has recommended) I know first hand what a highly qualified acupuncturist she is.Becuase of the way she has helped (and listened) I have been able to heal my body and mind and I have no longer been debilitated by anxiety. I now have the confidence and energy to make changes in my life that have served me well.I always look forward to coming into seeing Angela- the new wellness center space (she has just moved into a much larger office) is GORGEOUS. It is clean and fresh and the place has some seriously good energy.

Ive been a patient of Angelas since 2010 and she has helped me with so many ailments from sciatic nerve pain to hormones to digestion, stress and overall wellness. Most importantly when Brandon had a Traumatic Brain Injury from an accident she was AMAZING and helped his healing exponentially. I have referred so many friends and family to her and they all thank me over and over for introducing them to her. Even people (like me) that are not a fan of needles are now obsessed with Acupuncture and Angela is the BEST in the business.

Just started my acupuncture treatments here and so far it’s been amazing! The staff is very sweet and professional. You really get a sense that they care about you.My therapies have been with Dr. Puente and she took a very thorough intake going over all my concerns. She was very gentle when it came to the needles and I appreciated her calming and reassuring energy.

I LOVE this office so much. Everyone is amazing and helpful and it’s such a calm, relaxing vibe there. Their services are top notch and all their employees are a wealth of knowledge! Angela could not be any sweeter or make it more comfortable either. I went in for chronic back pain and stiffness. They got me in to see Marissa for acupuncture so fast and sent me on my way with no pain and so relaxed! Going back for cupping soon and cannot wait! Highly recommend!

Christina Nguyen is amazing! She is my provider and I came in for carpal tunnel due to pregnancy. She worked with my right hand/wrist and it actually feels much more relaxed now! Magnolia Wellness is a healing sanctuary. I received the best care during my cupping and Accupuncture treatments.I came in for a deep, debilitating cough, not being able to lay on my back without coughing. After the cupping and while I had the needles in me, I took a 30 minute nap on the table. That was such a welcome relief. My symptoms began to improve the day after treatment- it really mobilized things for me.I look forward to returning to Magnolia to receive a massage.

Beautiful and relaxing office! I was able to take a nap during my acupuncture session which was really nice. Beds and rooms are very comforting... I went in for labor induction methods. Its only been a few hours so I cant say how effective it is but Im keeping my fingers crossed.

If you have ever considered acupuncture I would tell you to not think twice and 100% recommend Magnolia Wellness. I went to see Angela a year ago with little knowledge of acupuncture but with hope that she could help me.I had experienced a very personal loss and was grieving without knowing how to process my emotions all while maintaining a fast paced, high stress life, and I needed help. The moment I met her I felt a shift and broke down, she explained acupuncture to me, was fully present as I told her what I was going through, she was so incredibly kind, genuinely concerned and interested in helping me.I tend to lean heavily on western medicine but for once in my life I decided to let go and just trust the process. Once we started my first session I could feel energy flowing through me and out of me, almost like when you open an oven and can see the heat moving. Amazing lymphatic massage, it was my first one and really enjoyed it. Maria did a great job explaining everything and made me feel entirely better. Many people know Angela for her specialty in acupuncture. That is where my journey originally started with her. However, I have to leave this review in regards to her extensive fertility experience from knowing the right doctors for my specific case, her knowledge on what my medical records mean and what my body needs from there on my fertility journey. Even more important then her counsel she helped me listen to my intuition by asking me the right questions. She is available 24/7 and responds within hours of when I need guidance and support. Her passion for helping women get pregnant, her knowledge, her counsel on what treatments are available have been more than what I have gotten from the doctors. I really owe my peace throughout this journey to her. I am leaving this review for Angela as not just as an accupunturist but for her knowledge and guidance throughout this fertility journey. I don’t know where I would be without her. I mean it when I say she is more knowledgeable than my doctors and takes the time to find root issues and solve them she has also helped me ask the right questions with the doctors, so many times and so many doctors do a one size fits approach. Without her I would be with the same doctor that was not doing the right treatments for my body! Without Angela I don’t think I would have gotten pregnant back in March. Magnolia is the 3rd business I have been to for acupuncture over our 4 year fertility journey. The first was too expensive and the second only treated me for infertility, not for anything else going on in my body. From the moment I walked into Magnolia, over a year a half ago, I felt “home”. The treatments I have received during that time from Angela, Kelsey, Abby, and Alison have always been about what is going on with my body. They have never been simply based on infertility, even though that has always been part of the plan. We have worked on building and nourishing the blood in my body as well as making my body a more welcoming place for an embryo. The customer service is top notch...from calling on the phone, to walking in the door, to the private room treatment. I highly doubt you will find better acupuncture care in the SoCal area. I completely trust all of the women at Magnolia and feel blessed to have found such an incredible place that feels like family. I can’t recommend Magnolia enough.

Excellent massage and lymphatic drainage. I do wish the legs amd feet were part of the bodywork session however as it did not feel complete without the lower half being massaged as well. Truly a wonderful massage otherwise. Thank you

Angela is a goddess. Being a first timer to acupuncture, she made me feel so comfortable with the process and was attentive and easy to talk to. In the few sessions Ive had since she tailors each appointment to your exact need in that moment. I have been so pleasantly surprised each time! Such a cool environment and beyond relaxing. Love!

Dr. Tang is the reason I have a son. After seeing several different OB/gyns from LA to IE (with no solutions, false excuses, unnecessary drug or surgical recommendations, and unnecessary referrals for IVF), Dr. Tang is the ONLY fertility specialist whos ever run blood tests to see where my hormones levels were and correct them naturally. Even a perinatologist was shocked by how thorough her testing was, saying he himself has never run all these tests and ultimately there was nothing for him to do because she already did it. And not only is she knowledgeable about fertility, but acupuncture with her is like having little butterflies land on your skin. You barely notice there are needles involved at all. Add to that her peaceful demeanor and relaxing tone, and youll completely forget youre at the doctors... Its more like a Zen spa experience.So when Dr Tang said shes partnering with a new office, I said I go where Tang goes. My whole family and my sisters family has followed her over. Best part, we also do remote phone consults from anywhere. Love her... Hope she never retires.

Its become my number one priority to take care of my overall health with a holistic approach within the past few years. Luckily, I do not need to strictly consume many prescription medications at this point in my life, but I strongly believe in looking at the big picture of your health as a whole - mental, spiritual and physical. It was my first time going to Magnolia Wellness and I was warmly greeted by Kelsey whom I had scheduled an acupuncture appointment with. My energy mapping results were precise as I recently learned more about the yin and yang energy flowing through my body and what I needed to work on and heal. Kelsey was patient, calming, gentle in her method, and very informative. I work in healthcare and have been in a high stress environment since the pandemic started, so its been difficult to stay relaxed. I immediately felt at peace and rejuvenated during and after my appointment.The receptionist was extremely and informative, she also did not pressure me into making any decisions that I was not comfortable with at all, which is imperative for new customers. I purchased a package to continue coming back because after the last year it is vital to take care of your health *before* something drastic happens. Thank you ladies so much, I cannot wait to come back next week for acupuncture and cupping!

I have only attended a first visit, but so far I am incredibly impressed. The truth is, I feel like western medicine has failed me time and time again; the practitioners in that realm have forgotten how to listen to their patients.I wasn’t entirely sure what to expect with this visit, maybe something about herbs and maybe chakras (not that there is anything wrong with that! I did, after all, make the appointment.), but this turned out to be so much more. I saw Dr. Wills, and IMO she practices the way we’re taught to practice healthcare: she asks questions and she listens. In all of my experiences with traditional western medicine, it has felt as though no one has listened; I was left to I fend for myself blindly. Dr. Wills listens, and asks corresponding questions. Instead of thinking of the body as bunch of separate, isolated systems, she thinks if it as one interwoven system: when one thing is out of whack, so goes the rest. She appears to practice accordingly.I left the appointment with the hope that there is a path, albeit a long one, but having a possible path towards feeling like my best self is leaps and bounds beyond having no path at all! We have formed the start of a plan and I have my fingers crossed that this will continue to move in a forward direction. For what it’s worth, my first consult was two days ago and I’ve already raved to anyone who will listen. I’m pretty sure I already enlisted two more clients for Dr. Wills - people who have also been brushed aside by Western healthcare practitioners and who just want answers and guidance in starting down a path too optimize their health.Oh, also, Kristin at the front is the most joyful and pleasant ray of sunshine anyone could ask for on a Saturday morning!

Christina is a truly compassionate and caring wellness practitioner. Her ability to understand and treat go far beyond whatever I thought I needed. She’s incredible!

Angela is an incredibly effective practitioner and kind-hearted human being. She came to me as a referral a few years back. I was struggling with stress and severe anxiety at the time, so I called her to gather a little information about her and her practice before setting an appointment.The moment she answered the phone, I knew she was different than anyone Id ever come across in the medical field. She took the time to ask questions and seemed to genuinely care. When I met her in person, she was even more amazing than Id anticipated. In addition to being competent (I would walk out of there each time feeling like I was in a protected zen bubble for the entire next week), shes also gentle, compassionate and genuinely interested in your overall wellbeing. She takes time to check in with me before placing needles in every session. I cant recommend her highly enough.

I recieved the lymphnatic massage with Maria and it was everything I hoped it would be and more. I’m a mom of two toddlers and was feeling stagnant and depleted. Maria is very knowledgeable and answered all my questions. I immediatelty felt the effects of the massage and was so relaxed after. I highly recommend this treatment!
