Better Womens Care

Once My Favorite Doctor retired Dr. West I decided to stay and give the other Dr a shot. Dont get me wrong Dr.Caldwell is a decent Doctor. But her staff is something else. I was treated kinda horrible last week when I spoke with the so called assistant manager Tracy on the phone. My Dr. Explained to me that she would be calling me to set up my consultation to have my procedure done. Hell I waited all most three weeks I kept calling up there and was giving the run around. Every since Dr West retired these women attitude is something off the charts they didnt do that when he was there. When i called Tracy she act like I was bothering her the tone in her voice wasnt pleasant. I could have snap on her but for what am proudly to say I decided to leave this place and find another Black Doctor. I will not be disrespected. Goodbye am not press

Id like to share my unfortunate experience with Dr. Korial Atti publicly. During my labor, he displayed impatience and unprofessional behavior, responding rudely when I questioned the need for a c-section. He threatened to leave and have a resident handle the delivery if I didnt comply with his recommendation. Being in excruciating pain and feeling vulnerable, I reluctantly agreed, losing my trust in him completely. The last thing a women want to hear during labor with all the pain I was going through I had to stop and turn around to deal with him in addition to my pain, tears and suffering .The resulting c-section scar was high, bumpy, wide, and unsightly compared to the ones from my subsequent c-sections with different doctor, who stitched me more skilfully. I believe I could have had a natural birth, but he seemed in a hurry and unwilling to wait or may be c section is more profitable than natural labor ?. I want others to be aware that there are knowledgeable, kind, and compassionate doctors out there, and I dont recommend Dr. Korial Atti based on my experience.

Dr. Cardwell was referred by my Primary Care and is through, patient and listens to all of your concerns. She explains everything and is genuine. My only issue was waiting for results of a biopsy and having to come in, rather a phone call or viewing the results online. Other than that, I highly recommend Dr. Cardwell :)

Dr. Cardwell is truly a God-send. Ive been seeing her for almost 20 years and pray she never stops practicing; shes thorough and treats everyone as if they are her only patient. Everyone Ive referred have become lifelong patients. Love it here!!!!

Been a patient of Dr. Atty going on 20+ years--since I left college. He is one of the best OBGYNs. Very caring , patient and always thorough. I had a minor outpatient surgery and had a bad reaction to waking up from anaesthesia. He was was super and called me at home the next day to make sure I was still feeling okay. I would recommend him to any woman needing a OB-GYN.

STAY AWAY! These people DO NOT want customers! I wanted to change to the female physician, since on my first appointment I had to go with Dr. Atty due to an emergent situation. Called to schedule with Dr. Cardwell and was told they do not switch patients...wait what?? Im the member and I want to see the physician of my choosing. New Gyn for me. Office is rude anyway. Just wanted an African Americn female Dr and I heard great reviews about her. Guess I better find better sources!

Dr. Bruce West has been my doctor for over 15 years I lost 3 aunties the from ovarian cancer within three months I am a woman in my late fifties and I was concerned about ovarian cancer. I call to make appointment with Dr. Bruce West with no hesitation the staff made appointment for me the very next week for a examination. A week later ultrasound to test for ovarian cancer. I want to thank you Dr. Bruce West and the staff for taking my concerns into consideration. Thank God everything worked out in divine order.

Left after Dr. Stone butcher my pelvic and none of his co workers wanted to deal with what he messed up. Was even told by Dr. Atty he wasnt willing to make any $ off me. Later come to learn NO OBGYN will work with, investigate or even touch me behind all the scaring he left, just judgement and awkward looks once his name is found on my charts. Dr. Caldwell performed every surgery with him, so I must give her a proper shout out also. Now left with an ovary they cant find and chronic pelvic pain that no doctor knows how to treat.

I have been a patient of Dr. West via Referral for more than 7 years. The service since they have moves to the Better Womens Care Location has been horrible. First of all you can never get an appointment. They do not ever attempt to have evening or weekend appointments. For the last 3 years straight, every single time I have had an appointment. The Dr. has cancelled me - and made me reschedule. Which is a huge inconvenience- since I always have to take time off of work. In addition that last time- I was rescheduled by them- I forgot about the appointment - and they had the nerve to tell me I am going to be charged a cancellation fee.

Dr Berenholz is a truly great Gyn surgeon. saw 2 other physicians who were unable to help me. Dr Berenholz did a full work up in his office for my incontinence. The surgery took 15 minutes total. Im able to run , jump, sneeze and cough without losing urine! Total downtime from the office. 2 days!

Dr. Atty has the best bedside manner.He is genuine and caring.The staff has always been gentle and kind.Clean facility.And timely with Appts.

In 2017 I was seeing Dr Atty in this office after I had a bad experience with another Do !! Dr Atty was the best he fallow every thing from day one tell the delivery I did a c section it’s was amazing but he told me not to get pragmat any more because this was my 4th !!!

This office is wonderful, the doctor is great, listens to your concerns, and explains things thoroughly. The staff is kind and the wait is short.

Dr. Cardwell is a top notch doctor, very patient, very personable and very professional...she listens to your concerns and handles them accordingly

This office covered all of the Gyn/ OB services for my high risk Twins.... Excellent care by Dr. Stone and Dr. Cardwell.
