We was so Blessed we saw Dr Keenan 26 years ago. I had to do a tubal reversal that I had 10 yrs before. It was a blessing. After a very short time trying I was pregnant and I was 38. We didn’t know how long it would take or even if I would get pregnant. But we did just about 4 month after the surgery. We had a son that is 27 now.He’s a wonderful young man and now he is engaged to get married. We talk about Dr Keenan every once in while. How blessed we were to have had him as our dr.So kind and gentle man and a wonderful dr.Thank you for everyone in his office at the time. We feel very blessed.

I seen Dr. Keenan a year ago after going through years of fertility issues. He listened to me and my husband about the issues were having and what we went through with our previous fertility specialist (from a different practice). He even prayed with us when we asked. We love Dr. Keenan and hate to hear that he is leaving. Is he retiring or just going somewhere else?Brittanie Jarvis

My husband and I suffered with infertility issues for four years before being recommended by my OB/GYN to see Dr. Keenan. We ended up getting pregnant with quadruplets. Our quadruplets turned eighteen this year and we feel very BLESSED!To couples out there struggling with infertility issues dont lose hope and dont forget the power of prayer! We appreciate the knowledge of Science, but feel God gave us a baby for each year we tried! Keep the faith and use wonderful resources like these to fulfill your dreams of a family.

We had the privilege of being cared for by Dr Keenan and Nurse Lynda twice - with positive pregnancies both times! It was refreshing to work with a fertility specialist that did not pressure us to push beyond the level of treatment with which we were comfortable. We felt that Dr Keenan explained things thoroughly and took time to understand our family. Wait times for treatment and communication have improved significantly with the additional staff at the clinic in the past 2 years. Lynda is a gem! It was definitely worth travelling to Knoxville for us to receive care from a like-minded team.

Dr. Keenan is awesome! I honestly cant think of enough words to accurately describe him. He is very knowledgeable, professional, caring, and compassionate. I felt very at ease with him during my medical procedures. Thanks to Dr. Keenan’s expertise, our precious miracle baby is here! I highly recommend Dr. Keenan to anyone looking for a medical professional to help them achieve pregnancy.

My wife and I visited Dr. Keenan when we were having problems conceiving. He was awesome and introduced us to embryo adoption. We now have 3 kids that we love with all our heart. Without Dr Keenan and the grace of God, this would not have been possible.

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Keenan. This is more than just a medical practice-it is a family, and you are immediately part of it when you walk in the door. We had been treated as just a number with our previous fertility clinic and gotten no answers after over a year of treatment and thousands of dollars. Dr. Keenan gave me more information in the first thirty minutes of meeting him than I’d received elsewhere. Embryo adoption was for us and it was successful our first try, but I know even for the hardest of cases, he will pull out all of the stops. We are so thankful that Dr Keenan and the NEDC came into our lives.

My husband and I first saw Dr. Keenan after suffering 3 miscarriages in 3 years and not being successful with another fertility specialist in the area. Fortunately, we actually ended up conceiving on our own not long after we met Dr. Keenan without any intervention and had a son. We went on to have another miscarriage approximately 3 years after our son. My husband had a vasectomy after that because it was so emotionally draining and I was not sure I could go through that again. Well, time does tend to heal and when I was 39 we decided we wanted to try for another child. So, we made an appointment to see Dr. Keenan to see if it was possible and what our options would be. No testing was done on me at that time in spite of the fact that I was only a couple months away from turning 40 and with my history of multiple miscarriages. We were told that a vasectomy reversal would be our best option. So my husband had the surgery. About 3 months later we did get pregnant but again miscarried. Only at that time did he decide to perform additional lab work to see what might be the problem. We ended up having another miscarriage about a year later. There was never a plan recommended for what we should do next if we weren’t successful and how long we should give it before trying something else. We did IUI one time and that was only because I asked Dr. Keena to try it. Finally, we decided to seek help from another specialist after feeling like we weren’t being helped and didn’t matter. My last visit with Dr. Keenan was memorable and not in a good way. He basically walked out of the room after I asked a question and didn’t come back. He sent his nurse in to give us some information and sent us on our way. We went to another specialist in town to try IVF when I was 42, almost 43. We fortunately had 10 eggs retrieved, but only one embryo made it to day 5. And unfortunately that embryo was genetically abnormal. So now I am 43 and we basically have no options left to have a biological child. I’m sure Dr. Keenan has helped many people, but I never felt like he really cared about our situation. I feel like he wasted valuable time for us since we were in our early 40’s and not recommending IVF sooner. I can’t help but think that if we had done IVF 2 years earlier when we initially went back to ask his advice, that we would have been successful. Now we have spent thousands of dollars with no baby and no more chances.

Dr. Keenan and staff are awesome! Everyone was very friendly and addressed any and all questions my Husband and I had. After the first consultation he had a concise plan for us and immediately put it into action. 5 months later ...... We are pregnant. We can not recommend Dr Keenan enough. We would probably have given up if not for his help. Simply the BEST ....

The first time we met Dr. Keenan, I was so impressed with the time he took to get to know us - asking us thoughtful questions about our feelings and what we hoped for as a family. I had never been treated like that at a fertility clinic. We have two kids thanks to Dr. Keenans work.

We did embryo adoption, and I felt like I was in good hands with Dr Keenan. I had to have a dilation procedure before our second attempt, and I was grateful he provided me with enough pain medication. During the procedure he was gentle and quick. For both of our embryo transfers, he was kind, never rushed, and he has the utmost respect for these babies! If my sister decided to try embryo adoption, I would recommend her to him.

Dr Keenan is literally the best and has done wonders for us as a family. It’s amazing to see the Lord work through him. Thankful for all that he and his staff have done. If you are having trouble with infertility this is the place to go.

Dr. Keenan was recommended by my OBGYN and I’m so thankful! I had a tubal reversal done today and my husband and I were discussing how wonderful he was. He did a fantastic job and really cares about your desires and needs. HIGHLY recommend him! I’m over the moon to start this new journey!

I just want to say Dr Keenan was the best thing that ever happened to me and my husband. My daughter is now two and a half. If it wasn’t for him I would have given up on having children. Our journey with NEDC was incredible! Dr. Keenan made our dreams of having children come true after a decade of failed treatments elsewhere. Our family was blessed to have b/g twins from our first transfer. The whole process was so positive and affordable. We look forward to heading back for a sibling transfer soon!

Dr. Keenan was wonderful, very nice and really cares about the patients and placing a good home for the embryos. He was very knowledgeable and answered any questions we had. My initial consultation and mock trial went smoothly and he made us feel very comfortable.

I came to Dr. Keenan after seeing another fertility doctor for about 9 months with no results and not even truly understanding the plan. At the first appt, I sat down with Dr. Keenan and Ciera and was given a thorough consult appt. We had a plan of action and it was the first time I felt comfortable. After 2 IUIs I am now 6 weeks pregnant! We had our first ultrasound a couple days ago and everything looked great!Thank you so much Dr. Keenan and Ciera!I cannot recommend them enough. If you’re like me, and want a plan of action this is the place to go!

Dr Keenan has a very special place in our hearts! After TEN YEARS of trying for a family he was instrumental on us achieving that! We now have a happy healthy 6 month old + life will never, ever be the same!!! So grateful God put Dr K in our families story!!

Dr. Keenan (or whoever you see) will create a personalized plan for you - he’s not going to do something just because it worked for someone else, but because he believes it is the best for your specific needs. I appreciated the staff’s compassion, relatability, and professionalism.I was strongly recommended to consider having a hysterectomy at a young age because of my advanced endometriosis at a different clinic, and came to Dr. Keenan for a second opinion at the referral of a friend. I am so glad I did - my endometriosis has been much more manageable, and I’m currently two months pregnant, which I wasn’t sure would ever happen.Thank you!

Dr. Keenan is an excellent fertility specialist. He is straight forward about everything. The staff that work for him are excellent as well. Dr. Keenan was thorough compared to my previous experience with a different fertility specialist.

We saw him years ago and maybe he has changed but the experience with him was terrible enough that it was and still is unforgettable. He cared more about a surgery and IVF vs my mental and physical well being. We were scheduled for surgery and as we were approaching the surgery date, we get a call from our ob/gyn saying we had a positive pregnancy test and my levels were low. We were excited despite the low levels. We shared the information with Dr. Keenan expecting to postpone the surgery and see what happens with this positive pregnancy test. My husband and I both were very shocked to hear that he still wanted to do the surgery. He said in so many words, this pregnancy wasn’t gonna work out so let’s do the surgery anyway. He was so callous in his response. We could not understand why a doctor would want to perform a surgery on me without at least giving my body a chance to see if this could be viable. What would waiting a few more days or weeks hurt? And at every appointment he just kept pushing IVF. Long story short we ended up canceling the surgery. Unfortunately we did miscarry but do NOT for one minute regret walking away from Dr. Keenan. We ended up meeting with another fertility doctor who wanted to explore all possible causes of our infertility before discussing IVF. With this doctor we were able to conceive on our own with no fertility drugs or IVF. Now we have three wonderful boys.

Dr Keenan and his NP got me pregnant within 2 months the first time. It was a boy! He’s 2.5 now and the light of our lives. His nurse Mary was so sweet. I know I didn’t listen all of the time and I bugged the mess out of them but they’ve always been nice. I pushed for things like taking progesterone longer and they always listened to my concerns about my body. We’ve gone back and forth about having another one and sadly we have moved out of the state. I can only hope I can find another RE as great for the next baby!

Dr Keenan is amazing! Love his work at the NEDC. Very professional and extremely kind. He made me feel 100% relaxed in every interaction. So thankful for all he did for our family.

Dr. Keenan himself is a wonderful and personable doctor, however the majority of staff minus the nice ladies up front and a few nurses are rude and rarely get back in touch with you. After unsuccessful IUI’s my husband and I decided to move forward with IVF. A month before IVF was to start they dropped our insurance, United Healthcare, and told us we could pay out of pocket. Now i am without a fertility doctor again and my dreams of having another child is on hold. Save yourself some time and go somewhere else. Try and find a clinic that cares more about the patient and less about chasing the all mighty dollar.

Besides him being very judgmental. He wouldn’t help me or my S/O because we weren’t married. I’m all for standing up what you believe in, but going through IVF already isn’t an easy process and there’s ways to go about things without making the patient feel judged, he looked down upon us when we were already going through a lot with infertility. FYI god loves everyone, and for this doctor to feel so high and mighty to judge my situation was the most distasteful thing I’ve ever experienced. Wouldn’t recommend!!!!! STAY AWAY, UNLESS YOU IMMEDIATELY WANT TO BE JUDGED AND LOOKED DOWN UPON. ZERO STARS IF I COULD!

My husband and I cannot say enough nice things about Dr Keenan and his staff. The Lord blessed us with three beautiful daughters through Dr Keenan and his team. Would highly recommend.

We had a great initial consult with Dr. Keenan and the NEDC. Everyone was very welcoming and we are excited to be moving forward with our embryo adoption.

Please dont waste your time! After one appointment, Im already getting a second opinion from a more qualified doctor. He is all about pushing IVF when it is not necessary. Im 38 and had my tubes burned 6 yrs ago. We went to him with hopes of having a tubal reversal, but it felt like he didnt even want to discuss that option. In his words, if I do it and it doesnt work, thats a waste of my time. We were in shock that he would even utter those words to patients who so desperately want a baby by tubal reversal. So upsetting that he acts like he is only concerned with making more money off IVF. It seemed like we were more knowledgeable about the success rates and procedures than he is. I had to ask all the questions and instead of intelligent answers, all he wanted to talk about was all the alternatives.

I was referred to see Dr Keenan but I didnt even see him and saw NP.NP told me I have fibroids but didnt not have time to explain nothing until I asked.Not really impressed to come back.

Dr. Keenan is 100% a wonderful, compassionate, caring and professional physician. I would recommend him without hesitation!

We went for help in having a child. Dr Keenan is good, staff was too. It’s a boy.

He did our embryo transfer. He did a great job. We now have a baby boy!
