Dr. Mendes is awesome! She gives you a natural look, explains the process, always addresses any concerns and takes her time to make sure you get the best results! Staff are very friendly and helpful! They are also quick to get you in for an appointment. I’m very satisfied and I highly recommend her services!

Enjoy isnt the feeling I have but satisfaction is. I had the Morpheus 8 and it is really uncomfortable. Sulima is a very compassionate esthetician.I know she is doing all she can to bring about the best possible outcome. Shes also really nice. I will definitely recommend her to my friends and family!I love the Endymed treatments!! There’s a slight improvement.I would not recommend a chemical peel to people of color because I think they are too tentative with the treatment in fear of causing a chemical burn. I paid for one and I have had zero improvement.

Office manager is absolutely terrible. Unfortunately she is the only one that can send referrals as the other staff members are not trained to do so.Will only refer to Dr. Jones Womens Clinic which has terrible reviews and I learned exactly why.No answers provided. Lack of communication and empathy throughout. Multiple test done and office visits charged instead of a phone call sharing results that tests preformed were insufficient.No consideration of patient finances or time. An endless money pit. Save yourself the trouble and find another office.

I am a patient of Dr Mendes for over 8 years now. Today I took my daughter, 20 years old for a IPL presidure. She has problems with acne and has blemishes on her face. I had acne and the IPL was really good for me for that. She had a excellent experience with Shannon. Her skin was a little bit red in the beginning and was a little bit burning but one hour after the procedure her skin is cool again. Her freckles are a little darker but supposed to fluff off after a couple days. I love the cool peel procedure that I have done twice now and love however I am 50 years old and need a little more invasive procedure for my wrinkles. Salima, Katie or Shannon or fabulous and I highly recommend them..

Had an appointment with Dr. Mendes today and had a great visit. She addressed my concerns and when I left I felt so much better about myself. She always makes sure your concerns are addressed and resolved if desired. I have also had Hydrofacials from Shannon and thoroughly enjoyed them. All of the staff are amazing there. Dr. Mendes is incredibly professional, has years of experience that is evident in her recommendations and skill of treatments, her office is clean, organized, and staff is very welcoming. I am currently on day seven post CO2 deka laser. The radiance my face has is unlike any treatment I have done before. This is an added bonus because I did the treatment for my acne scars. I have trusted Dr. Mendes and staff over the years and this was no different. Everything was explained to me and although I was nervous because lasers are typically painful, I had very little discomfort during the treatment. After the treatment the after care instructions were again went over and I felt very at ease that my home care follow up would go smooth. If you are considering lasers or any other treatment options for acne scars, wrinkles, and skin texture issues Dr. Mendes and staff are the best.

Today I came in for a visit for a cool peel. Its a new laser that Dr Mendez has in her office I was super excited to try it out salima did my procedure she is very professional knowledgeable very kind and understanding. I chose not to have a numbing cream. It stinks a little bit but really not as bad as I thought it would be. The procedure was fast I was in and out my face is on fire right now however driving home with the air conditioning on high took even a trip to a store. My face is red and swollen but not too bad so far I really love it cant wait for the results. I love all the girls that work for Dr Mendez they have training all the time and thats the place that I trust with my face.

I recently had filler injections done by Dr. Mendes and I couldnt be happier. The results were immediately noticeable and each day that passes the results get better. She has the knowledge, expertise and artistry that has allowed me to trust her 100%. I have moved out of state but will continue seeing Dr. Mendes because she is worth every mile of the trip. I had a Cool Peel on my face & neck. Katie was the aesthetician. She cleaned & numbed my face & neck. We discussed what areas I wanted her to use the Dekra device on. I held the cold air wand whileKatie performed the procedure. The cool air wand makes the application much more tolerable. After the cool peel she gave me written instructions of how to care for my face & neck for the first week. I purchased ZO hydrating cream & 2Skin Ceuticals BioCellulose Restorative Masques to facilitate the after effects of the cool peel. Katie is very professional, pleasant, & a great aesthetician. She also called to see how I was doing the day after.I highly recommend Dr.Celia Mendes’s spa services.

Today I had the TeTra CO2 Laser procedure done by Dr Mendes!! I am SUPER excited about this new technology because after an hour of numbing, this procedure was painless and quick! During the procedure, I could feel a tingling sensation and afterwards my face felt warm and of course there was some redness! I am three hours post procedure and I just feel tightness and still there is redness!! My goal is to reduce wrinkles especially around my lips, improve sun damage and overall texture! Compared to other lasers, CO2 is my new favorite! I highly recommend Dr Mendes for all your facial rejuvenation needs! Thank you Dr Mendes👍🏼 I’ll be back!

This was my first experience with any type of spa or cosmetic procedure. As a medical professional, I tend to be very picky and critical of all professionals dealing with my medical care. I have to say that Dr. Mendes and her team were amazing! They were extremely friendly and approachable from the start, listened to my concerns, and reviewed all the options to help me choose what would work best for me. Also, they were very accommodating with my crazy work schedule. Im not fond of needles and I have a low pain threshold, but Dr. Mendes and her team were amazing at distracting me during the procedure and putting me at ease. So far, the follow-up care is also stellar! I cant recommend them enough.

I have been with this office since I moved to the Fayetteville area about 9 years ago. I have never actually seen Dr. Mendes except the time that I went in for a consult on cool sculpting. I did have a PA that I was somewhat happy with but she left last fall. I have been so frustrated with a number of different situations I finally decided to find a doctor elsewhere. So Im going to Pinehurst. My new doctor requested my medical records 2 weeks ago and have heard nothing. I called Mendes office and the office manager informed me that she didnt have time to process records and she didnt know when they would get transferred. I cant make an appointment with my new doctor until they get the records. I feel like my medical care is being held hostage by this practice. I have real issues that I need to see a doctor for and this is ridiculous.

By far the best experience I’ve ever had anywhere for a medical operation. The staff are very sweet and very dedicated to making sure you have an amazing experience. Dr. Mendez takes her time with your body and understands everyone’s body is unique. Salima makes you feel like you’ve known her forever and it makes the post op experience enjoyable as much as she can. Jessica made me feel so comfortable during my operation. I am so happy with my results and I’m not even done healing. This is truly a great place to get anything cosmetic done at.

I had awake lipo about a month ago and have been going in weekly for a massage and I am so pleased to have this extra fat out bc it was difficult to target that area during exercise. Dr. Mendes did an amazing job and I like how she worked to contour my sides. Salima is also amazing to care for clients each week for massages and she also did my Morpheus (probably spelled wrong) treatment to my face. I am happy with not only my services completed, but the professionalism and care of the employees at the clinic. I will be returning eventually for breast implants and my abdomen if I can’t do it alone with exercise. Totally recommend this doctor and I love that she cares for the people that work for her.

Ive been going to this office for years. I used to actually see Dr. Mendes, but now she is more focused on the cosmetic side of her practice. I now see whoever is free, Dr. Ruppe to be included. I have no problem with her. She is straight forward and by the book. The office is nice as well. But they are very unprofessional. When I call in I can never get someone on the phone. They dont give you an idea of how long you will be there. I have been in once just to give a blood sample and the whole visit took over an hour. Most of that visit I was in the waiting room waiting for a form to fill out that they lost.I am currently looking for other options in a provider.

After gaining so much weight during our relocation and being bummed about the state of our nation I finally feel like myself and I am in great spirits again! There are so many amazing services offered that I almost cant wait to get some facial wrinkles just to take advantage! This will be my 7th year with Dr. Mendes. As I aged 7 years in the process I look younger than when I met this wonderful doctor. Dr Mendes is at the leading edge of technology and spa products. She attends many seminars and is always excited to bring new knowledge and current modalities to her practice. I’ve visited other spas in the area prior to finding her practice.

I’ve been contemplating having laser resurfacing to reduce the appearance of acne scars for several years, this year I finally decided to take the leap. I called several providers between Fayetteville and Raleigh. I had lots of questions and wanted to feel good about my selection. Most practices require a non-refundable deposit just to get a consultation. My intention was to feel comfortable with the provider not to have them immediately assume I would not show up. Dr. Mendes’s office made me feel like a client from the initial phone call to the first consultation. So far I have had one Fraxel laser and one PicoSure laser treatment. I have been very happy with the results and look forward to completing my series of sessions. The staff is great and Jennifer, in particular, is very passionate and detail focused about her job. I highly recommend their services.

HRT Pellet insertion today! This is going to be a little lengthy (but, worth the read if you’ve ever looked into doing this). I had this done around two years ago and had to drive all the way to Cary, NC. I felt amazing for three months. It was a one time thing due to the fact the office moved to a different state. Well, when I saw on Dr. Mendes website she had begun offering this service ~ I jumped on board. The insertion of my pellets (yes, not everyone is the same regarding hormones folks - women or men therefore she will order a blood test prior to insertion so she knows what you need) was nothing less than spectacular! It has been 4 1/2 hours since my insertion and I still have no pain. The entire process was pain-free and believe me my first one (in Cary) was not.I didn’t even feel her inserting the lidocaine, she has such a gentle touch. Bottom line is if you are on the fence in doing this go ahead and just book a consultation and find out if it is for you. I’m blessed I did!

Update 9/5/19: Since my initial review things have improved. The incident may have been a fluke or perhaps theyre treating me differently because of the review, Im not sure. Several people in the office mentioned seeing the review, so Im reasonably certain it had an impact. Either way I feel confident enough to raise my review score based on all accounts not just the negative one (however egregious it was) and note that I still receive services from this practice and generally speaking I have had an overall good experience. I have, however, left the negative review below for accountability and reference.Had an appointment scheduled for a necessary and fairly urgent procedure at 4:30. I arrived at 4:10 and waited for 35 minutes to get taken back for vitals. Was taken back to the procedure room after vitals to wait on Dr Mendes and was told she would be right in. I waited and waited and waited and no one came. I could hear people emptying trash cans and cleaning adjacent rooms and leaving for the day since the office closes at 5.At 5:30 - an HOUR after my appointment - I tried texting and calling the number I have for the office. No response. At approximately 5:40 the nurse who initially assisted me assured me that Dr Mendes hadnt forgotten about me, she was just across the hall (on the spa side I presume). I broke down in tears and expressed my displeasure to the nurse and informed her how rude, unprofessional and unacceptable it was.The nurse was very nice, but there is absolutely NO REASON someone couldnt have AT MINIMUM checked on me periodically and kept me informed on the status. Even with periodic check ins theres absolutely no reason anyone should have to wait that long. After the nurse left the room I waited for 2-3 minutes to see if anyone was coming down the hall, but the hall was silent. I could, however, hear the nurse talking to someone on the other side of the door about how upset I was, yet still no movement toward my location. At that point, I put my clothes back on and walked out of the practice.That was the worst experience I have ever had in a Dr office and possibly the worst experience Ive ever had anywhere. There was absolutely no consideration for me or my time whatsoever. Rude. Unprofessional. UNACCEPTABLE. I used to refer people here all the time, but I could not and would not ever be able to refer anyone else.

My appointment with Salima was exceptional. She’s professional, practices great bed side manner, and walked me through the whole laser hair removal process. I’m so thankful for her! 😊

I have been going to Shannon for a few years now and absolutely love every treatment I’ve ever gotten. From microneedling to Morpheus8 it’s always a wonderful experience. Highly recommend it.

Went in for a consult and was able to do the recommended treatment then and there. Staff is super pleasant and they didn’t try to push any products on me, which has been frequent with other clinics.

The only reason I come here is for her PA that works there. She’s so kind and a very good provider. The office manager is extremely rude. I got a letter with a threaten of discharge for cancelling my last appointment well ahead of time. Like I said the pa is great but the people who you meet first….they’re not very pleasant.

The provider was extremely dismissive about my concerns and repeatedly told me that the frequent and intense pain and discomfort that I was experiencing was normal. Although I explained that the pain I was in was beginning to keep me from effectively carrying out even the most mundane of activities in my daily life, she refused to investigate any further than an ultrasound (my condition could not be detected by an ultrasound), saying that if I did not agree to a particular method of treatment, then there was nothing she could do for me.I found another doctor who was attentive and receptive to my concerns and investigated further. It turns out my pain was not normal, and needed surgery for correction. My new doctor correctly diagnosed me on the first appointment; I saw the provider at Dr. Mendes office about 4 times. My new doctor is also a man; it is ironic that I received more understanding and compassion regarding issues with my reproductive system from a man than I did from a woman.I understand that health care professionals may not get it right every time, but the providers dismissive and indifferent attitude to my pain and discomfort was so discouraging. Being sick and not knowing the cause is extremely stressful; having a doctor who doesnt seem to care increases the stress. My concerns were valid and deserved to be treated as such. Bedside manner is just as important as the actual medical care, and it was lacking in my dealings with this particular provider.On a positive note, the nurses and medical assistants here were very friendly and reassuring. They were extremely informative and answered every one of my questions. The ultrasound technician and the phlebotomist were particularly warm, and made uncomfortable procedures completely bearable. I wish I could remember their names so I could properly give them credit. Even so I must give this place only 1 star due to misdiagnosis, mistreatment, and lack of beside manner. I would have saved myself time and money (and spent less time in pain) had I gone elsewhere in the first place.

This review is for the Gyn side and not the spa. It was a long wait... hours long past my actual appointment time before I was seen, and they were not even that busy. An older woman in her 70s said shed been there for hours herself--and she seemed pretty fed up. I understand the average doctors office can run behind, but staff just didnt seem that helpful or concerned. The exam was fine, but since the doctor isnt taking new patients a PA will perform exams. I didnt receive a post card regarding exam results in the mail, and if I hadnt called for information on it and the labs I wonder if they would have contacted me at all. Thats why its important for women to be proactive about their health. I cannot say I feel confident about this place being my sole ob/gyn in the future. Some things need to be worked on within the staff, and its heavily focused on cosmetic procedures vs womens health care. I understand the reason behind that because there is more money in it, but it rubbed me the wrong way.

I’ve been going to Dr. Mendess office for over 10 years. Every time I go into Dr. Mendes practice I see good spirits in all who work there. It appears she has grown in clientele and has added a fairly new service gearing to women’s wants and needs.From the start of my first visit to now, both Doctor Mendes and Elena Ruppe P.A are professional and down to earth, along with their staff. Everything is explained to me in laymans terms and all my questions are answered. They both truly care about ones health.Mostly, I see Elena Ruppe P.A. I wouldn’t trade Ms. Ruppe for another gynecologist. She has a kind heart, great since of humor, and delights in her patience personalities, but most of all she truly cares. Her recommendations in my mid years have helped encourage and direct me. Plus, her support in the field of women’s health has kept me informed and has made each appointment an easy transition.The service of women’s health at this practice is truly the place. Words cannot express the gratitude of getting professional help and service, along with feeling one belongs and is cared about. Like many, I dread going for my annual exams, however, I have never left Dr. Mendes’s office feeling that I have come to the wrong place.Do appreciate you all.

I cant say enough good things about this office and their staff (on the GYN side, so far). When my previous provider closed unexpectedly, I had to find a new GYN for myself and my daughter. They were able to get my daughter in asap because she had a prescription that was going to need to be refilled. And when I asked to be seen earlier than my original appt, they were able to accommodate me. But Im sure a lot of places would do the same, so let me tell you what set them apart from my previous provider and even the other healthcare facilities I had been to in the past: customer service and patient service/care. It was abnormally busy the day I went in and I did have to wait a bit to be seen. They were very apologetic and when I had to come back in for lab work, they made it a priority to get me in and out first so that I could get back to work. Everyone at this office from the front desk to the lab tech and the PA who saw me was 100 percent professional, nice and treated me (and my daughter from what she says) well. 10/10 would recommend.

I started being a patient of this physician a while back. It was odd to me to be told today that if I want to be seen, I have to see a physicians assistant because the doctor will not be seeing patients amymore. Especially since the first available appointment to even see the PA is 90 days out. GYN Is such a personally sensitive field of medicine. At times the need is urgent. I am disappointed to have to seek care elsewhere.

Made an appointment with Dr. Mendes and never got to see her. I seen Dr. Rupee. Everyone including front staff seems to hate their job. They lack customer service and I spoke to the office manager Sherman concerning it and she was the rudest thing in the world. They could all care less about your experience. All they want is to get paid.

I havent seen Dr. Mendes in years but I have recently seen Dr. Cothran, PA and she couldnt have been nicer, more professional and easy to talk with about my health. I highly recommend her!! in future visits, I will certainly ask to be seen by her.

The first few time I went to see Dr Mendes it was for the Juvederm and Botox I very pleased with the results . When Dr Mendes brought a new machine the treatment was for Liposnix treatmeant it shocks the fat and is suppose to melt the fat away. This did not work for me or my sister and a friend of mine that had this procedure on the same day. I went back in and told Dr Mendes that I feel myself can inches with in 2 days of this treatment and in fact had gained 3 inches when she measured me I had gained 5 pounds but that would not make me can 3 inches in my midsection. This procedure cost $3,000.00 just a little more I could have gotten Liposution , the inches have not gone away and she did not stand behind her work. As long as she was paid in full that was all she was interested in. I would not recommend this to anyone. Thank you Glenda

They did a great job and was so understanding and accommodating. I was able to speak to the nurse whenever I had questions. Dr Mendes explained everything as she did it. Which made me so comfortable.

I was having a colposcopy and the MA opened the door and left mid procedure while I was in the stirrups and exposed. They also insist on taking a urine sample for pregnancy testing at every visit even though I have an IUD. The procedure room was very cluttered with boxes and unpacked supplies. The PA also gave conflicting recommendations from visit to visit. The whole experience was uncomfortable.

The staff is great and Dr. Mendes is amazing. Since moving to the area and getting my injectables (jeuveau) through Dr. Mendes, I could not be more pleased with the results!

Aesthetic / Spa department, most all the staff is somewhat welcoming. All except the receptionist. I was provided prices and information on services i was seeking, in doing so. I spoke to someone that confirmed pricing discounts and services. However, as i call and confirm appt a woman rudely you can sense becomes tense, as i confirmed that my prices were not to change. The woman (Eva) stated she could not provided those services under the discounts provided to me when having made the appt initially 7days prior by another person (Shannon), that was well spoken understanding of my interest in services. After we decided to hang on to the appt date and hung up. She called me back, not even apologizing but saying, so i looked into it and your are right there is a special if u get this, this service will be thrown in. I said, you need to know your job rather than tense up over something a customer is saying they were provided info on. It was miscommunication on your part. I told you. And all you have to do was say, let me look into that and get back with you. Or just know your specials when the month is almost up for new specials. Then i said, No problem, i will see you on my appt date. To include, i will let your lack of knowing your job/place and how to properly handle an unclear situation but i wont forget you not doing so. She said, please dont forget. I said, I just said that. And she hung up on me soon as she said that. The office manager called me back and said, she backs up whatever, Eva says. I responded, of course you do. She said, we will just cancel everything because if we service you it will just be worse and go down from there. So i said, to myself, whoa, that sounded like a prediction that she i will have more trouble.

The customer service was great and they even refunded me which I really appreciate, but when I got to my appointment they informed me that the tattoo machine was broken which I completely understand, things happen. My only problem was they didn’t call me prior to say that it was broken, so I feel like I wasted my time, when I could have been calling around to make an appointment somewhere else.

As usual, the service was beyond excellent the staff is caring and supportive and talk to you through each procedure. I love getting compliments on my skin and I always feel better after I leave the office.

Just got the Morpheus 8 Face/Neck facial. Already loving the results! Little bit if readiness… but goes away pretty fast. Shannon explained the process and was very professional. Definitely going to do it again!

I have had Botox and jevaderm and the staff have always been fabulous. Her prices are very competitive. Place is clean and shes very good in what she does. I believe doing injections is an art.

I am so disappointed. I started a new job and immediately scheduled an appt to check some pelvic pain Ive been having. My HR rep helped me download my insurance card on my phone until the paper copy came in the mail. This office wouldnt accept it. I asked if I could email the downloaded insurance card to the receptionist so she could print it that way. They still refused. I couldve rescheduled but I think Id rather go to an office thats more helpful.

No problem with the doctors but the lady behind the glass. We owed money, ok. Paid then told had to reschedule, ok. Have to wait to clear from collection agency. Why? You took my money but couldnt tell me why I owed it. Also insurance cover 100% of yearly physical, they dont file it as such even though told all is a 100 % covered, must not like the discounted negotiated price with cigna. The person behind the glass really needs a class in customer service, if not then wait until she attitudes the wrong person. Dont tell me I owe but cant tell me what or why when youre looking at the file, dont offer me help in finding out what the expense is from. I know it sounds petty but that person is the first point of contact in your office.

Ive been going to Celia Mendez office since I was 15 and I am now almost 23. Ive never had a problem with Mrs. Mendez but Mrs. Rupe is very rude and it seems like she doesnt like her job, not attentive at all and always with an nasty attitude. After arriving to my appointment on time I waited an hour to be seen and still didnt get the test results I went it for.. But as I leave the office I notice everyone else has been seen. I only went in for results not for check up. I complained and the office manager did not help one bit, she was more of a bigger problem. Needless to say.. I will no longer be going back.

Elena Ruppe was insensitive when I came in during a miscarriage--she told me, Youll get over it. I wasnt crying or anything, I was just sad. Thats how she reacted. She was impatient and rude. She stood as far away from me as possible in the exam room and scolded me for not having had a more recent blood test (I was never instructed to have one). I changed providers because of this and because I hated seeing the ads for lipsuction and botox every time I walked into my gynecologists office.

I have loved working with Shannon at Dr. Mendes’ office! She is so sweet, knowledgeable, & makes my skin happy!

Mrs Ruppe is so unprofessional! She will come to you without looking at your file on hand give you wrong information. This has not happened once but twice! She is not friendly at all! I will never go back to this place. I was not seen by Dr. Mendes herself, but I was seen by another woman, I believe her name was Dr. Rupee. I am 18, married and a sophomore in college. I did not appreciate the doctor pressuring me to take birth control pills or any other forms of birth control. My first visit, I told her that I did not want them and that I would be ok, and she said something along the lines of, well you wont be ok because you will get pregnant but not before asking how long I have been married and if I am working or going to school. ( I am in school, not working) She asked me if I was ready to take care of a baby. Today, my second visit, I was seen for an ultrasound (to check reproductive organs) the sonographer ( A woman I believe to have had well intentions) told me that I should be focused on school and not babies because my boyfriend wont stick around, but to her surprise I told her that I am married, only to have a negative reaction ( youre just as BAD as my daughter) Why is it bad that I am married? Because I am 18? Black? Following the ultrasound, I was seen by Dr. Rupee, who told me that the pain I was experiencing was due to ovulation and birth control would help with that and I declined then she offered Mirena and I declined again. At this point I could tell she was frustrated, so I told her that my plan was to lose weight to get back on to my previous birth control (have to be a certain weight for it to be effective) Next the doctor told me that, if I did not get on birth control pills, I would just get pregnant and gain more weight, with a very sarcastic tone. Being 18, I realize that it is uncommon or frowned upon to have a child, but being 18 I am also an adult and a married adult, and IF MY HUSBAND AND I decided to forgo birth control and/or have a baby right now, that is my right to do so. That being said, I do not need a doctor or anyone for that matter to try to guilt, scare,or pressure me into taking birth control. I wonder how the doctor wouldve handled a person of Catholic faith and their decision to not use birth control. Just like it is every womans right to choose birth control, it is my right to decline it as well. Id also like to point out that I do not see a pregnancy or child as a death sentence or ruining my life. A child is a blessing and a gift and when it is my time to receive my blessing(s) I will gladly accept. I am not trying to conceive but If I were, that is my decision and I cannot stress this enough. I strongly recommend against visit the unprofessional Dr. Rupee.

Ive never been to this facility. I called at 11:04 a.m. to see what their availability was like the lady who answered the phone took my name and my date of birth and then Place me on hold. 3 minutes later a different lady picked up the phone and asked me what I was holding for and I said I wasnt exactly sure another lady put me on hold and then she put me back on hold. At 11:13 I hung up and called back to tell them that I was on hold for well over 8 minutes and that was poor customer service. I never got an apology nor did she try to resolve my issue. I just told her that I never been to the facility nor would I schedule an appointment there because their customer service was very poor!!

I would highly recommend this facility and Dr. Mendes! Jennifer and Dr. Mendes are wonderful! I have had vaser Lipo and botox done and have been extremely pleased with the outcome of both!

I am so disappointed and frustrated with this office. Its awful to try and talk to a live person. When you call you have to leave a message and they say they will get back to you within 24 hours. I left a message, waited 24 hours, left another message and no call back. Apparently they dont need any patients. Their office staff needs a lot of work.

I have been going here for years, however it is virtually impossible to speak with a live person...you would think if you told the receptionist that you were calling to pay a bill she wouldnt keep you on hold forever, and then will you tell her to call you back...she doesnt and then the office closes...bad customer service at its best!
