Comprehensive Womens Center OBGYN Victor Cantero MD FACOG, FACS

It has a good location. There is always parking. The clinic is very clean and tidy. The employees and doctor speak Spanish and English. And they are very kind. The only thing I am not happy with, from my experience, is that once you can no longer continue to see them for health insurance reasons. The treatment is different. I needed answers to some tests, they always said the doctor would contact you. I never received that call. Anyway. They do a good job while you are seeing them. Thank you.

I gotta say, I’ve been coming to these two offices with victor cantero (Mirimar/Weston) and I appreciate soo much the attention and timeliness of their business. I’ve been seeing Dr cantero for years and he is so patient, professional, kind. I highly recommend!Also the boy in the front desk of the Weston office is so sweet and patient as well give him a raise

I came in today and was extremely pleased with my visit . The front desk staff was so attentive and kind, very knowledgeable & quick to answer any of my questions.The MA who brought me in really made it a memorable experience so much so that I even forgot she was drawing my blood. The provider Nancy was the cherry on top! She took her time with us and really addressed everything we should know as first time parents. She made me feel so comfortable and sure I chose the right place for my first baby. Being in the medical field myself I can tell she really loves her job. Dr.Cantero did a phenomenal job selecting his staff!!! Thank you for making this such a beautiful experience for me!

Super appreciate Dr. Cantero and his staff. Was able to accommodate and address my concern same day. （I literally made the Appointment same day early morning ）Made me feel so Happy and Released. And beautiful office！

I love my visits with Nancy Gavilanes. I come to her with my questions and issues and she takes her time listening to all my concerns. Truly makes me feel comfortable and I leave satisfied with my visit. Dr.Cantero delivered my 3rd baby prior to Nancy being added to the office staff. I had a wonderful pregnancy and a great delivery experience with Dr.Cantero. Never an awkward moment. He also gave me the confidence to ask any question in regards to any issues. I love the staff. Everyone is friendly and helpful.

UPDATE 4/2024I left this practice 8 months ago.Here You need to pay Copay at the office every time. They also charge You before the appointment!I paid for every single visit I had!And today is the date when I’m getting mail to my home saying that I owe each and every single one of them.STAY AWAY!!!Original Review 9/2023 - 3 Stars!It saddens me to have to leave this review.I found this office on Zocdoc. Read the reviews & even when there were some negative ones I thought, let’s give this a try because there are people in life that complain about everything. I didn’t even notice the replies the office made yet. Very unprofessional.I came in & everything was great. The doctor is very down to earth. I felt comfortable with his communication.This is our first pregnancy so maybe We would’ve wanted a bit more attention, but I just think everyone goes through this, We are not special. I felt like Dr. Victor was great.A friend that works at the hospital where he has privileges recommended us to try another opinion with a doctor from the hospital.I went & tried it out because it wouldn’t hurt. But I had already decided to stay with Dr. Victor since he saw me from day one & I was happy with the staff.Everything changed with just one phone call.Someone from the office called me very rudely saying that I needed to make a decision right on that call. They needed to know in that moment which doctor I was going to stay with because I couldn’t have 2.This office is not the cheapest & I had still decided to stay with it, but this Woman was just so rude for nothing. Acting like I had just commited a crime!!I told her that she didn’t have to be rude & even if it was just my perception she could’ve apologized. But she just told me that she wasn’t being rude & that I couldn’t have 2 doctors.I asked how this affected their office & she couldn’t answer. Just kept mentioning that it was going to create confusion with my insurance which has nothing to do with them. She didn’t even ask if I was going to pay cash.Im sad that Customer Service is not a priority when comunicating with patients.It should be, the nurses shouldn’t be handling both roles.I’m really sad I’m not staying with them just because of this hiccup. But I just went for the second visit, If this happened so early I can’t imagine the rest of the days.Now, the doctor at the hospital was great too. They even gave us documents of all the upcoming consults, which stated what was going to happen on each one. In general I felt more informed as a first time expecting Mom.Here We just didn’t really know what was going to happen on each consult. Honestly It didn’t really matter to me. I was staying with Dr. Victor anyways, I liked him. I was excited to have my blood work done with them based on the expectations set by Dr. Cantero.Nothing to do with the doctor, but they are a Team. & their Patients are their Customers. Should treat them as such. Or just don’t do this line of business where You have to deal directly with people.Whoever called me, I’m sorry if You had a bad day. It shouldn’t reflect on how You treat Your patients, it’s not professional. (I know who it was, but I prefer to protect the name, because there is no need to discredit someone based on a bad day. Also I’m just one person & the other bad reviews are to few to create a strong opinion. Maybe I was just unlucky).Interpersonal skills. Key to life.If they approached it differently, professionally & as if what I did was not a personal attack, maybe I would’ve stayed regardless.Which I had already decided, even over my friend’s feedback.This friend works at the hospital & was alarmed when I mentioned my doctor’s name. I didn’t give too much attention because everyone has their own expectations & to me Dr. Cantero did a great job. This situation just made me wonder & changed my mind.Again I’m sorry this was our experience, Dr. Cantero did everything right. His voice is so calming/soothing & I really felt good under his care. Also, they always have great appointment times!

Dr. Cantero and his staff are amazing. You can feel great energy from everyone once you walk in the office. Everyone is helpful and kind.

This is the best decision I’ve made for my health. Coming to Dr. Cantero and his staff has saved my life. From my uterus getting removed out of precaution due to possible cancer and losing weight to have a better lifestyle, I couldn’t thank him enough. I recommend his team with my eyes closed.

Dr. Victor Cantero is the Best Dr & OBGYN in FL, excellent professional, he is a kind and friendly person and I have always felt very comfortable with the service and care, Dr. Cantero has been my Dr. since 2012 for my first and my second pregnancy during the nine months of gestation until delivery. Both of my deliveries went very smoothly. Super amazing staff who have worked with him for many years. The offices are very clean, high tech and modern. Highly recommended in Miramar or Weston and most importantly they are always on time with appointments :)

My wife Leily Villegas and l had our first ultrasound visit to check on our first baby, and I have to say it was a wonderful experience. Aside from the happiness it brought to our hearts to see our baby and hear his heartbeat, we also experienced terrific service from the staff and Dr. Cantero. We are excited to be back in the future and would recommend their service!

Friendly, professional staff and a comfortable environment. The entire team makes me feel confident my baby and I are well cared for. I’ve had to leave messages with concerns on the after-hours line twice during my pregnancy and both times Dr. Cantero himself promptly returned my call to talk me through things.

Dr. Cantero literally goes above and beyond to make sure you are comfortable and at ease through out pregnancy. His staff is incredible. I’m so happy I found his practice!

Amazing Doctor straight to the point and never stressed me.office staff were always so friendly to me and helpful when i had to bring my toddler to appointments with me. My wound has healed so incredibly well and is barely noticeable as opposed to my first c section in the u.k. Nurse Michelle is amazing and was always knowledgable and friendly during all visits. She remained cool with me even when i was grumpy and ready to pop after the hospital changed my c section date. She was reassuring and it all worked out amazing. If i ever have another child this will be my chosen doctor again.

I had doctor victor Canterro for my first pregnancy, and now again for the my second pregnancy. Thank god my delivery was so easy because of him. He is very professional and a great doctor. He respond right away! I feel very comfortable dealing with him.All his staff are professional especially chachi the manager is the best.

I have been coming for the past year to this office. I can honestly say that dr. Cantero and his staff by far are the best that I have seen from other offices. They are humble people and care sincerely about their patients.Thank God for leading me to this office. God bless them ALL.

I made an appointment with Dr. Víctor Cantero one weeks in advanceand on the same day of my consultation, when they saw me, they told me that the Dr would not see me, but rather a nurse. (I found it very disrespectful because my appointment was with the Dr). Then they order my husband to do some fertility tests and tell me that I have to make an appointment with my husband to find out his results (but the appointment is in my name because obviously a gynecologist does not see men). On the day of the new appointment they charge me $227 just to read their results. The terrible experience! Terrible service, no one understands or explains anything, they are just waiting to be paid. I will never come back!
