OVA Health is awesome! I got the ear seeding done yesterday, it’s a non-invasive treatment. It’s like acupuncture but without the needles. The Doctor was very informative and answered every question I had. Love this place!!!

I had a great experience with the staff at Ova Health. Their service was excellent, and they showed great attention to patient care. From start to finish, they made me feel comfortable and well taken care of. I truly appreciate their professionalism and dedication to providing top-notch service.

I highly recommend Ova health fertility if you suffer from PCOS. I have been seeing Dr Zakes for the past 2 months and i have already seen significant improvements on my pcos symptoms. I have been following OVA health for a while and have been hesitant about coming. At 40+1 wks I decided to try the induction acupuncture. I had an incredible experience! Everyone in the office is so welcoming and made me feel at home. The experience was so calming. I can’t wait to come back!

Found this place on Google and after reading the reviews, I decided to check it out. I was trying to get pregnant for 5 years, during this time had multiple miscarriages plus 2 unsuccessful IFV cycles. Reason unknown, as I already had 2 kids prior and except FSH of 15 in my 33yo there is no other indications. After getting acupuncture for 2 months only I got pregnant, and I am currently 34 weeks. I can say its magic that was done in OVA Health. Thank you!

Meeting Dr.Z was the best thing for me and my soon to be growing family. She and her staff are truly amazing. She cares about what my needs were from day 1. My experience so far has been hands down the best. She pays attention to details and establishes a treatment plan according to your own needs. They are detailed and very flexible when needing to change an appt last minute. They go above and beyond to check on you even when not in office. I would definitely recommend her office for all your acupuncture needs.

Having a great postpartum experience is no accident thanks to the team at Ova Health. Currently 3 weeks postpartum and 5 stars doesnt cut it. I was throughly prepared for a less than positive experience thus far but that hasnt been the case. I always feel welcome and supported whenever I visit. From ensuring my uterine health, to mental health, to ensuring I have a great milk supply to feed my little one- theyre here for me.

I have been doing acupuncture at Ova Health for three months to support my fertility journey and manage my PCOS. During my first visit, I was encouraged to hear about their high success rate. Dr. Zakes and her team do a great job educating and encouraging. It’s not every day you can text your healthcare provider with questions/updates — that open line of communication is truly special and so appreciated. They recently opened a new office location because their practice is growing, and it’s such a cozy and welcoming space. While I’m still waiting for my rainbow baby and trusting the process, I have seen my cycles regulate and respond well to treatment, which also involves taking Chinese herbs and other supplements. If you’re struggling to get pregnant, I recommend seeking them out first before exploring more invasive and expensive interventions. I hope to be able to update this review when pregnancy is achieved ✨

Ive never left a Google review IN MY LIFE but I absolutely had to for the ladies at Ova and Dr. Z. I came in with a lifelong experience of horrendous menstrual pain and bleeding. Days of intense and continuous cramping and large clots. I would miss work and important life events due to this. Ive only been coming to Ova for about 7 weeks and in that time my periods have significantly decreased in pain. I feel like a normal person for the first time in my life and Im finally able to function when that time of the month comes along. This was my first acupuncture treatment and I loved it. The ladies at the office are so nice and make you feel at home. I am excited to start this journey with Ova, Zully and Dr. Zakes.

First I would like to say that Dr. Zakes has an amazing energy and aura about her. The rooms are all decorated in such a beautiful way. She sends all the good vibes and the acupuncture she gave me always made me feel brand new after each session.I felt that the pricing was a little too high for the fertility acupuncture. I also felt that there are too many clients and little availability. I had to remind the front desk about things they sold me in my package and did not include until weeks or even months later. I had to constantly have to remind them about my yoni steams and had to drive there just for that. I would also always wait about 30 mins to be seen because Dr. Zakes is only one person which I understand, but she goes room by room and I am assuming all rooms are scheduled at the same time. For these reasons I did not continue nor did they ask me if I wanted to continue after my 3 months. Unfortunately I did not get pregnant with the treatment, but I have heard of many success stories via the reviews and their Ig page.

Before starting my journey with Dr. Zakes I was a bit confused and unguided. After seeing Dr. Zakes for a little bit over a month for fertility I can say all of my doubts have been addressed and feel extremely comfortable. Ever since I started going in for acupuncture, I feel and see the difference in my body and menstrual cycle. Dr. Zakes is a magical healing fairy. I started seeing her almost 2 years ago with weekly migraines and accupuncture has made a huge difference in my life. I stopped the Botox treatments I was getting from my neurologist and no longer have to deal with painful Botox injections every three months. It has also helped with my overall anxiety and tummy issues AND helped my husband with his back pain and anxiety.Dr. Zakes also helped me get pregnant while having PCOS and she helped me through the whole pregnancy, and it was a rough one.I highly recommend her to anyone and everyone. At first, I was very skeptical of acupuncture - if it weren’t for my husband doing major convincing I would’ve missed out on the good stuff! This place has become mine & my husband’s self care dates. We usually go in for acupuncture & cupping. Between cosleeping with a toddler, the aches and pains that come with parenthood, and my husband’s long hours of standing as a stylist - this place makes us feel like new. Dr. Zakes is very knowledgeable, and takes her time with each patient. The location does not have a medical office feel, making it feel inviting rather than cold and intimidating. Any chance I get, I make sure to recommend this hidden gem to those in need of it.

I absolutely love this place! As soon as I walked through the door I felt the soothing and calming energy that I would be alright. I came in with severe back pain, heavily inflamed and after the treatment was done I had so much relief. I wasn’t expecting the relief I received after one visit. But I’m glad I received it. Dr. Zakes is an angel on earth. She’s made me feel at peace with my anxiety, and even helped me get pregnant super quick! I tried for 2 months with the assistance of acupuncture and got the positive test results. In fact I’ve already been sending her Instagram information to several of my friends and telling them the office is totally different and the vibe is the best I’ve ever seen!!! Incompetent and unprofessional. Dealing with this office has been nothing but a headache from start to finish.It all started with an employee that no longer works at the office. This employee gave me pricing for an “acupuncture package” during my full pregnancy that I later found out is not the correct cost.Upon arrival to my first visit, Dr. Zakes was 20 minutes late. I was put in a room with no pillows and asked to lie on my back. If she knew anything about pregnancy, she would know that the best position for a pregnant woman is always on her left side due to increased blood flow. She proceeded with acupuncture and I counted a total of only 10 needles. Being new to acupuncture I didn’t realize this was a very little amount- my neighbor who also is pregnant and sees an acupuncture doctor says she cant even count the amount of needles that they put into her body. The visit was everything but peaceful and relaxing. I was told to lie in an uncomfortable position for 30 minutes while I could hear everyone in the small waiting room next door chatting about their day and their visit. The room was also freezing- I wasn’t offered any blankets. In the last 10 minutes a technician finally came with a heat lamp.Following my appointment, I met with front desk Stephanie who would go over my package pricing. This confused me because I already agreed to a certain amount per visit. The office is unorganized and I didn’t hear back until 4 days later when she told me I was not allowed to only have acupuncture if I QUOTE “wanted a healthy and successful pregnancy and delivery.” I was finally quoted an acupuncture fee (per visit) after stating over and over again that I am not interested in their “functional medicine” visit, ebook, “bodywork” . This price was about double what the original employee had quoted me.It seems like the patient does not come first in this office—money does.I canceled all my appointments and was charged for my first visit an amount that was not discussed.

Im so grateful to Dr. Zakes for creating a miracle in my live. I was diagnosed with Pcos at an early age and I was told that I would be hard getting pregnant. Unfortunately that was true. Dr Carolina Zakes worked side by side with me at Coral Gables Wellness Center for many years before opening her Pembroke Pines Center. I do not know a better, kinder or professional acupuncturist. I have seen her perform amazing fertility treatments, where nothing else has helped.I have 20 years in the field, and will not consider anyone else when I, myself need an acupuncture treatment.

I’ve been doing cupping for a few months now with Dr. Zakes. I came to see her for back pain so aside from cupping she also recommended doing acupuncture. Dr. Zakes has been nothing but the most valuable resource through my trying to convince journey and now ensuring peace of mind through my pregnancy. At every turn, shes had an answer and multiple options for each challenge I face. Her acupuncture sessions pre and during pregnancy have able to calm my high anxiety and give me a level of peace I dont think Id be able to achieve without her. I want to start off by saying thank you Dr. Zakes and your team for making my dreams of becoming a mom happen.Long review but worth reading!!My first appointment with Dr.Z was on January 31, 2020, I found out I was pregnant on March 27, 2020.Let me tell you how this happened!So just to give you a little background on me I have PCOS and I was told by a fertility doctor that I would have to do IVF in order to get pregnant now for those of you who don’t know and those of you that do know IVF is super expensive!So I decided to look for other options and I found Ova Health and I am so glad that I made the decision to go.The moment I met Dr. Z I knew her and I we’re gonna have a good relationship she is so funny and so sweet! She explain to me everything I needed to know about PCOS and how to get pregnant! She got me on the right Health plan and we got work. I started doing sessions every week and it was great super relaxing and didn’t hurt at all.She was actually the first person I called to tell I was pregnant and we both cried on the phone and it was just a beautiful moment.And now I have a beautiful baby boy who is five months old and I enjoy every second I have with him and it’s all because of Dr. Zakes!

Amazing !!! We were trying to get pregnant for 3 years. We were following all of the steps per our GYNs directions and Google. Eventually, she decided it was time for us to try VIF treatments. After researching some of the side effects from VIF treatments, We decided to try a more hoslitic method instead. We both went to Dr. Zakes. She is extremely knowledgeable and patient with all of our questions and concerns. Its not just acupuncture, its an investment in healing your body and preparing yourself correctly the natural way. She is a physician of oriental medicine but believes in western medicine when necessary. This was important for us because we were worried about the separation of both medical treatments as seen in many offices.We became pregnant within 4 visits! We are now 6 months prego with a little boy on the way.We Highly recommend Oval Health for All fertility and all other lady concerns. She also does pain management for men and a ton of other services. Dr. Zakes really cares about her patients and I have sent over 6 couples to her who have also experienced similar treatment. I had one appointment so far, but the staff and Dr. Zakes are extremely professional and make you feel that you are in very good hands. The atmosphere is very welcoming and tranquil.

Terrible business. Bubbly new front desk manager is incompetent and asks same questions 5 times. Doc makes 3 appts at same time, then makes patients wait for 40 minutes while treating others. No music and partitions that do not meet the ceiling make for zero privacy in conversation. Offered information about other patient that was none of my business or concern, definitely no respect for privacy.

Both Devon and Dr. Zakes were amazing. They were both attentive and responsive to my needs. It was a great experience and I feel so relaxed. Thank you!

Ova health is a hidden gem that it took me a while to find and when I did it became my sanctuary, its a place for comfort, self-love and self-appreciation, I found a support group that I can trust and learn from them, not only physically, but mentally and spiritually, I’m eager to go every week because I can unwind all my worries and stress from the daily routine.... i travel for 45 to and hour once a week for my therapy with Dr. Zakes and it is worth it... I was searching for a Fertility Dr. on Google and the first thing that came up was OVA! This place is amazing, the Dr. and staff are very nice. It is my first time doing Acupuncture and before my appointment I read the comments and thought it was impressive, really what I needed. When I visited the place I confirmed that this is true and works because I saw the girls results and I have a lot of faith in God and in the Dr. and her natural medicines that I will edit this post again with positive results 😁. I have been trying to get pregnant for 2 and a half years with different methods and I still havent conceived, but OVA has been like a light for me, Ive only been doing this treatment for a month and I notice the change, we will soon have good results 🤍
