UrgentMed Urgent Care Davie FL

This facility is dirty. Not clean at all. Cobwebs hanging from the ceiling in the lobby, dirty chairs, filthy floors and bugs. The staff is nice but disgusting for a medical facility.

I Called in first...couldnt ask for a better phone, check-in and overall experience!! The wait was short, everyone was pleasant, professional, answered all of my questions, the care was top notch and the clinic was close to home. It isnt my 1st experience with UrgentMed (Davie and other locations, including out of state) and doubt, my last. I recommend them 100%!Thank you, Urgent Med, staff and Doctors!-From a completely satisfied patient!

As I was leaving Costco today, I thought I was having a panic attack. I stopped at this urgent care for a quick blood pressure check and to calm down so I could drive home. Everyone was so nice to me. All I really needed was someone to talk to since it was the anniversary of my mother’s death & I was wrecked with pent-up grief. Thank you to the lovely PA who took care of me. I’m sorry I was too distraught to remember her name.

The doctor was extremely concerned about my pain level and took great care not to hurt me while removing my stitches.  Wait time was less than 10 minutes on a Saturday afternoon.  The check-in agent is kind, compassionate, and extremely competent.  I’d rather not need to return to an Urgent Care facility but if I do, this will definitely be the one.  I’ve been here twice before and each time the staff impressed me with their knowledge, efficiency and consideration.

Our visit was short and sweet. Quick xray of my son’s ankle to confirm there it was a sprain without a fracture. Staff, nurse and PA were all very kind and helpful!

I was not feeling the best this morning before school. So, I decided to stay home and pay a visit to this facility to get a doctors note for school. It was the best choice I ever made. The MD Marc is a brilliant man and gave me excellent advice on how to manage stress and anxiety. This place never disappoints me, and a yes for me, I would recommend the provider to anyone at anytime

Dr here are very kind and personable. Made me feel comfortable and they explained everything in detail even using a 3d imaging to shown me exactly what they were talking about. Staff was always smiling and always addressed me by name which made me feel comfortable there. Would recommend this location and would definitely go back if needed.

Avoid at all cost!! Do not go to this Urgent Care office... Shocked at how unorganized and poorly run this business is!! Took my girlfriend there with a sprained ankle on Sunday, September 15th at noon and no one was there. We even made an appointment online via their portal and received a confirmation text and no one was in the business when we arrived. I have no idea how this place can stay open if they dont even have hours of operation that are accurate from their sign on their front door and their website. They are supposed to be open until 5:00 p.m. on Sundays and there was no one there the entire day!

Starting from the front desk, nurse and doctor were very nice, kind and professional..The doctor explained completely my symptoms and remedy. Gave me the perfect medication for my sickness. Since yesterday and today Ive been taking my medicine and feel super, duper better.

We arrived in the area in the morning and my daughter started having a sore throat. We were due to board a cruise ship in the morning so I got her checked out. The place was clean, the staff was friendly and knowledgeable. We got in and out super fast. I am very pleased with the service!

The waiting time is terrible there was only one doctor the place is old scratched doors, equipment with rusty legs, the nurse has his equipment to measure the pressure and temperature in a sink, the bed where I was had a broken mattress thank god it comes with a paper where I lay down. I have been to otherUrgent care locations and this is the most horrible I do not recommend it. The only good thing is that the staff is very friendly and this is what helped me get through my pain.

I would rather use their office as my permanent doctors office. Sometimes it’s takes 2 weeks to see your family doctor…… this place always takes you right away. They are very thorough. I just love them!

Such a great experience! I was a walk-in and within 15 min was seen by the Doctor. Everyone was super friendly and the process was easy. I wish that this doctor was my primary physician.

It’s a great place to go. They take care of you right away. They try to help in anyway they can and they take care of you and refer you if they can’t do more. It’s a great place when you need urgent care. I have a broken arm and they have assisted me twice now

They took great care when first broke my foot but they scheduled an appointment last week and this week and the doctor was a no show. Im over it. I waited over 30 mins each time before they told me.

Therapist Roberto Rodriquez always pleasant and professional and Susanne from the front desks is patient and professional with even difficult patients. A pleasure watching her in action and she always greets me by name upon arrival and makes sure I am quickly attended to when I leave.Thanks😜

Made an appointment four hours before I wanted to go in. Lots of appointments available. Though there was a wait (odd since it was first thing in the morning, but not unexpected at a doctor’s office) the front desk staff was pleasant. I was called back and after my vitals were taken it was less than five minutes before the PA came in to see me.She was kind and listened to all I had to say, treating me with respect and compassion. She also took the time to relate on a personal level to me. If I could come back specifically to see her every time, I would.

This is our (my wife and I) preferred medical office - specially in urgency. We are well received, staff is professional and we get the care we need. We appreciate the fact the waiting time is well managed.

Made an appointment Sunday morning at 11:15. Show up, place is closed and no one is there. Not contacted in anyway other than automated system confirming my appointment. Unacceptable and unprofessional.

Went to get a class G security physical and i was in and out within 30 minutes, no exaggeration, great urgent care, highly recommend!

The doctor was very knowledgeable and good with people so was the nurse who first saw me. Took care of the problem and helped with future things for my health. I wish he was my primary doctor. Highly recommend Urgent Care Davie. Very fast 5 people in in lest than 20 minutes.

I scheduled my appointment a week in advance for today March 22nd at 2:00 I filled out all the paperwork online and they and they check me in at 1:36 p.m. I was not taken into the back until 2:30. They asked me to fill out paperwork I said I already did it online as requested. and I was told it was the wrong paperwork. It was a total waste of my time to follow the procedures that was asked of me to save time they said. it was just a waste. I was not impressed at all with this place. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Do not recommend this place what so ever brought my son for ear wax removal and they completely messed up his ear. I am warning you about coming here and they charge you $140 for a 1 minute visit when they made you even worse than how you came in. I will be fighting for my money back.

The best urgent care I have ever been!✨ They really take care of you, they know what they are doing. Absolutely amazing team! George was so gentle with injection and the blood test. The girl at the front desk was friendly, they were just getting ready to close so there was a little wait but it was worth it. The nurse was awesome! Very well educated and listened to all my concerns. The Dr was amazing so nice and listened to all my concerns as well! I am 10 weeks pregnant so he made sure to check all prescribed meds and showed me they were safe to take which made me feel so comfortable! The best part was the gentleman at the plantation location I think his name was Jeff 😅 he was so helpful and helped me get in line for the davie location when he could have just brushed me off and transferred me over! Amazing staff! Thank you so much!

This was my first visit. I was referred by a friend. Staff is extremely friendly. Nurse and doctor both take the time to listen to you and do not rush you out of the office. I took an appointment online knowing there could be walk-ins ahead once I got there. Wait time was short. Would definitely recommend!

I came in on a Friday night an hour before they closed! Everyone was quick and helpful! I needed medication as I have a terrible cough and could barely breathe. They sent over the prescriptions and CVS was able to fill it. Amazing service. Thank you 🙏🏽

I was coming up on the expiration of my DOT medical card. I called to make an appointment for a physical. I was seen that very day. In and out in no time. The front desk was amazing friendly, and professional. Saying the same for the examiners.Very professional and proficient staff

I ended up here due to another place being closed. This was a happy accident. As is the case with many urgent cares, this is mostly stagged by physician assistants. Since Im paying the same either way, I would prefer a doctor.Now those that I met with were skilled, caring, and thorough. Their bedside manner was excellent. The speed that I saw someone was well received.I would happily recommend them.

Got a call from Brittany who said last name was physiciansassistant. Asked what Im doing told her driving into cananda asked if I was born in 2009 . Told her no, then asked if I would get out of car and walk up to Canadian border patrol agent and hand my phone. Yelled at me Im wasting her time.this women sounds out of her mind. Told her Im born in 1987 got called a liared

I haven’t even left the business yet and they have more than earned my 5 star review. I have never been treated like this before at a medical facility. They have treated me like family since I walked in. I’m very sick with the flu and they are extremely thorough with the treatment plan. The only thing they haven’t done is cooked me a meal! They are beyond wonderful and understanding of my misery and are focused on getting me back on my feet. Truly brought a tear to my eye! They are the best!

They made me wait more than an hour to get this test done. Never called me with results. I had to call them several times to get answers. And more than week later they said the test results came back as inconclusive . I had to go back to be retested and again waited more than an hour to get tested even though I had appointments for both days. Staff wasnt friendly at all, and they just didnt care about how I was feeling or what was going on with me. They just wanted me to be in and out the soonest the possible. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL.

The receptionist was very polite and attentive. The nurse that dealt with me was patient and explained everything she was doing to me. I bruise easily and normally after drawing blood the area would become dark and stay that way for a long time, that didn’t happen to me even after two failed attempts. Dr came in worked his magic same thing no bruising after. I’d highly recommend Urgent Med Davie👏🏼

Staff was very polite and physician was thorough in explanation of his recommendations. Facility could use an update in regard to furnishings and equipment. Brief wait time.Went back for an unexpected acute problem and really was happy with the service. It was late Friday and the PA was very helpful with her suggestions and took the time to answer all my questions despite it was after closing. Nice receptionist too.

I went in right before closing and they were so nice, professional and just really caring and friendly and just so sweet I never go to any kind of urgent care places because I just felt like it’s so unpredictable but I was beyond grateful and just so happy and thankful for the people and the treatment. The nighttime receptionist with the long dark hair and scary long nails clearly hates her job and doesn’t have any interpersonal skills. Came in to this location inquiring about Ozempic and was told information about ozempic can only be given by the day staff?? If you don’t know what you’re doing just say that. Disappointing

Went to the UrgenMed in Davie with flue like symptoms and a horrible soar throat. Bought me in within 10 minutes. I must say from the front desk staff to the really nice doctor it was a refreshing professional and great experience. Starting to feel much better after the Doctor prescribed me the proper medication. Thanks again for your kindness and professionalism.

This is my second or third time using this clinic instead of using my insurance and going to an in network provider.I have used this clinic as an alternativeto the looooong wait at my primary care office & it is well worth the reasonable self pay fee. I highly recommend !!!

Had an appointment for 10:30am and waited an hour in the waiting room. I was about to ask for a copay refund and go elsewhere when they called me back in. The intake nurse was very pleasant and the Doctor was pleasant as well. I would go back but why schedule appointments just to make the patients wait an HOUR? Improve this process.

Making an appointment was easy. The doctor and nurse were so caring and thorough.

Showed up at 7:55pm and the door was locked. Someone was inside. We made eye contact, but she made no effort to say anything to me. The picture shows the hours and says they close at 9pm. So much for “urgent” care.

Not honest.I went to my scheduled medical visit which was fine. However while I was there, I mentioned to the doctor I had a scheduled COVID/RSV/FLU test at Walgreens later that day. She said they can do the test there, and I asked her to find out the cost. Shortly afterwards, the nurse came in with the testing equipment and she told me NO CHARGE. Of course, I agreed to it since they must have called my insurance to find out and I repeat again NO CHARGE. Well, you would think so if they said NO CHARGE.Well, I get a bill from Quest for $50 for the tests. I immediately contacted Urgentmed and was told that I must have misunderstood when I was told no charge. Surlina told me the NO CHARGE meant the facility wasnt going to charge me anything, but if my insurance plan was going to charge, that I should have found that out.This is insane and unprofessional to say the least. Obviously, it doesnt take a rocket scientist to understand if someone asks the charge, that you expect the facility will contact your insurance company. Ridiculous. So somehow, I was supposed to have a crystal ball and when the nurse came in ready for the test in her hand, and told me zero charge, I should have said wait, I need to contact me insurance company in case you didnt, to find out the charge?Davie UrgentMed was very disappointing. A shame too since the doctors seem to be good. But not worth it to deal with a place you cant trust.Hence, my reason for a 1 star rating.

I went into Urgent Med Davie , FL today because I have had shortness of breath. I left breathing well and with needed prescriptions. Everyone from the minute I walked in was super helpful, kind and informative and put me at ease. Sometimes at these walk in places you can be treated like a number and there is no customer service. This place is not like that and everyone was so sweet and kind! When I get insurance I would still go here because everyone is so nice! I would give this place 9 million stars if I was allowed. Everyone was professional, Kind,caring and informative they all deserve 9 million stars Thank you so much!

I went yesterday due to body aches, diarrhea, chills, nausea stuffy head and runny nose.As soon as I go there I Informed staff I have a 3 month old at home so I wanted to get checked out right away.I told all my symptoms to the nurse and medical staff I saw. They gave me medication and didn’t really tell me what I had. Today comes around I feel even worse, calm urgent care asking what I was diagnosed with and the women on the phone said the flu. I was shocked I said I never got tested for flu or covid the women on the phone was also shocked and said they should have done that the first thing. She said I could come back today and they would give me a discount which I’m sorry they should have done it yesterday or today at no charge.My neighbor had a covid test so I took it this afternoon and it was POSITIVE! I am so upset and beyond words with this urgent care. Here I am telling them I have a newborn not wanting to get her sick they didn’t test me told me I could come back today with another co pay and here I have covid! Not a happy client and will dissuade anyone else from going to this location or any urgent care at all.

My visit to urgent care was awesome way better than it ever was its improved 100% I highly recommend to go there they are very organized and very clean. The receptionist that took my paperwork and the other receptionist I forgot their names but I want to say they were very diligent and great at what they do and they actually really care. I went as a walk in for an ear ache, dr asked questions and I answered the dr listened and attentive checked my ear and very knowledgeable.It’s Saturday and the ENT office are closed fri sat Sunday I am not waiting for Monday and hope to have an appointment for sooner day so I went to urgent care, I am very happy about the care. Come in down and take care of yourself with urgent care then later if you want to can make an appointment with your dr as a follow up.

I understand long waits when there are people waiting in front of me, but what is with the 50 minute wait time when Im the only one there and there are ZERO people in front of me? Then after 50 minutes another paitient came in the front door, so they brought me back then. Docs are good there once you get to see them though.

Literally the best urgent care i’ve ever been to. From the moment I walked it the entire staff was welcoming and so extremely helpful. I wish I would’ve gotten everyone’s name. The beautiful lady that helped me from the waiting room and did my x-ray was amazing! So professional but made me feel comfortable and had me laughing even with an injury. The Dr was equally wonderful. Very kind and explained everything very well. Even the young man that wheeled me out to my car once I was done was lovely as well. I was in and out relatively quickly. Very pleasant experience.

I visited Urgent Med in Davie before the holidays just to make sure I was ok. I was a bit apprehensive being that it was my first testing. However, the process was very easy and the staff was so friendly and made me feel very comfortable. I thought it would be an all day event which I was prepared for. To my surprise a polite young man, I believe his name was Tyler, swabbed me and what I thought was going to take a few hours actually took less than a half an hour. The young lady who happens to be the coordinator of the Medical Assistants, Ana, was also very sweet, she assured me I would have my results within a couple of days. I did receive my results within two days. Great staff, friendly and helpful.

When we walked in we were greeted by the lady at front desk very nice…During wait time we got the paper work filled out, signed. Copies made,Helpful does her job well…(((Hugs))) to You…We did not wait no more than 15 minutes, 3 patience ahead of meGreat wait time…The nurse was Awesome, she did her job well…. loved her & also her personality…The ( doctor ) was Compassionate,Listened, even fixed what was wrong with my milligrams. Some other things tooo…went by the rules of the medicine books… I Respect him…I will tell you he went Above & Beyond for Me…Thank You❣️I hope that you guys get busywhen I need you I could walk in & be seen…. No waiting!!! J/K….

I’ve visited this place after an accident with a broken right shoulder for an emergency. I am right handed. I was in sever pain. The young woman at the front desk asked me to fill up the registration papers with a broken right shoulder that I could not move at all. I told her that it’s impossible that I write anything and asked her to fill them for me and she refused. The doctor service was okay although he gave me a referral for a hand specialist and not shoulder. Thanks a lot for the terrible emergency customer service guys.

My mom and I went there for a covid test. Worst experience I have ever had. Never met staff that was so incredibly rude and unprofessional before. My mom would try to ask questions because it was our first time here and they didn’t give her a second of their time. They treated her like a pest or some sort of inconvenience. So disorganized. Never in my entire life have I ever met health care staff that was so rude and unprofessional before. They said to fill out paper work to make things go faster. Our appointment was at 5:10 and it took almost an hour past our booked time for them to come out, our test was only done after the doctor came out but even he was incredibly rude and acted like we were nothing but mere inconveniences and not real patients that had real needs to be tended to. Absolutely no humility of patience. Never go here again. Waste of time.

This Urgent Care is WONDERFUL!!! Dr. Arnel and her staff are truly awesome. It’s a shame I couldn’t have them as my primary. Thankfully, at least they’re there when I can’t see my primary. I highly recommend them, regardless.

I had a very positive experience at the Davie UrgentMed. The staff is attentive and caring. And the Doctor and the Med assistant really listened to my complaints and addressed all of them. I came in with multiple health issues going on and was treated like family. When I went, there wasn’t a long wait which meant much needed antibiotics sooner than later. I was also surprised at all the different services they provided far and above cold and flue visits. Their prices are also quite reasonable and they have late hours too. Highly recommend to anyone in the area needing immediate medical attention. Many thanks to everyone at this UrgentMed.

I have been coming to this urgent Care for years. They always accommodate to my busy schedule and the staff is super professional and knowledgeable. The waiting period is not long and I always get the best care possible from their doctors and staff. I recommend it to everybody I know or those who need fast, reliable and good medical care.

The healthcare providers and front desk were nice and understandung.

I waited 3 hours for a COVID test and never even was able to get the test. My appointment was at 10am and I left at 1pm. The staff were extremely mean and it took took hour for them to even collect the paperwork. Their number wouldnt work so the only way to even let them know I was there for my appointment was to walk up to their door. They also said we had to use a video call for our appointments and then when we arrived they said they had never even heard of that. The information and communication was so lacking I couldnt believe how bad of an experience it was.

If youre looking for quick & rude service this is the place to go. The spanish front desk receptionist is absolutely a big turn off for the company. She speaks to people as if they are beneath her. Whether your interaction is in person or over the phone, she makes your encounter as if you are bothering her precious time. Not only has the receptionist done this to me, but Ive seen her speak to other customers the same way.. If you tell her about her attitude. She kindly gives you corporate information. In other words saying...Call them, they wont fire meAfter my visit with my doctor, which the doctors are always pleasant & precise. The doctors are the only reason I go to the location. They are the best in a quick situation.

I have gone to Urgent Med several times for issues I felt could not wait for my normal medical provider to fit me in. The staff were great. They were professional and thorough beyond what I expected. They treated my issues and explained what they were doing. I am really happy I gave Urgent Med the opportunity to care for me.

Johanny (the receptionist) is an absolute delight. I came in not knowing if my insurance would cover the visit, without my insurance card on me, and she was more than kind while helping me to figure it out. She went over all the costs, with and without my insurance, she even priced out the lab work for me that we assumed would need to be done. The nurse and doctor were both very sweet (can’t remember their names). They took their time and answered all of my questions while being friendly and personable. If I ever need to go to urgent care again I will be sure to go back to this location!!

I went there for a scuba diving physical exam. Every single one of the staff was so nice. They were extremely thorough with the testing and it was just a very pleasant visit there. Highly recommend this place if you ever need anything they offer. 😊

Waited a whole hour for a rapid test (even though I had a 10:00am appointment) and no one came to my car and no one answered the phone when I called 5 times. So I had to go in and ask how much longer I’d be waiting and she told me that I actually needed to move my car. Either do only walk-ins or only appointments. And if you’re going to book appointments you should be able to honor them. There’s no reason It’s 11:30 and I still haven’t had doctor or anyone that works there come up to me and either explain what’s going on or test me. Absolutely ridiculous.

Yesterday was the 2nd time I had reason to visit this urgent care facility and again I was more than satisfied and impressed ! The staff , from start to finish are without exception , friendly , caring and courteous . I only wish I could use them as my primary care , that would truly be the icing on the cake

The front staff and nurses are amazing! But the Doctors unfortunately not so much... I had to go in on two separate occasions, each time I had a different doctor. Neither gave me any attention or real information. Both times I left feeling totally ripped off..1st time I went in I had a skin irritation and was concerned I had caught a viral infection.... I see the doctor Oh you have a skin irritation? Yeah its probably this....* Doesnt even ask to look at the skin area *Just goes off of his assumption and passes me on....Then the second appointment.. All I needed was my test results.... But they Insisted... I make an appointment and come see the doctor Mota (I believe was his name).So I pay an additional $100 co-pay.... just to get my test result papers and get asked any questions?.... Doesnt explain anything to me... just puts on ME to ask HIM the right questions...Didnt even suggest a medication... it was only after I left and called back asking Hey dont I need an antibiotic or something?Oh yeah! Sure, Sure sorry about that.... will call it in now...I mean honestly.... I feel safer taking my car to the mechanic than I did taking myself here...I dont like make bad reviews. But come on... for the time & money I am spending in health insurance & copay... I expected better...

Best Urgent med I have ever been to. The office was just recently remodeled and looks beautiful. From what Ive noticed they are constantly expanding their capabilities, I just recently had an allergy test done here and was probably the least painful one Ive ever had. The staff here are extremely friendly and outgoing( and actually know what they are doing unlike some places Ive been to). Would recommend this office to anyone to anyone in a heartbeat!

Friendly front desk staff right as you enter and the nurse and doctor were both so great with my nervous doctor visit hating daughter. They made her smile when she has the flu. Would not recommend…doctor was very rude. I made a 330 appointment for a rapid Covid test, pre-checked in and arrived ten minutes early as instructed. When I arrived they asked that I wait outside and someone would come out to check me in. I waited in my car and another patient pulled up next to me. I patiently waited while they checked him in first. When the doctor finally came out he took care of the other patient and then walked away. I call out to him and stated that I was here first and in an aggressive tone he stated “this is not a drive through. You can’t drive up and get what you want.” I normally would respond or simply drive away but I was at his mercy,. I needed the test done as I was traveling internationally the following day. As a health care worker I can’t fathom someone treating a patient like this.

As someone who has worked front desk at medical offices for 5 years I must give credit where credit is due. I called today to see if they took my insurance (which i recently got) and isnt a very well known insurance. She took the time to answer all my questions about my insurance and give me recommendations. The lady was so sweet and kind! I wish I would have got her name. I wasnt able to schedule an appointment there, but will definitely recommend to my friends.

What a great experience. I came here about 20 minutes before they close at 9pm. The service was amazing from the front desk to the doctor (I believe here name was Selena) !!! I am very pleased with my service and will switch from MD Urgent Care to them. Thank you.

I waited over 2 hours for a COVID test even though I had an appointment. I was asked to wait in my car for the doctor to call me because without it, I couldn’t get the test. The doctor asked me 2 completely unrelated questions and spent about 50 seconds on the phone with me. Their website has the wrong address, and their system sent me a tele-health link where nobody ever showed up at the appointment time. Do yourselves a favor and go elsewhere unless you have time to waste. Silver lining is that at least the staff was nice.

Wait was a little bit more than expected but it was worth it. The Doctor explained everything very well, sent different exams to make sure everything was ok, and took his time to listen to my concerns and answer my questions. I will come back

I used to work here many years ago and the reason I fell in love with this place was because of the manager Christie Merrick she is kind loving generous and very compassionate. She loves her work and always makes it very easy to come to this place, she always makes you feel welcome and always takes care of you and makes sure that you know that you will always be taken care of every time you come back here. She made you as an employee want to help others and take care of the people who entered those doors. This is why I continue to come back here many years later even though I do not work here. I also am still in the medical field and I work for a private family. When I worked for other doctors offices and other organizations in the medical field I continued to send patients who didn’t feel comfortable at other practices to urgent med when they needed urgent care. I continuously sent them here because I know they will get compassionate caring folks to care for them with urgent med.

My girlfriend came here for flu and then after for productive cough. The sign in process was pretty standard, facility is clean, etc. but what we were both impressed with is the exceptional care of Dr Celina. She is very meticulous in her assessments , organized, and answers any /all questions. Follows up with patient and very personable. Shes an asset to this company and they would be wise to do whatever they need to keep her. Excellent!

Was sent to this location for a pre employment drug screen by my employer. The staff could not find my forms, they seemed confused on how to process my drug screen. After several visits in attempt on getting it completed, I finally got it done on my third visit. They do not take appointments for drug screens, so you have to walk in. I was the second person in the door at 9am and it still took an hour and a half to get a drug screen done! Staff was nice, but very disorganized.

I waited over 2 hours in the waiting area. Then once called to the back I had to wait additional 15 minutes until I decided to walk out and just go to ER. They show no sense of urgency at all. I would them no stars. Under staff they have more staff doing rapid covid test. I wouldn’t refer this place to anyone.

The staff was great during my time there. I give them nothing but high praise even though its not close to where I live I would go there again. To the young lady who drew my blood I apologize for not knowing you name but remember whatever your life goals are its best to die trying to achieve then to never trying at all.

My wife needed to see her PCP but they didn’t have an opening for another week. We walked into UrgentMed without an appointment. We were seen within an hours, in and out. Ali is as very nice, he is professional and has a passion to help others. Selena the PA was by far one of the nicest physicians we have EVER MET! She is personal and very knowledgeable. This is the BEST urgent care I have ever been to. I went in for a tetanus shot because of a dog scratch. I waited maybe 15 minutes before I was taken in the back. The doctor looked at the scratch and provided me with antibiotics. He asked many questions and seemed genuinely interested in everything that I had to say about what happened. The guy who administered the shot was very friendly. I am petrified of needles and he made me feel very at ease. No other person has ever made me feel at ease over a shot. The staff was the friendliest and most professional staff I have ever had the pleasure of doing business with. I had questions about the initial paperwork and the front desk clerk explained everything to me. I will definitely be going to this urgent care from now on.

The staff was very courteous and the medical personnel was extremely prepared and friendly. I was in and out in less than 2 hours, which included a visit and a blood drawing. The price was very fair considering i was paying out pocket and they made sure i paid the least and gave me a coupon for the medication.

My appointment is scheduled for 10:15am. I call in to let them know Im here, a woman named Emily answer the phone and tells me no problem someone will be out there to assist you. An hour passes by and I still have not been assisted. I call in again speak with Emily and express how Ive been waiting patiently and when will someone assist me. She tells me someone will be there shortly and hangs up on me. I call again she had someone else answer the phone. I work in a Healthcare profession and this is not how we deal with patients. Unprofessional

I really like this place. All the personal was kind and efficient. My daughter and I felt safe and well cared. The wait is not long for an urgent care. I definitely recommend it

My experience was really bad and I witnessed other people being mistreated as well. This people are very unprofessional, I went for a Covid test and after a week (7days) did not get my results, I called manny times and nobody ever pick up the phone, I left voicemails and never got a call back. My family went to another urgent care to get tested 4days after I did and they already got they results by email. I went personally, to the office to talk to an actual person that can give me an explanation about my results and gave me a letter with false information and made me wait more than an hour with my two kids outside and never got my results. Jennifer is very unprofessional, she thinks she is dealing with her neighbor or having an block argument instead of treating people with respect like patients, I saw her treating another lady with really bad attitude, that asked her how long more she had to wait, instead of just giving the poor woman an idea…They are very unprofessional, they don’t care about their patients, nobody ever answers the phone or calls you back, even when their answer machine says “leave your message and WE WILL CALL YOU BACK IN 30 MINUTES!!! . It’s more than a week and still don’t have my Covid test, they have bad attitude and they are rude, and I’m a very patient person, but this was too much. Jennifer said I’ll be getting my results tomorrow by email, if not I will keep writing bad reviews until I get my results that I paid almost $300 for an I can believe I still don’t have. By the time I get my results I probably won’t have Covid anymore.They lock their door at 6pm even when they’re open until 9pm and people have to wait outside more than 30 minutes until someone comes to open the door, since I was outside waiting for more than an hour, an old man left before someone even came outside to open the door for him… he waited around 30 minutes and then left. Nobody ever came to talk to him.I don’t recommend this place to anybody, please go to any other urgent care. They don’t care for the people

The absolute worst staff! Don’t waste your time going here. The front desk staff is extremely rude!! Let’s keep in mind this is a urgent care and the staff should be trained and held to a standard of professional and compassion as people who are visiting this office are ill and seeking medical attention.

Great clean facility and nice friendly and helpful staff, Drs and nurses. One bad thing was, I made an apt for 11:50 am. i got there at 11:45. I checked in but all of the info I gave them online I had to fill out AGAIN. They said the systems were not connected in that way. So whats the point in adding all my personal info, insurance and etc if I just have to fill it out again?

Got a nasty cut on my hand. called urgent med and they took me right in. All of the staff were very friendly and the doctor did a fantastic job if stitching me up. Very pleased with this placee.

The Physician Assistant Guillermo Granados is an excellent Healthcare provider! He explains the reasons why I was feeling unwell and what the prescribed medications are for. Hes highly professional, very competent, educates me on a healthy lifestyle/diet, and most specially caring and compassionate. I very much trust his expertise and highly recommend this clinic.

It’s was very nice and professional. I went for a blood pressure check and the PA, Gabriel was very attentive, present, knowledgeable as well as professional. My blood pressure was good. Clean clinic and happy staff. I would highly recommend.

They never answer the phone. We take covid-19 test after 3 days waiting for the appointment and took 2 hours for someone took the samples and nobody except us were waiting to do the test. The worst is that after 4 days we still waiting for the results. The free PCR test from broward County are faster and more efficient than this place. I cannot imagine the waiting time or the bad diagnosis if I have to use the urgent care services from this place.Also the front desk staff are not friendly at all.

A waste of time and money....UrgentMed Davie:This used to be a great place to get fast, reliable and AFFORDABLE medical service. Ive been going here for over 10 years.During my last visit, I waited 2 hours for a 5 minute PA consultation and was told that water and aspirin should address my ENT infection. If it didnt, I was to come back in 3 days for an antibiotics script. I asked if I could get the script then since that has always been what was prescribed by them for this issue and was refused. So I call back 3 days later now with a much worse throat infection to request the antibiotics script be sent to my pharmacy to find out that can only be done if I come in and pay another copay...to address the exact same issue.The prior medical issue I had was treated the same way at UrgentMed Plantation:1) told that my body would naturally heal my spider bite and to come back in a few days if it gets worse2) Of course, the bite/infection gets works, I go back, pay another co-pay, and only then do I get the script that I would argue should have been given on the first visit.Additionally, in both cases, there was no thorough investigation of the issue. For the ENT issue, peered into my ear and mouth. For the bite, the doctor never got closer than 3-5 feet to look at the infected area.UrgentMed used to be a GREAT service provider. Based on my last two visits, it feels like the goal is to not address issues on the first visit to ensure you come back for a second. Very unfortunate.

Went with my family to get Covid -19 tested. The person who completed the test was amazing (name Ali if not mistaken).Only positive as we were tested mid July called after 8 days for results with no call back. Message says they will call you back 24 hours not true. Have called again and finally spoke to someone who indicated results can not be located by lab they would call me back. Of course no one called us. Which means we will need to be retested. With no other justification.This is an issue even more as we have no insurance and paid out of pocket. My husband job is not believing us and asking for proof.

Covid driven ONLY - terrible place. I went there yesterday after a persistent cough was getting worse. I was left on hold in the parking lot for over 20 min. When an employee walked out to assist someone else who pulled up after me, I asked about why my call was not being answered. He went in and came out and said they have no one on hold. I showed him my phone. He left and came back. Had me call again. Waited and then spoke with a nurse. Who said I needed to make an appointment to get a covid test before I could be seen. Apparently they only do covid testing. Poor service and absolutely not caring about anything else. I went to Baptist Urgent Care and they did test me as part of my visit. My diagnosis - bronchitis!

We used urgentmed when my daughter was running a high fever. They welcomed us and saw us immediately. The doctor made us feel very comfortable and listened to all our concerns. Overall was a great experience.

I realize the care specialist are under extreme preasure and overwhelmed, but there is no need for such horrible attitudes and sacraism. I just spoke with a specialist 1/4/22 3:08pm and she was extremely sacrastic and rude. My question, Can you please tell me how quickly results are returning? I am not asking about a pending test, I am referring to scheduling and taking a test. Her response, I know youre not asking about a pending test, because you havent taken a test. and the attitude continued...

I went here two times within a two week period. First on 11/07/2012 and then on 11/16/2012. What I like about this facility was how knowledgeable and professional the staff was. This made a routine check up transition very well. What I didnt like was the waiting times and the location of this facility. My first visit, I waited about 15 minutes. My second visit I waited 1 hour and 20 minutes. Im guessing it depends on what time of the day and which day of the week you go.One thing I noticed was that this place is a little shady at night. Not necessarily a bad location, just lack of lighting made it feel more weird than it should have. Having insurance might be a plus, but the first time I went, the receptionist told me that I would have a $0 copay. Turned out she was wrong. Got a bill for $125 in the mail a week later. Just make sure before you leave that you confirm that the copay is what they tell you it is.I would come here again, probably not for routine check ups, but for something more urgent.EDIT 12/07/2012- received 2 bills for $125, they do in fact charge you for a follow up visit, that was clearly explained that it was covered under the first visits copay. Under-trained and incompetent staff (not the doctors/nurses/p.a.s) completely ruin this facility. Again, definitely make sure they write down in your file what your copay is. Not recommended unless its a true emergency

I am very disappointed with the lack of organization and rude customer service from this place. I made an appointment for my father online for telemedicine and when the time comes and he tried to access his appointment, no only the system showed that there were not upcoming appointments for him (and this is after he received online confirmation) , he couldnt be seen by a doctor as he need it. After my stepdaughter call by mistake to the Plantation facility, the person of the staff on the phone treated her very rude, and she was only helping my dad. She explained the situation, and no matter the facts she exposed, the guy who was on the phone was insistant, yelling at her that my father wont have to show up to the clinic because the Dr. wont see him. I was on the other line listening the disrespectful way that this health care professional was treating my family. Never again with this place, something so simple as a telemedicine appointment they turn it into a nightmare. There is not excuse to have someone at the front desk misstreating the patients in this way. I dont recommend this place at all.

I walked in to UrgentMed with symptoms of the flu. I didnt have to wait long in the waiting room which was great because I felt awful and really wanted nothing more than to be home in bed. The two doctors I saw were both helpful, knowledgeable, and professional. They took their time evaluating my symptoms and quickly diagnosed me. They prescribed Tamiflu and even gave me a coupon to bring the cost of the prescription down as I was a self paying client without insurance. I am so happy I went to UrgentMed because within 36 hours of going I went from feeling like I was slowly dying to feeling like a human being again! Although I hope I dont get sick again anytime soon, if I do UrgentMed will definitely be my go to urgent care!

I went here following an allergic reaction. The doctor was great, saw me immediately and gave me a shot to reduce the symptoms. I was disappointed in their knowledge/procedures for medical insurance billing. I was charged 3xs the amount I was supposed to pay because of my insurance( I visit urgent cares frequently for an unknown allergy). I tired fighting it on the spot and the next day, ultimately I had to wait over 2 weeks to get my refund after insurance cleared it up. For that, I will probably avoid this one in the future.

I did not have to wait an extended amount of time. They honored my appointment time even though there were others (walk ins) there before me. Everyone was pleasant and courteous.

I made an appoint at this urgent care because in their website it offered same day results, I needed that to finalize my travel plans, when I get there, I was informed the results would not be in until tuesday. This seems to be a common practice. Another couple that was there had the same experience.

Thank you for all your help today! I brought my elderly parents to get the vaccine and everyone was so helpful and patient and kind. The wait was not very long and everyone was courteous and caring. We all appreciated it very much!

I recently & for the first time visited to Urgent Med for an employment exam. The staff was nice & the office with very quiet & clean.

I really think they are so wonderful at this facility. Theyre very efficient the doctor or the PA that you see is just wonderful and very very thorough in their assessment and their explanation of your problem and a course and a plant to improve. i cant imagine a better urgent care to go to

With the exception of the doctor and guy who took our samples, it probably would have been a good experience. HOWEVER, first we got there and waited 20 minutes outside. We were there for COVID tests. I called from the parking lot and didnt get an answer so we flagged down the guy doing the tests. He doesnt know who we are even though we had an appointment. There were 3 of us, he brought 2 medical releases. As he took each sample, he did not confirm our names, birth dates, anything so there was no way to know which sample was which. I finally asked him, dont you need my name? Then he goes to my husband takes his sample, again without confirming his name and when my husband asked, he said yeah youre SD and we were like NO!! Hes JD, Im SD. We are 90% sure they mixed up our tests since the one with symptoms had a negative test and the one with no symptoms had the positive test. Then, our sons test didnt even have a name. Again, he didnt ask his name. We still havent gotten those results and have zero idea if they were labeled properly. WHen the doctor called to give us the results, we tried to tell him about our experience and that we thought there might have been a mix-up and his response was we do hundreds of these tests and youre the first one to complain WHAT??? he showed zero lack of concern in the sample collection practices or our experience. He flat did not care. I would not recommend going here EVER. Ive been to the plantation office and it was much nicer and more professional.Two stars because the office staff is nice and helpful. The rest is just a horrible experience.

Answered the phone with another patient in front of them and refused to tell me what the copay would be because the patient was there. How do you expect people to come if you can’t tell them there copay we aren’t made out of money. I need to know what I’m walking into before wasting my time because I can’t afford it. Then she hung the phone up great customer service!

Fast and courteous, the only problem was that they lost my husbands blood, and now we have to go back and get him the blood again.Besides this the diagnosis and treatment had been working for Pneumonia.Yesterday night not so good, a lot of coughing.

I had to get a physical for a work clearance and was able to be seen without any issues. I tried to do the same at the Family Practice at Nova and it was an awful experience there. I was able to be helped by the Staff at UrgentMed and everything went smoothly.

What a scam! I wasnt even seen by a doctor. I waited for two hours AFTER the nurse brought me back to a room. I heard the staff talking about what I had going on, so I came out and got furious for violating my privacy rights and then I found out the doctor had already gone home (who was in when I walked in 2 hours prior!) and that only a clearly dumb nurse practitioner was there. I walked out! Only to be charged (which I never got a bill for - and now Im getting collections calls over $135) Im a doctor myself and would have paid this bill if I ever got it just to not deal with the situation.But this place is a money making SCAM! I didnt care to review this place but after all the annoying collections cost, I will do myself no one else gets caught in this scam. Its a shame to the medical profession and a shame to all healthcare professionals alike.

Great place. High qualified doctor. We did school physicals for children there. The personnel did everything fast (20-30 minutes for two children) and provided service on the high level.

I was referred to them by a friend whom had the antibody test for Covid, I I placed a call in and they were very happy to assist me and my partner with testing. Very professional and attentive staff. Thank you again for your services.

Worst place ever looking to get a simple check up want to do 50 different things just so they call bill the insurance

Service was decent but the aftermath was the worst. I was seen at this location back in 8/2015 but the billing office overcharged me and I have yet to be reimbursed. I was told to go to the main location on Clearly blvd because they are the only people that can assist with it. Then I was helped by someone who told me to expect a check in the mail in the next month which I have yet to received. I called to follow up today that employee is no longer on staff and I am hearing about it on 12/2015. My insurance company has a 90 day window for reimbursement which I expressed to this company and they said would take care of it and failed so now I have lost $150. I will never return here again. University Hospital has much better service.

Tried to come here for covid testing. They had me book an appointment online and said they would see me - I confirmed this by calling them. They told me the call would be converted to an online tele Med visit and then you can come in the next day. I instead received a message that cancelled my appointment for tomorrow and instead rebooked it for almost a week from the original date! What kind of practice is that? If I have symptoms why would I want to be unknowingly contagious for a week. I’m getting really annoyed by these urgent care clinics being designated testing sites but not being able to manage capacity.

Quick service and everyone is very nice. Check in process is efficient as well. PA-C Guillermo Granados was very nice and was able to give me a treatment for my issue.

Was taken care of immediately, and scheduling was not a hassle. They work with your schedule if you are a full time worker, like myself

Very pleased with the medical care. Dr Mota took urine sample and the diagnosis was kidney stone. He wrote a prescription for antibiotic and gave me suggestions for hydration. I’m grateful that my local UrgentMed was there on a Saturday. Thanks

Drs.at this Urgent Care have always been attentive to the patients health concerns. They listen and care to do all they can to help the patient return to good health. I Greatly recomend anyone to go to urgent care on University and Nova for health care that always makes you feel like you are a human being and not just a number. God Bless this Urgent care and all their staff from the lowest employee to the owner. Cant say enough about this place. The staff are always so nice, Ive been a few times for emergencies, but, the service and care is so good that Im going to be making them my primary care! Highly reccomend! ❤
