Clinica Sierra Vista - West Shaw Community Health Center

This place I would stay away from. The Nurse practitioner and doctor do not care about you. The nurses and the front staff are okay and try at least but other than that they misdiagnose and can’t find what is truly wrong with you also l don’t know who they have to answer to what doctor over sees the nurse practitioner and ma or nurses but if it was their own family member or mom or someone close to them that they loved being hurt with all the gaslighting they do they would be outraged. I know most are there for a paycheck and a vacation after someone gets a big procedure and not for the patient and giving them the best medical care that they can. There are good doctors out there please go elsewhere and find him/her Because this place is not it. I am sure they will get better with enough complaints from patients because I cant be the only person to experience this at this location.

Incompetent staff that do not know what they are doing. They are juat there for the pay. What happened to caring staff and quality services. Very disappointed that I have waited 3 months for an auth and referral that was urgent.

Horrible Drs at this location. They dont care and constantly leave. Avoid Tang and Hagan, they couldnt be colder or care less. They dont listen and ignore questions. Dont expect anything to be documented so you have to go over your entire life story every single visit.The nurses and front desk are excellent.

While I was a patient of Logan before his retirement, there was a serious backlog. The nurses were awesome though. Now, after Logan’s retirement, there is a quicker visit time. As a lot of patients were lost, (I assume), when they were trying to find a new doc to replace him. Just saw new doc. Short, Asian, older woman. She wasn’t even … ugh. Morta hasn’t left a great impression. Very cold, not so helpful - my memory isn’t as well as before due to pain and previous medication trial an error to figure out what works for me. And she didn’t seem to care or understand. I’m having weight loss surgery due to injury causing weight gain. I said I need to have my checklist of procedures done before the surgery as Logan didn’t do well last time in getting them done in time. My insurance is not one I can call docs up an schedule. I must be referred. This was an issue w him then and it seems to be one now.

Thee worst in every aspect of the business. Do not choose this place because you will be sorry.

I had a great time at here, and I was a walk-in! I don’t see why this place has such a low rating but everyone’s different. If you plan on walking in, you should come as soon as they open. They saw me in less than 15 minutes, the only part that took awhile was waiting for the doctor. However, the nurse and doctor was so amazing, I believe the doctor’s name is Denise. Everyone passing by was sweet and those who helped me were very helpful and informational. Out of all the horrible clinics I’ve gone to, I’d rather travel here instead. The facilities were clean and tidy, I just found it a bit strange that the vitals section was a small corner (not even a room) and there was only one. I was gone an hour later, smoothest visit ever and I didn’t even have an appointment. Oh and they even gave me a quick and easy flu shot! Thanks!

Worst clinic ever! They never answer their phones, they say they take walk-ins and when you show up they say they can’t see you that day. If you try and schedule an appointment they will give you one in 3 months. If you need labs done regularly, they won’t schedule you until like 6 months or a year after. Show up even a few minutes late and you’re not getting seen at all until after 3 months or so. When I had Dr. Logan, he would always schedule my labs and appointments fast and would always listen to any concerns I might have, but since I got switched to a nurse practitioner, she is a different story 😡. Ive been having really bad stomach pain for a year already and I haven’t been treated, she just looks at you and says it’s nothing. I’m in the process of changing my health care insurance so I can go to a different clinic.

A lot better then some of the other Sierra Vista clinics throughout the city. The people here are trying so hard to do their jobs. For the most part they are succeeding. Ive got so many issues that I, often, dont know which one will get me seen asap. Because were asked to tell them, over the phone, what reason or reasons we want an appointment I find it hard to explain myself. The procedure s used for classifying is a bit strange to me sometimes. So, I think I would use a different method to classify patients. I worked in the medical field, both front and back office for about 6 years in the 80s so I only know how I would want rto be treated. Thank you to everyone there and Happy Holidays.To everyone new and are going to b patients here. Because we are in such terrible times, I am praying that every time I go there I find the same good people, because that tells me they are not sick and can help me with my illnesss and in return Ill pray for all essential workers at this Drs office and the others that do so much for us, risking their lives in the process. As much as this place gets bad reviews, it isn’t half bad. It’s expected to wait about 45 minutes to an hour here. Depending on what you’re coming for, walk-ins are hard to get. I come here a lot for my daughter and for myself to see our family practitioner. I haven’t had any issues aside the wait and appointment dates.Environment wise, the place is very clean. Staff can be very friendly and on some days can be extremely rude. I give this place 4 stars only because they accept most Medi-Cal and have a variety of doctors and nurses. There are other Clinica Sierra’s in town but since this is close by where I live I prefer here the most. Just don’t expect this place to be a 5 Star restaurant guys.

This clinic is the worst on earth... they cancel appointments, talk so fast on phone you cannot understand what they say, only make out cancel and call back to reschedule. well they never, EVER answer the phone, Ive called the very first minute they open, all morning, all afternoon and they never ever answer... I am reporting them to the corporate office, they are not a good clinic. The employees promise you the world to help you and do not follow through. REPORT THEM TO CORPORATE, THEY SHOULD CLOSED DOWN OR CHANGE THEIR OPERATIONS !!!!! THEY DESERVE A ZERO !!

This is hands down...the worst clinic Ive ever been to. I have waited MONTHS for Dr. Logan and his staff to help me and they never bothered doing the the simplest of things like reach out to the lab to get my results. They told me on too many occasion they will personally see to my concern and it wasnt until I said I was getting a lawyer and called The Corporate Quality Control office that I got someone who is trying to help.

This clinic is a joke! I have asthma needed a refill for an EMERGENCY INHALER and they wait till im completely out of my medicine to tell me i need to see a doctor again even though id just seen the dr 3 months aho! Oh but they dont direct communicate with me they tell the pharmacy? I mean how lame! Then they schedule an appointment 2 months out! Like no sense of urgency at all! Fresno is in the middle of several weeks of unhealthy air but they couldnt care less to show any urgency to just do a refill for a medication ive been taking for 30 years that allows me to BREATHE! I’ll never go back and if you value your life you wont either!

They dont take walk ins. For appointment the wait is very long. Dmv is faster. I cannot get my asthma inhaler refilled. When you call they dont answer the phone or it is a very long wait. They are always overbooked on appointments they say they have no appointment available. Its impossible to get an appointment for routine care.

Do not take walk ins! Do not answer your calls to make an appointment! The people up front are very rude and snobby & try to be little you! Have to change my PC Dr because this is the worst Dr office I been to! Where the no star at though!? Also! When I was pregnant, my OB told me to go to my PC Dr to get my blood tested for my iron asap. Like sometime that week I needed it done, this lady gave me a day to go in AFTER my due date!! Which was months later!! After I even explained to her that I needed it asap bc my OB said my iron was so low, that there was a chance of me losing too much blood when I had my baby and there could have been a chance of me not making it a couple weeks after delivery. She still gave me a later date, and refused to see me as OB said was fit. I had to go to the hospital to get a blood transfusion! Again, horrible place! Thats why they never have patients in there, yet they never have time to schedule for an appt? Horrible!!! You have no patients, your service sucks, and you need to be closed down!!

Like others mentioned, I also tried to do a walk-in and I was told they dont accept walk-ins. I asked to get scheduled and she barely even looked at her computer screen and gave me a date for over a month away....... umm....... no thank you. Also if you EVER try to call their office, gooood luck, Ive called DOZENS of times and they answered the phone ONCE!! yes once!! I even called one time while watching them from outside their window as I waited for my mom to finish up next door. This location needs some serious help. I am already trying to change my insurance so I can go elsewhere.

Hate this place, dr Logan should retire. No on calls back when messages are left, it took over a year to get my mom a wheelchair, because dr. Logan couldnt figure out how to do the paperwork right. The pharmacy always tells me they cant refill because the clinic hasnt returned their calls. Took me 2months to get her meds filled after I called a supervisor and yelled. The only reason I havent taken my mom anywhere else is because she is to old and sick to restart a new dr. I do like the clinic in millbrook, but the one on w, shaw and dr. Logan is horrible.

After being released from a mental health hospital, I tried setting up an appointment for my antidepressants. They were unable to make an appointment until 2 weeks after I would run out of my meds, and they said I could do a walk in. I walk in and was refused service because, We dont do walk-ins for refills. If I end up killing myself, expect this to be used as evidence for a lawsuit on your shady asses.Heres some advice if youre considering this place...GO ANYWHERE ELSE. Death offers better service.

I feel like a damn fool for going back to this clinic, they canceled my first two appointments for unknown reasons. They never answer the phone when you call, and when I go to the office to refill my prescription, they act like they dont know me. Its embarrassing that I have to go to the E.R. to see a Doctor and get my prescription refilled. Ive had It with this clinic, never going back here again.

I went as a walkin to see psych/shrink urgent. The nurses called me within 30 minutes and made appointment with psych following week. They were very helpful and polite. I went 4 different other clinic sierra vista were booked and not helpful

Dr Logan has been taking excellent, thorough care of me. I sometimes have to wait a while at my appointments but that is because he spends time with his patients and talks about my needs. He is excellent.

A different doctor almost every time I go. Ive been a patient for years! One of their male doctors (who was covering from a different fresno location) was so unprofessional one time I couldnt believe it. He would rather state all his qualifications to you rather than ask more about your health problem. The dr I saw before him had given me 4 referrals to specialists. 3 out of 4 had problems which is why I was back. He decided my back was fine and that I couldnt possibly have nerve pain without a nerve conduction test. He actually walked out and refused to help me. Well 10 months later Ive been in pain management (the one referal I actually got) tried 2 pain injections that didnt work more than 12-24 hours and have been told I need surgery and that my nerve has been VERY irritated for a VERY VERY long time. DO NOT GO HERE IF YOUR IN PAIN!! They wont help! Better off going to ER. I still havent got my other referrals fixed after even crying to the referal guy in person about my pain and grand mal seizures. they are my primary DONT CARE!!

I had an appointment at 11:00 am. It is 11:54 am and I am still waiting to be called back. The office is not full with patients. I asked the medical assistant in front, if this was typical of wait times. She states that it was typical for the doctor at this site to get behind I asked her what was the reason for this and she seemed bothered that I was asking. I was asking politley and wanted to decipher whether there is an issue with influx of new patients or is the care of service of patients just slow? My question was valid and so are my concerns but the attitude I recieved for asking questions seems defensive. I also obeerved that a security guard walks these premises .perhaps, the population that is served here is underpreeentef and vulnerable poloulations. Hence, the ghetto or porr people of this community. Does that make it okay to get treated any different? Like we are all criminals? This is my second office visit and I have not seen anyone acting threatening. If anything, the receptionist here seems to need to take an empathy class because he people skills and lack of customer service professionalism is ghetto. Get it together because this community is what gives you job security. Nothing more and nothing less.

I did a walk in into the clinic and was told that no walk ins were accepted. The clerks told me the next available appoint was month from that day. The lobby was pretty empty and they did not even bother to ask what i came in for. I was thinking about transferring clinics to this location but after this i am never coming back here again!

Best service very good doctors and nurses, but out in office woman working very unprofessional.even if you have an appointment she let you in doctors office when ever she want not you.some time you have to wait 3-4 hours, some time she takes walk-in before your appointment.

Please read this review if your Children are important to you.Sorry there is some mispeling.I usally dont go in the back but I took my Son to his so called DR.MRS. TONYA BRYANT he just turned 18 but looks like a grown man. Any how cancer in the bone run in our family from both sides and his knee has been hurting for some time and heart problems also run big in our family maybe its acid reflix but you cant over look these kinda things and this Dr. Just wantes to prescribe him pills for inflamation which agravates his stomach and axid reflex and she tells him to lose weight she acts like he is over 200 lbs .I asked her for some refferals and for an xray which she is not paying for and for some reason acts like she is. She said ok ill give you what you want but if you want my opinion I said sure just to be courius and she said there are people with more serious conditions and that we might be taking up there time or spots HOW Dare her insult us like that . Any how she talked to my son like he was mentally challaged and rolled her eyes and spoke sacasticlly slow and in a low voice and I specialize in working with Adults with disabilities and I would never talk to them in that manner. I pay for our insurance and co-payments my grandaughter will soon have a new peditrician because I believe she has lost her self respect in treating her patients with morals and respect... but any how one of the best Drs there is DR.JOHN LOGAN he is GREAT..and due to him being on vacation my Son missed out and had to see her 😠

No sense of urgency when it comes to scheduling appointments. the office is dead silent all the time and they expect you to come early.

Make you come in early just to make you wait. Refer you to the walk in clinic because the one physician they have is over booked with appointments. I have Diabetic Mellitus with foot infection and they made me wait a month and a half for an appointment. Then made me wait two hours before I walked out.

I like Dr. Logan, but I called with suspected kidney infection, on April 1st and they offered me an appt. in May. Or I could walk in and wait for who knows how long, or go to emergency room. Thats not very good.

My kids go here and have had the best care and very friendly staff. Always clean and efficient when we have visited. The staff always makes sure we know what is going on and answers any questions or concerns i have had.

I hate even giving a 1 cause they dont deserve that it is always well after a hour from ur appointment time before called even if u let them know ur on a schedule like they should be I never get to see the dr cause it is well over an hour after appointment time an I have other appointments i have to make it to like my moms cancer dr my appointment here was for 12:00 today it is 12:55 an still waiting this place sucks they say they will call with an appointment an after a year of not hearing from them i call in an they say there is nothing available its like they just hire people off the street who have no experience what so ever.

Called clinica Sierra vista to get some information weeks ago the receptionist did not respond back or email me I don’t have a name so that I can reference to because they have so many people so I called one more time and I spoke to liliana and to start here customer service was wonderful she was determined to help me with my situation the five star that I’m giving them is for liliana thank you
