Dr. Yan is truly exceptional. Throughout my fertility journey, she has been more than just a doctor; she has been someone I can rely on emotionally, thanks to her kindness and extensive experience. She is incredibly knowledgeable and consistently provides me with clear, step-by-step goals and plans. As a result, I dont just feel better after her sessions—I see real improvements in my bloodwork and ultrasound results. Her acupuncture technique is also remarkable. I have seen other acupuncturists before, but she is by far the most gentle. Even though I am very sensitive to pain, I feel completely comfortable during my acupuncture sessions with her. The front desk staff are also super friendly. Overall, this practice and Dr. Yan have exceeded my expectations, and I would highly recommend her, especially in the area of fertility.

My husband and I are forever grateful for the care and treatment provided by Yan and her staffs.After reading many good reviews, I decided to visit Yan’s clinic when I failed my 8th retrieval and still had no normal embryo for transfer, and that was the best decision we made in our fertility journey. Finding Dr. Yan and her team have been truly one of the BEST things I could have been blessed with at this time in my life. I was diagnosed with a painful neuromuscular disorder after egg freezing. I have been seeing Dr. Yan weekly for two months for bad allergies and asthma. With a combination of herbs and acupuncture, my symptoms have almost disappeared! Dr. Yan is awesome. I had treatment for multiple symptoms and medical conditions including perimenopause, pain, mental clarity, emotional distress, mood swings, sleep, etc., the list is endless on the amount of treatments I’ve received. I have bulging disc in my neck and had a flare up of pain that lasted for 4 weeks. I started to take anti inflammatory over that time to reduce the pain and it causes major side effects such as tinnitus dizziness and nausea. I went to the pain management doctor that my orthopedic surgeon recommended and offered me an epidural shot or a different type of anti inflammatory medication. I knew that I had taken to much and so I decided tk think about it and not take anything. Over that weekend I spoke to a friend that recommended acupuncture. I found Dr Yan and she has been a god sent to me. I have not taken any medication in 7 days and all of my symptoms have disappeared. After my 3rd treatment I have been healed. I am so surprised that these Tiny needles that have no pain has caused healing in my body that medicine could not. The office is clean, the staff is efficient, and knows their stuff. Just trust the process and listen to them. After 3 sessions you will see results.

Dr. Zhang is awesome! Always found relief from back pains and even lingering symptoms from coughing. I am not a fan of needles but it works and Yan is very good at what she does. Staffs are friendly and the facility is easy to get to.

Dr. Zhang did what PT, steroid injection and medication could not - eliminate my pain. I was suffering from severe pain from pinched nerves in my neck and lower back pain for over a year. Due to osteoporosis surgery isnt an option, my team of physical therapists couldn’t help and discontinued treatment, and, due to my Type II diabetes, I was unable to take advantage of the pain management that was offered (steroids are known to raise blood sugar levels). I was miserable and depressed. Fast forward to 2 months ago when, at the recommendation of a friend, I scheduled an appointment with Dr. Zhang. After only a few sessions, I was pain free (98% of the time) and rediscovered the joy of walking and standing without debilitating pain. I am no longer an invalid! At each session Dr. Zhang carefully listens to you and directs her treatment accordingly. Her staff is both amenable and respectful and the office is pleasant and very clean. Dr. Yan Zhang is the best! She is professional, her office is clean, and her treatment with the herbs worked really well. I first came to her for sleeping problems, which I had for years. Within the 1st week of treatment, I could actually FALL asleep. I continued my treatment with her, and within a couple of months, I could feel a huge improvement in my health. This is one of the best acupuncture offices that I’ve ever been and the staff is really friendly. Dr. Zhang has a very warm personality with professional approach in treatments. I was treated by her with my weight gain problem since i gave birth to my children. I had extreme elbow (tennis elbow) and shoulder pain and decided to call Dr. Yan Zhang. She took my insurance information, called the insurance company and had me come in later that evening. Her office is well organized, CLEAN and she has a fantastic staff. She met with me on time, asked me several questions and began the acupuncture treatment. Within minutes my elbow and shoulder pain were gone and I had pain free movements. Three weeks later, I have great range of motion with a little soreness (expected) and feel 150% better. Dr. Zhang is incredible and knowledgeable. I had been suffering skin hives for more than a half year. I cant go to sleep without Zyrtec. After dr. Zhang gave me acupuncture twice and I took her medicine for two weeks, I felt the difference and started not to need any Zyrtec to manage the hives. And After 2 months the hives were completely gone. My gastro recommended acupuncture for GI problems and related low back pain. Dr Yan has helped me tremendously - she is very knowledgeable and compassionate and listens intently to her patients. I tried an acupuncturist in Chinatown in Manhattan but Dr Yan is more skilled and also treats with herbs. Coincidentally she is treating my Menieres disease and has reduced the tinnitus/ringing in my ear.

Yan is amazing! I went to her to try and relax while I was getting ready to start IVF. Dr.Yan Zhang is an excellent professional licensed acupuncturist who is committed to the well-being of her patients. I have been going to Dr. Zhang to treat my alopecia (stressed induced balding) for a few months and have seen more results here than over 1 year at the dermatologist! I basically had no feeling on my arm and after only 6 sessions i had 80% feeling back to my arm. I always believed in Eastern Medicine and Dr. Zhang knows what she is doing. I first visited Acupuncture by Yan as a sceptic, but with such back pain that I figured Id give it a chance - theres only so long you can go to PT and/or take OTC or prescription pain medicine. Dr. Yan Zhangs practice is outstanding on 3 levels. First, customer service. Every staff member is incredibly efficient, helpful, and respectful. The practice has a warm, authentic, yet professional environment. This leads to the second comment - Dr. Yan Zhangs bedside manor. Dr. Zhang is attentive, compassionate, and truly listens to her patients concerns and needs. Dr. Zhang will suggest treatment based on her expertise but not force a client to do anything they are not comfortable, but rather jointly create a treatment plan. I dont usually do reviews but in this case I needed to share my remarkable experience.I had been seeing Yan for my high blood pressure and she has helped me with that.In early December, she was checking my pluse and noticed an irregular heart beat. She suggested I see my cardiologist. He confirmed I had afibrillation with an ekg right in the office. The next time I saw Yan, I told her and she said she would start treatment for it. She continued the treatment for 4-5 sessions after which she said the heartbeat was normal. This was confirmed independently as my cardiologist recommented I wear a Holter monitor for 4 days! The result from that was no afib recorded for 4 days.When I told my cardiologist about Yan, he was quite impressed.

After having rear ending bad car accident on 495 LIE I was having severe pain because of neck and lower back herniated discs. I could not sleep for months! Friendly and knowledgeable. Dr. Yan was amazing. I wasnt skeptical going in, I was more excited to try something to relieve my knee pain. I started seeing Dr. Yan Zhang on June 10, 2021. I wanted to switch acupuncturist after my 5th failed IVF (2 failed IUI prior to that) in the past 3 years. I feel Yan saved my life. I had been sick with a virus, with unremitting fevers for 10 days, and in a weakened state when I reached out to her. She listened carefully to my complaints, and knew just what to do. She treated me with Chinese herbs and within 3 days I was free of the fevers. In the following 3 weeks, she successfully addressed all of the complications from this infection: nausea, fatigue, dizziness and night sweats. I highly recommend Dr. Zhang! I injured my shoulder and was unable to lift my arm. By the time I finished my first acupuncture session, I was able to fully rotate my shoulder. An orthopedic surgeon recommended physical therapy and an anti-inflammatory drug, but I did not need these due to two acupuncture sessions with Dr. Zhang. I had Lung bronchiectasis for so many years, cough phlegm all the time, sometimes even cough blood, and I went to colombia university specialist to get the treatment, but not get better. So I look for chinese medicine treatment, Dr Zhang, Yan is taking care of me, I got acupuncture and herb every week, after 1 month treatment, I feel much better, the phlegm gets less and breath is better, And the spirit is also getting better. SHe is a very responsible doctor to take care of her patients. and also has a lot of experience on the chinese medicine. My mom and I had been going to Dr. Yan Zhang before the pandemic. She is the most dedicated acupuncture doctor we had seen. Very knowledgeable and friendly. My mom had lymphedema for more than 20 years. One of her leg is constantly swollen and gets infections very frequently. We had been to other acupuncture doctors and other specialists. None of them was able to help. My moms leg always swells back after a week.Until we were introduced to Dr. Zhang. After just several treatments, my moms swollen leg got much smaller and the best thing is that it did not swell back! We will definitely go back for more treatments after the pandemic or after we get our vaccines! Highly recommended!!

Dr.zhang yan is a really good acupuncturist and she is also a very knowledgeable and caring person. Balance the Mind and Body by Dr.Yan ZhangI had seasonal tearing eyes since teenage. This was the first time I took advice from Dr. Yan. She prescribed me one weeks dose of herb granule. I have been suffering from menstrual pain and poor sleep quality. Then I received acupuncture and medication at this clinic, and the results were amazing! I only had one session of acupuncture with Dr Yan and the effect was very obvious. After a period of treatment, the problem of menstrual pain was significantly reduced and the quality of sleep improved a lot. The clinic environment is elegant and quiet, making the entire treatment process more comfortable and relaxing. Highly recommend this clinic, especially to women who have irregular menstruation problems!

Last summer, I was introduced to Dr. Zhang by a friend. Because he was diagnosed with Sjögrens syndrome, the Western medicine doctor recommended taking long-term Western medicine to control it. Knowing that long-term medication is not good for the body, he chose Chinese medicine for treatment and took Chinese medicine for three months. My symptoms improved significantly. I didn’t go for a physical checkup at that time. During my annual checkup this year, I found that my white blood cells were low, so I contacted Dr. Zhang again. She said that my white blood cells would rise after taking the medicine for a month. I decided to give it a try again and went there last week. After the blood test, the report came out. The family doctor said that Sjogrens syndrome indicators and white blood cells had returned to normal. I would like to thank Dr. Zhang.
