Georgetown OB-GYN Associates

The most insensitive OBGYN I’ve been to and I’ve had 2 kids and 1 loss. Actively in the waiting room after an ultrasound to confirm a miscarriage and I’ve been waiting for an hour. The blonde ultrasound tech is severely unprofessional and cold never said one word before the ultrasound then just a “you’re miscarrying”. I would not recommend for miscarriage/loss services one bit.Update: got here at 8:50am and it is currently 10:30am and I still have not seen the doctor.

I went to get my depo shot, i usually have a very good experience here but today was odd. the girl giving me my shot had trouble injecting the depo and had poked me 3 times before finally asking for help and getting a new needle. it was just very awkward and painful.

They have a habit of not answering their phones but I was able to get an appointment in the end. Professional people but definitely on the slower side when it comes to getting your appointment done. Waited 50 minutes from my check in time for a routine appointment that ended up being 25 minutes start to finish.

This office is one of the best ones I have ever been to! You may have to wait, but it is worth it! The doctors and nurses are so wonderful and make you feel like you are the only one that matters. Even though I am not having any more babies - they make me want to have another one so they can deliver them. I will recommend this office to everyone who is needing an OBGYN!

Dr. Karen Schell is by far the best ob/gyn I’ve ever had. She took care of me with my first born and is currently taking care of me now. I highly recommend her to anyone and everyone looking for a Doc that actually cares about their patients and gives the absolute best advice. I think all the staff there is very professional. I’ve never had an issue being seen on short notice. Love this facility and their faculty. :)

I adore all the woman in this office. Dr. Schell is the most amazing OB I have ever had and as I have moved around a lot, I have had a lot. She is so understanding and caring and knowledgeable. he has helped me through a few stillborn babies and has been such a wonderful shoulder to cry on/laugh with. I just love her and cant say enough good about her. I love that I dont have to go to a separate office for an ultrasound or blood draws. Its all right there.

I really loved the doctors and staff during my pregnancy, but the wait time was almost always an hour, it got incredibly frustrating by the end of it. I ordered birth control at 7 months pregnant, 8 months pregnant and 6 weeks postpartum. I still dont have it...its been four months since I gave birth, and every time its a different reason why they dont have it or something new they have to do to order it. Its really not not ok to be so disorganized

I would give zero stars if possible. I came in today for my scheduled appointment and they took my temperature when I came in. (My temperature was taken via a skin thermometer, not orally.) I had the heat on in my car on the way to the doctor and the sun was in my face. They automatically assumed I was ill. I was refused to be seen. I will not be returning.

Horrible. Took them over a week to diagnose me with a UTI I knew I had. Had to go to urgent care just to get a test that didnt take a week for results to come back. Everyone knows UTI results dont take a week. They also wanted to put me on anti depressants just because I wanted birth control because i didnt want kids. save time and just go to Lexington gyn

Would love to share my first delivery time at night .... Just by my kind lord grace I found the best Dr. Owen, I was not aware a single thing about him but when I came out from the hospital with my baby I really said thanks by heart to Doctor Owen ... Bcz he is a great man !! May god bless him such long life he will save millions and millions pregnancies and babies ... Thanks for all again .

Highly recommend Taylor for any bloodwork you need done she is super sweet and very good at what she does! But whenever you call the Georgetown office they dont pick up and you get transferred to the Lexington office and get put on hold for long periods of time.

I have called twice during regular business hours to schedule an appointment and both times the phone rang for several minutes, no message service, no answer. I completed the online form requesting an appointment and let it set for a week with no response. I was a patient but I am switching back to my regular GYN.

This place was recommended so I gave it a try! Twice! Regret it. Always pushing medication on you. I’d go in for visits they suggested just to be asked how are you doing I’m fine ok bye. What a waste of my money and time. My doctor seemed unprofessional.

If you would like to make a doctors appointment that last ALL day then this is the place. Nice stuff and doctors but when you show up ten mins early and are in the waiting room for over an hour there’s something wrong.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I really wanted to like this place as it had come highly recommended by a few co-workers but that just wasn’t my experience over the last year of being seen here. Theyre rude and dismissive. Don’t waste your time or money here they do not care about the quality of care they are providing you.

Love this office. Centrally located and easy to find. The office staff could not be more helpful or friendly. The whole team goes above and beyond to take care of you and your concerns. Highly recommend!

They have absolutely no idea what they are doing how the busines is still operating is beyond me lack of brain cells is amazing doctor clames to have 27 years of experience but yet knows nothing about basic examination

Gamble on the quality of nurse you get and if you dont mind waiting 2 hours then this place isnt terrible. Consistantly getting double booked and waiting over an hour past appointment times.

Really nice non judge mental place , comfortable environment doctors are really friendly & im so happy i picked this place.
