This will be baby number 4 that I’ll have seen Dr. Atluru for, my first being born in 2011. She even delivered me over 30 years ago! She is absolutely wonderful at what she does and her vast knowledge and experience are why I trust her above all other OBs I’ve had. I’ve never once had a bad experience in office with Dr. Atluru and I was happy to find she hadn’t retired just yet when I found out I’d be needing an OB again.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I had an appointment today 10/11/2023 and I went and checked in as regular. I asked the receptionist if I had a copay and she said she would ask her manager. He then told her I had to pay 75 dollars for this appointment and my last appointment. I went to the back and waited on my doctor for 10 minutes. The doctor then came in and said she was waiting on the manager it was something with my insurance. I called out to my insurance myself and they said that my last appointment was covered I didn’t have a members responsibility and that the thing I was in the doctor office for or covered as a preventative so at 100%. So I got dressed and went to the front because I was still waiting on the doctor. I asked the receptionist why did they bill me and what was the problem with the insurance because I just talked to my insurance and they said it was no problem. She had to call the manager because he wasn’t in the office and he said somebody messed up ( which was him) and he wanted to talk to the insurance. I sat in the waiting room for another 10-20 minutes for him to argue with my insurance (which I had to call because he said he couldn’t speak to anyone) as they are telling him it is covered. I told him that should of been done before the date of my insurance, which I rescheduled to a later date. I had to take off from work for the appointment so they are wasting my time. I also informed provider that they were balance billing me because my insurance said I didn’t have a member responsible but they charged me 75.00, which is illegal. Since the manager didn’t do his job properly and I wasn’t able to see the doctor. I would advise to not go to the provider until they get a new manager and to make sure they are charging you properly.

Today I had my first appointment with Dr Suseela D Atluru, and let’s just say I will be changing my doctors right away. When I arrived at my appointment the door was locked and the lights were off and I arrived 5 mins before my scheduled time. I had to call to announce myself to let the man who makes the appointments know I was outside the door for him to let me in. Made it in did my initial paperwork and waited longer than expected being I was the only patient in the waiting area. When Dr Atluru finally came to call me to the back area to my surprise she was a much older lady and very frail looking, she didn’t hold the door open for me she just let the door close on me as if she didn’t have enough strength to help with the door. Once we made it to the back area she took my vitals and everything and then said I had to leave a urine sample. Inside the restroom the soap dispenser was empty and had water added to the bottle to stretch more soap out of it. That kinda rubbed me the wrong way because why haven’t yall just replaced the hand soap?! It’s giving nasty and cheap on the office part. Once having my appointment with Dr Atluru she repeated asked my name not just once or twice or three times… like over and over and over like just look at my chart you already took my ID and medical insurance card like why keep asking my name and date of birth and spelling of my name over and over if you can look at your paperwork. Also Dr Atluru had like the shakes like the old people shakes when they get up in age and can’t stop shaking their head when they are doing something. While trying to do my ultrasound she kept smacking her lips as if she was getting frustrated or tired but I’m not sure why. She seemed impatient and tired and it took her a very long time just to get my name typed into the ultrasound machine. She didn’t talk at all while doing my ultrasound like she couldn’t see the screen that good but she wore glasses! She kept saying I’m going to send you downstairs to get another ultrasound test because they had better equipment to see the baby! She guessed at the gender of my baby and said yeahh I could be wrong I don’t know due to the baby being too active and she couldn’t get a good look but I believe her machine was outdated and she was old and couldn’t see too well. Once my visit was over and I had already but all my clothes back on she said oh can you get back on the table so I can measure your stomach again even though she had already measured my stomach as soon as I laid down the first time I guess she forgot to document it so we had to do that step over again and she kept asking me did I see her measurements tape and left out the room to go look for it. Dr Atluru just seemed tired and not sure of what she was doing. Once she was done done she walked me to the front, handed the man at the front desk my folder and told him I need to go for bloodwork and I need to come back in 2 weeks. He looked at me and said ma’am you can have a seat in the front it’s going be about another 15-20 mins I have a lot of paperwork to do! I don’t think I should have to wait additional time just to get my next appointment time for 2 weeks from now. So I waited and waited and waited which turned out to be longer than 20 mins. By now I walked to the window to him and Dr Atluru fussing back and forth about what patients charts need what code and I’m like helloooo guys can I just get my next appointment please so I can be on my way and Dr Atluru said you can have a seat please so I take a seat and the man doing the paperwork saids to me I have to put the right codes in if I don’t then you will be billed for the appointment but I have insurance so he was just being really rude! So Dr Atluru is standing over the guy trying to help him look up the right codes for my appointment and he tells Dr Atluru can you just leave me alone and let me do it but he clearly didn’t know what he was doing. She walked off and he closed the glass window thing so I could no longer see him. I got tired of waiting on a response so I left!

The worst experience ever!!This is my first pregnancy and Dr. Suseela D Atluru is supposed to be my ob-gyn. I had my first appointment Today (August 9th) at 10:15am. I signed in and filled out the new patient paperwork, the young lady working the front desk questioned my insurance since I previously had insurance through my job and it kept coming up even though it’s inactive. I no longer have insurance through my job, I have United Healthcare through Medicaid and I explained that to her. I finally got to the back where they took my weight, blood pressure and asked for a urine sample. I waited for Dr. Suseela D Atluru for about 20 minutes just for her to walk in and say she’s not comfortable seeing me and I need to see a high risk Dr because I have asthma and “high blood pressure” I’ve never had a history of high blood pressure so I questioned if it was a possibility my blood pressure was high due to the food I had last night, which was a seafood boil and it did contain high amounts of sodium ( I know, not healthy or the best option but that’s what I ate last night for dinner) she still was not interested in seeing me, doing the ultrasound, none of that. So I made a phone call and she walked out, after making my phone call Dr. Suseela D Atluru came back in and said “you’re too early anyways, I won’t be able to see anything.” Without even doing the ultrasound there’s no way she would know what she could and could not see. I’m kind of confused as to why she would not do the ultrasound since I’m already there and she is my ob-gyn. The least she could’ve done was check to make sure the baby was fine and then referred me to a high risk doctor, she did NOTHING, and refused to take me on as a patient. I then asked the young lady working the front desk for some high risk doctors, she wrote some down for me and their office had even told me that Dr. Suseela D Atluru should’ve took me on as a patient and after the visit, if she still felt uncomfortable with seeing me as a patient she should’ve sent all my information over to a high risk doctor that she recommends. I’m kind of glad she’s not my ob-gyn after this experience, I wouldn’t trust her to deliver my baby.

Take your time to look for another Ob-Gyn if you care about your baby and yourself. The reason they have availability its because no one wants to go since everyone is very unprofessional. I had the worst experience here and I do not wish it on anyone.

She was my Ob with my son . I voiced my questions every visit and she was very nice and had a lot of patience . I told her how I had lost my first 2 children and she was very caring during my pregnancy. I was a high risk and she was very gentle . Once you get to know her you will love her. Her staff is amazing and so sweet. She did a csection on me and I had no complications and healed perfectly fine. She even checked on me everyday. Defiantly recommend her.

Im not sure what the Managers name is but he is Indian I believe, and one of the most rudest unprofessional men I had to deal with. If I could give him 0 stars I would. The other staff members are alright, just not all happy and welcoming as the workers part of the memorial herman hospital northeast (I love those employees). I like Dr Atluru shes nice but I just hate how long the wait is when my appointment is always at 9am but I dont get seen until nearly 11 o clock. I wanted to go to another office because of that but they told me that I was too far along in my pregnancy. overall I dont feel as though the employees at that office really like their job, they just need the money.

Dr.Atluru delivered my son on October 1, 2018. I have alot of mixed feelings on this doctor. I had a high risk pregnancy and she started seeing me at 20ish weeks. I feel like she can be more empathetic and answer questions more thoroughly. I hit a point in my pregnancy where I was terrified to ask questions. Like I would go to the nurses before her while on hospital bed rest. She can be really rude and the office manager is worse. However she did wonderful with my emergency csection on postpartum care. She met my son in the NICU.I wont be using her for my second pregnancy but I do appreciate what she did for my first.

She was extremely patient considering my first pregnancy for the last month she was called to hospital at least 1 a day mistaken for my water breaking but she just giggled and said it was fine. She isnt one of those sugar candy Dr. Shes not there to make you feel its all gumdrop and roses she is a medical professional with a capital P she will listion and advise but she is a no nonsense no sugarcoated ob which is why I love her she is direct to the point you want a cute cuddly Dr. Go to a pediatrician ... Pregnancy and unborn babies are serious issues that require serious attention and dedication and she had both

The worst Dr. office I have ever been referred to. The staff did not know what I was being seen for. They called me be by the wrong name. And not to even mention I waited for 2 hours before being seen. I then was roomed and waited another 20 minutes. Did not ask me if I was comfortable on the table. Nothing to support my head while laying down. It was just awful. Also, the staff is not aware of HIPPA. Another patients chart was laying right in front of me open. So unprofessional. Stay away from this office. You deserve better patient care.

My son is now 4 years old. But when i was pregnant I went to DR.Atluru and she was always rushing me and if I had a question she would just blow me off. Her office staff is very unknowledgeable about the insurance that the office accepts. When I gave birth and went in for a check up, they told me they didnt accept my insurance. so I had to pay for a blood test That had been done when I was pregnant. If I didnt pay the doctor would not see me. How sad. Would not every go back to her.

I absolutely adore Dr Atluru. Shes very kind and attentive. Her staff is kind as well. HOWEVER. I had an appointment scheduled at 2:30 to have my nexplanon removed, arrived at 2:20. By 3, I was still waiting. I was told, word for word, Were going to see a few more patients before you since your appointment is going to take longer. Sorry my appointment is such an inconvenience. I was finally put in a room at FOUR. It took less than 30 minutes. That alone has me looking for a new doctor.

This is by FAR THE RUDEST AND MOST UNPROFESSIONAL TREATMENT I’ve ever had to deal with when it comes to my pregnancy. If I could give NO STARS I WOULD. Whomever I spoke with about transferring my care hung up the phone in my face he DID NOT introduce himself, he snapped an attitude and hung up in my face, no one calls with blood work results, the front desk staff is always on the phone, the wait times are horrible, I waited three hours for a ten minutes visit and then wasn’t told too much of ANYTHING. IF you are any concerned about your pregnancy please find somewhere else for the sake of your unborn child.

Writing this review but Im not signed into my google account but my spouses accout... anyway..I have had the unfortunate experience of being under her care for two time frames in my life and both times were horrible. The first time was for my first experience with a gynecologist and that was awful. She scratched me so bad I bled for days after seeing her. What a painful and terrible experience that was. She also misdiagnosed me with a disease I DID NOT HAVE. She sent me into a specialist scaring me to death thinking I had something and did not do any back up blood work to confirm the FALSE POSITIVE. Praise God the doctor she sent me to was competent. The next time I had the unfortunate experience with this terrible doctor she misdiagnosed me AGAIN!!! I had my second baby and she was on call for my O.B. for the weekend. I showed up to the ER explaining I felt very ill. (I am very sensitive to my body and can tell when something is wrong.) I went to this ER twice times due to complications after my emergency C Section (back then Kingwood Hospital) and she was on call but did not even come up to the hospital to see me face to face... she was on the phone and asked me if I was depressed or what I thought was wrong with me. What in the world?! She kept me in the ER for 18 hours refusing to admit me and refusing to discharge me and the staff said if I left I would be leaving AMA and my insurance may not cover it. One nurse said she didnt want to get in trouble but I needed help quick because each time I went to the ER I was progressively worse. I left that night and through the weekend I was so sick that by Tuesday morning I could not hold a spoon to even feed myself and I was drooling and couldnt speak anymore and had no control over my own body. I had to be admitted to a hospital for 8 weeks to correct the damage!!!! That means I had to be away from my newborn child for that long! What did happen to me? I had post partum psychosis....my thyroid shut down and had a storm and my hormones were absolutely crazy causing me to have a disconnection of thought in my brain and lose control over my body. It caused my whole body to shut down and I could hardly walk! Was it something rare? Yes, but not as rare as you would think. This level of devastation could have been prevented if I had received proper medical care. I have had other children before and since this experience and this happened on her watch. Sad but true... Beware and seek her care at your own risk.On a side note which would be hearsay but true to my knowledge because they have no reason to lie to me- Staff had also told me of things about this doctor that is highly disturbing. There are so many midwives and doctors out there that are much more trustworthy, knowledgeable, and have great bedside manner; why go to one that is this bad?

I now have my beautiful daughter and she is my first born, but I went through hell with this office, first the staff is so RUDE, they have no knowledge of insurance I had to pay for every ultrasound, blood work ect. Just because they didnt know hot to verify insurance and the most frustrating part is that I new how to verify because I worked in the field and they never believe a word I said when I knew I didnt have to pay nothing, it got to a point where I had to call my insurance in front of them so they could speak to them so I wont get charged because they wouldnt call them its absurd. I got lots of stress that I didnt need and the doctor omg she comes in and out of the room and rushes you, I couldnt ask questions because she would just try to shut me up and move on and she even told me I had to listen to her thats she knows whats she is doing but yet she didnt even let me asked the question lol horrible and the equipment is old, old ,old. Oooh and manager is super rude and unprofessional!!
