Quest Diagnostics Carondelet - Employer Drug Testing Not Performed

Bonnie was incredibly unprofessional. I went to get my blood drawn and first claimed that I wasn’t in the system and insisted that she couldn’t find him my orders or my doctor any other way than with my name and DOB. I ended up calling my doctor on his emergency cell so that he could give orders over the phone (meanwhile I had been texting with him.) and she said well all I had was your last name. Incorrect Bonnie, I told you his first and last name and then asked if there was other ways to look it up. I also registered online and she couldn’t find me. Odd. She sent me back to the waiting room before she called me back again a few minutes later. It was 815am and she was the only one. I don’t really gather she felt like working yet, and much more interested in being a snarky, lazy phlebotomist. Who then decided to go for the weakest of my incredibly healthy veins. I am so upset my insurance requires that I go to quest diagnostics. I will never be going back to this location, and will never recommend anyone to even do a walk in at this clinic.

Do not go to this location! They are unprofessional and rude. I was treated extremely terribly. I have to get several labs done for pregnancy, and when I tried to get routine labs done they werent going to let me get my labs done because I had a balance due on some previous labs. I tried to explain to them that I have been working with Quests financial department (who told me they dont do payment plans, so I have to wait for reimbursement from my healthcare sharing organization to be able to pay my bill, which was $900 total, but they told me I cant just pay a portion of it.) The lady on the phone at the financial department told me she would put my bill on hold while I could apply for financial aid and/or get the money from my healthcare sharing organization. The lady at this location didnt care and spouted off all these rude things about them not getting paid and how she cant draw my labs unless I pay in full. She also asks if I have to routinely get my labs done, when clearly she can see these are time-sensitive labs for pregnancy and its not an on-going thing (this is after she put the codes in the computer knowing it was for pregnancy). And then after treating me terribly, she finally tells me well, youre lucky you got me today, the other lady here isnt as nice as I am, and Im going to let you get your labs done. She takes my blood, two vials, puts the labels on them, puts a note in the computer that I am in process with their financial department. The following week at my prenatal appointment my midwife tells me I have to get my labs done, which I told her I have already done them. My results are nowhere to be found. My midwife calls this Quest location to find out what happened, and Quest without informing us or asking us or telling us just decided to cancel my labs and throw my blood away!!! Terrible. I will never go to this location again. After the whole ordeal of being treated terribly they go behind our backs and dont do their jobs and dont even care.

Quick and easy. Made an appointment online before I went in. Checked in and sat in the waiting room for less than 5 minutes. Was taken back and my blood was drawn on the first try for my very hard to reach veins (really, I have trouble every time I donate blood or have it drawn). No complaints, will use again if needed!

I have a great fear of having my blood drawn. The phlebotomist that helped me was so very kind and empathetic. She was reassuring, quick, and efficient. She did everything possible to minimize my anxiety. I am thankful for everything she did today.I would recommend this quest location over the menorah location.

Staff was friendly and I was in and out in 20 minutes. They got me in within 5 minutes of my appointment time, and results were posted to their portal relatively quickly. The phlebotomist was skilled and got me painlessly on the first stick.

I went to this location a urinalysis. My new employers are going to be Quest Diagnostics and had just been given the order the day before. They told me I was on a time crunch and I had to use this location. When I arrive, I fill out the information and sit and wait until someone comes to get me. A lady comes out with an attitude and before I can finish saying why I was there she cuts me off and says “we don’t do stuff tests here no mo.” I tried to explain my situation to her about the time crunch and that we are dealing with the same company and she won’t have none of it. Kept interrupting me and just went off to tell to go to another location that’s only open 4 hours a day right in the middle of work time. I hope this is just this location and not my own because this is not a good way to begin a new job. If you have an option don’t go to this location find another one where they treat as a person with a problem not as a problem.

Please save your time and go to another place to get your testing done. Bonnie has no business doing her job... LET ALONE running the place by herself. Lazy, horrible people skills, unaware, and unprofessional. Will never be returning.

Fast, efficient. Got the blood draw on the first try.

Went to this location in 2018, and 2019, frien day nurses, had no terrible experience with this lab.

Unfortunately, this location has closed (as of June 2020.)

They billed my insurance and then lost the results to the tests.

Permanently closed. I didnt check the reviews until it was too late.
