Dr. Nelson and his staff are amazing. He took time to sit down with me and talked for a bit. He was extremely down to earth and caring. I am glad I chose him to be my doc.

Im not new to this clinic, but I am new to Dr. Nelson. Ive never had a male Gynecologist and I was a little skeptical. I have always gone to a woman because women know women right?! Wrong!! I will never be okay with having another Dr. for my lady bits. Dr. Nelson is on a different level. His kindness, understanding, patient care, knowledge, attentiveness, explanations, etc. was unlike anything Ive ever experienced. He sat and listened and explained and listened more. I never felt rushed or hurried out. He made me feel like a person and not a number. Ive had terrible worries since my visit to the ER, and he came up with a plan for my issues and made sure to tell me my mental health is just as important as any other part of my bodies health. That meant so much to me!! My wobbly bits will forever be looked after by the amazing Dr. Nelson. I recommend in to anyone and everyone 10/10.

Dr Nelson was very professional and kind, I was a mess when I visited him. I had just found a lump on my breast and so I was very scared. Him and his staff was so kind and reassuring. Not even 24 hours after my visit I found out all is well!! He will definitely be my dr going foward!

Had an appointment w/new Doc, office atmosphere was pleasant. A lot of pregnant women in/out (on/gyn) that is what I prefer an office and doctor specifically for women and a male is my preference. Dr. Nelsons hospitality was on point, he definitely made me feel comfortable, thank the LORD not a lot going on, just needed a yearly checkup and the wait time was zero. Thank you Dr Nelson, really appreciate you and GOD BLESS!

I have been seeing Dr. Nelson just under a year. He removed my IUD because my husband and I were ready to start a family. He went over preconception counseling with us and a few months later we were pregnant. I have seen him for all my prenatal appointments. He understands who I am as person. I am someone who wants more information and he takes the time to really explain and answer all of my questions. I really appreciate never feeling rushed through my appointments and would highly recommend Dr. Nelson and the entire practice to those who are looking for OB/GYN care.

Dr. Nelson is such a great and respectful man. I would definitely recommend him and his office to other women that are looking for somewhere great for their family and their journey on wanting to expanding it!

Dr. Nelson is wonderful! Hes polite, he cares, and he listens! Dr. Nelson has helped me through my fertility journey and took us in to have an early ultrasound once we found out we were pregnant after my multiple losses. If youre looking for a OB hes your guy!

I love how patient, understanding, and informative he is. I’ve never had a male OB doctor, I have always felt more comfortable with female doctors, but Doctor Nelson surprised me. He’s awesome!

I started seeing Dr. Nelson when I started TTC. He quickly diagnosed my PCOS which I never knew I had. And set me up on a plan to conceive. Now I have a beautiful almost 2 yr old. And back on the plan for a second. Highly recommend. He know his stuff and is very personable.

Dr Nelson is a consummate professional. He is polite, calm, and most of all patient. His bedside manner is beyond reproach and he will talk to you about your concerns until you are completely comfortable without rushing. Fantastic doctor AND human! Highly recommend for any OBGYN related health happenings.

Never had a male Gyno before . I will say he was absolutely amazing ! Very informative and patient , I just moved to the area and he took his time to ask me questions about my history and any concerns I had . I highly recommend. Thank you for making me feel welcome and calming any nervousness I had about switching doctors .

First and foremost, Dr Nelson was great. I had to see him for the first time when I needed to be seen for an ER follow-up. His MA/nurse on the other hand, she’s in the wrong field. When we were brought to the room, the first thing she said to us was “what are you here for” “what did you go to the ER for”.. for us being in such a vulnerable spot after losing our first pregnancy TWO DAYS PRIOR, it really sucked having to explain everything to her. (We went to the affiliate ER and spoke with the OB on call) After explaining this to her she asked me for the discharge paperwork, I had already told her all of our information and notes were in the system and her only response was that she hadn’t even looked. Dr Nelson however was so kind and explained everything in an understanding way. He made this appointment easy and it meant a lot to have such a caring OB for such a hard time for us.

Dr. David Nelson is an excellent OB-GYN. He answered all of my questions and was always very kind to both me and my husband. I am very grateful for his care.

I cannot express enough how grateful my wife and I are for the exceptional care we have received from Dr. Nelson. From the very first appointment, he has been incredibly kind, attentive, and supportive. His warm and compassionate demeanor has made every visit a positive experience.

I was a little nervous to go to a male gyno to be honest but my doctor said he was a fantastic practitioner so I went and I’m glad I did. He had the best bedside manner and took every single thing I said seriously. I have never felt so heard at a doctors office before. I finally feel like I have a doctor that will listen if I say something doesn’t feel right, or not push back if I want something extra to be done. He explained everything thoroughly but not as if I was stupid, and I left feeling like I had both knowledge and control over my healthcare decisions.

Dr Nelson was not my original OB, but I was admitted to the hospital in an emergency after developing a rare condition that threatened my life. He was the OB that saw me, explained everything that was happening, and took over my care. This was my 6th birth and I can easily recognize an amazing OBGYN- Dr Nelson is it! He is now my primary OBGYN forever and ever. Bedside manner is amazing, he explains things very well and thoroughly, exams are gentle.

Very nice doctor. Listens to all my concerns. Explains procedures and anatomy in a way I understand without making my brain go out my ear. Outpatient surgery went well with no issues during recovery.

Dr. Nelson and his nurse were great. They both were very helpful and answered all my questions. They made me feel very comfortable!

I am very happy Dr Nelson. He spends time educating & answering all of my questions. His staff are very nice & professional. As an RN I expect the best & Dr Nelson is!

Never have I ever left a review for a GYN but after my 1st visit with Dr Nelson I need to let everyone know how amazing he is. He took his time to meet me before the exam and after, answered my questions, was very thorough and gentle. I highly recommend him to all!

Dr. Nelson is the best Doctor that Ive had interaction with in awhile. He LISTENS, and is not rushing while speaking to you. I went to my appointment with an actual list to talk to him about, and he was so patient and kind the entire time. He exudes an energy that puts you at ease. Dr Nelson is amazing. He helped us get pregnant, stay pregnant and bring our baby earthside. When we have another we will 100% be going to him again. Also Dr Greaves is awesome too!!

4/6/23 My wait time was short after completing paperwork, the office staff were friendly & the clinical staff were friendly. Dr. Nelson was excellent! He answered all my questions, was very patient & compassionate regarding my situation. He listened, explained my situation, and reviewed my test results in a way that my primary physician did not, so I felt more knowledgeable afterward. He allowed me space to make decisions without feeling pressured or rushed regarding my treatment options. Thank you all for the excellent care today!Edit 6/13/23 This was my follow up appointment and he was just as excellent as before! I would definitely recommend him to anyone needing ob/gyn services. Im moving out of the area, but I would seek him out if I ever move back. Thank you Dr. Nelson for making me feel seen and heard as a patient!

Dr. Nelson is by far one of the BEST overall doctors I have ever had. The number one thing he does better than most doctors is listens. He is caring, understanding, and his bedside manners are the best! There are no complaints. You don’t wait hours to be seen and the rest of the staff are also quite awesome!

Dr. Nelson was extremely caring and he just had a great energy to him. I felt very at ease after leaving my appointment. My normal doctor was on nights the day of my appointment, and he was covering for her. If there were any reason I couldn’t see my normal any more he would be my first choice. Highly recommend him!
