AFC Urgent Care Chapman Highway TN

As always, the staff at AFC Urgent Care were amazing. I go to this Urgent Care when I am sick because I leave feeling better than when I arrived. I know the Doctors and PAs are knowledgeable and treat me as if I was one of their family members. If I could give 10 stars, I would. I love the cleanliness of the waiting area and the rooms. I also like the fact that you can register yourself online and also do paperwork online. Every step of the process of being seen by a physician, is beyond the best!

The receptionist was welcoming, smiling, and very helpful with instructions on completing my check-in. The nurse that took my vitals was also kind and efficient. The PA was exceptional. I say that because she asked the right questions and prescribed treatment that was perfect for my situation. She was attentive to my responses and questions. Lots of compassion and very professional. I instantly felt so comfortable with her. The guy that can in to give my shot made me laugh which instantly made me relax and I didn’t tense up at all. By the time I started to brace myself for the shot, he had already given it. He was great. Two hours later and I’m feeling so much better. Thank you all for your care!

The people at the front desk were kind of rude. They weren’t billing my insurance and I had to pay over $100 out of pocket to even get back to see a doctor. As a college student, that’s not ideal and ridiculous. The doctor who looked at my ear was beyond amazing though! She made the experience so much better. She was incredible!

I had to go to AFC this weekend over a hurt hand, and all the ladies even the front desk ladies who work there are amazing. Normally I would go to a different location and it’s never as quick simple or pleasant there. I will definitely be using this location from now on!

I can’t remember the nurse that helped me today but I was seen in office on September 29, 2024 in room 3 around 10 am and let me just tell you she was the most amazing nurse/woman. I didn’t feel rushed, or like she was dismissing me. She’s a true QUEEN!

I had an appointment with another walk-in clinic on this day, and we saw that Urgent Care was there. I’m so glad that we decided to stop!!! This is like the 3rd time that I’ve had to use a walk-in clinic over the last few years and Every single time I have been there has been exceptional!!! Literally every single person that works there is so sweet! And that doesn’t happen often lol Thank you so much

Every time I have been to AFC Urgent Care its been me taking a Family Member. VeryProfessional Staff and Friendly. Never a long wait. The Bldg Pt rooms and Restroooms clean which .makes for a better expierance when your sick.. Thank You

The staff from phone calls the day before setting appointment to information about insurance to checking in to being called back by Miss Summer, whose attitude is impeccable & Interpersonal communication skills are stellar and topped off with a caring, attentive Dr. Tamara Hughes. I havent had shots in a while and that nurse was great too! I jumped and she still was able to land the needle! They were great all around. I highly recommend AFC URGENT CARE AT 7564 CHAPMAN HIGHWAY.

Although we set a time to go in on Sunday morning when we woke up and felt worse we just went over at opening time. We were taken in smoothly by reception and went back very quickly. The nurse was very friendly and helpful. We saw the physician assistant quickly and received the treatment we expected based on previous history. We were seen, treated, and on the way before our initial time selected. Overall great experience. Highly recommend.

I don’t use urgent care very often because I love my doctor and I had this mindset that they just give you an antibiotic or steroid shot for everything. This urgent care is so much more than that. I went in for horrible back pain and they were able to X-ray my back within minutes. Everyone was kind and the check-in is so convenient since they save all your info.

Easily created an appointment on the app with information saved from previous visits. Got in and seen quickly. They have always been good to us. We are grateful to have them close and available.Solv/AFC keeps asking me to update my review, so here’s my most recent experience:My husband had been concerned about a fever and cough that I’d been experiencing. I went to my Solv app at like 5:40am and scheduled a reservation for 8:40. I got to AFC at 8 when they opened and was the first patient back. The providers and staff were all super personable and sweet. We always go to AFC because it’s convenient and affordable. I definitely recommend them. The only problem I have is that you’re regularly there for quite some time. I usually am there for over an hour, sometimes multiple. Yesterday was no exception. I left finally at almost 9:30am.

Woke up in the middle of the night with a horrible UTI… made my appointment through the app and was seen very quickly… The PA was very kind and even offered to make my Drs excuse an extra day just in case I was still unwell… I love AFC and always recommend them to everyone..

All workers are outstanding especially Dr Nicolas Taylor he is a very understanding doctor that you could ask for. He explains the situation you may have and the reasons for This to occur. For everyone whom reads this please I recommend this specific AFC walk in clinic on Chapman Hwy. Across-the- from Lowes. You are welcome and as you walk in your automatically welcomed for being there I would recommend Dr Nicolas Taylor out of all of the doctors in which they may have or theres one more doctor in which Ive forgotten their name. All workers go up and over their workmanship to make sure that you are feeling well and if you should get worse Dr Taylor will be there to help you in the best way possible as he has studied to do so.

Conveniently did everything online. I was met by an exceptional front desk person. Nurse was great! It took a bit to wait but others there too. Provider was caring and actually listened. Recommend to others for sure!!

My sciatica was acting up and I got in effortlessly was pleased with the staff. The provider listen to my concern and I walked out feeling so much better I would definitely recommend them. Thank you Cathy Hammons for your help and also Laney Wooten she was so kind and made me comfortable getting those shots.

Very nice check-in , nurse, and Dr.The nurse was waiting at the door and took me straight back after signing in. She took my vitals, and the Dr came right in as soon as she was through. I explained that my problem was from an asthma attack that I had a day 2 days ago and was still having problems and that I thought I needed a cortisone shot. He checked me out and asked me some questions, and agreed with me. The nurse came right back and gave me a shot and he came right back in and asked me if I was okay and about my medications that I had which were going to expire in July so he called in my maintenance medications, and I was out after he told me that if I had any questions to call or if I had problems to come right back into the clinic. Ive never had such a short thorough visit and such a great experience as I did today. Thank you to the check-in staff, nurse, and Dr who took care of me today. You were truly wonderful. I appreciate the kindness and thoughtfulness you gave me. I highly recommend this AFC clinic on Chapman Hwy near the CVS drug store and Walmart right before going into Seymour ❤️

I took my young son in just before closing time on a Saturday after an injury to his wrist at the soccer field. We were treated quickly and received excellent care from the PA and all the staff. My son fractured his forearm and they diagnosed him quickly. The xray technician and nurse who applied his temporary cast were so kind and gentle with him. As a nurse myself I appreciate and recognize the care we received. I highly recommend this clinic.

They were very friendly. I didnt have an appointment, but they were very fast. I would definitely go back to this place.

Excellent and friendly care for a cut on my hand. I was a walk-in patient and waited only a short time before being seen. I would definitely recommend AFC Urgent Care.

I had to get a Covid/Strep test on Sunday morning. I appreciate the weekend hours and easy online paperwork ahead of time. I was in and out within 45 minutes—they also only charge my insurance the same as if I go to my regular doctor! Will use them again for sure.

Every one was super friendly to my son and I. They were supper fast about getting us in and out. The doctor also very understanding of my concerns and got my son to feeling better.

Give this place a 7.5/10. The actual nurse practitioners were really good. However, one of their assistants had the wrong chart pulled up during my visit and didn’t realize till she started asking me about medications I’ve never heard of. We had a different nurse during my daughters visit and she was actually fantastic. Very funny and experienced. On the other hand, the admin staff kept arguing with me about an old insurance being active and trying to get me to use it even though I insisted we were no longer paying that company. Also had issues with billing on the clinic’s end that my [current] insurance is going to have to sort out. Fingers crossed on that one.

This place rocks. It was clean, smelled good and the staff was very professional, knowledgeable and patient. We will be coming here for all of your urgent care needs going forward.

I had been dealing with sinus issues for several days. Woke up with fever & lots of pain in middle of the night. As soon as I could get to the office they took me right in. Very attentive to my needs. The dr was so kind. I was hurting & he listened to everything I told him. Advised to run a covid test just to rule that & the flu out. I have used this office before & I have had very positive visits. I fully recommend this office. The front staff is friendly the nurses are quick & kind.

EDITED: I had issues completing a drug screen at this location 3 different times. After posting a review, I was contacted by the CEO and the office manager. They apologize for the inconvenience and told me to call then directly with any issues in the future. I was very impressed and thankful for the way they handled my concerns. Thank you again!

Woke up with a sore throat and was seen quickly and cared for by knowledgeable provider. Was given treatment in office and prescription to help with congestion. Not hardly any wait time, I would highly recommend this facility to anyone needing care.

The doctor I saw there sent me to the ER and said she thought I had measles. I told her I just started a sulfa drug a week ago. The ER took one look at me and knew I had a sulfa reaction. So basically I spent 100 bucks at an Urgent care to go to the ER for something that Urgent care could’ve just diagnosed themselves, if they were competent at all.

All medical offices could learn from AFC Chapman Hwy. They were so quick, friendly, and efficient. I would recommend them to anyone needing medical assistance. GOOD JOB, THANKS!!!!’

Has completely fell off and has no professionalism or basic knowledge. Took me to a dirty exam room to wait to have a nurse practitioner give me generic answers. Didn’t take the time to do a physical exam or even care to listen then sends a random person (don’t even know if she was licensed) to give me a steroid shot and she hit my Sciatic nerve.

The gentleman who treated me was amazing. I was in and out Quick. Plus the gave my granddaughter snacks.And she wanted to give them a 5 star review.

Always receive kind and compassionate care. I recommend this urgent care! Quick and professional care.

Office workers were very friendly, helpful and caring. The PA was helpful and caring, the nurses were very nice too. Sympathetic to my pain and well being. Nice place to go if youre felling down or sick.

I had been dealing with a bad bad stomach ache that lead to a sharp pain shooting in abdominal region. The staff was helpful with taking care of me and prescribed the right treatment

Really love the place although youre not in the best of spirits when you have to go to the doctor but everything was very pleasant I got the meds I needed right away all in all the whole visit took an hour and 10 minutes thank you so very much for helping my husband

A lot of my time here was sitting and waiting. Was here for over an hour. The NP was great and really seemed to care. Checking in and paying for services before they’re rendered is irritating.

I have been a patient at this urgent care for over 2 years now. I have a condition that keeps me very sad and depressed. People see me and judge me everywhere I go. Not this clinic. Everyone has been so kind to me. The people that check you in set the tone for your entire visit. I hope they understand how important they are. EVERYTIME I go in Im met with a smile, kindness, compassion and are very helpful. I know Im going to be taken care of and its going to be OK when I get checked in. The manager obviously knows this because she hires top notch people! Thanks front desk for all you do!!!! The nurses are friendly knowledgeable quick and are extremely professional with their job. The nurse practioners are finominal. Everyone of them that have treated me have made me feel like Im the only thing that matters when they are in the room. I feel like they actually LISTEN to me. What a concept. So many in the medical profession are in such a hurry makes you wonder if they have heard anything you have said. Their Compassion is just awesome their knowledge cant be beat. They care about the entire person the entire picture of what you bring to them. I leave this clinch knowing I have received the best care I possibly can and they ALL actually care about me. I recommend this clinic to anyone who wants kind, compassionate, holistic knowledgeable care for the problem you bring to them. Thanks to all the staff at this clinic. This place is great! I was seen and treated by PA Nicholas Taylor and I actually felt that I was treated better than with my own Physician.I would recommend this place to anyone who needs care and cant get in to see their Physician.

Lady’s at the front desk were really nice. Nurse and Dr was quick to come in and access and was helpful.

After taking our dtr to CVS where she wasn’t tested for anything & was told to take Allegra D, with no improvement we went to AFC. She was checked for strep. She was diagnosed with ear infection, sinus infection & was given an antibiotic, steroid, and something for her cough. We were in & out within 45 minutes. Thanks to the provider she will be feeling better on her 13th bday (3 days away)

I couldn’t be happier with my care, nurse practitioner Debi the nurse I can’t remember her name. I had Covid the front desk. Everybody was great thank you so much.

Came into the clinic with flu-like symptoms and was called back almost immediately. Front office staff was very friendly. Lainey the medical assistant was very personable, super funny, and so sweet. Nick(NP) was very thorough and had great bedside manner. I couldnt be more pleased with my care. Thank you all so much!

I avoid going to the doctor because most things heal on their own. I have been so sick I could barely get out of bed and was coughing up chunks. I decided I needed some help. The nurse practitioner that saw me was so unbelievably rude and treated me as if I was faking and a waste of time. I never leave poor reviews, but this woman may ignore other patients who really need help, and I would never recommend going to the Chapman location.

Absolutely the worst place I’ve ever went to. I’m glad I wasn’t being seen for being sick. My daughter needed drug test for work or I would’ve left. This is the worst place I’ve ever went to for a fast pace. Her name was on the waiting list, and then it disappeared and still had to wait hours hours not just a few minutes hours. I have a sick father at home I need to get to and I’m Very upset with this place of business!🤬

Pre - registered online my arrival time for my appointment was 12:00 noon upon arrival check in at the window, no hiccups there .still has some paperwork to fill out but it didnt take long wait time in the waiting room no more than 5 to 10 minutes

The wait was only a few minutes, Staff was friendly, very attentive, got results and was out quickly there after.!

3rd time I’ve had to use this clinic for non emergency issues when I can’t get into my doctor. I’m always in an out in an hour or less and they’re always extremely nice and informative.

The medical assistant there was very nice and comforting. The staff there are wonderful people.

The staff were very nice and helpful. The wait times were a little bit long but based on the number of people coming in it was appropriate. AFC is my go to when I cannot get in to my regular doctor ....which over the past couple of years seems the norm. Always good service and resonable pricing.

I have been to this clinic a few times and have always felt like the doctor cared. Always answers questions and listens and gets to the root of your illness. Staff is always very kind and friendly.

Everyone was super kind and understanding of my feral/sick/moody child! They were able to help us and treat my daughter as needed to get her back to normal.

P A Kathy was knowlegdeable and understanding. I did not get the lady’s name that registered me, but she was very helpful and also understanding. They take their time with you.

The appointment was easy to make online. I filled out all my information at home, which saved time. I picked my own time slot from available times. I was treated very respectfully. After the nurse checked my vitals and asked a few questions, concerning the reason for my visit I was in the doctors office in a very short time. The Dr came in in less than 5 minutes. He listened to me, he did the exam, he prescribed some meds to treat my condition. He explained everything as he went along. I was very pleased with everyone concerned. Thank you Dr. Taylor.

Brian the PA was fantastic. He listened to us and responded to our concerns by covering all basis. We left with what we needed.

I was sick and needed to know if it was covid or the flu. I was checked in, seen,tested and out in about 30 minutes. Fifteen minutes was waiting on the test results.

I was treated well. The staff was warm and professional. My service was expedient and results didnt taking long. Im home in bed but on the mend. AFC is great for people w/o family primary care doctor and for the others who have medical concerns on the weekends.

Weve been going to this location for years for mild illnesses. Theyve always done a great job but today was the best experience weve ever had. There were 8 people in front of us with only one provider and we still got in and out in a timely fashion. The staff communicated well with one another as well as the patients. It was a great visit overall. Thank you to all that helped us today!

The staff here was SO caring and made me feel very comfortable and heard. I had to bring my daughter with me, and they gave her coloring pages and turned Paw Patrol on the TV in the exam room. Definitely made needing to go to urgent care feel a little better.

I feel like it was rushed. Just because she found no issue with urine, I feel she should have tried to figure out what the issue of back pain was caused from. It was only on right side and very horrible pain or I would not have went in to be seen. Just feel like these appointments are rushed and they dont really care about the patients issue. She tried giving me a pain shot or prescribe me muscle relaxers. Well if you dont know what the issue is. Why would you offer me anything?? They just rule out it isnt what you came in for...so GOOD LUCK! Everyone was nice and friendly, it took 1 hour 10 minutes from check-in to check-out. So quick and the place was clean.I would recommend if it is for a cold or something like that. If it is something more extensive I would go to your primary care. Which I normally do, but it was after hours and if it was a UTI I was trying to get ahead of it.Overall 9/10 is my rating.Merry Christmas to All! 🎄

Even though three of us came in literally 5 minutes before they closed, they took us in, and were great!!! Me and my elderly parents were all beyond miserable! So thankful for their care. (Only one individual was obviously put out by our last minute visit, and I can understand some of that, but everyone else was amazing!!!)

Everyone is always nice, and I got seen at the ER pretty fast thanks to them!

The front office staff was great and helpful. I brought my mother in law in for an ear canal flush and wax removal. The nurse staff were fantastic and was able to help her gain a lot of her hearing back. We highly recommend this AFC urgent center on Chapman highway.

Staff and providers were great. They got me in quickly but I didnt feel rushed. Good place to go when your primary dr is not available.

I normally have a great experience at urgent care locations. On this particular visit the nurse practitioner was incredibly rude. She even threatened that I needed to leave. I never denied anything. She came into the room and said tell me what’s going on. I expressed that I just explained in detail to the other staff member what was going on. I further explained that it is truly frustrating to have a repetitive process. The nurse practitioner told me that she is “unaware what the nurses do, so I need to tell her what’s going on so I can be treated”. I said I get that but it can be uncomfortable to repeat at times. She took a dislike to that statement.I asked how is it possible that you don’t know what the other staff does, when they collect the information then tell the patient that they will let the nurse practitioner know and they will be with the patient soon? She took a dislike to that as well. It must be stated that I wasn’t aggressive in nature, I’m just very direct.She wanted to examine me and I asked for what? That’s a reasonable question if you tell me to lay down to be examined without explaining to me what you want to check and look for. She got upset that I asked the question, and stormed out of the room. She came back in with a stand in nurse. The stand in nurse just looked at me in disgust based off of a narrative discussed outside the room. I said I don’t understand why you need a stand in if I never did anything wrong. I never cursed at you, I never threatened you.I repeated to the nurse practitioner that she told me I need to be examined, I asked what needs to be examined and I told her I agreed at that time, moved my glasses, and stood up to sit on the table. That’s when the nurse said hold on, and stormed out the room. I waited. Then comes in another person. I said is that not what happened? She said no. I said so I’m lying. She just got quiet.I guess that’s what’s happens when you’re a tall, athletic, dark skinned male in a facility with two white women in the room. I will be reporting the entire incident because someone with a license should not be acting that way or holding bias.The nurse practitioner was DEBORAH FREYER, NP. I will be drafting a report with the Board of Nursing.

Kathy is the one I always see. She is great and takes the time to do everything right. I like her so much better than any other doctor I see. She is just really good.

Was in and out no trouble at all . The ladies out front and in the back were awesome , as well as the doctor . If I could give an extra star I would ! It was the best doctor visit I’ve ever had in my 40 years .

They prescribed me something I’m allergic to, and then they gave me a medicine that never works on me. They wouldn’t tell me what they were prescribing before I left after I saw that they prescribed me the medication I was allergic to.

No problems again today. Glad I got there early. Did have to wait a little longer than I would have liked but I’ve had much worse. And it is allergy/respiratory problem season. Have used AFC on Chapman Hwy several times. Will use again if needed. Too close to home not to. No complaints

We came here for a sports physical for my son. I would give them five stars but they dont accept our insurance. We were still able to do the sports physical though because the insurance doesnt cover that anyway.

We did the registration online ahead of the appointment from a text sent by the clinic. Took our insurance (BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee), which was nice, but they ran out of strep tests right before we got there. The wait was really long, but they were busy (it was Christmas Eve), but our case was not in need of immediate resolution. The Dr. there was helpful, listened and made sure to check my daughters breathing, nose and ears. We were able to leave with a prescription, though we did not have to have it filled unless her symptoms declined over the Christmas holidays. I was thankful I could get her in on an appointment w/o having to contact our GP - which was closed for a longer duration of time.

Check-in was fast and easy. The front office staff was efficient and friendly. The clinician that took our vitals and meds list was friendly and thorough. The PA that examined and diagnosed us was skilled and provided the diagnosis and prescriptions for treatment. A five-star experience!

The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful! Waited in lobby for over an hour for no reason I was told. The front desk had to pull us to rooms and get vitals! Seen the very friendly doctor before even seeing the nursing staff! Very unpleased!

So this is lengthy, but I have used AFC at different times, different locations over the past 4 years. I did not have the best experience yesterday. Using the online scheduling site, Solvhealth did not work well with my phone. My phone is a little over a year old which should work well. However, after several failed attempts to schedule an appointment online, I decided to load the Solvhealth app and still the app did not work correctly to schedule an appointment. I finally called the facility to try to schedule an appointment since the site was unsuccessful and was told they could not schedule anything over the phone. (Let me say here, they do not schedule an appointment when you pick a time online, you are only registering. So, when you get there you fall where you fall. Meaning you are put in the next available cue after all the other online registers or walk-ins.) So, I was told I would need to come in and be worked in accordingly. I feel this is poor practices for AFC. I feel there should be better policy. I understand this is a clinic, however, it should be no different than going to a PCP. I am still a patient, and a paying patient, which is irrelevant, whether paying or not the patient shouldnt feel like a number. Once finally able to get something scheduled online... still not sure how I was able to because the system stopped at a certain area in the process every time I tried to submit. Once at the location, I waited for about 1 1/2 hours to be called back. After getting in the room (my reason for being there is that I feel I have strep throat) I am told they do not have any rapid strep tests. So, I am tested for the flu and the snail mail version for strep, which takes several days to get results. I am assuming I do not have the flu, as the results were never discussed. So, I did get meds for strep and since my results will not be back for several days I was instructed to quarantine like I have strep and wait for my results. I have used 3 AFC locations over the past 4 years. I have always had a good experience, minus this visit. I realize this is a couple days after Christmas, I realize there is a lot of sick people, however, I am not sure how AFC ran out of rapid strep tests... does no one monitor the inventory? Also, I feel they need to do better at making sure when someone calls in (due to a faulty website) to make an appointment... REGISTER (because they do not schedule appointments), the person taking the calls should register the person calling in so that they do not have to wait to do this at the facility, which then puts their wait time further behind. This to me is a true disconnect with AFC. I hope this may help in the future to make the necessary corrections needed so no one else has to have this type experience. After all, patients do not go to a clinic just to have something to do. Theyre usually, sick, injured, etc. and shouldnt need to have road blocks in the way to get treatment.

If I could give a negative one star, I would. My appointment was at 2:45pm but, I was in the waiting room witnessing others whose times were after mine walking back to see the PA.So, I am finally called back an hour and 45 minutes later. The nurse who called me into the diagnostic room was very professional and friendly. But the PA Lindsey Brown was short and disinterested in the questions I was asking to her.I tested positive for Covid for the first time and I had a lot of questions regarding my health. Simply stated, for Linsey to be in a professional setting that deals with individuals whom are ill and possibly novice to their diagnosis, she literally displayed no emotional intelligence nor professionalism toward me. I completely felt 100% disrespected.I normally visit the AFC in fountain city but I now live closer to this Chapman location. Having expectations of every location being the same with providing their clients with professionalism and/or the basic fundamentals of common courtesy does not apply.I will not be a repeat patient at the Chapman location.

I went in with an infection in my teeth and horrendous pain. I was expecting the usual from an urgent care staff…super long wait, rude, contemptuous demeanors and no sympathy or even concern for my issue and my pain. But to my delight, this place is different! The front desk staff were on top of things and courteous. The nurse was quick to tend to me, she was kind, sweet and very gentle with a needle. 😊 The doc was Lindsey Brown (I think) and she was great. She was attentive, friendly, had a great smile, she was empathetic, thorough and professional. My meds were promptly called in to my pharmacy and all in all, I don’t think you could ask for a better experience when needing urgent medical care. 👍👍⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

N.p. Debbie was so very kind. She answered all my questions before leaving. Told me she hoped I felt better and even gave me a few samples of mucinex. The wait was a touch long, BUT it is flu season so it wont effect my score.

The ladies were phenomenal! The gal that drawled blood was spot on. Ive taken a d.o.t physical and a well check up and both times had good experiences. In and out less than a hour and a half!

Excellent service and compassionate care🥰. The facility was clean and well managed🤩. Be prepared to pay out of pocket if you have CIGNA insurance🙄, but at least it went towards my deductible🤑 Also they made sure I got my $150.00 worth of testing and service. I highly recommend this urgent care facility during those times you cant get to your primary doctor.

Went in told them my symptoms and what remedies I had tried and just couldnt feel better. Nurse recommended a flu test. After 45mins of waiting doctor came in. She said you have Flu B. I said, well glad to know what it is now. What can I do since Ive have had symptoms since Monday and Christmas coming. She said after a bit you cant take Theraflu is only for first 24hrs. I could write you a script for cough syrup, i reminded her my cough had subsided already and wouldnt need that. I asked what to do and how long will i be contagious? She then proceeded to tell me just to Google Flu B. My jaw hit the floor...so why am I paying you? Pretty much it was a worthless expense expect for the fact of the $30 test to learn I Flu B. Nicely put, maybe just worth it to Google vs going into this of a place of business.

This is my 2nd time using this place and they are fantabulous. From the receptionists to the medical staff, they are all compassionate and truly concerned about your health. Thank you for wonderful service.

Excellent, careful, thorough evaluation and care. My broken wrist from a fall was X-rayed, and splinted with referral to an orthopedic specialist. Bump on my head was also carefully examined and evaluated to be certain it was not serious. Care team listened to me carefully and took great care of me.

Went to AFC Urgent Care with severe sciatica when I was unable to get in to see my primary care provider. I was able to make an appointment and complete paperwork online prior to arrival. The staff was great from receptionist to clinical staff. They were extremely helpful, friendly, and highly professional. I highly recommend them.

Staff is very proficient. All are good communicators who treated me well. Excellent experience.

They very nice and caring. I didnt have to wait long because I went online and registered. That doesnt mean you will get in at that exact time, but it was better than walking in without doing. The girls at the counter were friendly and helpful. The attending girl in the back was great as was the doctor! I would recommend them to family and friends!

I went in for chest and throat issues and this was just a great experience (for being a Dr visit 😊). When I say the entire staff was a complete joy I truly mean it. The receptionists were actually having a good time talking with patients and with each other which gave me a really calm feeling. The nurse was great and caring and the Doctor well, she was awesome! She informed me of the super high pollen count this year which hadn’t normally affected me but, this year was different. This was my first visit there and I highly recommend this walk in clinic.

On an early Saturday morning, I went in with a sinus issue that had me messed up for a couple of days. The front staff was helpful and friendly. Fairly quickly, the nurse and doctor diagnosed that I had an acute sinus infection. A couple of prescriptions were issued and I was on my way. All in all, I’m and out in less than an hour.

The dr and nurse were both VERY nice and helpful. I came in very close to closing time think the sutures would only take a few minutes. It took a lot to get my finger numb. They ended up staying almost an hour late but was still just as nice and courteous as could be. Definitely would recommend them……

Highly impressed with the cleanliness, the efficiency of check in, the friendliness of the nurses and staff and the knowledgeable providers. I felt like they listened carefully and made a solid treatment plan. My child was pretty sick and had us very worried, but is now on the mend thanks to their care. I would highly recommend this urgent care and would like to send special thanks to their physician’s assistant, David. We received excellent care.

On 11/20/2023 I had a TB Skin test (to test for tuberculosis) done at a healthcare facility for pre-employment purposes. The facility stated that an urgent care place can check it in 2 days. I call AFC (Here at Chapman highway) and they said they could as long as I had the paperwork. I stated on the phone that the card I received from the health facility has all the information on it (Doctors contact, What lot my test was from, when it was done, and when it had to he checked, etc). At roughly just after 11/22/2023 8am (find camera footage if you have to) The day comes where it needs to be checked and the ladies behind the desk acted like they didnt tell me the card was enough and stated I had to bring the paperwork when originally they told me the card was enough (they tried to gaslight me into saying that I *have* to bring in paperwork when they told me the card was enough beforehand). They didnt even look at the card when I asked them to. They instead insisted multiple times without an attempt to look at the card that I go to Fast Pace Urgent Care which is somewhere near Kroger because AFC cant check it without paperwork. I went to Fast Pace Urgent Care and explained to them what happened at AFC and they were baffled by the fact that AFC Urgent Care treated me the way they did and did not check it for me. Fast Pace Urgent Care states that AFC were being very prudent in this regard and that they couldve checked it for me, which confirms that the ladies in AFC did not want to do their job. It costed me $150 to have it checked at Fast Pace, but I needed to have it checked that day since it was the day before Thanksgiving and you know how healthcare facilities are closed on that day. I was told by Fast Pace Urgent care that AFC wouldve done it cheaper, but you see that I still paid the $150 to get it checked by Fast Pace Urgent Care. If they wanted to lose business with me, whatever their loss.

Everyone I came in contact with was so kind, professional, understanding and most of all sympathetic. They LISTENED to what I was telling them and made sure I knew I was heard. Amazing staff. I went on 4-3-23, the staff that day were superb from start to finish. Dr Hughes, youre an angel!

Excellent care! In and out! I was scheduled to go to Fountain City. They called me because I needed an xray and transferred me to Chapman hwy office. Nice coordination on the staff’s part!

They were very nice and professional. The X-ray technician was wonderful. The doctor was thorough and kind. I had a tick that had been attached for a while. Thankfully they got it off and give me antibiotics. In and out in about 45 minutes.

AFC the wonderful job when I went in. They brought me straight back to make sure that what I have something they could treat instead of making me wait and for them to decide later. That impressed me greatly. I would have hated to have waited my turn just be turned away. But they made an assessment first. I greatly appreciate that initiative.

I went in to get a DOT Physical I love the fact that I dont need and appointment. You can pre check in online before you get there or you can do it all from your smart phone. Friendly staff and Doctor

My son and I have been to this urgent care twice in the past . And I was there this morning . There staff is absolutely wonderful . From the nurses to doctors to nurse practitioners . I would recommend this place to anyone . I have received nothing but great care here .

The staff and Janet, NP were very nice, knowledgeable, and helpful. They are getting so many patients per day. I believe I was the last patient there but was not rushed telling what symptoms I was having and everyone took their time with me.so I went back to afc clinic for a foot problem today. from start to finish everyone was so accommodating and very nice! I always get excellent care when I go there. oh, and big thank you to Miss Lindsey!!!!

Stopped in for a pre-employment drug test. I’m new to TN and had no idea what to expect about this organization. The front staff was very helpful, and Kim was incredibly patient, knowledgeable, and articulate throughout the process. Thank you all again.

My appointment was at 1.30. I got here at 1.09. I was called back at 1.15 to my room. I waited to 2.30 for a dr to see me and I just told the receptionist Im leaving and the two people in the lobby that was there after I got there were already gone.

The front desk receptionist Jordan was very rude on the phone. She was very short and treated me like I was an inconvenience to her by calling and requesting the physician possibly prescribe a different medication due to me being uncomfortable taking the first one because of the risk. She was very short with me and had no sense of professional communication skills what so ever. I would love for an office manager to call me so I could file a complaint on her.*** UPDATE THIS IS THE WORST PLACE TO GET ANY HELP!

AFC are a wonderful group of Healthcare providers. They listen to their patients and are thorough with their exams. I walked in without an appointment and it was no problem at all. They took my info and I filled out some online paperwork that was very simple to do. Was called back to a room and told the nurse the reason I was there and honestly within 10 to 15 mins the Dr came in and was so easy to talk to and I explained what was going on and she was so cool and understanding. I will definitely go back in the future for my Healthcare needs. I couldnt ask for a better experience going to the Dr!

This is a belated review. I was there about a year ago. Everyone treated me very well. The receptionists were awsome. With the exception of one of the nurses who walked me out. My overall experience was great. Pretty sure this was the clinic. If not enjoy the review. I was in a lot of pain and you all helped me ans showed compassion. Thank so much.

My experience was great from the moment I walked through the door until I left. The receptionist was very nice and helpful. The nursing staff were awesome. I saw Dr. Campbell and he was very nice and has a great bed side manner. You can tell he truly cares about his patients and loves being a doctor.I would definitely recommend AFC!

Long wait times, over 2 hours even when you make an appointment. I noticed they took people in order regardless of people making appointments. If I hadnt paid my copay upfront I would have left and gone somewhere else. The care once you were back was excellent.

We were recommended AFC by a friend, Our daughter had a sore throat/ horrible allergy season and she was miserable. The office administrative assistant was so nice and registration/ check in was from my phone once inside! How cool! The Nurse and PA once back was extremely observant! We will be back. Wait was extremely long!! It makes no sense to pre-register with an arrival time attached and then check in only to wait over 3 more hours. Service providers were friendly and helpful. Should seriously consider updating your appointment process.

Everyone at this clinic was so welcoming and efficient. As its a walk-in care clinic, you do expect to wait a bit. A gentleman came out and apologized individually to each person waiting and asked if wed like a bottle of water; that was a nice touch. The exam was professional and to the point; I left feeling taken care of.

I can’t recommend this place enough. Dr. Shepard was incredible. He was easy to talk to and helped make the whole experience go smoothly. I would even say I had a good time while I was there! The nurses and staff were amazing! I can’t remember my nurses name but she was so wonderful. The attendant at the front desk was very informative and upfront about wait times and costs and encouraged me to take care of my wound and to rest. It really couldn’t have been a better experience. The staff seemed to have an excellent rapport and worked together smoothly. I will definitely come here again if I have to have urgent care!

I’m pleased mildly with my visit. I was the 2nd patient but still took 2 hrs to get treatment. My printed discharge instructions were vague.

The dr was amazing. She gave my husband quick relief and prescriptions to get him back to 100% asap. The only down fall was we had to wait 3 hours for a 10 min visit. Overall though highly recommend.

Nikki, Tori and Wes were the best! Super kind and informative. I thought my leg was broken but they checked me out, got me an X-ray super quick and reassured me that it wasn’t. They made the atmosphere of the clinic comfortable and I felt like I was chatting with friends. Very pleased with my visit experience. 10/10 would definitely come back to this location.

Its flu season so the place had about 10 people ahead of me an hour after they opened. Cant blame them for that. The Doc and her assistant were incredibly kind and detailed. Put a smile on my face when I was sick so I give them 10/10.

Saw Doctor Lindsey and she was great and so where the ladies who assisted. Was very busy but they were able to get to you in a reasonable time! Thank you for your care when I am feeling my lowest!

I visited the facility on Chapman Hwy in Knoxville, TN. I was very pleased with how thoroughly my provider was. Terriest Haired, NP provider very excellent and thorough care to her patients. I would love to have her as my PCP.

Extremely clean and friendly. As a health care worker myself I know the job and working with the public is not easy. I was happily surprised by this wonderful facility and will definitely come back if I find myself or family in need of their care. When I left I called a fellow RN to brag on them. We both said we needed them to work with us! 😁

This is the second time Ive been to AFC. My nurse Nikki made the experience awesome. Both times Ive been there the staff has been great. In a perfect world wed always be able to see our primary care physician but as we all know things dont just happen Monday through Friday. If a weekend leaves you in pain or not feeling well do not hesitate to visit AFC. Wonderful staff! (And as a guy it doesnt hurt that the staff is extremely easy on the eyes!)

I’m well pleased with the quality of care that I received today. My left ear was stopped up & I couldn’t hear. I had both of my ears examined & cleaned of excess ear wax. The Receptionist/Secretary & Nurse Practitioner were friendly, professional & knowledgeable. The day after Thanksgiving was a busy time to be there! I had to wait two hours before I could get treated. Since this was my first visit, I’m not sure how long the wait may be some other time. Regardless, I would go again to this wonderful Clinic!

Was my first time to go here,but I will definitely go again if a health need occurs and I want/need to be seen quicker than waiting for appointment at my primary doctors office. The check-in was quick and easy for a first timer like me. The front desk staff was very friendly and efficient,explaining everything. The tech who took me to exam room and checked me in was super friendly and cheerful,with good sense of humor. She put me at ease quickly. I had a short wait before being taken back because of several other patients ahead of me,but was about 20 minutes,which I dont think was too long. I didnt have a major problem,like bleeding or broken bone,so was ok with me. In exam room,I didnt wait but about 2 minutes before the nurse practitioner came in. I liked her too! Very cheerful, friendly,and professional,and did thorough evaluation and exam,and prescribed medication to treat the health problem I had. I couldnt have waited til next day to see my primary doctor, AND this urgent care clinic was a lot closer than my drs medical groups walk-in clinic. All in all,it was a very good experience and I was very impressed with the entire process. All the areas,rooms,hallways,were clean,bright,and no odors. All the staff were friendly and helpful and eased me through it all. I definitely recommend this Urgent Care Clinic if you ever have a need for one. Youre not treated as a number,but as a person with a health issue needing to be addressed sooner rather than later that doesnt require a hospital E.R. visit,or can be in place of said visit. The clinic Does close at 8pm,though,so keep that in mind if its a late night problem .

I made an appt with Urgent Care yesterday and was seen immediately (within 30 minutes). They ran 3 tests, got results, was sent home with Rxs and am now waiting to feel better! Great service, great attention and great help....cant ask for better than that! Thank you so much AFC UC!!❤

Best visit ever I was there for a total of 15 minutes. Very professional. Taylor hands down the best person who has ever given me shots. I didnt even feel the bandage go on. She is amazing!! The doctor was amazing as well. Thank you so much for taking great care of me.

Have been to this facility a few times now and they are great. My primary care Doctor is such a long drive and when your sick driving a long way is not easy. The staff is friendly and mindfull that you dont feel good. Usually in and out in less than an hour. The Doctors have always been up front and explain things openly. Could not ask for better care. This was my third attempt that day to get seen for an upper respiratory infection. (3 different places)They were organized and friendly despite having a lot of patients. They got me in, assessed my situation, made additional suggestions to follow up and sent my prescription. Good job!

Visited AFC Urgent Care on Chapman Highway again today. I felt very comfortable with the health and safety precautions they have in place. Although I did have to wait for about an hour and 1/2 as a walk-in patient...I actually got in sooner than estimated! All staff were courteous, professional and efficient. So thankful for this clinic, the doctors and all of their support staff! I will definitely return again if the need arises...just as I did today!

AFC took care of my health issues and also stepped up and checked me for COVID, flu and strep. Yes, all fabulous. There is a wait time because each person coming in is a priority. Hello, I live in South Knoxville and walked in with no appointment was greeted by the front desk person and she was helpful and kind.It was no time that I was in and was seen by Tori who was very professional, kind, knowledgeable and very helpful.Wes, also, was very professional, knowledgeable and took his time to hear me and explain my symptoms.I definitely will continue with this location. The staff is great. 5 stars 🌟 for sure.
