I went to 3 different hospitals before being referred to Dr Futoran and Dr Stephanie. Henderson Hospital let me suffer a mass I carried for 3 years and 5 mos and two blood transfusions. Two other hospitals rejected me. My gynecologist Dr Tyre referred me after witnessing what Henderson wasnt acknowledging. Dr Futoran was the only one who knew what was going on and what to do, he and Dr Stephanie gave me options and I finally found out what was wrong, Im so glad they removed a mass that was crowning for 3 years and 5 months and causing severe bleeding. After the procedure I instantly felt better. Im super grateful.

I could not have prayed for a better Dr. He was my emergency dr. I had no clue I had Endometrial Cancer, until I was at Desert Springs ER, I was transferred to Summerlin, and they told me there was a Dr that would be able to do the cancer surgery and was the best, after 1 more transfer, to Sunrise, where he was, Dr. Futoran and his team at sunrise, not only treated me as a human, and not just another number, they were by my side for my total hysterectomy and explaining with caring words. I am so lucky to have such an amazing Dr and team. I will always recommend him! Thank you Dr Futoran, Dr. Stiff, & Dr. Shaffer at Sunrise, and his office staff, I am so appreciative, and so lucky.

My wife needed emergency surgery at UMC for ovarian cancer in October 2023, the surgery performed by Dr. Futoran has helped to extend my wifes life and she has been undergoing continued chemo treatments which have been very effective at halting the spread of her cancer and has been shrinking the cancer mass.

Dr Futoran did my complete hysterectomy and I am so grateful for him and his gift. He is 85 years old and still wants to see medicine change for the better. So he will most likely have to die to stop working. He cares so much about what he is doing and he loves helping. He gives you his personal cell phone number (which I had to use about 3 times post op) and he answers or responds within 30 min 1 hour. He giggles a lot and there are reviews on here that people are offended by that. I actually LOVE that. He was so lighthearted and giggly in the hospital before surgery and it made me feel so good. He’s just the sweetest! His office staff are difficult at times and Ivana was actually super discouraging to work with. She dropped the ball multiple times with my surgeries but it is hard to find and keep a good staff. So i dont look too far into that. Dr Futoran is worth it!! He is a gift for sure

Dr. Futoran did my surgery in the year 2000. Cancer had spread. I had Ovarian cancer. Yes I had pain. But it is October 2022. He saved my life. I thank God for that every morning.His staff were always helpful. He was always truthful.

Personally, I love Dr. Futoran. Within an emergency room intake, he was phoned by personnel, whereby his expertise as a skilled Surgeon saved my life. This is the ONLY PHYSICIAN in the metro, Lasvegas area that I completely TRUST! THIS PHYSICIAN goes beyond the Call of Duty in his endeavors. I highly RECOMMEND Dr. Futoran for the services within the Ob-Gyn practice. Thank you, Dr. Futoran, for ALL that youve done for me. It is an HONOR to be a client in your practice.

Worst experience of my life! I went in with a mass on my pelvis and ended up with full hysterectomy plus some. Come to find out after my surgery I hear the nurses call him the butcher. Complications shortly after surgery. Futoran left his team to tend to me which only ended up leaving me in worse condition with horrible scars since one of them took my staples out too early which resulted in me bleeding out and wound vac being used to close my stomach. Stay away!

Dr. Futoran is the best doctor I’ve had and best in his field. I had a giant ovarian cyst and tumor, about a year and half ago and I couldn’t have been in better hands. I’m very glad and lucky I got referred to him. He is very good at what he does, he’s knowledgeable, he is fast at getting you into surgery, he truly cares about his patients, and I always felt comfortable. God Bless you Dr. Futoran!

One of the BEST surgeons hands down!! Very personable , and thats very important to me. My surgery was a success with no pains or complications, none whatsoever!! One hour after surgery I was walking. I did about ten laps feeling awesome!! You couldnt tell that I had surgery unless you looked at my tummy! Its week seven, and I still feel like a million dollars!!! I highly recommend Dr Futoran!! 😊

Im so glad I was referred to Dr Futoran. He was very knowledgeable, compassionate, and made me feel I was in good hands. He took the time to explain everything to me. He answered all my questions. He also included my husband in the consultation. We were very nervous going into the appointment but when we left we felt like we were in good hands. Dr. Futoran is the best Dr. love him! He’s been my Docter for years! His staff Ivana they may consider removing her from office! She has no compassion whatsoever does not care and that’s not good for Dr. Futoran because he’s a great fabulous doctor and I’ve always come to him whenever I needed him so I would consider the office people not OK they used to be but not now so I don’t know what happened with their office staff the rest of them seem to be fine Monica and there’s a gentleman there and they all great but I would very much go somewhere they treat you right but Dr. Futoran is worth the wait to see and he’s worth it if you can get past this woman!

Monica demonstrated the most unprofessional conduct I have ever experienced. Having a very large staff, if one of my employees treated a patient this way they would be terminated immediately.All of my calls are recorded and I will be forwarding it to the Better Business Bureau.The manner in which she spoke to me was repulsive and is outrageous.

Worst Medical service by a doctor. My mom went in for PET scan results (cancer) and 20 seconds in the examination room was told she had a tumor the size of two hands put together to become a circle and can operate on my mom but would have to take her bladder out then walked out. Left with questions, I ask him exactly what was on the scan results and not wanting he open the file and explain a bit more that what he said. I asked about the operation he told me about and said he was not going to do it and that my mother had 6 months to live. There is plenty more where this came from. Im a nurse myself and worked with doctors. Definitely no service at all. Staff was great though.

Dr. Futoran is skilled. I had surgery last year. When I woke up I wasn’t in any pain at all. I actually questioned if I had surgery. His staff is kind.

I was sent to Dr. Futorans office for a 2nd opinion on my biopsy results. I had no choice in my referral because I was on Medicaid after losing my job.I have now had a total of three (3) separate visits/encounters with Dr. Futoran and one with his resident, Dr. Hom. All have left me with an unpleasant taste in my mouth.1) Initial visit. He LAUGHED when I asked if there were other options besides hysterectomy. I was as crystal clear as I could be that if at all possible, I wanted desperately to keep my ovaries and not be thrust into menopause at only 46. He assured me that it would only be a Possible oophorectomy. When he brought me into exam room and started discussing surgery. I told him that during my last fibroid surgery they had tried unsuccessfully laparoscopically and ended up having to go through my abdomen and that I wanted to avoid additional excess keloidal scarring from both again. He looked at his resident and asked Why couldnt they do it laparoscopically? She gave a blank stare. He responded chuckling Because They couldnt do it.RESIDENT DR HOMIn hospital after surgery, she came in and told me removed Everything. When she said ovaries, I broke down sobbing (which was extremely painful) asking why, what did they find? She said nothing that it was just a precaution and then she callously said Well you were going to go through menopause in another 2 or years anyway. First of all she had no way at all of knowing that for certain. And even if she did, it was another 2 to 3 YEARS.!!! She made it sound like only months. But, at least She didnt laugh at me.2) DR FUTORAN in the hospital when he was making rounds after Dr Hom had already told me, I told Dr Futoran that if he knew he was just going to take everything as a precaution, then he should have told me that initially and set the right expectations. Said that I was mad at him and devastated to be going through menopause. He offered no apology, sympathy, nothing. He just laughed and said you can be mad. During his visit, the nurses reported my belly sounds as hypotensive. He LAUGHED and corrected them saying its either absent, or normal. When he left the room, the nurses said hes a wonderful doctor, but he should never have said that bc thats a diagnosis, which is outside their scope of practice. To me, regardless even if he felt that way he shouldnt have said it in my presence. That it undermined the nursing staff.3) Post op visit. When I asked why it hurt so much more after getting home, he again LAUGHED and said bc youre moving more at home.I dont know if it was because of my sex, race, Medicaid status or because hes just another arrogant, cocky surgeon with a God complex who cant be bothered with the actual concerns, fears, feelings of the mere mortals on whom he operates, but I THINK DR FUTORAN IS CONDESCENDING AND DISMISSIVE AND THAT HE GETS OFF ON EMBARRASSING PEOPLE ALL UNDER THE GUISE OF TEACHING/MENTORINGOf course its already scary enough being referred to an Oncologist. But, I actually feel traumatized.

NOT paying you for assisting my doctor during my surgery. I did NOT consult you. Cheryl Brewer consulted you . My contract and insurance was with my doctor, Cheryl Brewer. I am NOT responsible for paying you -Doctor Brewer should pay you because she ask for assistance not me. Unfortunately you will hear from my attorney on this matter if this bill is not sent to the establishment who consulted you to assist.I also have no problems writing the board and whoever else. I am sadden by this bill - not fair to the patient ! You are a nice guy but I dont owe you jack.

This Dr and his team saved my life they were amazing I am very thankful to they took my case and could have not had a better team to care for me. I was diagnosed with a huge mass on my ovary that needed to be out ASAP was flown here from Blythe ca. And got THE BEST CARE ever!!!!!

Dr. Lets just take the whole thing out - has a heavy reputation for a preference of just yanking stuff out even if part of the system is working. My experience: fibroid on ONE ovary and his professional opinion was a FULL hysterectomy. Guess you dont get paid as much for doing one ovary as opposed to a full hysterectomy. Dr. Frankenstein at best. STAY AWAY.

Dr Futoran was my mothers Cancer surgeon, he is an EXCELLENT DOCTOR!Saved my mothers live as far as I am concerned. You couldnt be in better hands.

Hes a very direct no nonsense kind of doctor. When he diagnosed me he didnt hold back. He answered my questions truthfully & said we needed to move quickly. We did and Im alive and feel great.

Dr Robert Futoran treated me, in 1974, at Cedar/Sinai Hospital, and he saved my life…..I had Cervical Cancer, and he found it, and I’m still here.I am forever thankful.

Spoke with Monica. Super rude and derogatory, and they just lost a potential patient. If she keeps this up they will lose an abundance of potential clients.
