Dr. Monroe is a capable and efficient yet gentle and caring doctor. I went to her after not having been to a gynecologist for quite a while and she was very encouraging that I was now taking care of my health. She addressed the screenings I needed to catch up on and my questions plainly and professionally. Dr. Monroe made the referrals I needed efficiently and her office staff got them faxed over that day.The only downside is that she has a very busy office and the wait time was long on the day I was there. However, she had a very interesting speaker on women’s health on the TV in the waiting room from whom I learned a lot.

I’ve been with Dr Monroe over 10 years. I’ve had several struggles both with hormone imbalances and personal issues. Dr Monroe has been right by my side all the way. She’s absolutely amazing and I would highly recommend her.

Dr. Monroe is one of a very small percentage of doctors who not only understands women’s health & hormones but knows what to do to help women suffering at this stage in life. She will get to the root of the problem instead of prescribing a bandaid. From my first appointment I knew I was in the best hands. She is personable, listens, has empathy, experience & knowledge. Her staff is also great. Because of her expertise there is a long wait to get an appointment but being able to be under her care is well worth it. My husband booked an appointment as she helps men too. I’m telling all my friends about her.

I’ve been a happy patient of Dr. Maribel Monroe for almost 15 years. I don’t think there’s anything else I have to say. I would highly recommend her to my family and friends. She’s the best.

Although the wait was a very long wait, it was still really nice to get to speak with Dr. Monroe. She actually listened to me. She wanted to know a little bit more about me and she recommended test that no other doctor would. She was also very knowledgeable.

I was with one GYN for 20 years. When I began menopause, I learned that most GYNs do not have much of an understanding on how to treat women at this time of life nor do they want to hear what I have researched through reputable sources. I read reviews on Dr. Monroe and decided to try her after 5 years of searching in Vegas for someone that would be interested in what I was wanting for my own healthcare.My search was extremely frustrating as most doctors follow very old and bad research and wont listen to any other views. Most doctors only want to treat symptoms of menopause using medications instead of treating the source. Dr. Monroe was completely like minded with me on this as takes a more holistic approach if that is what the patient desires. She is very kind, compassionate and knowledgeable and so is her staff.Many of my friends are also going through what I have gone through and I have been telling everyone about her. It is finally great to be heard by my doctor!One more note: She was running behind so I received a text letting me know so that I didnt have to wait in her office to be seen. I very much appreciated that!

I am so happy to find Dr Monroe. I am so happy with all my female problem that I recommended her to 4 of my coworkers. She’s the only Dr who found a solution as to why I was having severe hair loss. I highly recommend her.

Unfortunately, I had to take down my 5 star review and give negative 25 stars if I could… let me start by this office is FULL OF MALPRACTICE! I went from happy independent girl, to completely miserable and dependent on my partner in a matter of weeks. I have never seen such incompetency in the entire medical field and I work in it!! Who the heck is running this office!? Oh, that’s right, it’s this lady Shari who has no idea how the heck to do her job, and won’t even let you speak to a doctor. To start with the saga, I had a surgery, then had complications, Dr. Monroe was doing her best to fix things and get me out of agonizing pain. It was suggested that I come with my partner (as I have a fainting disorder) for an IV infusion during my menstrual cycle. So I did that for the first time on April 3rd, which I did not even see Dr. Monroe that day, as I had my follow up on April 10th. On April 9th, Shari called me at 4:49p (of course right before they close because she’s so incompetent) to cancel my appointment and ask if I’ve received the letter they sent which I never check my mail, so no. She claimed they were discharging me from the practice with no explanation and I tried to ask her why because I was in the middle of receiving treatment from a surgery? And I’ve never had an issue with this office(until this point obviously)? I asked her if I could speak to Dr. Monroe (which Shari replied in her snarky accent “well that’s not gonna happen!!”) as I had no idea where to go from given they just canceled my follow up and basically violated law by not providing 30 days of ongoing care while I find another provider and failed to follow up after starting a new medication. Shari claimed to call me the next day, which she did not, and it took multiple phone calls to even get the high on the job front desk girl (literally no concept of reality, probably doesn’t even know she’s at work) to answer the phone which she did practically nothing when I asked for Dr. Monroe to call me, no calls obviously. The front desk girl told me I could pick up my medical records the next day after 12 noon. I showed up the next day and asked for my records and she tried to give me crap that they were mailed out yesterday, I said no, that’s not gonna work, you can give them to me right now, so I waited for them (guess they weren’t expecting me to actually show up, don’t play me losers). I got home, they were incomplete. The ones they mailed me, were incomplete. The ones they faxed to my work (I work in a medical office) were incomplete (took them 10 days to even send them, clearly can’t do their job). Given the circumstances, I rushed to my boss’s obgyn to be established with someone as the surgery complication was progressing and it had now been 4 months (3 ER visits) of intense pain with zero progress, aside from the IV. Even with my incomplete records, she was able to put together where this pain was coming from, told me she does not perform that surgery, cannot help me, and referred me to a doctor that specializes in that type of surgery, which was another month wait. As 6 months after the initial onset, I am still waiting for treatment. This office has some serious incompetency, and they are ALL legally liable from the front desk girl, to boss lady Shari, and unfortunately lousy Dr. Monroe in hiring the worst staff I have ever seen. They will all be liable in paying all the medical bills and missed work (if I need anymore time off, it’s short term disability, my honeymoon PTO is gone as I’m now in negative PTO with my job and I get 3 weeks PTO regularly) that I’ve acquired due to their incompetency.

Dr. Monroe has been so amazing in helping me try to get back to feeling normal after I had twin girls one year ago. She really cares about her patients and I’m so glad I found her. My mom and aunt are also patients here and have nothing but great things to say!

I had an initial visit with Dr Monroe on Jan 22, 2024. She was kind, knowledgeable, easy to talk too and very helpful. Her staff was nice and also helpful when it came to insurance coverage etc. I am an out of network provider currently but Dr Monroe came highly recommended so I thought it was worth a try. I am so grateful I made the appointment.

I came to Dr. Monroe because a family friend recommended her and now highly recommend her to my family too. She is the first doctor who actually listens to you and takes her time with you. She really tries to get to the bottom of things without leaving you guessing and doesn’t just prescribe medication. I had a scheduled appointment at 12 PM, and I arrived ten minutes early. Upon arrival, I was disappointed by the lack of acknowledgment or interaction from the staff. I had to take the initiative to inquire about any necessary paperwork, which I then completed. Despite asking about the estimated wait time, I was informed that there was no ETA available. As a result, I ended up waiting until 12:40 PM before deciding to leave. Overall, the experience fell short of expectations in terms of communication and customer service.Additionally, it’s worth noting that they offer free B12 shots in exchange for Google reviews, so it’s important to take some reviews with a grain of salt.

My wife and I visit Dr Monroe at least twice a year. She is essentially our family doctor,keeping up with our bloodwork and all other tests we might need. She takes a holistic approach to medicine which we love- she is not pill oriented, but tends toward natural medicine, proper supplements and good nutrition. We feel she has helped keep us healthy and vibrant. In addition she has done post operative care after surgerieswhich was a huge help in recovery. There is no one else in town we would recommend for quality health care.

Ive been seeing Dr Monroe for about 6 years. I go for my bio identical HRT. When I first started I noticed it wasnt your typical GYN office and quickly discovered it was mainly a spa type office that caters to both men and women seeking youth. I was suffering terribly from menopause so I went ahead and stuck with this office in spite of all the red flags! The office is ran so poorly and so is the care I receive. They dont ever follow through on any tests. Im always having to chase down my refills of my HRT cream and so is my pharmacy. Its gotten so bad that Im questioning why I even stay with this Dr whos main objective is to upssale supplements and test that she gets a kick back from, shes called in wrong scripts for me and then blamed the pharmacy, every time Im qualified for 6 miths of refill on my hrt Im having to call repeatedly because they hold it hostage. They NEVER answer the phones nor call you back, it is such an unprofessional and poorly ran office. Why chose this office and get treated so poorly when there are so many options for much better health care that can also prescribe bio identical medications.

Dr. Monroe and her staff are always very attentive to the needs of their patients. I have been remaining her patient for more than a decade as all my problems were always resolved and I could get a personalized care during every visit. The office atmosphere is very nice, the staff is polite .

I’ve been seeing Dr. Monroe for over 4 years now. My experience with Dr. Monroe has been nothing but beneficial to my health as I go through menopause. When something new comes up she addresses it right away. I took a bone density scan and it showed I have osteopenia at age 52, she immediately put me on calcium supplements and D3 for preventive measures. Great bedside manner, very professional , lovely personality, and very innovative. I get all my infusions (glutathione) here, she’s changed my entire health routine for the better. I’ve been lucky and she has corrected a lot my health issues and I thank her for that. Had no idea my thyroid was out of wack, lowest iron levels my entire life and she was the one who finally told me this was the reasoning behind a lot of issues I was having. Which are all now corrected because of Dr. Monroe. Not to mention hormone replacement therapy has saved my sanity!

I can wait for several minutes and then be prompted to leave a voicemail, which they do not return. I wish there was a way to make and cancel appointments online to avoid calling back several times before reaching the office.

I went to see Dr. Maribel yesterday and it was the best experience I ever had with a doctor I immediately want to switch my physician lol she’s super nice, super understanding and she explain everything make sure that you get it and really care about your health. and on top of that everyone who worked there is super nice and friendly.

It may take a little longer to get in, but the wait is certainly worth it. Dr. Monroe is kind, efficient, and thorough. She takes the time to speak with you and really listens and cares about all of your concerns or questions. I can honestly say that she made my visit much more pleasant than I thought it would be! I wish she wasnt on the other side of town but its been worth driving to. She is kind and listens to you and will always try a natural path to remedy before anything else. The only doctor in Las Vegas I could find who takes a holistic approach and works with real hormonal therapy. Dr Monroe’s goal is to keep you healthy and young. Not fill you up with pharmaceutical drugs like most insurance doctors. I highly recommend her.

Today 8/2/23, is my first appointment with Dr. Maribel Monroe. I’m from New Jersey and I’m looking to establish a gynecologist here in Las Vegas. She’s half an hour away from my home and she’s worth the travel. She explained my bloodwork results, and explained why I needed more tests in my age. Dr. Monroe is great and and knowledgeable and I felt very comfortable with her. I would have given 5 stars but the scheduling was challenging. The soonest appointment was 2 months away, which i scheduled, then I called to see if there were any cancellations so I could be seen sooner, and discovered my appointment was not booked in their system. They gave me an appointment a few days after my originally discussed appointment, then a couple weeks before they canceled it it due to vacation scheduling. i got about 6 different reminder texts and the office was running late but I appreciated they called me to let me know. I got referrals for lab work and mammogram. Dr and staff were all great and this would have been 5 stars except for the minor scheduling issues.

I LOVE ❤️ Dr.Maribell Monroe, and her amazingly compassionate staff. I am 49 years old and I’ve had a full hysterectomy. Hot flashes every 45 minutes! Dr.M provided the best option for hormone replacement and I’ve been getting BioIdentical hormone pellets now for 2 years and I couldn’t be happier! I’ve been going to Dr Monroe’s office for a couple years now. For all you men out there, she is concerned and treats us guys for our hormonal needs too! Not just a great GYN but Testosterone therapy is her specialty too.. Testosterone therapy is critical and she is very thorough with bloodwork and our daily lifestyles. Worth the wait. While it’s quite difficult to get an appointment, Dr. Monroe has a thorough and unique approach to health. I appreciate the fact that she investigates the issues and finds solutions to treat the problems rather than just treating the symptoms.

Dr Monroe did the most complete blood work-up I have ever had done by an MD, more along the lines of what I would expect from a Functional Medical or Naturpathic Doctor. During the analysis, she gave me so much insight into what was going on with my body. Through this time when I am transitioning hormonally, and trying to find natural and bio-identical solutions to find balance, it’s great to have such a knowledgeable physician to consult with that offers a full range of options.

Ive been coming to see Dr Monroe for several years. She has helped me with all my feminine needs as well anti-aging. She takes her time and listens to her patients needs. Couldnt ask for a better doctor. Oh!! She has also helped my husband as well!!

We have just started going to Dr. Monroe but so far our experience has been great. She is trying to help us be as healthy as possible with using natural products that dont have so many horrible side effects. The staff has been great. Ive called several times with questions and always gotten my questions answered promptly (of course, I realize they have to speak with the Dr to get my answers---and Ive always received a return call that day). I am in the medical profession and my husband and I have had lots of experience with doctors----both Dr. Monroe and her staff have been exceptional.

I was referred to this practice by my friend and I’m so happy that I was. I have had such incredible results with my HRT that even my husband was thankful. The staff when I first started was definitely subpar but the office appears to have some new staff who are happy and welcoming which makes me feel better about the 40 minute trek across town to be here. Every experience is getting better. I definitely recommend Dr. Monroe for women going through menopause.

When Dr Monroe was solo it seemed you got more care. PA are nice. Being charged for a Dr appt for procedure and also be charged another fee to hear test results. Sad to say after 10 yrs Ill be seeking another obgyn. They front staff no matter how many times I changed my phone number and info on page they give you, they never changed it. And never answer the phones. Feel she grew her practice so big she is out of touch with patients.

I literally have to drive there to make an appointment because the staff does not answer the phone. Im supposed to have iron infusion done, but my blood pressure has been to high, due to an antidepressant Ive been taking. The infusion pharmacy has been trying to contact them, by fax as well but to no avail. So I had to cancel. If it wasnt for Dr. Monroe I wouldnt be going back. I wonder if she is aware of this.

Terrible, way too busy. Always canceling appointments. 4th time canceled today and I have been waiting for this appointment over 6 months. Its just ridiculous!!Update: terrible customer service, the doctor would only treat you right if you buy all her creams or overpriced vitamins. The duty of care is not precisely a priority for this doctor.

Great doctor focuses on health and well-being with proper nutrition. Shes a great OB and surgeon.On the other hand she gets one star because she has the worst support staff in the industry. Ive seen them replaced several times but I dont think this temp agency is working out for her.She also has an office manager that doesnt know how to charge insurance. They try collecting co-pays when you dont have one. They also send bill after bill after bill to your home without billing insurance first.The front desk girls are always on their personal phones or talking to each other while patients sit there waiting to be checked in or checked out.Dr. Monroes PAs cannot fill-out prior authorization or medical necessity forms correctly, after trying several times I was denied services by my insurance.Her office also doesnt return phone calls or messages left on their phone system.Great doctor, really liked her friend PA that came to visit from another state to help her with all the mess in her office but this isnt working for me anymore.

Dr. Monroe is the best Doctor I have ever had in my entire life! My daughter is also her patient now as well. She was highly recommended by a Pharmacist in Summerlin for Bio-Identical Hormone Therapy. She helped me with awful migraine headaches and regulated my thyroid better than anyone ever has. She is very thorough! She does not miss anything. She spends quality time with her patients unlike most doctors. I have worked in the medical field and most doctors want to see as many patients in a day as possible! She is not like that. She is very caring. I have learned so much from her in the past several years. She is amazing!!!

Truly amazing human! She’s a genius and has a GREAT bedside manner!! Very personable and gorgeous, so she applies what she prescribes; backed with a lot of knowledge on female hormones… I would suggest her to any female needing a female who gets the struggle with getting the right amount of bio identicals/hormone replacement to age gracefully and get their hormones straight so we can all have the best quality of life in the second half of our lives! I would give a zero star if I could. My mom has had so many issues with this office. She went from raving about how great they were to hating this office now. They never call her back on her referrals. We always have to track them down for it and then they say oh we will fix that and give you a call. They never to. She had a surgery scheduled for Monday May 30. She had already requested her days at work for the surgery and were approved. They call her today saying oh the doctor cant do your surgery and we will have to reschedule she saw barely that it was memorial day weekend. No she isnt getting the surgery she critically needs it and then she lost those days she requested. They play to much and are so unorganized. I would not recommend this office.

Dr. Monroe is thorough and uses innovative technology during her exams. She cares about all women and their bodies, especially hormonal condition as women get older. The office staff is friendly and professional. The space is quiet.

I love this office! The staff are super nice and so is Emily the PA! The girls at the front are constantly running around but when you ask them anything they take the time to really talk to you and make you feel like they’re there to help. I know getting through on the phones is hard but they always look super busy so just leave a message that’s what I do and they’ve always gotten back to me! I was a patient there in 2021. I was supposed to have a Leep procedure and did not find out that the clinic never scheduled it until I showed up to Summerlin Hospital for the surgery. The office staff is absolute untrained garbage. A bill was just sent to my home in my husbands name detailing my medical history and asking for payment for the follow up visit to the surgery that never happened. These people are idiots and unprofessional. How dare you send my personal information to my husband? No woman should feel safe going to this clinic.

Dr. Monroe has extensive knowledge in hormonal treatment and balance. She has improved my quality of life greatly with her evaluation and corrections of my hormonal and nutritional deficiencies. I admire and respect her as a physician and dont want to see any other physician. Unfortunately, she has the rudest, most unprofessional staff (most specifically front office staff). Ive had multiple frustrating experiences of waiting to be helped while front office staff surf the web, put on their makeup at the front desk, sit and talk about personal issues, flip through pictures of personal activities together, speak loudly and rudely to patients on the phone, roll their eyes at patients, even argue with patients on the phone and then cut them off by putting them on hold for long periods of time, and basically put the patient (their customer) LAST PRIORITY, consistently. The front desk staff speaks rudely to patients with an arrogance unfitting of a great office. As a former medical assistant and office manager, I judge this as unacceptable behavior for a medical office that has so much potential and yet is losing the trust and respect of their patients and community by their lack of business etiquette and customer service. Dr. Monroe is amazing but, sadly, I will be finding another physician and staff who will treat my spouse and me with the professionalism we desire.

Dr Monroe is caring and SMART! She has turned my life around I have energy like I did in my 30s! Dr Monroe is trying to find staff and make her office a pleasant place to come. I went there to get an IV. The staff is very nice and accommodating. The medical assistant that work there, hazel, was very friendly and made the process quick and easy. Also Bianca who did the IV for me made the process easy and I barely felt a pinch when she put the needle in.

Have never had a negative experience. Very caring and attentive staff. Knowledge physician and practitioners. No the typical experience, they care about treating and resolving issues, not masking symptoms. I highly recommend her practice to anyone interested in their health.

As someone who has trust issues with my body based on personal reasons, I was very scared and nervous to come in. I was never taught that this stuff was important until speaking with peers and learned. I had previously gone to an OBGyn who my Dr referred and he was a male, however like I previously mentioned I have trust issues, and unfortunately, there were no female OBGyns. I went to him twice and was losing more trust based on my comfort. He asked how old I was and if I should start making babies at my age, and I told him repeatedly I am not interested yet, I still have things to do and this man continued pressuring me to have a child right now. I was already super uncomfortable so finding a new OBGyn was scary until I met Dr. Monroe. She was so sweet and caring and made me feel so comfortable. I dont think its just because of her gender but her demeanor is just someone who actually cares for her patients and is soooo helpful with educating clients who are like me and have no clue what is going on and how it works. Im so thankful to have her as my doctor!

Anytime I call I have to call at least 3 times to even get someone to speak to me then be left on hold for 20 mins for it to go to voicemail. They try t on get you in as much as they can to collect their copay and never care about the patient. I’ve had surgery from Dr. Monroe and I did not feel safe or comfortable during the entire process. Afterwards she even made me feel worse by saying things a doctor should say to a patient.

Done... I have been seeing Dr. Monroe since 2015. The last year and a half Dr. Monroe went from being a really good Obstetrician- Gynecologist to being more concerned about your appearance. Which is apparent when you walk in the office and what is portrayed on the website. Aesthetics is listed first and womens health is listed last. It is true her front office staff is the most incompetent people I have ever dealt with at a doctors office, but I could overlook it because I appreciated Dr. Monroe; however I know longer can say that.

This is the first time a obgyn has ever given me a option for hormones without birth control. She listened to me the entire time this is a first for me. I feel like I am getting the best care I could ask for.

Save yourself time and energy, and dont apply for a job here!! One of the girls from the front desk called me on Tuesday Jan 4th inviting me to come in for an interview the following day. She called me the morning after my interview inviting me to come meet Dr. Monroe. So on Thursday Jan 6th I went back to the office to meet her, I also ended up meeting the office manager. When I left I was told they would be calling me in a few hours, they then offered me the job and asked me to start today. I was actually really looking forward to it, from the research I had done online about Dr. Monroes beliefs and practices it seemed like it would be an amazing environment. At first I was charmed by the atmosphere set in the office, from the music to the diffuser, it was all very relaxing, and almost put me to sleep. I would like to shed some light on why phone calls are rarely ever answered... the phones do not ring with a normal tone, instead it is very quite beeping tone, very easy to ignore. I have worked in a couple other medical offices and I felt like something was missing, however because i was being practically hypnotized by the music it took me almost the whole day to realize... THE PHONES DO NOT RING!! Looking at the wall of supplements I thought wow, a doctor who actually wants people to be healthy then I thought to myself how atrocious it was, charging 50$ for a bottle of supplements (Undoubtedly a 100% markup) and you dont even know what is in them. This is like the worst combination of a pyramid scheme and a doctor the other offices I have worked in provide patients free samples of prescription medications at no cost to them. Now I realize supplements cannot be billed through insurance, but you should not charge someone 50$ for something that may not even be beneficial for them. I shadowed the check-in girl today. She had me follow her around showing me how to do everything and she seems nice enough, but she constantly has her phone on her. During the day I felt the energy shift, it seemed like she stopped focusing on trying to train me and kind of just let everything play out. At around 3pm the office manager pulled me back into her office and much to my surprise told me they would be letting me go after ONE day. Instead of trying to correct any mistake they thought I had made and giving me at least one more chance. When I asked for a reason I did not receive any constructive feedback, the office manager said its just like a gel thing what does that even mean? are you a teenager or a grown woman? However after reading all the other reviews on here I am glad they did because I would not want to represent this horrendous organization. Thank you for showing me the kind of doctors office I do not want to work for, and I hope any prospective patients who read this and decide not to waste their time either. I wish I could write a review with zero stars.

Super unhappy with the level of care. Never even introduced to the doctor, just shuffled around between (I guess) nurse practitioners. Can’t get through to the front office even during business hours. Extremely lucky if you ever get a script called in for refill.

Dr. Monroes office has ABSOLUTELY THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!! The girls in the front say theyll call you back or someone will call you back and 9/10 times no one ever does. I was going to her office for over a year and what the last straw for me was they scheduled me for an appointment and I showed up the day/time it was scheduled and their office was closed. Not one person in that office called me to let me know that there mightve been a mistake in the scheduling or if they had to move the appointment... which brings me to the next thing, I dont know if they moved that appointment around to another date and didnt tell me or if they just made an appointment without me knowing, but I got a bill in the mail last week and they want to charge me $30 for an appointment that I had no idea was scheduled. It gets even worse... I call the office, not one person in the front office, not even the office manager can give me a straight answer as to what happened. Before there was a lady that came in a few days during the week to do their billing, but now they are saying its a third-party service that does it and no one comes into the office to do it. The ladies in the front office told me someone might call you back from billing. How are you going to tell a customer/patient that someone MIGHT call you back???? Then when I ask them on the statement I received it says the supposed no show payment (even the appt. never existed) is getting sent to Dr. Monroes office, so how can no one in that office give me a straight answer as to what happened or help me??? They just give you the run-around 24/7. ABSOLUTE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! DO NOT GO HERE!! This is why I switched OBGYNs. Dont waste your time there. Save yourself the unnecessary headache. Her office gets these type of reviews for a reason!!!

Office Manager, Cheryl? is unpleasant, disrespectful and very unprofessional ... she asked if my picture can be taken for their medical records when I said No, I was told we cant see you, you have to leave now even though they have all my personal information on file (my drivers license with my picture, my ss number , credit card information, etc).I also work in the medical field and I know how to respect my patients choices. Not coming back there and not recommending this place.

Wasted an hour and a half of my day. Finally got scheduled, never saw anyone. I sat waiting almost and hour and a half until I have to leave because I work. If you cant see people on time or within a reasonable time dont schedule appointmentsBeen calling for the last couple weeks to get an appointment for me and my daughter. They dont answer their phones or return calls apparently. Its very frustrating.

She is a very unprofessional Doctor. I spent a lot of money and when I had blood work done, I went in for my results and waited 3 hours and then she wouldnt even give me my results. And dropped me as a patient for saying I wasnt happy that I had to wait to see her for 3 hrs. I reported her to the medical board and basically they said she was wrong but they arent going to do anything about it. Dont waste your time and money. Dr. Wells is better.

Well, I would give negative stars if I could. I made an apt. due to a possible abnormal test result at my family doctor. (I was on hold for 45 minutes trying to make the 1st apt.) I ended up finding her old office address on google and therefore was late to the apt but they said they would see me anyway. I then waited for another 45 minutes in the reception area, finally was called back only to wait another 30 minutes in the room before anyone even spoke to me. The PA in the office was not able or willing to answer any of my questions clearly, I was actually googling what she was telling me trying to make heads or tails of it. I was getting very stressed about my diagnosis due to their reactions. Zero empathy, poor communication, terrible Customer Service. They said I could wait and speak to the doctor - so I waited and after waiting yet another hour to speak to her I was told she was to busy to come and speak to me!! They opened the door and walked away leaving me sitting there in absolute shock! I left crying my eyes out with no answers and far more upset about my diagnosis than before I arrived. I got home and called back to make another apt to actually speak to the doctor, which put me on hold for yet another 45 minutes. I went in for 2nd apt, and was told they were firing me as a patient because they could not meet my needs. I never did get my test results from them. I had to start over at another doctor. Horrible practice, the worst office I have ever been to. They should not be in business!!!

Dr.Monroe and the office girls are amazing. They called me to let me know the Dr. Was running behind, I’ve never had a Dr. Do that before! They also send a few reminders so you don’t miss the appointment.

My actual visit was ok, during my breast exam the PA mentioned something about ultra sounds due to a mass in my breast and never really followed through. I was also asked which lab I would like to get my test processed through (2 choices) and I chose the one I knew is in my network. I never received a follow up on my lab results, I never received an ultra sound referal. What I did recieve were excessive bills, my appointment was for preventative care which should have been 0 cost to me. The office of DR Monroe overhcarged my insurance, they did not go to the lab I requested and ended up getting charged since they went with a lab that is out of my network. I never received my test results. Months after the appointment I found out that they repscribed some medicine that I was not aware of and had no idea I needed to take it or the reason why it was prescribed. When I asked for my annual birth control prescription they prescribed only one month worth of birth control instead of 12 months. After all of that I received another 50$ bill from the doctor herself...to this day I do not know for what. I tried calling them to inquire about the bill but nobody would answer.

Wow!!! I was just looking around the internet for local info about hormone therapy and noticed the low reviews about this doctor and out of curiosity clicked to read them. This doctor (Dr. Monroe) seems horrible!! Next time any patients go to see her they should document everything this practice says and does, then file a complaint with the state medical board to have her medical license revoked, go to the local news channels, as well as sue the sh-t out of this horrible woman!

I went here for my annual Pap smear exam, something that is 100% covered by my insurance. Almost a year after the appointment, I received a bill from the laboratory for $740 because it was sent to a laboratory not covered by my insurance. I talked with my insurance provider and was told this should be covered by the doctor’s office as it was their mistake for sending it to that lab. After leaving a couple messages at Dr. Monroe’s Office, I finally received a call back and was told to fax them the laboratory bill. I faxed and emailed them the bill that same day. A month later, I received a statement from the laboratory again stating I still owe $740. I have been leaving the office voicemails all last month and have still not gotten a call back. I am very disappointed and frustrated at this point. This will now be the third time I will need to get an extension on the due date because Dr. Monroe’s offices do not answer or return my calls.

F*** this doctor. If I had the option to give her 0 stars thats what I would give her. I went in for a checkup last week & on that same day I was having severe stomach pains. My mom still made me go because we are leaving for Italy in 2 weeks and I needed a new prescription for my birth control. I have a cyst in my ovary, so my birth control is a medical necessity. Long story short, were at the office and I couldnt stop crying from my stomach pain. The Dr. Monroe tried to do a Pap smear on me but because I was crying & in pain she insisted on seeing me on another day when I was feeing better, but overall she was being insensitive to my pain..being bothered by it and just wanting me to leave her place. So, we booked an appointment for the next week. One week later, that being TODAY, I go & sign in, with my stomach feeing much better and all. I wait about 10 minutes & then one of the girls behind the desk asked me if I received a letter of discharge from the practice, and I said no. I was confused at first but then they told me to wait to get their general manager. She comes out and hands me a letter stating, You will be requiring further medical care which I cannot be providing to you, due to the fact that I and my staff were not able to meet your expectations. I then got furious and told them, Youre discharging me because I had a stomach ache? Because I was crying? Because I was in pain from my ovaries??What kind of doctor does that??? Its completely ridiculous & unprofessional. If someone else came in & had period pains & the doctor couldnt provide help to them because of their pain..shes just going to discharge them from service???!Ill tell you right now, when I had my stomach pain when I went in a week ago I was not rude or mean AT ALL. I told them repeatedly that I was sorry and that I couldnt help it. I have a history of ovary pain that makes my entire stomach hurt. It could have been that the cyst in my ovary had popped (which is normal on occasion for people with cyst in their ovaries).Its completed and utter BS!!! Please DO NOT go see this doctor. Even on previous times that I had seen her (which was only 3 other times) she was always insensitive, had an uncaring attitude, and rushed through things to the point where she physically hurt me during a pap smear and DID NOT CARE! My family & I only stayed with her because shes the only gynecologist in Vegas that takes our insurance.She and her staff are completely unprofessional and rude. They dont care about your satisfaction, they dont even care about you at all.My previous gynecologist in New York was so nice and so caring and even if we ever had an emergency he was always more than happy to help us, and insured us that he cared about our well being.Please, whatever you do, go see someone other than Maribel Monroe. Youll find a much better person to take care of you and your needs elsewhere.

At my last appt in Sept, I was seen and examined by a female student PA, not that I was given a choice... she just came in and proceeded with the exam. Never in my life have I had such a such a painful pap smear done. Apparently she wasnt trained properly. Next was my breast exam, and I did mention to her that I had an abnormal mammogram and was having one repeated. Again, this was THE WORST one ever! She had no idea how to properly exam a breast nor the lymph nodes under the arm.She left (thank goodness!), and Dr. Monroe came in shortly. She shook my hand, never addressed the problems I had indicated on the form that I was asked to complete, and she then escorted me to a seat up near the front desk. No hands on exam was done by the physician. Actually, I wasnt given a chance to voice my displeasure about what occurred because poof, she was gone like a magical fairy in the wind!I have made 2 calls to the office since then, first because I need a refill for a prescription for my hot flashes, which my pharmacy is also sending requests, and second to state that I was unhappy about being seen by the PA, etc. TWO TIMES...no return call!😞This is NOT the Dr. Monroe of old.

Made an appointment and waited over an hour to be taken back. After 30 minutes of waiting once I was put in a room, I let them know I had to leave. They continue to send emails to make an appointment, but no on ever answers the phone in the office. Ive left several messages, but none of my calls have been returned. Ive found a new doctor and have told everyone I know to avoid this office. They just dont care.

Dr Monroe helped me to overcome depression and anxiety due to Pandemic. She prescribed the vitaminas and controlled my hormonal unbalance.I recommend this doc

They didnt have my appointment on computer at all for a results apt. Also waiting on results they dont even have in. Ive been waiting an hour and going....Edited: finally saw the doctor after waiting 1.5 hours. Spent a handful of time with her, with her taking notes and reading up about me IN FRONT OF ME instead of before she came in. She does thorough testing but she has no idea what shes doing with it. Shes trying to make money off the natural medicinal market and really not caring for or helping her patients. Such a disappointment.

Monroe is great! Professional kind staff is also very polite…. My health just feel better since going to her.🌸

Dr Monroe is awesome. Unfortunately how appt an front office is ran is horrible. Issues with phones. Months to get an appt. Usually 2 hour wait on at your appt. Impossible so have to find another doctor.

I would never go back. Staff was disorganized and unprofessional. I waited over an hour to be brought back and was offered a coupon for skincare? The whole place looks like a plastic surgery office talking about anti-aging, youd never know it was an obgyn. I was told to call back after 3 days for my results (why wouldnt they call me??) and when I called they said it would be another 7-10 business days! All this for a yeast infection that I got from some antibiotics? I can get a test from the grocery store that can tell me this in 20 min.

A month ago I went here. I was a new patient going for my annual well women exam and to discuss potential hormone replacement. I did not meet with the doctor, but a PA. Blood was drawn and I went on my way. First, they sent it to an out of network lab, then to my horror the charge was over $5,000 for lab! My insurance company said they didnt even know what half of the tests that were done were for. Absolutely not acceptable!! On top of it, I was prescribed a $140 cream for an infection that could have been taken care of with $3 worth of oral antibiotics.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Monroe for 5 years. I’ve tried a lot of doctors through the years. She is the best I’ve never felt better.

Please do not go here. Scheduling an appointment was easy and amazingly they answered the phone. The wait at first wasnt long. But once I was back in the room I had to wait for almost an hour before the actual Dr came in.The real hassle and mess started when the bills came in. She ordered thousands of dollars in bloodwork, fortunately insurance covered most of it. But the infuriating part was that they billed my insurance in a way that charged me for multiple visits when I was only there once. My insurance covers one annual visit, so there were uncovered charges. This issue will shortly be submitted to the Las Vegas medical board for fraud.Then I got a bill from pathology. She took a pap smear and sent it off, even though I had one recently. She ordered again, thousands of dollars in STD testing... Ive only had one partner and was pretty sure on the no STDs part. Then they didnt submit the pathology through insurance. DR MONROES OFFICE NEVER ANSWERS THE PHONES SO YOU HAVE TO ACTUALLY STOP IN. This whole things has been nothing but a mess. DO NOT GO HERE!

So happy I was referred to Dr. Monroe. She seems to really listen. Happy with her care so far.
