My husband and I have been trying to conceive for over ten years and this year we were blessed with pregnancy due to the caring assistance from the professionals at Coastal Fertility Specialists. 💕 Both, the office at Lexington and Mount Pleasant, have been nothing short of amazing. They made our journey smooth, offering guidance every step of the way. Dr. Schnorr and his team are the best. We are so grateful to this clinic. Choose Coastal - you won’t regret it.

My husband and I went to coastal fertility not knowing exactly what to expect and also not knowing how much longer we would be trying for a baby! We had already done 4 cycles of letrozole when the kind team at coastal took time to hear my story, my concerns, and my desires. We are thrilled and blessed to be able to say that after one medicated cycle of IUI we got pregnant with our miracle! Every staff member we interacted with was an absolute gift from God. From the front desk receptionist to the doctors and the nurses taking my blood. Shout out to Mindy (virtual nurse) who answered every question I had and was such a source of encouragement. Our prayers were answered and I am so glad we took the step and went to Coastal Fertility!

My husband and I couldnt have been any more happy with our IVF experience thru Coastal. The nurses, the staff, and all the Drs we have seen thru this journey have exceeded our expectations. Our Dr was Dr. McLaughlin and she has been an angel sent for our little family. I couldnt imagine going thru any other clinic. 5/5 stars but Id give her a solid 10 out of 10!We went thru IVF and are currently 7 weeks and 5 days with our FIRST frozen embryo transfer, and have been released from Coastals care, we are going to miss them so much! No doubt, we will be back when its time to try for baby #2 ❤️

Coastal (Lexington) is the place that I went for a second opinion and I am happy that I did. I feel that Coastal really cares about me and wants me to have a child. I’ve had 2 IVF cycles with them and am planning a FET next. A lot of clinics try to protect their “success rates” and I can honestly say, I’ve never felt like that. I trust Coastal and my doctor (Dr. Riestenberg) plus the other providers. I’ve seen the other doctors for different reasons over my time with the clinic and they are very professional and kind as well. My doctor cares about what I want, and weighs that with her medical knowledge, to decide the best steps forward. Also, shout out to Heather C, who is the kindest soul and the best nurse case manager. She just gets it, and that means the most.

We had a great experience with Coastal Fertility. We initially went there as patients and felt very cared for and heard as we were beginning to look into options for fertility treatments. We ended up being travel patients as we went through an out of state clinic, but Coastal continued to handle all of our monitoring appointments, testing, and ultrasounds. The staff was familiar with this process and very responsive, which was huge for me. The ultrasound technician was kind and I always looked forward to seeing her at my monitoring appointments. After we got our positive pregnancy test, we had two ultrasounds in Charleston and we felt very cared for by the staff there. We now have our healthy baby and we are very thankful for the staff at Coastal for making this whole journey as pleasant as possible!

We go to the Lexington practice and our experience has been outstanding. Dr. Schnorr is an amazing and knowledgeable doctor and our nurse Heather is so responsive and helpful. Im the kind of person that asks 1,000 questions and many of those are repetitive and I never feel like Im bothering anyone with my concerns. My husband and I both feel they truly care about our success. Everyone at Lexington and Mt. Pleasant has been wonderful to work with (receptionists, blood drawers, everyone). I just finished my first retrieval and am excited about next steps.

Billing department is absolutely atrocious. The staff was really nice at my appointments and very organized which is awesome for a fertility specialist. However the billing department is incompetent and unresponsive. I was told to pay for my appointments in full at the time of service because my insurance would not cover it. Turns out my insurance did cover it with the exception of a very tiny copay. They refused to refund me because they said they had not officially received the money from my insurance even though they did see my insurance said they were paying it. They continued to try to make me pay in full at each appointment despite my insurance covering it. I have been trying to speak with their billing department for months and they keep ignoring me or telling me a manager will call me back which never happens. At this point I am owed over $400 and it doesn’t seem like I will ever get this money back. As nice and organized as this company was at appointments I’d stay away unless you want to throw your money away and never see it again.Follow up: I did finally hear back from them after threatening to file with the states attorney office and BBB and the lady I spoke with was very apologetic and nice about the situation and is taking care of it. However it shouldn’t take months of following up to finally get results. Also I should never have been paying out of pocket when it was covered by my insurance.

We are so thankful for everyone at Coastal Fertility Specialists! Each person there goes out of their way to make sure you are taken care of. Dr. Cook is a fantastic doctor. She not only is extremely knowledgeable but her bedside manner is top notch. Sara was our nurse coordinator and she always went above and beyond to answer any questions we had and was always so encouraging. Dawn was our financial counselor and she did a phenomenal job making sure everything was taken care of with our insurance and that there were no delays in the process. Every now and then we would go to the Lexington office for labs and ultrasounds. Each person there was so kind and encouraged us in the low times and rejoiced with us when everything was successful. We were truly blessed to have Coastal Fertility Specialists to walk with us on our journey to becoming parents. We can’t wait to meet our baby in October!

I had Dr. Cook for my testing today and she put my mind at ease. She took her time, explained everything, and I cannot say enough wonderful things. On such a sensitive journey, it is wonderful to have such great providers, Dr. Schnorr is wonderful as well! Great practice!

I was very hesitant about the overall process because its a sensitive issue and I wasnt sure of what to expect. I did my research and read tons of information, however, I still was not prepared. From the beginning until the end of my vist, every step was pleasant. The staff are warm and friendly, and made me feel comfortable through out the entire visit. The doctor was knowledgeable, and presented the information to my husband and myself in a positive manner. She provide, explanations and a plan to move forward. I highly recommend their services.

Always a pleasant experience with the doctors and the nursing staff at the Lexington location! Super supportive, knowledgeable, and always genuinely excited for you when you get positive news! Heather one of the nurses is truly the best! Couldn’t ask for a better group & highly recommend!

Dr. Slowey is amazing! He makes me feel comfortable and shoots it straight to me, which I really appreciate! He is so thorough and is so good at explaining everything. The staff is also extremely friendly and they make me feel right at home. This is very important to me, because I’m coming from 3 1/2 hours away.

I honestly can’t praise Coastal Fertility Lexington enough. My husband and I had the absolute best experience. They are such caring, sweet and incredible people. You’re not just a number or random person you’re someone they actually get to know. I can’t give any negative feedback for them at all. We’re so thankful for their help to get our sweet little one. They are always so responsive.

Doctor Cook and her wonderful team of nurses are amazing. They are kind, caring, and always available. Oct 2021 we went through IVF and received a devastating diagnosis that my eggs are not good. June/July 2022 we did a donor egg cycle and unfortunately the first time did not work. We hope to try again in December. The nurses, especially Sarah and Joanna, are amazing people and have been through this whole process with us. The staff at the Lexington Office are equally wonderful. If you are looking for a fertility team that will put you first, use Coastal Fertility.

Jamie, Dr. Slowey and the whole team here are absolutely amazing. I agree with others that they are straight forward and don’t sugar coat anything. With all the time, money and emotions that are involved with infertility..... why would you want this? I seriously could not be happier with my decision to come here. Absolutely worth the two hour drive each way.They make you feel so welcomed and as comfortable as possible.Jamie is my nurse and she is INCREDIBLE! She’s caring, prompt, positive and has this energy that radiates..... I am so grateful for her and everything she has done for us. She will always hold a special place in my heart.As another person said.... thank you all for what you do. I mean this from the bottom of my heart. The Lexington office has doctors, nurses and staff that are ONE OF A KIND. I would give 100 stars if I could.

The whole staff from reception to billing to nurses and docs- they’re absolutely AMAZING people who truly care for their patients as whole people not just physically. They’ve walked alongside us at our worst and absolute best moments, prayed with us when we asked-on top of providing the absolute BEST care during our high risk and complicated pregnancies. I cannot recommend another group more highly than Coastal Fertility!!!

I had a great experience with Coastal. At times I did feel like I was not necessarily being “heard” with concerns related to my specific course of treatment but when I relayed that to my nurse coordinator (Cherub), it was quickly remedied. Frankly, I was/am an annoying patient and had tons of questions and wanted everything explained to me, I am a high-anxiety patient and do not trust most doctors due to past experiences but as my treatment continued I started to relax more and I truly do trust the doctors and nurses at Coastal now. I got pregnant from my first, unmedicated (but monitored) round of IUI and I never felt pressured to seek higher level of care that I didn’t need. As an LGBTQ patient with no history of infertility, that was a big fear of mine because everyone has heard horror stories about fertility doctors pushing for IVF as a quicker, more convenient, and money producing treatment plan. That was never how I felt at Coastal, if anything Dr. Schnorr and Cherub reminded *me* that I had no signs of infertility and I needed to just trust the protocol they had planned for me. They were right.Lauren who did most of my ultrasounds and blood work was always so pleasant and one of my favorite people to interact with at the office, remembering specific details about my wife and I and taking her time performing her scan to ensure nothing was overlooked or missed.My only reasoning for giving a 4 out of 5 stars is because I was continuously disappointed with the billing department. The Lexington and Mt Pleasant office apparently do not have connected systems so each office cannot see what has been paid already at the other office. After my IUI procedure in Mt. Pleasant I was overcharged by hundreds of dollars and I’m honestly not even sure the woman who checked me out knew what she was doing as she couldn’t even tell me what the charges were for and did not give an itemized receipt after I asked. I had to email the insurance specialist at the Lexington office to get clarification on it. I was either being over charged or under charged (then, later being surprised with back dated charges) so the billing department is kind of a mess. Overall it all worked out but I did have to stay on top of my receipts, so if you’re someone who is paying out of pocket I would advise that you do the same.TL;DR= I highly recommend this office, they are patient and knowledgeable and their protocol worked for me. My only real complaint was the lackluster billing department but it got worked out in the end.

Everyone was so helpful and answered all of my questions. Dr. McLaughlin knew the answer to my questions before I even asked them. The nurse coordinator(I cant recall her name, she has twins) and the financial coordinator were awesome!

I would give more than 5 stars if possible. The ENTIRE STAFF is incredible. Especially Jamie, my nurse. She was kind, was very personal, explained every test, procedure, cost, etc along the way. She became a great friend. The front desk, billing and other nurses and doctors we encountered were great too. They remembered us by name, and would help us any way we could. Scheduling was easy, phone calls were answered, and voicemails/emails were returned promptly. I dont have anything bad to say about the Lexington office.My husband and I went to see Dr. Slowey. He was great. Very calm mannered, knowledgable and kind. He would give straight facts, and explain everything in detail, answer any and all questions and truly made us feel we were in good hands. (Now I have read previous reviews on him, dont pay attention to those... if there is something that a doctor feels is not going to get you results, or problems along the way, why would you want him to sugar coat the answer of dont do it, nor allow you another option to waste your time and money? Dr. Slowey is great, and I think those bad reviews on him were from butt-hurt people that were not ready for the truth. When it comes to trying to have a baby, you want answers, low as possible costs, and fast results. Thats what he will give you! Not back pats and assurance in other methods that have statistically not been very successful)

There will never be adequate words to describe how thankful we are for this team of nurses, doctors, and clinicians. The staff in the Lexington office are very knowledgeable, caring, ethical, and professional. After 11 years struggling to conceive, we were blessed with our son. Thank you Dr Schnorr and Coastal Fertility Specialists!

The staff is knowledgeable. There was great open communication between the Nurse, Doctor, and financial coordinating staff to make sure I understood everything related to my visit, expectations, and financial aspects related to my treatment.

We love CFS--and especially the Lexington office. They are absolutely outstanding. Our nurse is Heather, and Dr. Cook is our specialist. We do not have our child of promise yet, but look forward to that special day. The staff at CFS are professional, upfront, honest, kind, caring, genuine, and operate in a Spirit of Excellence. Highly recommend this practice if you desire to have a child.

My experience was awful. They claimed they couldnt even begin to help me until I lost 250+ lbs.They were very rude and callous. Without their assistance, I ended up pregnant less than a week later I got a positive test and now have a beautiful 3 month old.If youre a plus size mom, dont even think about going as they are NOT a plus friendly clinic.

Everyone at Coastal Fertility is incredible. They are the kindest and most compassionate people. They have helped to make a difficult situation so much easier by being encouraging and very helpful. I cant recommend them enough. I will miss them dearly when we graduate from them!

We were so incredibly impressed by this clinic! I was using them for the start of a surrogacy journey and they were nothing short of incredible! Timely, kind and always good for a laugh 💕 Thank you for being wonderful!

Dr.Slowey is very informative and explains everything that he is doing and the purpose of each test he does on you. The staff was very friendly & helpful. I didnt wait in the lobby very long maybe 6mins max. I would highly recommend this facility. They are very professional & informative about whatever your fertility/infertility situation may be.

I came to Coastal Fertility with endometriosis I have had for 19 years. I have been suffering with infertility for the last 4 years and have 2 children before. There is 10 years between my two because of infertility issues between them. At Coastal I was given great care. I had a cyst drained, polyps removed and I was thoroughly monitored. All my questions were answered quickly by my nurse Cherub Hutto. I had one egg retrieval and only 2 normal embryos. After we transferred one of our healthy embryos, I became pregnant and I am now going to my regular OBGYN. My experience at Coastal was great and I highly recommend this team for your needs!

Staff and first meeting went well. However my one star is due to a bill I keep receiving. I paid for my appointments in cash. Did not have my last test done . Yet they repeatedly keep billing me. Ive called billing and nothing has been done..as a matter of fact I have 300$ credit still not used and will not go back.

HSG was quick! Lasted seconds and not as bad as I thought it would be. It was uncomfortable and something I don’t want to have to do again but the environment was comfortable and the staff friendly. Dr Schnorr was friendly

I have had the best experience starting from Day 1 when I didnt know what my fate might be. Dr. Slowey is an amazing surgeon if you have to have surgery. I would recommend Coastal to anyone who might need their services as I think they will put you in the best situation to achieve your outcomes, if they can be achieved.

We had an amazing experience with them!! So thankful for Heather our nurse and Dr. Slowly!! They were very patient with us and all our questions and concerns. They were available when we needed them and helped bless us with our beautiful daughter!!!

My wife and I did not have a good experience with this facility. Just to mention a few instances, they gave me a prescription that was supposed to last for 3 months yet it was only a supply for one month, which we had to call them to correct. Then they charged us for two tests that we already told them in an email that we did not want to have. They also did a very poor job on following up with us on our care. They also told us that based on their test results we would only have a 2% chance of having a baby on our own and we would likely need to consider the IVF procedure, yet just earlier this year we became pregnant on our own which makes us seriously question their testing methods. Whenever we explained our issues with them, some of the staff often made excuses, sent rude replies to us, and would even go as far as making us feel that we were being irresponsible. We just never felt they cared about our needs, we did not feel welcome there, and we would not recommend anyone to be treated here.

They don’t return phone calls the same business day like it said on her message I called at 9:30am. And it’s been a week and no one has called me back I feel since I am older women they could care less. They immediately made me feel like having my own child is pointless. Very Apathetic of what I am going through.

Seeing Heather and Jamie every third day made a very dark time in my like much more bearable. The entire staff treated us wonderfully, and I found the physicians extremely knowledgeable and professional. If it weren’t for CFS, I wouldnt have my son. I can’t thank the staff enough for choosing to do this with their lives.

The staff is nice and I don’t feel like any test I had done went badly, but don’t go to this place if you’re going to the Lexington “satelite” branch of this office. Because your dr will NEVER be available for you. Because the dr’s are only ever there every 3-4 weeks because they are mostly in the Charleston location. So the dr’s appointments are filled super quick. We had our initial consultation and then had to wait a month to do our blood testing. Then to just go over the test results with our doctor we are unable to do till May (it’s march right now) because that’s when his next appointment is. It’s RIDICULOUS. Seriously, save yourself a lot of frustration and time and go somewhere else in the columbia area if this is where you live.

I love this facility, while I have not been lucky enough to get pregnant yet, the ladies are always the nicest. I drive two hours to the facility and they never make me regret my time. I truly feel like they care about their patients.

Coastal fertility is a great place with great people. Very professional and personable. I was comfortable through the whole process. I cant put into words how thankful I am. I appreciate you all. ☺️

These people are phenomenal!! Not only did they make our dreams come true they truly made me feel like family in the process!! From the doctors to the nurses this place deserves way more than five stars!!

To be honest, I can not bash this practice for I have never been. Today I called the Myrtle Beach location on a business matter, and when I asked a question that was concerning our place of business Debra Moynihan WHNP-BC became very unprofessional. She was yelling in the phone like a 5yr old and when I asked if I could speak to someone else regarding this matter she yelled again stating I AM THE ONLY ONE HERE!!! It truly made me question the practice as a whole. Simple question HER MISTAKE so I guess she didnt want to own up to it so she threw a tantrum. Very unprofessional!!!!

I could not put into words how amazing the staff here truly are. They make such a hard situation absolutely amazing. I love them & so highly recommend them!!

Oh how I wish there was zero star option... They are the most unprofessional people that I’ve ever spoken with over the phone, point blank! I work in a line of business where clients are our main priority and I can grantee you if I spoke to any of my clients the way myself and my husband were here spoken to by this office, I would be out of a job!I’m appalled that they are even in business.

Their treatments are 100% ineffective, they do not give me a concrete explanation of why my supposed infertility, and according to all our tests everything is perfect but I have already done two IUIs without positive results
