Assurance Health Clinic - STI Testing

I only went there 1 time and that’s enough. The reason I’m giving it only 3 stars is bc I did my first round of tests here and people were nice and helpful. However bc I have some type of insurance (even if it’s not good insurance and I have to pay a lot for everything), I was told on the phone at a later date to not come back there for any of the later three month testing. That I wasn’t welcome. Whatever there are better places in Lexington to go that don’t made me feel like a bad person who is out to cheat the system. The truth is all lab testing is very expensive so I was trying not to have to make an appt with my dr. The deductible isn’t the issue, it’s when a large lab bill is my responsibility separately later. My advice if this clinic wants to only see and help those with NO zero insurance whatsoever that’s fine. I just wish I’d been told that upfront on the phone at the very beginning before I came in the first time and not told later in a way that made me feel bad. What was said came across as hurtful and insensitive. I know rationally that wasn’t their intention but I don’t have much money, so I thought my yearly lower income would make me still eligible to get assistance my bad. I don’t recommend it for someone in my situation. They could have handled things a lot better with me. An apology would have been appreciated.

I would absolutely recommend to anyone. This is the best place Ive been to in a really long time. The Drs and nurses and are so nice and never try to make you feel poor or at all disrespected. It was a great experience from being to end.

I came here for the first time and I was treated very well.I love the services they offer and how respectful they are.I would recommend this clinic for anyone looking for free test clinic.

I had a great experience with my visit. All the nurses were great , very professional, and sweet! Clean place with a good environment and wonderful people !
