If youre looking for quality information regarding the financial aspect of IVF.....GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.I followed my IVF doctor, Dr. Phy, to this clinic specifically so I could work with her.During my team dealing with FST, I was not only less than impressed and constantly discouraged, but it actually resulted in us ceasing our endeavors into IVF. While I was supposed to have started my round of IVF on April 1st, it was lack of communication, dropped responsibilities on FSTs part and flat out rudeness that ended up with us not being able to start our round on April 1st as planned.We knew we had an April 1st estimated start date so I started reaching out to them in November 2023 to ensure we had everything we needed in place. My husbands company was providing us with $20,000 of IVF coverage, which we knew was a blessing. I worked to get all of my medical records over to FST in late November and kept asking what the next steps were. They either flat out didnt respond or kept telling me well, thats in April, well worry about it then.In late January 2024, an authorization form was to be filed with the insurance company to get our out of pocket amount. I heard NOTHING from January until March when I notified them of my period start date. They gave me an IVF round schedule and then I got a frantic call from their finance team. The authorization was NEVER filed and it takes 15 to 20 business days to get an authorization to go through. BONUS: I wouldnt have my out of pocket amount until the authorization was final. That wouldve left us with only a couple of days to come up with anywhere from $2,000 to $4,000 due by April 1st or we wouldnt be able to start. I dont know about most of you, but pulling $4,000 out of thin air in a matter of days isnt possible for us.I immediately asked for a payment plan....they dont do those. I called and got plenty of what we needed approved via Care Credit.....they dont take that. I did everything I could to make it happen and there was no flexibility even though they dropped the ball in multiple areas. The finance manager that I had spoken with in January wrote an email to me placing blame on me for not being financially prepared when she gave me an approximate amount that we would owe and then told me that I knew from the beginning they werent going to file the authorization form.In mid-March, I did get a phone call from their office saying we couldnt go any further because they didnt have my medical records. After actually looking at my file, they were then able to see my 300 pages of medical records that were sent to them on November 29th.I repeatedly asked to speak to a director. I still havent heard from one. I did hear from one of their staff members who said shed immediately look into it and get back to me....that was 3 weeks ago and Ive heard absolutely nothing.From day one, it has been an absolute nightmare. The ONLY two people that have shown any compassion are Nikki and one other individual. Otherwise, Ive called countless times and sat on hold for 20 or 30 minutes only to be pushed to a voicemail. Sometimes I wouldnt even be able to leave a message.I wish I could tell more people to stay far, far away from FST. It was one of the worst experiences I couldve ever had with a doctors office/clinic that is supposed to be about caring, nurturing and tending to their patients as they go through an already difficult path (that of infertility).I did not want to go to the length of posting a review, but I was left no choice when their clinic showed such a severe lack of care and attention to me as a patient.

We didnt have the best experience with Dr. Dorsett. We never got anywhere. I always left her office crying because I was so disappointed. I switched over to Dr jennifer phy and Ive never had a bad experience with her. My very first appointment I left and felt happy and hopeful. We came up with a game plan right away.

Have been to this location a couple time while in the area. This location is the most unorganized, hateful and slowest clinic I have ever been to. Appointment was at 9 showed up at 8:50 and as I write this while still waiting in the waiting room at 10:00 as other people who have came in after me as gone in before me. Maybe because Dr. Dorsett isn’t my doctor she wants to see her patients first?? I am at wits in with FST period. Frisco and Dallas locations are much more friendlier much faster most of the time. Dr Skora and the financial manager Deborah is why I have stuck around….

We found Dr. Dorsett after not being satisfied with a previous local fertility doctor. After a rocky start with her office staff, we were finally able to get the funds we needed to proceed with the fertility treatments. Dr. Dorsett is very knowledgeable about fertility and the different procedures available to women. This wasnt the path we wanted, but we were ready to expand our family and have a baby and she made it possible for us to do so. Even during the season of Covid, Dr. Dorsett made it possible for us to become pregnant and deliver our beautiful baby boy. We are beyond excited with our new baby and are thankful to Dr. Dorsett and her staff for all they do to make this possible for women.

Dr. Dorsett was so kind and helpful. She answered all my questions and gave us hope. We are welcoming our baby June 2023. So grateful for her and her staff.

Got to see Dr Dorsett within 2 weeks of calling, she took the time to sit down with us and answer all our questions, and she got us a healthy pregnancy! We had 3 miscarriages before seeing her, but after 2 rounds of IUI with her, we are now entering our 2nd trimester with a healthy baby boy! Couldn’t be happier!

When finding out we had to go through an infertility doctor we had no idea where to start. I called Dr. Dorsetts office and they immediately had me set up a phone call meeting and right after that I had an appointment. Had I waited for the other option I wouldn’t have been seen till October of 2021. Dr. Dorsett was amazing. She was upfront about costs. And her plan to help us with what we needed. She is extremely knowledgeable in this field and I would highly recommend going to her. We were fortunately one of the lucky ones and it only took one time for iui and we are now expecting twins in October 2021. I don’t think we could’ve done it without her and her AMAZING staff. And when I say I amazing I mean amazing. They were always so welcoming and helpful. They would joke with you when appropriate and you really just felt like you were in a safe family place. If we have to try this again I wouldn’t go anywhere else! Thank you so much for everything y’all did for us!!

Update: My twins are 4 years old now, and Im currently pregnant with our last embryo! Dr. Dorsett is a caring doctor who was upfront and honest through the whole process. I know that we are extremely lucky that IVF worked TWICE, but also Dr. Dorsett knows what shes doing. I trust her skills, and highly recommend her!My experience with Dr. Dorsett was amazing. Ill recommend her to everyone requiring fertility assistance. She was calm and comforting, and I owe my pregnancy to her and her qualified team. My husband and I chose IVF. The Centre for Reproductive Medicine was very helpful as far as laying out the cost of the procedure up front. We were able to take a year and save for it. A well made decision! I am now pregnant with 2 twin girls and could not be happier. We will visit Dr. Dorsett again in a couple years to add to our family. I honestly cant wait. Thank you, Janelle. Well see you soon.

We appreciate Dr. Dorsett and all of her office team for everything they did for us to give us our blessings. Dr. Dorsett is very knowledgable and its clear that she truly loves the work that she does. She is straightforward with you and tells you exactly what her thoughts are which was comforting for us since this was such a new experience for us. Her office team all made us feel like family and made the struggle with infertility so much easier to go through. We cannot say enough good things about this office and highly reccomend Dr. Dorsett to anyone else who is struggling to conceive.

Dr. Dorsett was AMAZING, she got me farther along in a pregnancy than I’d ever been. I started seeing her in March 2021 and got pregnant with her regiment in July 2021. She ran tons of tests and figured out why I had miscarried with my first two pregnancies. Her staff on the other is terrible. The nurses don’t call you back with your blood results, you have to call them. I emailed one NP about fixing to run out of blood pressure pills and she never got back with me that was back in August. Thank God for my family doctor. They assume everyone lives in Lubbock. I wanted to do the Genetics/Gender on my baby. The clerk handed me a folder and said to call if your interested. She didn’t bother to say since your not from Lubbock you have to blood work here in Lubbock and we have to fill out paperwork. I had to turn around and do the two and half hour drive (one way) back to Lubbock when it could’ve been that day. At my last appointment I filled out the paperwork for my file to be sent to my local doctor and said it would be done within the week. I waited the following week to make my next appointment with my doctor like I was told to do. My information was never sent, so I call Dorsett’s office and told it would be done that day. I can’t make an appointment until this is done because they are picking where Dorsett left off. Make sure you call to see that Dorsett’s staff does their job.

I have never in my life written a review for a business, but deeply felt that I needed to after my recent experience with my IUD insertion. Upon my arrival, I was very nervous to receive my IUD and expressed this to the technician who checked me in. I asked if she had ever had one herself, and she said that she had not because she was too scared of everything bad that could happen... Then, when she took me to the back, she proceeded to tell me some of the bad things that could happen, such as reoccurring UTIs and yeast infections. When it came time to the procedure, Dr. Dorsett and who Im assuming is her nurse came in and prepped me. Dr. Dorsett had the nurse start performing the procedure while she observed, and 5 minutes in, Dr. Dorsett had to leave and retrieve something the nurse had forgotten, leaving me stuck on the bed in the stirrups opened up waiting for several minutes. When it came time to measure my cervix and I began to feel pain, I started crying and panicking. They paid no attention to me and couldnt seem to care less. Then during the insertion of the IUD, I experienced probably the most intense pain in my entire life that sent me into a panic attack, shivering, crying, and drenched in sweat. I heard Dr. Dorsett laugh about something multiple times while I was crying out for help and hyperventilating. I seriously was ignored during one of the most painful and stressful moments of my life. Then, when it came time to cut the strings at the end of the procedure, they FORGOT THE SCISSORS TO CUT THE STRINGS!!! Dr. Dorsett had to leave the room once again, and this time left the door open!!!!! They finished the procedure and left me on the bed in the dark shivering and sobbing and couldnt care less! The nurse came in 15 minutes later and finally asked if I was okay, and I said that I was not and confronted her about everything that had happened and how unprepared they were. She tried to play it off and deny that it was wrong, but eventually admitted that it wasnt and ultimately it could be her fault. I got my things and told her that I would NEVER be coming back to see them and I want all women to be aware how bad they suck!! Absolutely ridiculous and the most trash bedside manner of any doctor Ive ever encountered.

I had a great experience. Dr. Dorsett and her staff are very knowledgeable in what they are doing. I have two health 10 week old twin girls and I feel so blessed to have had the opportunity to carry and birth my girls. What a blessing!

Very inconsiderate staff. We faxed in all paperwork (well over 10 pages) needed prior to our appointment. However, the incompetent office staff seemed to have NOT received our information so dropped our appointment without notifying us. We had already asked off from our jobs since we live over 70 miles from the office. Thankfully, my wife called the day before to confirm our appointments (again, we had not heard from the office) and found out THEY HAD DROPPED OUR appointment that had been made over a MONTH in advance. Again, they DROPPED OUR APPOINTMENT without any contact being made with me or with my wife. Our jobs are very time consuming and to get off for the afternoon required my wife rescheduling her whole work/meetings and was a huge ordeal that affected entire other groups of people besides us. The staff had already filled the appointment that we had standing for a month, and could not offer us any help. When you are going through infertility testing/treatments, you know how heart breaking it is to even have to seek further assistance. So, to have been treated with complete disrespect and inconsideration proved that Janelle Dorsetts office staff made this journey that much more stressful and heart breaking for us. If you enjoy stress, and heartbreak, you should seek treatment at her office. If you like rearranging your life and then having them cancel your appointment (even though i have the fax confirmation page saying my fax of the paperwork went through) then, definitely go to this office. If you, like us, think that infertility treatment is sensitive and time consuming without adding any stress to it, then I highly suggest you seek treatment through another clinic. Again, this is not a poor review on Dr. Dorsett herself; as we will NOT be rescheduling our visit, we will never know how her treatments go. This is however a very negative and personal experience with her office staff. We complied with the paperwork, they just lost it, or didnt care to check into it. We were given the option to reschedule but we didnt because if they treat our paperwork this carelessly, what ELSE would they treat so carelessly? IF treatment is too expensive to waste in the wrong place.

I did not receive competent care at this clinic. Nonchalant attitude from doctor (Dorsett) and one too many errors made all at my expense by both nurses and doctor. The doctor looked at me and assumed why I was in her office. She was totally wrong and I found her assumption offensive, judgmental, and biased. In addition, the equipment and decor in this office is from decades ago. It’s not what you want to see when seeking cutting edge reproductive care, which is not what they have here. If you can do it, really consider seeking other options for treatment.

Loved the staff, Dr. Dorsett is the greatest, I was trying to have a baby for over a year and after seeing her I am now 4wks pregnant. I love that you see her more than you do the nurses like in other offices. :)

I love doctor Dorcett and her staff. Her NP Bridget I’d FREAKING AMAZING. She’s willing to try new things and is open minded. It’s nice to go to a clinic that Actually listens to the patients concerns. I love the fact that this clinic gives you daily calls on your embryos, (a lot of clinics only call on day 3 and 5) if you’re doing a IVF cycle. Also, I love the fact that they are willing to do double IUI’s which have shown to be more successful. The only “con” is they do not offer ERA or assisted hatching. I do know that doctor Dorcett is currently going to Dallas for training and to learn the newest things available in the IVF world so I imagine she will offer this soon. Definitely would make an appointment here. Professional relaxed clinic.

They have an amazing staff and Dr. Dorsett was a our last hope. She was straight shooter and told us right a way what needed to be done. I proud to say we are parents to amazing 3 year old now.

Without Dorsett and her team, we would not have our beautiful miracle baby!!

Dr. Dorsett and her staff are very personable and knowledgeable. It took us a long time to conceive, even with fertility treatments, but Im glad we stuck it out!

I had a tubal reversal in December I am now pregnant 7 months later. Her staff was always nice and knowledgeable. Dr Dorset is amazing.

My wife and I used dr dorsett in April of 16 for a tubal reversal. We were pregnant 5 months later in September. We my first biological baby was born in June of 17. I now have a beautiful daughter thanks to dr dorsett. She was very informative with me also. Big time thanks to her

Dnt trust her! Go somewhere else! The dr that’s trying to help me now, said Dorsett is jus a business woman who wants her money..she was no help, and very judgmental on why I wanted a baby as a single mother…

Not organized at all, had a zoom meeting to go over lab work and she did not have our files with her for our meeting, never called back with results I had to call them for it. They gave us no plan. Dr Dorssett and NP took off for a week at the same time making it difficult to get any questions answered!

Hello I know this is for only reviews but I had a question has anyone on here had their tubes cut not tied and has tried the vitro? Because I have my tubes cut and I want another baby I just dont know what to do!! Any advice?

I am very grateful to Dr. Dorsett, more than a year ago she gave us hope of being parents, she saved me and our baby after a big problem I had and thanks to her my pregnancy was the best, after 7 years trying to be We parents achieved it thanks to the doctor, each ultrasound was a world and we saw how our baby grew, she always explained everything to us, today we have our little girl who is almost 9 months old and we are looking for another baby and without a doubt we will return to the doctor, the I highly recommend him, he is a person with a huge heart, very human, and very tactful when speaking, all his staff were very friendly and they took great care of me, thank you 🤩
