Dr. Victor Benezra, MD

Dr. Benezra is absolutely kind and competent. I would recommend and I would go back to see him, but I wont. The rest of the staff, especially some ladies I came in contact with are very rude, lack tact, and act as if they are doing you a favor. I got that treatment both in person and over the phone so I dont think a Im having a bad day kind-of-thing. Such a pity!

I went to see Dr. Benezra a few months ago. I have problems with fibroids, and at first I was so shocked by the information that I would need to have my uterus removed that I didnt even realize how cruel he was with me in his words. I believe he forgot that on the other side there was a human being, with the dream of having a child one day. But thank God I didnt accept the only option he gave me. I will definitely never go back to him again.

Dr.Benezra is literally a walking Angel. He did my myomectomy On 02/19. He was so informative , kind and really put my mind at ease before surgery. I was able to get in quick for my IUD removal and that’s when the fibroid was picked up . And not long after I was scheduled for surgery . Wonderful office, great staff . I highly recommend this office

This office was referred to me by a friend, and I couldn’t be happier. Staff is always pleasant, timely appointments, and very thorough with care. The providers are very attentive and take their time talking to you and answering any questions you might have. Fantastic Gyn Practice. The entire staff cares about their patients. Each appointment I leave feeling like I have finally found the right fit for me. Dr. Benezra has been my doctor for over 17 years now and I only trust him when it comes to my woman business. I was experiencing Fibroids pains and hate taking medications, so when he told me about Acessa, a laparoscopic ablation procedure, I felt safe and secure knowing that he will perform the surgery and the only reason why I decided to. It’s been 6 months now and OMG I can’t express enough on how amazing I feel. Dr. Benezra really cares about his patients. He takes the time with you, always supportive and provides the best options for you. I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Benezra and his staff. The staff is always extremely pleasant, professional and very quick to address whatever needs I have. As far as Dr. Benezra, he definitely lives up to his outstanding reputation. He performed surgery on me just 3 days ago and it could not have gone better. He makes you feel completely comfortable throughout the whole process (his bedside manner is always great no matter what you are there for). I assumed I would be in a lot of pain after the surgery but I’m happy to say that hasn’t been the case at all. Dr. Benezra and his staff are truly the benchmark for their profession.

Ive been a patient of Dr. Benezras for 10+ years. The wait in the waiting room and the examination room, while waiting for the doctor to come in, is about 5 minutes in each room. The staff is amazing, they are all incredibly sweet & compassionate, you will NEVER hear office talk / patient bashing in this office. Dr. Benezra is equally compassionate & very personable, he is a doctor that cares about his patients and it shows. He takes the time in each appointment to talk to his patients and answer any questions they have, you will never feel rushed in his office.

I have never had a more pleasant experience with a doctors office. All of the girls in the office have been unbelievably nice and helpful. Dr. Benezra has a comforting manner and I never feel rushed. He performed a more complicated hysterectomy on me two weeks ago and Ive felt surprisingly amazing since the day. I would never go anywhere else and I highly recommend him.

Dr. Benezra is great. He is highly empathetic and an active listener. I never had a doctor who took my concerns and medical issues seriously without dismissing me. He provided the medical care and attention that I needed, which has greatly improved my quality of life. His staff is also very polite and courteous. I never experience a long wait.

I want to say that I respect Dr Benezra to the fullest. I have been a registered nurse in this area for over 15 years and I’ve worked with his patience I’ve seen him with his patient and now I have chosen to be as patient the two visits we have had were amazing he was attentive he took his time to explain He even drew a diagram to simplify what is going on. I’m very sad today because I am losing a very good doctor. My issue arose because of a $50 charge on my account stating I missed an appointment when in fact I called the office to explain I was going to be late the office manager did not bother to pick up the phone but Instead told her front desk staff the charges will remain on the account because I cost them an ultrasound visit. I am aware of the cancellation policy that they have but this is totally different. I showed up to the office, I asked to see the Dr I was denied, I asked for my Annual to be done I was denied. The front desk clerk said “I can reschedule your US apt “which I allowed. I am truly sorry that this has happened, I will now have to search for a Doctor Who is able to manage my care as effectively as I know Dr Benezra could.

I cannot say enough great things about Dr. Benezra and Cori Kellner. Cori is absolutely the most patient, understanding and compassionate provider I have ever had. She makes being her patient such a joy and makes you feel like you are talking to a friend.

I’ve been a patient under Dr. Benezra’s care for eleven years now. I moved with him and Cori Kellner from Health First to his private practice. He is kind, compassionate, thorough, extremely knowledgeable, and his bedside manner is excellent. Additionally, he surrounds himself with a fantastic staff.

I want to start off by saying that this review is based off the communication Ive had with the office staff, I made an appointment in March to see Dr. Benezra for an annual and a couple concerns post hysterectomy. When I made the appointment I clearly stated I needed help with both of these and the lady on the phone assured me I could be taken care of. Well fast forward to today, the day of my appointment I received a call from the office saying, please call us back we have information based on your deductible for today. So I called and the lady I spoke with said hey your deductible is $250 for todays visit, me kind of shocked I was like can you explain to my while an annual costs money? She said they didnt have my down for an annual and that they had me down just post hysterectomy questions and concerns. I literally wanted to ask Dr. B some questions etc, the post hysterectomy isnt my total concern. Just doing my annual was. Well the lady said let me speak with my office manager maybe we can get you in as an annual visit. Well she said no. Advised that I go see the doctor that did my hysterectomy instead and than she proceeded to ask if Id like to reschedule. Im sorry didnt you just say U should see the doctor that did my hysterectomy? The lack of communication really ruined it for me, my schedule for work comes out a month in advance and I have patiently waited for this appointment just for all of this to happen.

Dr. Benezra is amazing! He delivered my daughter and I could not have asked for a better experience. I have continued to see him since and he is professional, caring and personable. He takes time with each patient and is not in and out in a hurry. His office staff is just as wonderful. highly recommend.

A year ago my daughter became very sick. After many tests, a friend recommended Dr. Benezra in his new women’s care center on Hibiscus. His friendly manner and staff ushered us into a whole new level of care as he navigated us into diagnosis and treatment. It was refreshing to find a doctor who actually listened and acted upon her health concerns. In December, I began having some health issues so I scheduled an appointment with him and Cori Kellner. My treatment consisted of a hysterectomy. I am three weeks into recovery and I am very pleased with the level of care I am receiving. My phone calls are answered quickly and the staff is always friendly. Thank you Dr. Benezra, Cori and staff for your kindness, patience and care.

Dr. Benezra delivered my first baby 11 years ago and we loved him. Today in saw cori for the first time and Im SO happy I did. She was comforting through a really difficult time for me, she understood exactly what I needed and wanted out of my birth control and she listened to what I wanted. I left a doctors appt. Happy and Im actually excited about my follow up. A good obgyn is so important and if you decide to choose this practice youve hit the obgyn lottery. Their office staff was also incredible and welcoming and the whole experience made me happy to take care of what is often not a pleasant experience. Hands down the best gynecologist. I’ve had a number of dr in the past and Dr Benezra has been the best by far! I am a newer patient and he has helped with a problem I had been having for a while. He didn’t brush me off and I just had my procedure done. His staff is friendly and efficient. Everyone at the practice made me feel comfortable and confident during my procedure in the office.I would recommend Dr Benezra and his entire practice for anyone looking for a great, confident and professional gynecologist.

I love Cori Kellner, I used her when she was with health first and I followed her to Benezra. By far the best gyno I’ve ever had. She’s really nice and basically makes you feel like you’ve been friends forever when you talk to her which makes the whole appointment really comfortable. And she’s really good at what she does. The ladies in the office are also really nice they helped me with insurance problems I was having and I didn’t even ask them to saving me a lot of hassle. It was extremely nice of them to go out of their way to do that for me. Really nice and clean office and exam rooms. I recommend this place for everyone that asks.

I had a laparoscopic full hysterectomy with Dr. Benezra and I was pretty amazed at how great I felt. Didn’t need pain meds once I left hospital. You cant even tell I had surgery. No scares on my stomach. He is an amazing doctor from beginning to end. His staff were are kind and helpful as well. I would highly recommend Dr. Benezra.

Dr. Benezra and his NP are hands down, the best in their specialty. Their office is beautiful, the staff is always courteous and welcoming. Dr. Benezra has great bedside manner, and did a fantastic job with my endometriosis surgery as well as managing my endometriosis after. 10/10. Wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Dr Benezra was once my mother Doctor and shes now 86 years old, so its been a while, I asked her about a good Gynecologist Doctor, and hes been my Gynecologist ever since! Dr. Benezra is different from a lot of Doctors in the same field, man and women, for a man he senses things, hes confident in his self, and I trust him, I have had a lot of problems and it wasnt a long drawn out wait to find out my problems, I not to long had total hysterectomy done, as one of Jehovahs witnesses, we dont use blood and he respected my beliefs and you know he told me I didnt have blood loss, I am happy to have him for my Gynecologist, his staff are wonderful!

I was visiting this doctor for few months back in 2016 and he seems like a great guy however the staff and the receptionists are barely average in their day to day work. I spend more time waiting in the waiting room or inside the visitation room vs. my actual interactions with the doctor. This was poor customer service and not a pleasant experience. Of course I paid my full share of the bills- spending my time waiting in the rooms.Ive gone to doctors before and I didnt see that type of treatment and I get much better customer service.Unfortunately visiting the doctor is not just seeing him but dealing with the whole practice. Hope his new practice is a better place for new moms and women.

DR. Benezra delivered my daughter back in 2014. After having a horrible experience with my previous dr and birth. I was very anxious and nervous going into my 2nd birth. He always took the time to listen to me and make sure that I was very clam and comfortable. He explained things to me and always made sure I was ok as well as my growing baby. My delivery could have been very nerve racking had it not been for Dr. Benezra. Not only did everything go perfect but it felt like he was family in the room with us. He coached me through it and made me feel like I could do it and he was proud of me. He hugged my whole family congratulating us and even held our newest baby girl asking for a picture with her as if he was so excited to see her. He is HANDS DOWN in my opinion the best OBGYN in Brevard. I was the lucky one to have had him in that delivery room :) Would give 10 stars if I could.

Dr. Benezra is amazing! I’ve been seeing him for about 10 yrs - before he started his own practice. He goes above and beyond to help his patients. He is patient, listens, and generally cares about my wellbeing. He also knows his stuff. He’s probably the best OBGYN in Brevard County.

I’ve never been treated so well from not only a doctor, but the front desk, as well.I am someone young (27) that has been dealing with chronic health problems for over a decade. I’ve asked over and over at my previous GYN to look into the issue. I was only ever given, at most, random ultrasounds here and there. I was never told anything unusual and was refused a laparoscopy because, according to her, “I don’t think you have endometriosis.”Guess what? I sure do!I’ve suffered needlessly for years until one day I made a phone call to Benezra’s office, desperate for answers and solutions. They immediately booked me an ultrasound, but it was done IN OFFICE! The technician that did my internal ultrasound was attentive to my comfort and needs, extremely sympathetic when I described my symptoms, and just about killed me with kindness.Within 45 minutes on my first visit and imaging, I had a real diagnosis. He immediately saw why I was having so many of my issues! I showed him a written list of my symptoms and Dr Benezra was sympathetic towards my daily suffering. Instead of dismissing me, as I was bracing myself for, he validated me and offered me solutions, including a hysterectomy if I desired it - something that many women struggle to get from drs at my age. He diagnosed what my previous doctor never saw just from ultrasounds - a retroverted uterus was one thing. How my previous dr ignored all of my obvious signs and told me my daily symptoms weren’t worth looking into, is astounding. We women deserve educated drs like Benezra. He is also a surgeon and did a hysterectomy and endometriosis excision for me over two weeks ago. I was off my pain killers by day three and I’ve had no complications so far. The office is very easy to get in touch with if I DO have issues, they always seem to call back by the end of the day if you leave a message early enough.Please, if you’re having issues, call this office. You deserve answers and solutions. I only wish that he could also be my primary care, as well! My life and health are on the mend because I finally found a dr that cares for his patients “like his own daughters,” as he said.

I love health first and the doctors. Ive been to a few different practices first choice etc and they have been terrible, the staff are not so nice and the doctors seem to push you from one doctor to another without knowing whats wrong with you. I transfered From a private doctor who deals with gynecology because she was rude and did a procedure without numbing the area and caused pain and bleeding, so I asked personally for. Dr at health first as my others were really good. My first doctor was Stacy sensor she was really nice and she did a procedure and went fantastic but she left to go to Orlando. So by a miracle I found Dr Benezra! No one likes to go to doctors especially gynecologist whos male right? Well me and my husband had a appointment and hes really nice my husband said hes a great doctor and didnt want to do a procedure if it wasnt needed now my husband dislikes doctors but really liked him. Anyway went in had a procedure done and what can I say?. You cant get a better one, hes 100% and in future if I have to go back then its him and only him I will see. Now if he goes to Orlando then looks like I will be traveling.

Doctor Benezra has been my doctor for the past 15+ years and he is like family. He’s caring, takes the time to listen, and is on top of the latest medical processes. He and his staff are amazing!

I am new to Melbourne from Colorado, so I thought this was going to be difficult for me to find a good OBGYN and I was already pasted my annual. I got a recommendation to them and Im glad I went. Super fast calling me up even though I was early and just overall comfortable setting with the ladies. Thats my spot these days and dont plan to change. Glad I got referred to a great place.

The personality and humor of Dr Victor Benezra is a valuable part of his brand new offices. His lobby and office areas are up to date and clinical rooms are state of the art and immaculate. He can take a biopsy in his facility on Hickory in a couple of hours in his offices rather than a day for outpatient surgery.After two years ongoing to GP, Urolugy, Gastro, GP AGAIN! Dr Garcia referred me to Dr Benezra a I am so happy I got him to take care of the situation! I am now pain free after my hysterectomy. Superb job! Thank you Dr Benezra! My case probably was a little harder to deal with.But he did what he could and it was the right thing.

Have been seeing Dr. Benezra since 2006. My OB-GYN in Miami was the one who recommended him and I am forever grateful. One less doctor I had to look for when we moved. Wonderful person.

He delivered my daughter in 2006 broke her arm. It was my first child as well very traumatic experience! The other doctor in the practice told me I should of had a cesarean my baby was to large to have vaginally. I never had an ultrasound when I arrive at the hospital either to see if she was in position. I never liked his manner when I did see him in the practice. Now my daughter has nerve damage in her fingers. I should of sued him when I did I deeply regret it!

Dr. Benezra took the time to listen to my concerns to where other doctors did not. If it wasnt for Dr. Benezra I would have never known that I had stage 1 endometrial cancer. 2 weeks prior to my visit wth Dr. Benezra I had a Pap Smear with a different doctor which came back normal. As I said Benezra listen and now cancer free.

After leaving a message to schedule with the ARNP several days elapsed with no response. I prefer an office that has a system designed to allow you to speak to a human being and certainly that returns calls. I went ahead and scheduled with a different provider.....I wanted to amend this review. Megan, the office manager read my review and reached out to me. She absolutely apologized and was simply amazing! Any manager who goes to these lengths to assure superior customer service deserves accolades! 5 VERY deserving stars!!

Dr Benezra is caring, kind and understanding. I was referred to his practice by my urologist. I was interested in hormone therapy to increase libido. Dr Benezra explained how the therapy could help. The treatment he recommended solved my issues, I feel 10 years younger! Thank-you Dr Benezra!

I receive hormone pellets. The doctor refused to bill my insurance company so I did. The total cost was $250 and I had to pay up front. Turns out my insurance does pay the full amount. The doctor refused to reimburse me the total amount. They ARE a participating provider. Now they are going to get in trouble from the insurance company. Watch out. They are pocketing money.response from Cigna rep:“The amount of $134.32 is the amount Cigna paid the provider for the services. The claim was paid per their contracted rate so they should be reimbursing the member the full amount she paid. It will be up to the member whether she wants to accept their offer but I will still have Provider Relations follow up with their office. They should not be billing members upfront for services included in their contract and then refuse to submit the claims.”I bet this post gets removed!

I called looking to schedule an appointment and the lady that answered the phone wanted to go back and forth with me about the human body, how she does “this” for a living and every woman is the same. The interaction was extremely unprofessional and I wouldn’t send my worse enemy to this office. 0/0 stars

Dr Benezra, was very attentive and listened to my concerns, it does get full but he is a great gyn doc. ran the adequate tests and nailed my issue. staff is professional and customer service oriented.

I had a great experience with the Dr Benezra up until he referred me to get a test that cost $550 out of pocket and when I tried to get a follow up appointment with him, his staff kept pushing me away to refer me to a specialist. Inconsiderate staff. I dont see myself going back.

I have to say Cori is amazing. She takes her time answers all my questions and makes sure that I have a complete understanding before I leave. She makes me feel 100% comfortable. Im not one to talk about things and I have no issues talking to Cori!!! Love Cori and I would recommend Cori over and over again!
