In & Out Urgent Care - New Orleans

I was here from Nashville, Tennessee and this stop was necessary due to an emergency illness. My daughter and I found the location secure, clean, and comfortable. Also, from the front desk staff, nurses, and the PA made us feel confident with the knowledge and care we received. I would go back and I would bring my grandchildren to this location. Oh yes call ahead appointments to cut down on the wait time was available. Kudos!!!

From the receptionist to the doctor, I was shown more love than I have ever been shown in a healthcare environment. I would recommend and have recommended this facility to everyone l have spoken with today and will continue making recommendations about this facility and staff. This is now my place to how for urgent care. Great love you guys. Thanks from my whole heart.

I brought my son in on a Sunday and was seen super fast. The front desk staff was very helpful over the phone and when we arrived. Nurse Destiny and N.P. Kyle were very professional and knowledgeable. They helped us solve a mystery illness and were so relieved to be on a path to wellness! I would definitely use this place again for urgent care!

On vacation in Nola and had to visit urgent care for illness. I can’t say enough good about the staff here. Very efficient organization and caring staff. I felt I received better care and treatment plan than I would at my pcp at home. Kaylyn, the CMA was prompt, professional and very friendly. Shannon, the DNP provided me with comfort in a very professional manner. Her expertise in treating me was outstanding. She was also extremely caring, nurturing and super friendly. They had me in and out very quickly. Thank you!

From the front desk to the back room the staff was extremely friendly. They really mean In and Out! I believe I was there less than 30 minutes. That definitely is a huge bonus when you are sick and just want to go back to bed. Best place in town to go for non emergency care.

Had a great visit with urgent care. The nurse and physician assistant was thorough and attentive. Took their time and answered all of my questions. Most importantly I feel better after 12 hrs. Thank you

My provider was personable and professional...even behind a Fauci mask.She knew right away what my issue was and was gentle with the steroid shot she administered in my butt.The facility is very clean...front desk person was very nice.BUT....Hope I dont need to see them again!

Nurse Practitioner Shannon Dufrene was exceptional. She diagnosed my illness and then went way beyond to help me. She was professional, most competent, and caring. She was great. The whole staff was wonderful.

Every person I encountered was kind, thorough, and timely. I scheduled online to ensure a quick visit while I am feeling ill. The place is very clean and organized and I got excellent care. Will be returning

This is one of the best urgent care experiences I have had. The facility was clean, we were seen quickly, and everyone we interacted with was kind and helpful. My kid (the patient) even left with a lolly pop and sticker. Will return the next time urgent care is needed for sure.

The wait was a bit long yet thats the nature of a walk in with no appointment. The receptionist was very nice. I received very good care from the nurse, & doctor once I got called. I would definitely go again to avoid the huge emergency room costs. Thank you!

DO NOT GO HERE. The care at this urgent care isn’t just bad, it’s negligent. A person I was there with went there for a puncture wound (stepped on a dirty, rusty roofing nail that went through his shoe) and once the person who saw him (awful bedside manner - short, no empathy, cold, rushing him out) determined that he was up to date with his tetanus shot, did LITERALLY nothing. Except take the bandage off his foot that we had put on before going , and did not cover it again when he left. They did not do X-rays to check if there was anything still in his foot (standard for this injury), did not clean it (standard for this injury), did not prescribe antibiotics (crucial and standard for this injury), did not cover it back up (crucial and standard for this injury), and did not warn with the signs of infection and how high risk these types of injuries are to that (luckily, we knew that),l. AND THEN SURPRISE! Without antibiotics, his foot was showing signs of infection two days later and we went to an urgent care that ACTUALLY PROVIDES PROPER CARE (they did all of the above things, plus more - Urgent Care Mid-City is wonderful) and voila! His foot is significantly better within hours. DO NOT GO HERE.

My daughter had a bad sore throat so we stopped in after I picked her up from school.  Figured being a walk-in that we would have a wait.  Within 10 minutes we were in a room and being tested for strep and the flu.  Quick results and meds prescribed.  Staff was professional and polite.

Horrible service I am sick and feel horrible and I cannot get a steroid shot or a steroid pill. A useless zpac and “cough pills” what a joke I was loyal until now. I could’ve done tele doc for this bs. I asked for a shot and she said no. What a load of crap. You will lose a lot of customers over this. Both on the Northshore and south shore.

LOVED my experience here.Made an appt beforehand, when I came I just needed to check in, they needed to copy my ID & fill out one simple form. No sooner did I turn it in, they were coming out to call me back. The nurse was the SWEETEST & got me checked out, tested for COVID & the flu, and when those came back negative had the print out for viral infection alongside verbal recommendations and even went so far as to recommend primary care physicians in the area bc we just moved a week ago & hadnt established care yet.May not always be so quick but if we ever need urgent care in the future, I fully plan to come here for care 🩷

The doctor was very nice he explained everything he was doing an he was very respectful to me ..the lady at the front desk dont remember her name was very nice check me in an to the back fast ..an the nurse she was amazing nice happy respectful very nice thanks to all yall is the best 💯

If you have to go to urgent care, this is the place to go. The weight was very short. The staff was very friendly. Super clean the medical staff that I dealt with were kind, knowledgeable, and extremely professional. I received excellent care. I will definitely be going back again if I need to visit an urgent care.

Everyone is very courteous and conscious of patient waiting time. They really listen to what you have to say and explain in detail everything you need to know. I couldn’t be more happy with the patient care and service at this location!

Im traveling through New Orleans and had developed a kidney infection prior to my arrival. I called ahead to this clinic, then walked in. Customer service was exceptional, friendly and efficient. My attending NP was extremely thorough, knowledgeable, prompt and professional in my treatment. Im so grateful. I would highly recommend this clinic!

I am visiting from out of state and found myself in need of medical care. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Seriously in and out, it was the fastest medical visit Ive ever experienced. They even directed me to the nearest pharmacy for medication. A+ service.

I walked in off the street and their computers were down but I was still seen in what seemed like little time. The practitioners were patient , sympathetic and friendly. I would recommend them to anyone! 💚

They were all very attentive and caring. They saw my pain and treated me immediately to see if I should go somewhere else. Teshawn was great.

Woke up yesterday morning with a sore throat and fever. I am traveling out of state which is extremely rare for me so it was stressful to be going somewhere other than my primary care doctor. The staff was incredibly supportive and helpful. They not only took care of my physical symptoms and got me medication but they also helped me figure out the best way back to my hotel that saved me $50. It was a wonderful experience. I hope to come back to this city again with my family someday and the staff here are part of why I found the people of New Orleans so kind and beautiful.

Well, the nurse who administered my Covid test simply just didn’t do it right (only swabbed one nostril for less than a second, which is famously NOT how to administer a Covid test), the staff seemed like they couldn’t care less about what was actually wrong with me, the physician was extremely quick to diagnose me and said, and I quote, “it’s probably just a viral thing” and they charged me $50 just to tell me that and prescribe me nausea medicine that was $19. Our entire healthcare system is a joke and that was a complete waste of time.

Nurse/Paramedic Blake is awesome!!! So freaking caring and considerate not to mention funny as all get out as she was trying to kill a fly in my room lol and nurse practitioner Anese is a very kind and calm soul.. God bless them

The office was clean. The staff was attentive and very nice and courteous. I will be going back there, when or if needed. I will also recommend them to family and friends.

Usually my experience here is quick and easy. My main complaint though is that the last time I visited, the practitioner used language that was insensitive. He said that I have UTIs “all the time.” When hearing this, I felt judged and ashamed. I think using words like “frequent” or “chronic” would have been more appropriate because they are quantitative and more accurate than “all the time.”

Dr. Trena was AWESOME!!! The service was fast. I was visiting from out of town and they saw me with no problem.I highly recommend this doctor and staff❤️

It was easy to schedule an appointment.  The staff is friendly.  The doctor was great & very discerning.  I felt taken care of.

The place is called In and Out, that implies quick service. They had us wait for 2 and a half hours. Dr came in and he was done in less than 5 minutes. 100 dollars just like that. Very unhappy with this experience

I was a walk-in with no appointment and was surprised to find the waiting room almost empty. The check-in process is very easy and I was seen within 5-10 minutes. Both the staff and physician assistant who saw me were pleasant, easily understood and cared for my condition professionally. I will return for care in the future and I recommend this provider.

I made an appointment online. When I arrived the receptionist was warm and friendly. The nurse who too my initial readings was professional and thorough. Shannon, the nurse practitioner was great. Very thorough and really explained things well. Although I don’t like being sick this was a perfect experience. Fortunately, I got ahead of my sore throat and earache and the medicine prescribed will knock it out quickly. I am very glad I went to In and Out Urgent Care. Thank you!!

Quick and courteous! Front desk, DNP and paramedic were excellent and had me in & out in minutes (just like the name says). Will definitely return for my next Zorbing or parkour mishap, or even just a normal set of stitches.

Absolutely worst service possible, if u see this try another urgent care. The lady at the desk was very rude and disrespectful. Also if you have insurance certain insurance they don’t take & they tell u once u get there after u booked your appointment. 0/10.

At 130pm we made an appointment online for a 340pm appointment.It Was an hour after the appointment time that we got to finally be seen.Dont bother making an appointment online,Expect to wait well past appointment time or you are better off just going elsewhere from the start.

In & Out Urgent Care is the best urgent care in the area. The customer service is excellent but, most importantly, the doctors and nurse practitioners are extremely knowledgeable and care about the patients they see. I love that they have a location very close to where I live but, even if it were not, I would still travel a few miles to be seen here because I know they will definitely take care of whatever medical issue Im there for.

I’m not from around here but it was probably the best urgent care I’ve ever been too! The staff was super nice. And the receptionist Raegan was amazingly kind and helpful! Had a wonderful experience. Thank you guys!

Call in for someone to come in to take an x-ray, and that was important to me. I didnt have to drive to go somewhere else and in pain.

This clinic does it right! Today I went in and saw Dr. Lyons. The nurse prior to seeing her (unfortunately her name escapes me) was absolutely phenomenal and extremely efficient. She was very patient with me and my brain fog. Dr. Lyons was very pleasant and had a fantastic bedside manner. I was extremely impressed with the cleanliness of the clinic as well. My only critique was that as a new patient, I filled out the same question about 3-4 times with the analog and digital check-in processes, but I feel like thats about average for a doctors visit. Overall, a fantastic visit, and Im on the road to recovery because of it!

Train your staff on Tricare processes, I ended up at another urgent care with my child after a 1.5 hour wait because of billing and didn’t have an issue. I was on the phone with the Tricare rep during this visit with no luck. Both locations were IN NETWORK so that wasn’t the issue. The protocol should have been to bill them directly after seeing I didn’t have a co pay. Deductible goes to the insurance company. (Second location, did just that and I’m sure the first time I came to this location, that was done as well).TO NOTE AGAIN: I didn’t have an issue the first visit because my deductible was sent straight to Tricare. Second time, new personnel I guess.

Efficient turnaround time. Professional staff. Excellent doctor. Was traveling from out of town and efficient. The Doctors treatment has been successful.

Great experience. Fast in and out. Scheduled online and was seen almost immediate after intake form was filled. Very professional and attentive. Total time was about 20 minutes from check in to walking out the door to go pick up my prescriptions.

I always receive excellent care here. My experience is fantastic from check in to check out. The wait is always within the posted timeframe on their site. I never have to wait long once I’m brought back to the exam room. The nurses and doctors are all thorough and kind!

Once I got into a room service was quick and efficient; but it took longer than expected to get called into a room.

I was in a lot of pain when I went in . It was a short waiting time but Waiting longer would have been worth it even in the pain I was in. The three women who helped me ( I didn’t ask if they wanted me to include their names) made me feel so safe and comforted in one of the most vulnerable experiences I’ve had in my lifetime so far. I They treated me with so much humanity and care. They made sure I got an appointment today for my next step. They were so thorough every step of the way. You can tell their heart is in the work that they do. I am eternally grateful. 💚

The wait was short (filling out intake took longest). Waiting and exam rooms were clean. The doctors and nurses are very good. They listen attentively to your concerns and assess illness accurately.However, the check in process is arduous, redundant, and inefficient. Patients should not have to fill out the same information both on paper and digitally and on a kiosk, nor should return patients have to fill out all of the same basic info each time - particularly when theyre already feeling badly enough to seek urgent care. You might as well not have a receptionist if I have to do most of the job myself. Necessitating the use of an app on ones smart phone to check in to a doctor deminishes accessibility, which is the last thing a medical facility should do.

So the care was pretty good. The doctor was very nice, however the np was awful! I was sick as a dog I couldn’t stop coughing. The doctor was sympathetic then the np came in and took over. She was very rough! She grabbed my neck and demanded to know if I’d been tested for strep. Every time anyone spoke she rolled her eyes. They left me alone in the waiting room after letting me know that I didn’t have Covid which was a relief! So as I waited for the rest of my results I started texted my family to let them know the good news the np came back and as I put down my phone not distracted at all she snapped at me “ maybe let’s text who ever that is later while I give you your results!” Well I was floored! I have always shown respect with my phone what on public and I felt reprimanded like a child. I was sick and in pain and she was rolling her eyes the entire time she gave me results. Then she quickly prescribed some meds wouldn’t explain anything other then to tell me “one of them will make. You sleep!! I forget which one!!” Turned out when I got to the pharmacy that was not accurate at all! I’d go back but pray I didn’t get her again!*update* I had to go to the er because I didn’t get better! I got uncontrollable vomiting and diarrhea! It turns out they misdiagnosed me so no I wouldn’t go back!!

I live 40 minutes away and needed these results in a timely manner. very unprofessional staff and I will never return. We had a great (best) experience weve had at an urgent care. Were able to preregister for our visit online which was very convenient and minimized our wait time. Were seen almost immediately after arriving and checking in. All of the staff was friendly and helpful. Shout out to RN Natalie who was AMAZING with our little girl who needed stitches. She was very professional, took her time and made her feel calm and at ease. Keep providing the same wonderful service to your patients.

Friendly and efficient. Seemed honest, caring, and knowledgeable. There was a bit of a wait to be seen even though I had made an appointment, but once taken back, everything was smooth and quick.

Used to be free with Access 2day, but not anymore. Plus it costs a higher copay. They didn’t advertise this on the website, only posted on the wall once you arrive. You have to make an appointment but still wait to be helped on first-come-first-served basis. They said they would send out a lab and call me with results in 3-5 days. I called after 8 business days and was told they never sent it in. I asked the reason and they said they’d call me back, but never did. I called twice and got the same response. Would not go here again. Go to Ochsner urgent care which is better all around (know the cost up-front, no appointments, follow through with promises, very professional).

AMAZING front desk staff, nurses and doctor. I came in for a routine physical for school and everyone was so sweet and accommodating and the doctor went above and beyond to help with my eye issues and with my physical. Totally worth the drive and I would highly recommend this facility to anyone, I’m definitely coming back for all my healthcare needs

I went to get a physical done at this place of business and the experience I had was horrible. I called the day before and asked about physicals for school. I was told they do physicals and walk ins are welcomed. I also asked if the doctor would be able to fill out my paperwork and I was told yes. So the next day I arrived and everything was going good until the doctor came into the room. I just asked her if she could fill out my paperwork and she stated she could do the physical but my primary doctor would have to fill out the rest. Not a big deal. So I simply stated I wish I would have known that because I could have just went to my primary and saved $40. I also mentioned again that I asked this when I called the day before. I wasn’t being disrespectful or rude. She states look you can go to your primary doctor and you could get a refund. Tells the front desk person look refund her money and goes to the back and starts talking about me to the other staff about how rude she was to me and she told me look you can get a refund. The other staff member joined in and said oh she just wanted to visit us that was a waste of time. I thought you are suppose to lead by example. Very unprofessional and rude. My response to what was going on to the front desk staff was damn they could have waited until I left to talk about me. Will never return. I’m still waiting on my REFUND. It’s about to be 2 weeks.

The entire staff was polite, professional, and efficient. Today is Christmas Eve and over 50 people checked in within the first hour. Rachelle was at the front desk and did a fantastic job checking everyone in, monitoring phone calls, and answering questions. Shannon the NP evaluated and treated me quickly. No one wants to be at an urgent care facility on Christmas, but I must say that I was very impressed with the service provided.

The front desk was very helpful. The nurses were extremely professional, and the wait time was minimal all around a great experience.

I’ve scheduled my appointment online, and received a text and it was time to head that way. They promptly checked me in and within 15 minutes. I was called back. Nurse practitioner saw me within about five minutes of waiting. She was very conscientious and thorough. I was in and out of there in 50 minutes total. Satisfied patient/customer.

This is a particularly great branch of Urgent Care. I have never had a bad experience here (Ive visited 5 or so times, a few with an appointment, a few without); the staff is incredibly caring, yet also all business. I have never had to wait longer than 10 minutes here, personally. They call in your prescription for you, and its usually ready for pickup at the pharmacy of your choice within 15 minutes. I was feeling particularly ill the last time I went, and every staff member I passed on my way out (after a quick and effective diagnosis) eagerly told me, Get well soon! They are always on the same page (it is clearly well run) and surprisingly compassionate and attentive, especially on the slower days when they can afford to be. A++!

The only thing you did for me was get me a referral. The person you referred me to does not take any insurance. The whole experience was a waste of time.

I have been going to this clinic for ages and I love it. With quick service and very nice doctors, its my go to urgent care and Ill continue to drive the 20 minutes from my house to get its high quality service. If I could change and make anything better it would just be to go through the work phones voicemail box but even then I almost always get a call back quickly. Anyway, thank yall for helping me time and time again, and for the amazing service and feeling of being a priority as a patient every time I come despite me being under twenty years old. :)

I had a very good experience getting a rapid covid test. They opened at 7am and I had only 3-4 people ahead of me. Quick digital sign in (save your place in line) then paper & digital info. I was able to send them my insurance info digitally which is good because I forgot hard copy but had a photo in my phone. The exam was quick and results in 15 minutes. Office is clean, comfortable, friendly staff. This is an asset to the neighborhood and I will return.

In & Out Urgent Care is a lifesaver! The staff are professional, courteous, efficient and really live up to the name of the place from beginning to end. The intake process at reception was quick. I went in for an 11:30 a.m. appointment for an alarming and mysterious ailment that appeared overnight and placed me in excruciating pain. The caring and respectful nurse practitioner, who saw me immediately, had me diagnosed, treated and walking out the door within 30 minutes! The front desk had already called in my prescriptions to the nearest CVS, which had them ready upon my arrival 10 minutes later. I couldnt believe how swift and effective these folks were. Thank goodness, though. I arrived home pain free and in far better shape than when I left, thanks to In & Out Urgent Care and its wonderful staff.

Courteous, clean, quick, and efficient.Staff were very kind and helpful at check in. Although quite professional, the front office personnel displayed a warm empathy. The intake staff was sort of to-the-point, now, next please. Certainly not rude, but not as sympathetic as the front desk staff and nurse practitioner.The lobby and facility were very nice. Everything was clean and orderly, and smelled fresh. No anesthetic smell, just clean.Arrived about 9:30 AM, and picked up my prescription at Walgreens, two miles away, at 10:30 AM. Completed a brief, 2-page information sheet. Provided a copy of insurance and ID that was verified while processing papers. Within 15 minutes of arrival I was chatting with the nurse practitioner. Ten minutes later I had received an injection and was on the way to the pharmacy.Wow! Now that is efficient.Would not hesitate to use again or refer others. 👍

So, I guess my biggest complaint is how far off the estimated walk in wait time was on the check in screen. I got there about 10:40am and it said 35-50 minutes. 2 hours later I still hadn’t even gone back. I understand that it’s not always accurate but being off that much was pretty frustrating. I would recommend making an appointment. No complaints about anything other than the wait but it was irritating to say the least.

Came in from New Jersey and was greeted with such kindness and warm welcome. The nurse explained everything she saw and went into detail on why she was prescribing me the medications she was. Made me feel like I really understood what was happening and how it would make me better! Extremely intelligent and kind staff, no where in New Jersey even compares!!!

Other than a website that had no way to enter my DOB in order make an online appointment, this clinic was great. Didnt have to wait more than half an hour to see the doctor, and she was kind and efficient.. She listened and took account of all information I gave her. Three lab tests produced results within minutes (covid, flu, and strep). She was very understanding about our situation as tourists and looked up a Pharmacy which was accessible. Saved our trip!

They made me kind of trust people again. (That should say a lot in this day and age)

I went to this facility around 11 am today. I was immediately told of the 1 hour wait. I appreciated the opportunity to wait or come back later. When I returned around 2:30, I was taken immediately. The staff were professional, courteous and informative. I was given some options and was able to participate in my treatment (which I greatly appreciated.) All costs involved were described to me prior to treatment. I highly recommend In & Out Urgent Care on Claiborne.

I am absolutely impressed with the entire staff!!!! I used to practice nursing, and I can promise you, they are awesome! From explaining to a complete assessment based on the symptoms I presented with, they literally had me In and Out!!!! They are professional, the clinic was immaculate, the receptionist even took time out to explain a treatment process to a man who walked in, and didnt have an aappointment,nor did he make one! I ended up at the clinic accidentally looking for another one! But Im grateful I did!!!!

I was seeing within 15 minutes of my arrival at the clinic. Filled out a little paperwork and saw a nurse practitioner almost immediately. Diagnosis was quick. I was given a steroid shot and two prescriptions to take to my pharmacist. I was in and out within 45 minutes. Very professional and caring staff. This is the third time I visited this Clinic, each visit has been a very pleasant experience.

Went there today for the first time for an ankle injury. It was a Sunday and I had no problems making a same-day appointment online. Once I got there, I was seen within minutes. Every member of staff was polite, accommodating and professional. They wasted no time getting me into the x-ray room. They were very thorough in explaining their diagnosis and the next steps I had to take, as well as fielding my questions. So grateful for this experience, thanks yall!

I never thought I would be taking time out of my day to positively review an experience with a walk in clinic, yet here I am. I was pleasantly surprised by the care I received at this clinic. Everyone was very considerate of me not having insurance, and worked to find cheap solutions to my problems. I felt like they actually cared too. I highly recommend this clinic, 10/10.

This was my second time coming here & I was lucky enough to have Shannon as the nurse practitioner on duty both times. My first visit she sutured a dog bite under my left eye. She was compassionate & extremely competent, taking her time and treating me like a family member. She did such an excellent job, there is no scar! Now I can put that terrifying episode behind me without thinking about it every time I look in the mirror. Today she treated a foot injury with the same caring. I definitely feel blessed to have crossed paths with her. The office staff were also courteous and helpful. I highly recommend this urgent care center.

I had a great experience here. The staff were friendly and attentive, and I felt they listened to me about my symptoms. It was very busy at the clinic, and there was a bit of a wait (other patients were experiencing longer wait times ahead of me, but the staff explained there were patients being seen with complicated issues so it was taking longer). I spent some time in the waiting room and some in the exam room, but it didnt seem excessive or unexpected for a walk-in clinic. The staff were apologetic about the wait nonetheless, and did everything to get me in and out. I got a few tests, a shot, and some prescriptions, and I was out the door! I have no complaints at all, and will be going back there next time Im feeling horrible!

The physician was kind and helped a lot, but they stopped taking a certain facet of my insurance without notice and also sent my prescription to the wrong pharmacy after I wrote the correct one on two different pieces of paper.

Received great care at In & Out Urgent Care after I sliced my hand open on a Saturday afternoon. There was only one other patient when I arrived and I was seen very quickly. The staff were very caring and compassionate, bringing me water and an ice pack when I started to feel a little faint during the numbing/suturing process. The clinic is in good repair and was very clean. This is definitely my go-to urgent care spot!

Everything about my experience at In and Out urgent care was awesome. The staff were quick and attentive. Dr. Blake was very nice and took time to make sure I was taken care off. The building was clean and very comfortable. I am from out of town and I felt at home. would definitely recommend.

This facility was great. No wait time since I was the only one in there at the time. All the staff was very nice and professional. Debated going to the er for my issue but so glad I chose this urgent care instead. It was so much faster. The place was very nice looking and clean. They even had a little play area in the waiting room so my toddler could sit out there and play with my husband while they waited on me to get done. I would definitely go back again if needed.

She listened to my concerns and was very knowledgeable. The nurse/phlebotomist that drew my blood was very gentle and kind. I would definitely recommend this place.

I was very impressed with my whole experience with In & Out Urgent Care. I was in and out very quickly. I dont think we were even in there an hour. The staff (front desk, nurses, and doctor) were all very friendly. Top notch bed-side manner. I was diagnosed quickly and the facility is very clean and tidy.

I had a great experience. I loved that I could make an appointment online. It was fast. I was in and out in 35 minutes. The doc was knowledgeable and helpful with choices since I have no insurance. The cost was $148, which included the visit ($100) and a steroid shot. I will definitely go back!

Best Urgent Care Ive ever been too!!

Now that I am semi better I can write this review. On Wednesday April. 27.2022 I visited this urgent. Based off all these great reviews Im wondering if I just went on a bad day. .or these reviews arent as accurate. I arrived at this urgent care with many flu/covid symptoms and feeling very lethargic. After sitting in the waiting room for several hours I eventually got up to ask for a wait time that I didnt have much time that I had to get my daughter. I was called to the back shortly after. The young lady apologized many times about the extremely lengthy wait. I was told many different reasons as to why it was a serveral hour wait. Reason 1) it was a shift change at some point in those hours with Dr.Jay and Dr.Shannon. Reason 2) Dr.Jay had to do something to a patient that take a very long time. I have reasons to believe staff may have been lollygagging in the back instead of getting patients IN AND OUT. I asked the young lady who was taking my vitals was it possible to get swabbed and they call me back with results and treatment plan. .since I had to leave after sitting in the waiting room for serveral hours in tears. She asked Dr.Jay was that possible. From inside the room I heard the whole conversation with Dr.Jay and the young lady. Dr.Jay was exerermly rude, unsympathetic and his tone of voice was absolutely disgusting. Ive never heard anything like it coming from a Dr. In plain terms he told her to tell me it wasnt possible and that I can leave if I want too. The young came back in and tired to put the Dr. words in the nicest way possible. I made it clear to her that it wasnt necessary that I heard the whole conversation that I will be contacting someone. In the end its not about him not wanting to fulfill my needs. . Its the fact I heard the rude conversation it was disappointing and disgusting to hear. Im so glad I didnt let him treat me with the attitude he had. Also, if he talks to staff members like that about patients. .this matter needs to be addressed. Its not okay! I left that building feeling even worse from when I came in. I am reaching out to the proper people about this matter. Nobody deserves to over hear a Dr. talking about them in such nasty tone.UPDATE: 05/14/22Still waiting on someone to contact me about this matter. I have emailed overhead and waiting for a response.

I dont remember the nurses name but she was very professional and had a great patience which helped me to relax.Dr. Blake was very informative and he listened to my complaint and discussed treatment choices. He also looked up extra information and gave me literature.If I were in need of an Urgent Care visit (and I pray I am not). I would go back to them a great team.

Im visiting from DC and injured my knee. I didn’t have a hard copy of my insurance card and my phone wouldn’t work to upload my card to the webpage. The woman at the front desk (sorry I forgot her name 🤦🏽‍♀️) was so nice and offered several other options to get my info taken care of. Everyone in the back were polite and professional. They even offered to push me around in a wheelchair.As an out of towner, I was skeptical and nervous about needing care but I would totally recommend this spot. Thanks to the staff for your help.

Came at 8:50 AM and sat in the waiting room for almost an hour with one other person. A third came in and was in and out before both of us. The staff is friendly but quite quick to get through their work once they called me back, which was a bit unnerving considering I waited for so long. I come here often, and it’s always a coin toss to their overall service and care. Dunno if you can call this place Urgent Care, more like “We’ll Get to You and See Whats Up” ....

I was diagnosed with acute bronchitis was seen by an NP. Prescribed Zpak. Told to go to ER with chest pain.or shortness of breath. Was told he was not able to.make a determination of pneumonia. No test was administered.

The nursing staff and physician were friendly, professional, and addressed my issue quickly.

Not sure it was in network for me, but all I needed was a flu shot and TB test so I called before hand to ask about cost and it was reasonable. They take walk ins. It was about an hour wait, so it might be easier to make an appointment, but I was happy be able to get it done that day. Nurses were friendly and personable. Shots took no time at all.

I did not have a good experience. I waited for over two hours to be seen by the nurse practictioner with an appointment. I came in the clinic with an open wound, the nurse practictioner failed to clean it or dress it after I requested. I received the bare minimum care, which is not what I expected.

The Doctors, Nurses and Staff were amazing. They listened to my concerns and addressed all of them. The total visit may have been 30 minutes which included me having to fill out paperwork! I will definitely be back just hopefully not to soon!

I definitely wouldn’t recommend coming here. I had an appointment for 11:40am. I came early at 11:22am so I would have time to fill out paperwork. Then I received a text from them saying they were running 22 minutes behind so my new appointment time would be at 12:01pm. I’m just leaving this place at 1:35pm because they called 3 other people before me that came after me, they didn’t have appointments and were just regular walk-ins all because they had an access card which is ridiculous and unfair. So if you go here just know even if you have a scheduled appointment, they will call people who don’t have appointments and just walked in before you bc they have an access card.

I liked the ability to check-in online and they already had me in the system when I arrived. They were courteous, friendly, helpful and took the time to answer all of my health questions, even those that seemed tangent from my initial symptoms. I completely trust their work and know that they will follow up in a few days, as they always have before. Thanks for being available, approachable, competent, and professional!

We had an excellent experience at In & Out Urgent Care today. My 4yr-old was not feeling well and was seen by nurse practitioner, Shannon. She was thorough and patient. She also took the time to ensure the pharmacy had the medication we needed. Thank you to all the staff.

The doctor and nurses were nice and helpful but I cannot recommend this place.It took 80mins from entering the urgent care until IV got administered. Even though only two people were in front of me when I arrived.Also, there was no triaging at all; people how looked completely fine and were playing on their phones got in before me while at the same time I felt so sick I could barely keep my eyes open and myself on the chair.Places like this shouldnt be allowed to operate as *urgent* care.

The ladies at In & Out were simply amazing. They saw that I was in distress and helped me quickly without hesitation. They addressed my nausea, Dehydration and pain within the first 10 minutes of triage. In a climate where statics prove black women suffer because we are not believed about our pain, I was afraid that my pain would be downplayed or overlooked. The staff treated me like family and clearly empathized with me. They were fast and efficient. This is the best experience I’ve ever had a an urgent care. Thank you for all your help!! I walked in and was done in less than 30mins. The Receptionist and Nurse were very polite and explained every step. Timing is everything, the earlier the better. Today was truly an in and out day.

Kind and professional from start to finish. Very Quick some what too quick almost robotic. But quick and robotic is what you need when you have to get a physical and be back at work before 9. The intake specialist was kind and the intake nurse was friendly and welcoming. The Nurse practitioner was really in and out just as they advised , however I wish my past depression had been addressed. For example if I checked depression in the past maybe they could have asked well how do you feel today or is the a issue that comes and goes. With she had been a little more personal or caring touch like the nurse.

I got in and out rather quickly, a little longer than expected but several people in the waiting area. The service was excellent, explained my diagnosis and the recommended treatment. They even emailed a prescription and it was ready within 15 minutes of my arrival.

My Father experienced severe sunburn, with large blisters, as we were out of town, we needed someplace for treatment.We were seen within 10 minutes from arrival and left building 20 minutes later. He was treated well by all the great staff. Stacy, Nurse Practitioner, was very pleasant and thorough.Definitely recommend for your Urgent Care health needs!! Thank you!!

I went here to get a TB skin test and the service was great! Booking the appointment online was super easy and everything went smoothly when I got there. The test was reasonably priced and the staff were really nice. Good experience overall.

Such a great experience! My visit was fairly quick. The facility was very clean and comfortable and the entire staff was so sweet and friendly! Dr. Trina was absolutely wonderful! I will always return to this location and refer others here as well!

I realized I was in serious trouble (bad cat bite) five minutes before the facility closed. I arrived two minutes before the door locked, and I was treated like royalty with a grievous emergency. Within ten minutes Id had an injection, received two prescriptions, and been given detailed instructions and explanations. On top of that, all of the staff was SO sweet and funny--and uncomplaining about my keeping them open after closing. If only all medical care could be delivered this way!

If its on a scale from 1 to 5, I give it a 10 for an off the chart examination. The company lived up to its name, I was literally in and out. Each of the nurses were genuine and very informative. I’ve been here twice, and seen completely different people; each experience was equally as positive! It’s super difficult to find a decent walk-in clinic, and I’ve been to dozens, but this is definitely the only one that I would definitely recommend! Knowledgeable, intelligent, and accommodating, which is difficult to find anywhere, so I am surprisingly impressed with my visits thus far.

Dont go here, please just choose another place. My girlfriend got in a car accident and came here directly after. The person at the front desk was rude however she was seen by a doc/nurse and treated. Two days later her symptoms are getting worse. She calls to speak to a doc/nurse regarding the new intense pain. She was put on hold until she was hung up on. She called again to be placed back on hold, however the person at the front desk was again, very rude and told her it was just indigestion, and that she cant talk to a nurse or doctor, then hung up on her. The doc/nurse did not give her a strong dose per her symptoms, nor did they speak to her about returning to work or documentation for this. Their staff will minimize your issue and gate keep if you can be in touch with the medical professionals, dont go here. You wont get adequate treatment.

This was my first visit to an urgent care facility. Ordinarily I would’ve gone to the emergency room. However a colleague suggested an urgent care facility since the injury was not too serious. Personnel at In & Out Urgent Care were professional, considerate, polite, and thorough. They took all the time I needed but didn’t waste any time. In & Out Urgent Care will be my go-to medical facility when I need unscheduled care for events that don’t require a full hospital emergency facility. Definitely 5 stars!

I would have given them 5 stars, but my wait was longer than I anticipated. That being said, the wait was still MUCH shorter than any ER or doctors appointment. The nurse practitioner was patient, and thorough. The staff was efficient and kind. I would definitely recommend this place.

Excellent experience. The check in system is efficient and I was seen in a reasonable amount of time by a very knowledgeable nurse prationer who actually diagnosed me correctly with ear infections and sinus infection after having been to another Urgent Care 3 days prior. I am finally going to have a good night of sleep. Thank you SO much.

I give everyone there a 5 star rating. This was a much better experience than I have ever received with any of my primary care physicians. Brittany and Dr. Lenfant were very thorough and patient in explaining their diagnosis and treatment. They listened to all of our concerns and addressed each issue thoughtfully and promptly. The facility is comfortable, staffed with concerned and friendly people. Dr. Lenfant and Brittany were also both available for informative follow-up phone calls between visits. I would highly recommend this facility for non-ER urgent care.

They take time to talk to you and really find out whats happening and they can help you even with the dummest question.I came in for the first time as I am only on vacation here. They helped me find a pharmacy thats on the way, they helped me with the chaos of my insurance, and they really treated me like they cared. I felt like Im in good hands!

I felt like I was coming down with the flu--booked an appt on line for the next morning although I could have easily walked in the night before. Easy access right off Claiborne with plenty of parking. Clean, comfortable facilities and most importantly no long wait. Flu was confirmed, prescription dialed into my pharmacy and I was out of there in under 30 minutes.

My general doctors office is closed on the weekends. I had an issue that started to arise on Friday and by Sunday I couldn’t take it anymore so I went to In & Out Urgent Care. They brought me in quickly. Made sure I felt comfortable and provided me with the appropriate medication that by mid afternoon I was already feeling much improved. Will definitely return if I have an urgent issue that arises again.

This place has issues with staffing and volume and covid safety. They had a problem with their printers that shut down their entire office, but instead of notifying people, they had appointments running hours behind and a full waiting room without social distancing. Staff doesnt know what has happened previously. I tried to reschedule only to be told that they dont perform physicals, even though I had been there the week before for the same appointment. The left hand doesnt know what the right hand is doing. Go somewhere else that is more organized and professional. This is not it.

I had a great experience here. I was in and out within a hour. I did arrive 15 minutes before they opened but they started me on the paper work right away so I could be seen as soon as the nurse practitioner got in. The LPN who took my patient assessment and vitals was super nice and understanding. She could tell I was in a lot of pain and that it hurt to talk. She made sure I was comfortable and immediately asked me if I thought it was strep throat and if I wanted to do a strep test. Everyone has had strep throat at least once. If you think you have strep ASK for a strep test if they dont ask you. Its that easy. I was given an antibiotic and steroid shot and felt better that afternoon. Would go see them again.

I was taken back to be examined early and got a quick diagnosis. The staff was great.

Went in with flu-like symptoms. There’s a test for that. Turns out I do have the flu. Very efficient operation. A lot of your experience will depend on luck as far as wait time. When I arrived, there was only one person ahead of me. By the time I left, half an hour later, there must have been 8 people waiting. You can sign-in online. Not sure if that really changes your place in line.

During a cross country trip our beautiful Great Granddaughter shared her URI with her Great Grandpa. What started as an ordinary cold turned into much more. Not seemingly going away as it should, decided to seek help at the Mandeville In n Out Rapid Care. It was to say the least one of the best medical appointments I’ve had. The receptionist was friendly efficient and kind. The FNP and the nurse were exceptional. I was seen in a timely manner, diagnosed, and treated. Instructions were clear and I left confident the treatment prescribed would indeed take care of my illness. Thank you to all at Mandeville In n Out Rapid Care.

Dr. Dufrene and the staff at In & Out Urgent Care New Orleans provide top notch, compassionate and thorough care to their patients. I made an appointment very easily through their website, hoping to be seen the next day, which I was. I arrived for my scheduled appointment time the next day, checked in and was brought back to an exam room without any wait time. The amazing Mr. “H” was kind, professional and calming to me while I had my vital signs obtained and then blood work performed on-site. I have recommended In & Out and Dr.Shannon Dufrene specifically to anyone that I know or meet who expresses an urgent/immediate healthcare need or reoccurring medical issue that needs the attention of a physician. Dr. Dufrene assessed, diagnosed, treated and then provided a PCP recommendation for my continued care.I will HAPPILY choose In & Out again in the future for my own medical needs, as well as for the urgent needs of my children and spouse. THE BEST urgent care facility and healthcare providers in Nola! Worth my time (and every penny in gas!) to make the drive from my neighboring city, past a dozen “other” local urgent care locations, just to go to the In & Out Urgent Care @ 6225 S. Claiborne Ave.!!

I had a horrible visit! Wait time was Rediculous and waiting room was way too hot! When I finally got to see the doc it was for maybe 5 min. How was the wait time so long if he only spends 5-10 min?!! And not to mention the place was not crazy busy, may have just been steady with patients. I went in for a terribly painful ear ache, possible infection. Left with a script for 3 antibiotic pills and a small bottle of ear drops. $135 later I am still in as much pain if not more, with severe swelling in my ear. Happy to say Ill never return.

I was at this location twice this week for COVID rapid test. In both instances there were multiple staff members removing or not wearing masks. Today there was an unmasked off the clock employee in the lobby alongside the front check in desk within a couple feet of patients for at least 15 minutes. The wait times were 2-3 hours and patients were being discouraged from waiting in the car or at home for their appointment time, including an elderly woman. The waiting room was full of people waiting for covid tests and there was not enough room to properly social distance. I was extremely uncomfortable and disappointed.

Finally an urgent care closer to home I would recommend this urgent care to any and everybody. They saw my daughter and they had her in and out in no time. The Doc and staff are very nice, friendly and listened. I would definitely bring her back.
