I cannot recommend Five Seasons enough - such a wonderful, caring therapeutic practice. An oasis of healing and compassion in NYC! Erin in particular is the most wonderful practitioner; I always look forward to my appointments with her.

Highly highly recommend. I have been going to Sharon Yeung at Five Seasons Healing since 2022. I started seeing her mainly for IVF support and general health issues, including mental, physical, and high stress and anxiety levels. She made me feel heard regarding my emotional and physical pain and helped me feel better almost immediately after each session. She is very thorough in understanding your concerns, taking time to listen and trying to find the root causes of issues while also treating present symptoms. Not a joke, 1 hour acupuncture visit feels like 10 therapy sessions combined! When Im in a stressed mode, I cant really eat (due to lack of appetite or indigestion) or sleep well. However, after my weekly session, I always feel relaxed and have a much better appetite.

Last year I was diagnosed with stage 5 kidney disease and told that dialysis was imminent. I learned of this during pretesting for orthopedic surgery. I was further told that if I had the surgery, which they postponed due to the diagnosis, dialysis would be immediate. A very good friend put me in touch with Sharon Yeung at Five Seasons Healing. Her treatment and guidance has so significantly improved my condition that my doctors have all been baffled. My kidney specialist nursing team now believes that I will never be in need of dialysis as I continue to improve.I cannot say enough good things about Sharon. Her compassion, intelligence, knowledge, and ability to hear her patients concerns, fears and desires is unrivaled. She is always on top of things and seeking to make improvement upon improvement for her patients. I have literally entrusted her with my life and she always makes me feel that I have made the correct choice. Honesty and clarity are paramount with Sharon so that who can always feel confident that you are on the best path for wellness. I could go on forever so instead I will leave just one last observation. Without Sharon, I would not be doing as well as I am today.

From my wife: My baby was breech at 34 weeks and on the recommendation of my OBGYN to pursue acupuncture, I reached out to Sharon in hopes to flip the baby. She scheduled me quickly, ran down my insurance to make sure if it was covered it got paid for, and the acupuncture treatment was fabulous and holistic. The office is very clean and comfortable. They had props to allow for comfortable treatment on my back side or stomach. After just two treatments (along with spinning babies circuit at home), even though I didn’t notice it, the baby was verified to have cephalic presentation less than one week later. Sharon also provided Moxa Sticks for daily use at home.

Sharon and the other practitioners at Five Seasons Healing are amazing. I have been seeing Sharon for 4+ years and she has helped me with so many things from colds to allergies to conception. In the last 2.5 years Sharon has supported me while trying to conceive and I ultimately think that its thanks to her that I was able to naturally. I have had a wonderful pregnancy, feeling great with good energy and low adverse symptoms. I know that both my treatments and my herbs prescribed have made all the difference in my experience. I have been going to Sharon since 2011 and it has been such a wonderfully positive experience. Sharon is incredibly attentive, compassionate, empathetic, and intuitive. She listens carefully, asks questions, and sees me as a whole person with intrinsically connected emotional, physical, and spiritual health. Sharon has helped me pre and postpartum, as I first went to see her when I was 18 months postpartum and feeling depleted from extended breastfeeding and lack of sleep. Sharon has also helped me with skin issues from psoriasis and thrush. And most recently, Chinese herbs/medicine cured an episode of mastitis for me. This was amazing and I was SO grateful not to have to take antibiotics. I am so glad I found Sharon. I was struggling severely with endometriosis, endometriomas, and chronic pain compounded with PMDD for years.I absolutely love that Sharon is a doula. It beautifully shows through in her compassion, sensitivity, and mindfulness that is expressed in her practice of engagement and care that I received from her. Sharon is also incredibly trauma informed in her approaches to being attentive, careful, and considerate of placements as well as always checking in on the pressure level, pain level, and progress (physically/mentally) of her clients. There were sessions that were extremely difficult and Sharon was gentle, patient, and kind in all of the ways that I did not think were even possible within an acupuncture session.I always felt comfortable to vocalize my concerns and have been able to share what I would like to navigate, tend to, and uncover in each of our sessions. Sharon creates an incredible sense of safety and warmth which is so helpful and integral when coming from a place of deep pain and loss in ones body.In many ways, sessions with Sharon have allowed me to come back to both my body and my spirit. This was something that I did not even expect to get from acupuncture, and I am grateful. Upon follow-up six months into treatment, my endometriomas had shrunken in size significantly and the radiology tech said to me whatever you are doing, dont stop. An exceptional and worthwhile investment: I am 35 weeks pregnant and have been seeing Sharon for the majority of my pregnancy. I initially looked into Chinese acupuncture because I was diagnosed with a subchorionic hematoma. While they can be mild, they can also present significant complications for women like me - of advanced maternal age.From our intake appointment, Sharon addressed each of the concerns I presented throughout the duration of this pregnancy - the aforementioned hematoma, sciatica, chronic nasal congestion and a variety of other pregnancy-related discomforts.Through acupuncture and her prescribed herbal formulas, I am confident that Sharons support has been instrumental in keeping me healthy, active and generally comfortable throughout my pregnancy. Sharon has been with me throughout my entire journey to becoming a mother. I started with Sharon after an early miscarriage, and through the assistance of acupuncture and herbs we achieved pregnancy quickly. Sharon supported me through my pregnancy with acupuncture when I had serious hip pain. I had a very difficult postpartum period, and unfortunately, my milk supply was low and I went to Sharon for lactation support. I tried fenugreek, more milk plus, lactation teas, and pumping several times a day. I truly believe that it was acupuncture and especially the herbal preparation that Sharon prescribed that made the difference for me. Prior to going to Sharon I had no feelings of milk letdown and did not feel my breasts filling regularly. If youre looking for an acupuncturist who is incredibly knowledgeable, a great listener, and totally just gets it, dont hesitate to book here!!! I scheduled a visit with Sharon at Five Seasons Healing after a sudden and severe bout of heartburn that lasted for weeks, and had such a wonderful and affirming experience. Unlike the gastro doctor I saw before her who spoke with me for five minutes and immediately gave me a one-size-fits-all prescription for Omeprazole, Sharon spent an hour asking questions and really forming a holistic understanding of my health history. Through a combination of acupuncture and a licorice supplement, she totally eliminated the heartburn and I didnt have to take the prescription antacid. I have nothing but great things to say about this practice, and will absolutely be coming back if other health issues arise in the future.

I just completed three magical sessions with Sharon. She is a true healer - her touch and attention alone seem to have restorative powers. The way Chinese medicine asks insightful holistic questions manages to get to the bottom of complaints - even the confusing world of hormones, fatigue, and vague malaise. In September I was in a car accident that left me with herniated disks from C5-C7 to T5-T6 as well as a serious concussion and TBI. Although I was referred to Sharon from an Osteo Cranial Therapist , I had planned on going to Sharon in Jan for 2022 for Treatments to assist in my ivf & pregnancy. However a car accident brought me to them earlier than expected. I was scared to speak and it hurt my brain to vocalize… and with my concussion I began to stutter, I had Bell’s palsy on the left side of my face, tingling, migraines, severe pain, light sensitivity, forgetting words, staring blankly into space and it was hard to keep my brain on task for longer than a few mins. All because of the car accident. I am an herbalist in training so along with my herbal treatments and Sharon’s I am further along than they thought I would be 7 months later. It was indicated my injuries would take at least a year to heal. The power of acupuncture is the Ebb and flow of Chi (energy ) within and without. Movement brings about healing. Just 1 of the amazing aspects of acupuncture after she has inserted the needles is feeling the chi being pushed through your body. Sometimes if I have very blocked channels of energy my body will gently jolt to release the stagnation. I ALWAYS come away feeling more at one with myself, lighter, pain reduced or gone etc. My herniated disks are a ton better, the tingling numbness and neuropathy are so improved I forgot how bad it was 7 months ago.. Sharon had to remind me.The other aspect of my healing are the gentle hands and energy of Jessica. Her calming voice and soft touch communicates safety and care… I see them as a tandem unit. They work separate yet together approaching your bodies healing in a 360 fashion so the relief or assistance you desire is tackled by them both.I was seeing them 2 times a week for a while now it’s down to 1 time a week. It is not only worth the money and time, my body mind and spirit thank me for It. I’ll be continuing with Sharon Yeung & Jessica Parks for the duration of my treatments and beyond.Literally I had no idea Acupuncture was this powerful… however I do realize you must go to EXPERIENCED PATIENT practitioners like with vast knowledge like Sharon & Jessica … it’s not an easy feet to map all the points on a body and hit it right on the nose with grace and confidence … however they do! Ive been seeing Sharon for relief of my PMS for the past couple of months and the experience and result have been amazing. Ive seen a few other acupuncturists in the city and the treatment just has not been as effective. PMS is very tricky and if you dont want to just take birth control, you should give acupuncture a shot.

Five Seasons is such a special little place. Sharon and Susan have been giving my husband and I acupuncure twice a week for many months now and we can both honestly say we’ve never felt this good before! Both of us look better and feel vibrant, we sleep well, my anxiety is completely gone, digestion has totally improved, his stress levels are balanced-I could literally go on and on with positives. These women are truly brilliant healers. They understand the body so well and they both really take their time to zoom into you personally and find the best way to treat you. I have been going to Sharon for acupuncture since 2006. She has seen me through a number of issues that western medicine was not able to address or completely solve. Having grown up in a tropical climate, New York winters wreak havoc on me, but Sharon helped me go from getting a cold around 6 times a year to 1 or fewer. Since then, I have seen her for other issues from respiratory issues to fatigue to musculoskeletal issues to a bout of shingles, and there has been nothing that she hasnt been able help me with. I highly recommend her!

After a rave recommendation from a close friend, I went to see Sharon Yeung at Five Seasons Healing Acupuncture eight months ago, to work on my injured knees, as well as my erratic womens cycle, arthritic and digestive issues. With regular treatment, in less than a year, I can now run - even uphill! - with my dog, where as before I could not walk without real pain. My menstrual cycle has evened out, my arthritis has decreased drastically - at least by 90%- and Ive lost eight pounds. Sharon Yeung is a world class healer in the truest sense. I and my children have repeatedly been accurately diagnosed by her over the past 6 years on a range of major and minor issues including heart problems, easing muscle pains, elbow tendonitis, the rapid healing of broken bones, eye watering, significantly reducing the number of days of flu and so many more.The most significant and physically and emotionally challenging for me was my heart issue. My cardiologist told me that my accelerated heart beat and frequent palpitations, due to atrial fibrillation were something I would either have to live with; while it affected many areas of my life or ease through surgery; an option filled with potential negative consequences and that’s when it worked correctly. As an active woman in my 40s with 3 children, neither option sat well with me. When I asked for a non invasive option, he offered medication, also with potential adverse effects.I raised this issue to Sharon, not really imagining that she would be able to help with something so significant and within a half hour of asking and answering lifestyle and health related questions I thought had little bearing to the issue, Sharon suggested a treatment and within weeks of following her treatment, the palpitations significantly declined. I am incredibly thankful and impressed by her overall breadth and depth of knowledge, aptitude, professionalism and expertise. She puts conventional medicine to shame on a range of issues and I would highly recommend exploring treatment with her first.

I had a horrible experience being induced (for the simple reason that bébé was one week overdue) with my first child. With my second, my doctor agreed to give me two weeks post-due-date. At 8 days overdue I was getting nervous. I made an acupuncture appointment with Sharon and, voilà—the baby came naturally two days later. With my third I was at 10 days overdue, and Susan was able to see me on such short notice. Just two days later the baby came naturally, again! Thank you Sharon & Susan!!

I was recommended to go and see Sharon from good friend of mine who I trust because I had a difficult time to release my stress level from everyday life here in New York. I strongly recommend Five Seasons Healing. I have been treated successfully here for a few different issues. The practitioners are highly skilled and kind, and the facility is clean and well maintained. My most recent issue was not being resolved with prescriptions, but with acupuncture and TCM was improved within the first 2 treatments and by visit 4 was cleared up.

Such a lovely office. I really did enjoy my experience with everyone I encountered.I do suggest going to this place. It is really clean, and everyone is super detailed and how they help you. While I wasn’t able to go more than three visits due to the increased prices, otherwise I would’ve maintained going.My #1 feedback to the office pertains to conducting private conversations behind closed doors.I found it really uncomfortable that I could hear the prognosis for another patient. The entire conversation was happening in the open while I was down the hall. I heard every single word. The same thing was done to me, I didn’t realize how everyone could hear until I was in the position in the waiting room. Really uncomfortable.My feedback is to maintain privacy and sensitivity for your clients.This feels like a minor thing to adjust given that the overall experience brought me back multiple times.Overall, thank you for great sessions.

Five season has been a blessing in my life, specially Alison Unterreiner, MSTOM, L.Ac She has been my go to acupuncturist. She helped me to get pregnant 2 times, the first time unfortunately was a miscarriage, but she helped me getting through those difficult times and giving hope that I could get pregnant again. Not only shes very professional and had a lot of knowledge. And few months later on my thrid pregnancy shes very focus on helping me getting through and complete my full term pregnancy. I will highly recommend Five Season to any woman that has issues getting pregnant and need a natural push.

Overall decent acupuncture (not many pins) however billing is not straightforward. Ask many questions up front so you do not get added bills afterwards. Not a stressfree experience.
