Kindbody - Bryant Park

I cannot recommend Kindbody enough. I went to Tia because it was close to home but I felt extremely overlooked and gaslit about my own fertility. The staff at Kindbody took time to listen to my concerns and ran all necessary tests to help me figure out why I wasn’t getting pregnant. I am now past the egg retrieval stage and am very impressed with their service and communications through this very sensitive experience.

Facilities are nice, nurses/doctors seem great during appointments, but coordinating care is so painful. No one talks to each other, Ive often gotten conflicting advice, and definitely partial answers or confusing advice. They take many days to respond to simple emails, if they respond at all. I often have to follow up with them to remind them they owe me a response.

I honestly love this clinic at first the communication wasnt that good but it got better , doctor lunpkin is the bestt she is so nice and sweet . & lets not forget about cara and lisset & the other hispanic nurses one of them is pregnant right now i forgot her name but she is awesome the other one is skinny like caramel color with glasses no tattoos shes great too she always find my veins lol . I already did my egg retrieval which was very cool all the nurse were very nice to me i felt happy because the attention was great im just praying now for my baby to stick when they put it back on me . I have had such a great experience at Kindbody. Everyone I’ve encountered has been so kind, knowledgeable and empathetic. After seeing multiple doctors, Kindbody was the first team who validated my concerns and created a plan to better understand root causes and build a pathway that worked for me. I so appreciate this team and their approach to women’s healthcare!

I tried calling to cancel my appointment and was unable to reach anyone. My benefits say I would have 24/7 support but no email or phone call would reach anyone. Someone finally reached out via portal but it was more than a day when I made first attempt to contact.

Kindbody is a great clinic that is willing to help and provide specialized care every step of the way. They are open to answer any questions you may have. Everyone that works there is so nice, patient and kind. Thank you to the great team for making my journey a pleasant one!

I’ve been a Kindbody patient for 3 years and feel they have supported my fertility journey with high-caliber medical care and also genuine caring. I understand the mixed reviews as I’ve also encountered some administrative hiccups, but the overwhelmingly positive experience with the doctors, nurses and medical staff far outweighed those instances and the team at KB has always been supportive of me. I would definitely recommend them, so when I saw the google ratings I felt compelled to weigh in with my experience. Also, Dr. Browne is AMAZING!

Im so happy that I chose KindBody.From the time you enter the office, the atmosphere feels warm and inviting. I was greeted by a beautiful smile and a welcoming energy at the front desk by Ash. I had a lot of anxiety about beginning this process and that helped me feel a bit more at ease from the start.

Honestly awful. You walk in and it’s hard to tell if you’re actually at reception because no one says anything to you; the 2-3 receptionists just sit there chatting and then act like you’re impeding on their chat time by saying you’re there for an appointment. Appointment ends up being completely different to what’s advertised (you don’t actually get to speak with a fertility doctor). The beside manner of the ultrasound tech is honestly the worst I’ve ever seen in any healthcare establishment I’ve been in around the world. No “hello, my name is ___, I’ll be conducting your ultrasound” just “sit down there and get undressed”. She acted like I had two heads when I asked a single question, gave me daggers. I’m so glad I was there so my wife didn’t have to experience this alone. Just awful, this place seems to care more about appearing like a trendy establishment than the actual care they provide for their patients. Will never return and never recommend. Absolute disgrace.

I am forever grateful to the nurses and doctors at Kindbody. They were super helpful, kind, and professional throughout my entire IVF process and thanks to their help I have my miracle baby. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a fertility specialist!

Disorganized, provided the wrong instructions, no ability to talk to a real doctor except at the very beginning and end of each cycle.I did an egg freezing cycle with them last year, and there was basically no provider support during the cycle. Nurses were unable to answer the most basic of questions during regular morning ultrasounds. Instructions get updated in your online portal in the afternoon, but I received directions stating the wrong dose of medication to take twice.My results were poor as a result of their mismanagement, and instead of an apology or partial refund, all I got was a 15% coupon for another round of egg freezing.I’m at spring fertility now and it could not be more different — it’s night and day in terms of the level of physician professionalism and knowledge. Do yourself a favor and avoid Kindbody.

My experience at Kindbody Fertility has been incredibly disappointing. Over the course of 33 appointments since 2022, I encountered numerous issues that severely impacted my fertility treatment.Scheduling appointments was a nightmare due to the staffs unavailability over the phone. This lack of communication led to critical mistakes in medication instructions and doctors being ill-prepared during crucial visits. In fact, an entire IUI cycle was canceled because a medical issue was overlooked until I pointed it out.Virtual visits werent any better, with doctors frequently arriving late, causing unnecessary disruptions. The last-minute notification of a mandatory therapist visit only added to the chaos, with poor connectivity ruining the session.The lack of responsiveness to urgent matters was alarming. When I needed additional medication, the delayed response led to a missed cycle because the office was closed on a crucial day. To top it off, surprise bills ranging from $250 to $600 for tissue transport related to sperm delivery were unjustified and unexplained.Dr. Brownes insensitive and dismissive attitude towards LGBTQ+ individuals was appalling. As a lesbian woman using donor sperm, their disregard for my circumstances and the inappropriate comment made during a crucial discussion highlighted the clinics lack of inclusivity and understanding.Given these persistent issues, including the recent incident of being unable to proceed with an IUI due to the clinics closure on a critical day, Ive decided to seek a new provider for my fertility treatment. Until these issues are addressed and resolved, I cannot recommend Kindbody Fertility to anyone seeking compassionate and competent care.This establishment needs a serious overhaul in terms of communication, sensitivity, and overall patient care.

Be careful with weekend appointments. No doorman at the building and as always you cant reach anyone at any of the kindbody locations on the phone. If you are lucky, someone gets out of the building so that the building door is open and you get in after waiting 15 mins outside in the cold.

My experience at The Bryant Park location was very different from my first experience at the Flatiron location. There was poor communication amongst the clinic team. My husband and I had to keep repeating our history and reason for the visit multiple times to different team members. When I first walked in I was advised that we were scheduled for two visits at two different locations. They made it work regardless but not something we wanted to walk in to at 8am. It seems as though they try to upsell you with extra testing and fertility options which we appreciate the knowledge but not something that we’re interested in. The billing wasn’t super transparent either). After making sure we were all set before leaving the office we received multiple calls to bill us for the visit. The team didn’t seem very organized making us not trust this office. If this is how they are with our records (not being able to locate test results we already did at Kindbody a month ago) then what’s to say they wouldn’t mess up our medical treatments? Stay away, going back to my last OBGYN that I trust not worth risking possible mistakes with this practice.

This actually deserves no stars the way youve been taking our money and providing no services.Opening new clinics and still having their other clinics not giving the services we deserve not only they are anti-LGBTQIA+ To their female patients they also dont care about women this is frustrating And if you call no one answers and if they do they say they will get the person we trying to reach will call us back and this has been going on for a year. Ive not been the only one thats had this problem and if you ask for your refund because all they do is take money and dont provide services do you think we are rich people we just want to start a family is that so hard????They are so bad the worst they never answer your calls they never call back they are always on you for the money but not the care.We have been trying to move to a new clinic and even doing the transfer process they have no care in the world and keep charging us for storage.I dont recommend this place.

Everything about my experience was TOP notch. From the beginning of my journey to the end, the staff was attentive, kind, helpful and understanding. I actually enjoyed coming in because the girls were so kind and fun.(shoutout Rach!)The app was easy to use and the on call nurses got back to me right away if I had questions. Would recommend this place to anyone.

*FALSE ADVERTISEMENT*Did a virtual consultation last December as their direct mail ad dropped in our mailboxes finally convinced me to act on it. The ad clearly stated that the consultation fee is waived as it came with a code. After all, this was the key incentive.The consultation itself was comprehensive which was good that I didn’t even explore other options so far. Until the fees came and while it’s very manageable as my insurance covered majority of the $400 virtual fee, this should have never been charged in the first place. I inquired several times via their app but still no answer. From my initial interest in going forward, this just affected my trust on KB. It’s a business, I understand but healthcare needs to be handled more with finesse. It’s not about the cost, it’s the disconnect between teams that ultimately resulted in what seems to be false advertisement.

I initially chose Kindbody for egg freezing over another place originally because of their great marketing. However the overall experience has been very disappointing. When my test results came back, instead of talking to a real doctor, I was contacted by a nurse practitioner. I wasn’t satisfied by the nurse’s responses so they eventually had a doctor calling me a week later. Then the doctor said things that conflicted with the nurse. I don’t think I will stay at Kindbody for the process.

Its hard to put into words how great my experience here has been but Ill try. I waited until after my second visit to write a review to make sure the first time was not a fluke. I have been in twice now, once for a GYN appointment and once for a fertility assessment. From the minute you are walking down the hallway to the door you know youre somewhere special. Every single person I spoke with from the moment I entered was genuinely kind and invested in me without being invasive. The front desk is always sweet, and they have COVID protocols set in place. The decor is calming and empowering. The person who took my labs was not only kind but very skilled. Im afraid of needles yet barely felt a thing when she stuck me. Quick and efficient. Most importantly, Emory Shipp, the provider that I have seen both times, is amazing. She is a nurse practitioner and is many things including the following: gentle, kind, attentive, respectful, trauma-informed, culturally competent, non-invasive, and thorough. Kindbody Bryant Park is dare I say wonderful. Awesome. If I could have experienced all my GYN appointments of the past 5 years with them, I would have been saved a lot of pain and trauma. I feel comfortable and safe going there and would even go as far as to say if I decide to move before I have children, I will likely still make my way back for appointments to see them for fertility assistance. Theyre that good. Instagram-popular or not, theyre worth it.

Thank to the Bryant Park and Flatiron clinic I am able to hold my baby Salvatore in my arms! The kindness they showed through our whole journey proves to me why they have the name they have!

I gave birth to a beautiful healthy boy in August 2022, thanks to the help and support of the Kindbody team. Communication was efficient and organized via the patient portal. Everyone I encountered was personable and helpful. I am beyond grateful. Thank you Kindbody!

This has to be the least professional or held accountable business, let alone a DOCTORS OFFICE. Charts arent read, conflicting information is given depending on who you speak with and no one responds to calls. If I EVER gave service like this I would be out of my industry in a matter of days.

I couldnt recommend KindBody more. I had the most incredible experience and loved the staff, nurses and care I received, not to mention the results which I was thrilled about.

Doctor was 45mn late to an appointment because her meeting ran late. Didn’t bother coming in or checking in on me and left me unattended and undressed in a waiting room for that long.Completely unprofessional. Go to a clinic that actually cares about their patients.

The staff in the facility is very helpful and friendly. However, the team that handles the scheduling over the phone is absolutely unreliable. If they say that they will call you back before the close of business, DON’T HOLD YOUR BREATH. So many promises to return phone calls, no phone calls are ever returned. I had high hopes for d dealing with Kindbody as they say all the right things on their website but those values are not reflected in how they run their business.

The only star I can give to this place is for the office design. When I came to the office, 2 girls on the reception were eating pizza and talking on video chat. It was obvious that I disturbed them. I asked couple of questions, they offered me to check the brochures for the answers. I needed someone to explain me in general the process of eggs freezing and break down the cost. Honestly, Ive never met less knowledgeable employees. I asked what the abbreviation in the brochure meant and the answer was Ohh you really testing me out , girl. When you selling 15k product at least make some effort to educate your stuff. They are the face and first impression of the business.

I like my doctor, she always answers all my questions fully and in a way that I can make informed decisions about my fertility plan.

I went to both the Bryant Park and Princeton locations. The team at both are amazing. I highly recommend Kindbody they helped us start our family.

I had an amazing experience with the care team at KB Bryant Park! Much smaller and more intimate of the two NYC locations which was really comforting for me. I actually miss traveling into midtown from South Brooklyn at 7am every other day during a week of snow storms which says A LOT!

Everyone in the office is so friendly. The clinical staff and front desk were all great. I appreciated everyones upbeat attitudes

Kindbody’s customer relationship only cares till the time you pay them the fees. I have been trying to get hold of the accounts department to get the receipt for my reimbursement but no one ever responds.

The staff is so friendly and welcoming from start to finish! Can’t recommend Kindbody enough.
