Fantastic prenatal massage. My provider, Adrianne Ansley, was exceptional. Left feeling so refreshed and with less aches/pain. Highly recommend.

I have been coming here for fertility acupuncture. I was a little turned off at first by how expensive it is. At $140 a session x 4 sessions a month, it really adds up. My practitioner in Chinatown was much cheaper (he was incredible but retired). What is worth the expense is the level of care you receive from the practitioners at Yinova Center. They explain a lot about what they are doing and understand fertility. I have a lot of questions about fertility and feel super supported in my journey. Marian has been especially great. She is very knowledgeable, so attentive and nurturing. I get a little freaked out by the needles and she takes care to ease my anxiety. She is kind. I hope to continue this as long as it fits my budget. I highly recommend this place.

The Yinova Center is an incredible place! They helped me with my entire fertility journey (before, during and after) and I am so grateful for their expertise and compassion. This is definitely the place to go because everyone I worked with was amazing!!

During my recent visit to Yinovas Brooklyn Heights location, I received a warm greeting from the reception and a relaxing Acupuncture session with Karen, who first checked in with me with a health questionnaire before the session and received a follow-up email with resources. The reception area was serene, and I enjoyed complimentary herbal tea there. I was having a very stressful day, and the calming and positive environment at Yinova improved my state of being. I plan to try massage services soon. If you want a space for health and wellness, I highly recommend Yinova!

I highly recommend booking with Anne at Yinovas Flatiron location. Shes absolutely brilliant, incredibly compassionate, and kind. Ive been lucky enough to be one of her clients for the past few years. Anne has helped me with my digestion issues, menstrual difficulties, my pregnancy journey, labor prep, and I will definitely continue seeing her following my childbirth to address any postnatal symptoms. I also love her customized herbal formula prescriptions, and I gained so much knowledge from joining her fertility support group. She is a true healer! I had an acupuncture treatment with Carly Sorensen, and she was super!She started by doing a thorough review of my health issues, I have many, and explained what she thought would be the best approach to the treatment.Carly was so gentle with the needles that I hardly felt anything.The space is so nice, and calming, that I really relaxed as I waited for the needles to do their work.Camila, at the reception was very warm and welcoming as well.I am looking forward to my next treatment to get some of my chronic health issues treated and my organ function strengthened.Thank you!!!

Everyone is kind. At first, I was nervous about trying acupuncture but the environment is clean and comforting. I enjoy and look forward to my sessions. It has helped with my inflammation and stress. I hope it will help with me trying to get pregnant. Will continue to go for now.

I’m in love with The Yinova Center! The doormen are helpful in navigating the building to the clinic. I was visiting as a surrogate before my transfer and after. I was instantly greeted with calming energy & a cup of hot tea made for me. My initial consultation and first appointment was with Patricia. We had a wonderful chat and she went above and beyond to send me information & resources on leading a well balanced life & diet. My follow up appointment was with Meredith and it was just as wonderful to work with. Their techniques worked well for exactly what I needed.

Yinova really helped me not only achieve a super successful egg retrieval, but to feel good mentally as well as physically during my cycle. I found that beyond the acupuncture, I truly felt like Daryl as well as others at the practice provided me a support system that I really I needed in conjunction with the fertility doctor, and offered more emotional support and peace of mind than my doctor generally had time for. They were not just support system, but honestly the cheerleaders I needed to stay upbeat during such a tough process! Thank you!

The place is spacious, clean and the energy is great. I went there because of vertigo and thankfully Donna had an opening that day. She was professional, knowledgeable and sensitive to my needs. Most of the vertigo went away with that one treatment. I have continued to see her for other issues. I am happy to have found Donna and Yinova. When Donna was out of town I saw Carly and Ana, both were wonderful. I highly recommend Yinova in my neighborhood of Brooklyn Heights.

This is definitely a godsend care facility and experience. The front desk staff is kind, friendly, and efficient. I come in for physical and mental health support through acupuncture. I saw Katy Hogan at Yinova for a full year; this treatment spanned across my full fertility journey including TTC and pregnancy up until 39 weeks (when I delivered). She was a fantastic resource for me on the holistic health side of things in addition to the traditional specialists I was seeing (endocrinologist and OB/GYN). I found her extremely helpful, knowledgeable and encouraging. We started with an hour-long consultation ahead of my first session, in which we discussed my personal medical history and goals. From there on out, all of treatment was customized and geared towards where I was in my journey. She also recommended some herbal supplements and specific prenatal vitamins. Later in my pregnancy, I saw a few massage therapists at Yinova, who were wonderful for helping to manage 3rd trimester symptoms. My beautiful son (first baby) was born last week, and I am thankful for the part Yinova played in getting both of us to this point. Overall, I highly recommend their services and would certainly come back for my next pregnancy!

I decided to go to Yinova to try an alternative treatment for a few different health complaints including insomnia and just a feeling of a general imbalanced mood. I started seeing a psychiatrist that has been great but I really felt like I wanted more. I cant give enough praise to Yinova and to Alli who has been performing acupuncture treatments and consulting me on herbal tinctures. Everyone at Yinova, from reception to treatment room, make the experience an appreciated and valuable one. My experience working with Alli Kimmel has been great. After my first appointment I felt like I was truly heard and cared for and I think this kind of compassion in wellness can go an extremely long way in benefiting health. She has continued to take the time to listen and ask questions at each appointment and gives helpful suggestions and insight. The treatments are relaxing and somewhat meditative and I leave each appointment feeling reset. Ive had a noticeable improvement in my sleep and mood since Ive started coming to Yinova, honestly more than I hoped for or expected was possible. Acupuncture appointments are now part of my routine. I have recommended it to so many people and suggest if youre interested and unsure where to start, try Yinova.

I had an acupuncture session with Carly at the Brooklyn Heights location and let’s just say I bought six more when I checked out. Lovely waiting room. Calming treatment room with thoughtful lighting. Meaningful consultation and the treatment itself was exactly what I needed and have been needing for a very long time. I look forward to this being a habit in my self care routine.

I love Yinova. Everyone is so kind and helpful and you get quality treatment no matter who you see! I’ve been working with Sonia for years but recently I wanted to branch out into electro pulse therapy which has helped my chronic neck issues so much. Yinova is very important to me. The acupuncture treatment I initially went for has been a game changer and now I try to go every Saturday. In my time there, Ive found a safe haven from the chaos that has overwhelmed so many since the start of the pandemic. My time there each Saturday offers me a moment to breathe and unwind. Daryl Thuroff is fantastic and we are now exploring the benefits Chinese medicine can have to my overall health. Traditional medicine has failed me over the years, and in the hands of this incredible team, I feel hopeful again about my future health.

I have been going to Jill for 12 years for a variety of health issues and she is not only a genius with acupuncture and Chinese medicine but also a wonderful person. My health has improved dramatically and I feel that Im working more towards preventative maintenance rather than crisis intervention. Yinova has become a staple in my wellness care. I mostly come for acupuncture with a sprinkling of nutritional/herbal guidance. All of the their acupuncturists are super knowledgable, but my go-tos are Carly and Su! Their office is also beautiful, it engenders calm and tranquility. Haven’t tried bodywork yet, think I will in 2023 to see how the addition impacts me.

The practitioner I saw in the Flatiron district was amazing. She was confident and it was reassuring being 40 weeks pregnant. My due date was on a Thursday and I was passed due. I had 2 membrane sweeps already and was doing all the possible tricks and my little girl wasn’t budging. It was a Saturday and I couldn’t take being pregnant any longer. I called that day and booked an appointment for Sunday afternoon. Aside from the treatment being relaxing (I think I fell asleep) it was effective…the practitioner told me I would meet my baby in 24 hours and that night I went into labor and had my baby girl in my arms by 5 pm Monday. She was off by 2 hrs! It was amazing, highly recommend. Lenox hill hospital staff was surprised at how quick and smooth my labor progressed for a first time mom.

I have been a patient at the YinOva Center for almost a decade, and every visit is a fantastic experience. Noah Rubinstein has worked miracles on my back and immune system, and Jill Blakeway has done the same for my menstrual and hormonal health. When Jill and Noah are away and I work with someone else on their team, I always have a very positive experience. I was raised by a holistic physician and have been exposed to the best and brightest in health and wellness throughout my life. Noah and Jill are two of the most knowledgeable and effective healers I have ever known, not to mention they both have a great sense of humor and are warm and compassionate. They have assembled an equally skilled team of acupuncturists, massage therapists, etc. Finally, the front desk staff at the Center is lovely, the space is beautiful, and the whole place feels like home to me. Ive been to YinOva many times over the years and its always a great experience. The staff is always friendly and responsive, and my acupuncture therapist Klara is incredibly talented. At the beginning of the appointment Klara consults with me to understand whats been going on with my body so that she can figure out the best strategy for needling me. Klara knows the human body well and has helped ease my pain from various injuries over the years. I would definitely recommend this place (and Klara!) to any friends or family who have been struggling with issues like sports injuries or anxiety/sleep issues.

The Yinova Center, and Noah in particular, have been my rock, foundation of getting through cancer diagnosis, treatment and recovery. The personal, custom approach is second to none. I have been going to the Yin Ova center now for 8 years. The level of care and individualized care from all the practitioners led by Jill Blakeway is both seamless and outstanding on every level. In working as a cohesive team they have brought me through a major illness and now with their help I am in the best health I have ever been in my life. Their depth of knowledge and access to all types of treatment under one umbrella allows them to create an extremely comprehensive health plan for each patient. They even made a house call when I was unable to leave my home!!!! They truly go above and beyond making you feel that your health and well being is an absolute priority for them.

She is renowned for her dedication and work on womens health issues.The facility is lovely. The waiting room in the back is like an oasis, but dont expect to be there long, as I have never waited more than 5 minutes for my appointment...never enough time to finish my herbal tea. It is the kind of place where even the hand soap smells nice.Jill doesnt do initial consultations, so I booked with someone else. I recommend looking through the online profiles of the practitioners and choose someone who you relate to. It is a very detailed first assessment; they ask you all kinds of questions, and take notes on iPads.I could not be happier with my treatments. Every issue I have had has been resolved. I truly looked forward to my weekly appointments. I did a combination of acupuncture and Chinese herbs. I was skeptical at first of the herbs, but they actually seem to have helped.Most importantly, I feel like Yinova and Jill are really looking after me and cares about my ongoing health. This is not just due to how warm and attentive she can be during our sessions, but lots of other things as well. For example, immediately following Hurricane Sandy, when all my other appointments were cancelled, YinOva stayed open, even without power (they operated by candle light), so that they could treat the women who were on weekly schedules. I rollerbladed 60 blocks just to get there! Another time, I was having some separate problems and had to cancel two appointments in a row, and Jill personally contacted me to check if everything was ok. In this big city, knowing that someone is thinking of you and looking after you is rare and very special.I have already recommended YinOva to dozens of my friends, and I recommend it to you without reservation.*Update: I originally wrote this review around 2014. Since then, I feel like Yinova has only improved. I still try to visit around once a month, and Ive always walked out feeling much better than when I walked in.

This is my first acupuncture experience in the USA and I can say it is so far the best I have had! I was introduced to Yinova through a friend and I made my first consultation this past Friday. When I first walked in, I was immediately greeted by the front desk and he had me answer a short survey about my basic info and health on their iPad. It is very high-tech I should say.Then, Amanda saw me in one of the cozy rooms that looks like a spa room but is meant for acupuncture. She asked me a lot of detailed healthy questions and my lifestyle and what my main concerns and reasons why I was there. She was very gentle and attentive to my needs.Based on my condition, she was using gentle treatment with me and I lied for 30 minutes in the comfy bed and relaxed. She came back with a typed out recommendations for my conditions and concerns. I was really impressed! The treatment price already takes care of everything (tip) so I was pretty happy.This is a pretty high end facility so dont expect to pay Chinatown price. You will get really attentive service, treatment and you will feel really taken care of. My shoulder pain from my desk job immediately disappeared after one session! I was so impressed!Will definitely return for my sessions for my health!

Ive been going to Yinova for over a year and love it. I started acupuncture after a tough ACL knee surgery and it was key to getting me back on my feet. The place it lovely and calming, and the practitioners are great!

I have been going to YinOva for at least the last 3 years. They run a wonderful practice with very talented and caring practitioners. I initially went to them to help with female issues and they were able to bring me to a place through acupuncture, herbs and massage that helped stabilize my issues. I am now going to them for issues with migraines and ear ringing working specifically with Noah and Daryll who have been amazing and are supporting me as I get to a better place. I highly recommend going to Yinova!!!

I have been a loyal customer of the YinOva center for about a year now. I cant say enough about the fantastic staff and the treatments.The Center is clean, everyone is compassionate and caring. I have never waited or felt rushed. I suffer with severe chronic migraines and it was a real blessing for me to discover the YinOva center in Manhattan. The practitioners are very skilled, the personal kind and welcoming and the atmosphere is relaxing and charming. I mostly saw a therapist called Daryl, who had a very good and deep understand of my energetic, neurological, muscular and vascular body. Seeing her would help me each and every time. And whenever I had.the opportunity to get a session during an upcoming crisis, this really would allow my pain to stop increasing and even to calm down, helping me to detox from triptans and traditional medication for a long while.

Our experience @ the Yinova center was amazing from the first moment we walked into the center. As Jill Blakeway’s patient I have never felt more cared for in any other professional establishment. Jill was present and listened to my concerns from the first minute and was always there for us in any stage of our process. After five years of infertility treatments, Jill helped us get pregnant with the use of her amazing acupuncture and Chinese herbs, and was there for us at all times.Until this very day, the Yinova center is for me the most amazing place with the most professional team in New York City. I owe a huge thank you to Katy Hogan at the YinOva Center for helping me to conceive the handsome baby boy that I am holding in my arms right now. Years of hormonal birth control use had destroyed the natural balance in my body and my cycle was non-existent. I came to Katy hoping that she would be able to restore my cycle in hopes of eventually getting pregnant. My first appointment was 8/30/17 and by mid-September I was pregnant. Her skill in acupuncture and knowing exactly which herbs I needed helped to prepare my body, and my husband and I conceived our son naturally on my first cycle since coming off birth control. I continued to see Katy through my first trimester for nausea and to promote a healthy pregnancy. I went to see her again at 37 weeks to begin to prepare for delivery. I spontaneously delivered a healthy 9lb 4oz baby boy the day after my due date, without complication. Thank you Katy and the YinOva Center for helping me become a Mom!

Jill Blakeway at Yinova is fantastic. I went to her in a crisis, with an assortment of seemingly unrelated symptoms that had me and my physicians perplexed. She diagnosed and treated me over the course of 4-6 weeks. I cant thank her enough -- not only for her intuitive diagnosis and precise treatment, but for her warm approach. She put my mind at ease and has since helped me understand how to control the various triggers that might be the root cause. She brings personal experience and a wealth of knowledge. So grateful to have found her!

It was my first time trying acupuncture and Dr. Lilliane spent a lot of time going through all my symptoms with me and answering any questions I had. After my first session I already have seen some improvement and I am looking forward to going back.

I unfortunately had a different experience than most at Yinova Center, and not a positive one. I went in for acupuncture for a minor sports related injury on my back. The acupuncture didnt really help in alleviating my pain. Its a busy practice so I dont know if the acupuncture wasnt as effective as they claim or the treatment was rushed. It at times felt like they focused more on seeing as many people as possible than the patients. I cant really recommend...

You have to keep trying practitioners to find who works for you, but there are definitely some good ones. The reason I won’t be back is the billing: they have made MAJOR errors three times in the last six months, causing me to have to follow up. They always offer to correct their mistakes (after I follow up) but it’s an extra annoyance I don’t need. Three major mistakes in six months feels more like a systemic issue with business practices, not just an “off” day.

I have had the good fortune and pleasure to have Jill Blakeway as my acupuncturist for nearly 15 years. She is an extraordinary acupuncturist and healer. She guided me back to well-being when I was crippled by migraines and PTSD and gets me well whenever I need a course-correct. My life would not have blossomed without her care and generosity. She is also a terrifically funny person and the Yinova Center is exceptionally friendly and serene place -- all wonderfully healing qualities to find in NYC.

I get acupuncture for anxiety and from beginning to end its a wonderfully serene experience. The space is visually pleasing. The people at the front desk treat me like Im part of their family. And the electro stim brain acupuncture really works. Last time I was so relaxed I could have sworn I saw the flying toasters. You know, the screen saver from the early 90s. There they were, floating by, taking my anxiety with them...

I feel so blessed to have found Jill and the Yinova Center. Three years ago, after a diagnose of a high FSH (21) and 2 failed rounds of fertility treatments I decided to come to Yinova and do fertility acupuncture as well. Jill helped me navigate through my IVF decisions. She is so knowledgeable. She helped me realize my body was capable of doing more than I believed and was told. She also helped me understand my options and be more prepared for my conversation with my fertility doctor.. and after a couple of months of weekly sessions of acupuncture and my first round of IVF I became pregnant!! Then 3 years later and after 3 failed IVF cycles when looking for a second child I decided to make time in my busy days and see her again. She was as charming, supportive and warm as I remembered her. She again helped me make decisions through my IVF cycle (start with a new cycle when things were not progressing well) and I got pregnant again on my first IVF attempt after seeing her!! I had weekly sessions of acupuncture with Jill and Anne for a couple of months and twice a week when doing stims and right before and after the embryo transfer. This time my embryo quality was much higher than on my IVF attempts before seeing her, so I can only attribute this to Jill. Im forever grateful!!

After the birth of my second child i developed post natal depression. As i was nursing and have a seizure disorder I was unable to take conventional anti depressant medication. Jill Blakeway treated me with Chinese herbs and acupuncture and already after a couple of weeks i was able to notice a remarkable difference. The crippling anxiety was gone and I was able to cope. Jill is an amazing practitioner and although i knew of her expertise in the field of fertility I did not know the positive effect herbs and acupuncture could have on the treatment of post natal depression.

While I did generally like my acupuncturist and getting acupuncture, I am sad to report that though I mentioned multiple times that I have a history of restrictive eating and dont want any food rules or even suggestions, that was not respected. I suspect this is because the treatment is a one size fits all approach and thus they cant help but suggest food restrictions because its part of the standard protocol. So word of warning to anyone who might have food issues: this isnt the place for you.

I began seeing Mary at Yinova Center in October of last in the hopes of becoming pregnant naturally without the aid of fertility drugs. From our very first meeting, I knew I was in good hands. She is truly amazing. Before every session, she talks to me about how I am feeling both physically and mentally, and from day 1, she told me that our sessions would be a safe space for me to talk about the journey of becoming pregnant and that she was there to help me every step of the way. And she was. I felt that there was someone who understood and supported me every step of the way. When I first began going to her for fertility, I was having problems with urination, which were cured after 1 session! After a couple months, we became pregnant. I credit it to the acupuncture and the herbs which she prescribed. During my pregnancy, I had total insomnia which our work together cured. My pregnancy was a complicated one, and I had bleeding a couple times throughout, which resulted in miscarriage at 12 1/2 weeks. But after each bleeding scare, Mary was there for me, via email and phone, cheering me on, assuring me that she had seen many other women who had dealt with the same thing and have gone on to have healthy babies. After my miscarriage, she was unbelievably supportive in every way, helping me to see that this is a journey, and that I will heal. For several weeks following my miscarriage, the Yinova center and our sessions were my lifeline. Mary was there for me emotionally, with encouraging words and recommendations of great books to help me heal. 4 months after my miscarriage, I am not yet pregnant, and she has recommended an amazing Reproductive Endochrinologist for me to work with. My doctor was very pleased that I was working with Mary, and that I will be continuing acupuncture during IVF. My miscarriage was 4 months ago, and I am on a definite road to recovery and hopefully pregnancy soon. But I wouldnt be as far along as I am without our work together. I cant say enough amazing things about Mary!! If what you want is to become pregnant, and to be supported throughout the entire journey, no matter where it takes you, go to Mary!

The staff at YinOva is wonderful - very warm and welcoming. My only complaints are that after I have been going for over a year, it feels like my acupuncturist is not really invested in my difficult fertility journey anymore. The sessions are feeling rushed and almost dismissive. I dont know if that is because they are being instructed to fit as many people in as possible. Or maybe its burn out. The other little complaint (sorry) is that there is a lot of slamming of doors and stomping around - where you literally feel your body shaking from the vibration. It really sucks when you are falling into a blissful nap during the acupuncture and every two minutes you are jarred back because of the doors being slammed around you. Maybe the structure is not very sound proof. Regardless, if I continue, I may just ask for another acupuncturist.

I had a great massage with Brianna, it was the best massage. I left there really relaxed. The girls over the phone and at the front desk were attentive and helpful.

My recovery periods are less than half what they used to be. Plus when I got pregnant, which happened in the blink of an eye, I had a pretty easy pregnancy minus some 1 st trimester morning sickness, but if I hadn’t been going to the Yinova Center I would have probably been a complete mess during the pregnancy or have never been pregnant in the first place.Jill and her staff are genuinely caring, warm and trustworthy. Ive been coming to YinOva for about a year now, and I seriously cant recommend them enough! Noah Rubinstein especially is such a great practitioner. I had spent years trying everything under the sun to help with my insomnia (medication, noise machines, etc...) and after only a few weeks of seeing Noah I have been sleeping better than I ever have in my life!!!!!!

I had a slipped disc in my neck that was causing alot of pain in my back and down my arm. I was unable to sleep, etc. I came in and saw Laurel Axen Carroll. After 1 session my pain was reduced by at least 50%. 2 more sessions and I was virtually pain free. She really took the time to listen to what was wrong with me. I really felt like she cared and put alot of effort into my wellness. I really owe it to Laurel for giving me back my life again.
