Ying Acupuncture Center

My whole family has been seeing Dr Ying for over 3 years now, and she and her team are like family now! She offers her expertise in Western and Traditional Chinese medicine combined with compassion and care for her patients. Dr Ying is very thorough in assessing my needs every time, following up regularly to make sure the treatment is working. Scheduling via text is easy and convenient, and her assistants are always very friendly and helpful.

Please keep in mind that I do not like speaking negatively about small businesses, but I do want to help other prospective clients as I found it difficult to find any information on this practice. Against the advice of my friends who went to a higher end acupuncture center, I decided to find one my insurance listed as in-network. It turns out my out of pocket cost for Ying Acupuncture Center was not much less than what I would have paid for the higher end center. While this is not totally the fault of the office (my insurance quote was misleading and quite frankly, wrong), they were not totally transparent on what they charged up front, and I had to bug them several times to get the information out. I was also pressured to make more appointments while we wait and see what insurance covers. I agreed to only one more session in order to give them a fair chance but it just wasnt for me. The idea of acupuncture is already daunting, and there was nothing calming or luxurious about this experience. This is Manhattan and it’s noisy. You’d think they would put effort into soundproofing but I could hear all the construction outside. The initial consultation felt thorough enough, but I did not see anything special about this practice that would warrant a revisit.

I have been to multiple acupuncture places and this is one of my favorite offices. They are super flexible, listen to your needs and explain the different treatments. Its is very easy to book an appointment and they are very timely. The appointments are catered to your needs whether its short term or long term. Everyone that works here is also very caring and nice. Definitely recommend this place. :)

Both doctors at Ying Accupuncture are SO incredible! I am truly so lucky to have found this place as they do such a lovely job. They take time to understand your concerns and are very receptive in offering natural treatments and solutions. I have noticed a significant change in my body since starting and feel much more calm overall. I cannot recommend this place enough, and I am really so happy to have found Ying Accupuncture!

I’ve been to a few acupuncture places and find Dr. Ying to be the most effective! The office staff is also friendly and flexible when needing to reschedule. Have recommended this practice to others!

Rude to staff and always seem to be in a rush. i felt bad for the receptionist considering they don’t look that old but that’s unacceptable as a business owner. Wouldn’t go back!

Don’t go here. Doctor was so rude to receptionist. If you’re that rude to your staff, there’s no way you would treat your patients with care. Did not want doctor sticking me anywhere with needles after seeing how she treats staff and I left.
