I had a great first visit with Dr. Greunspan. It’s been difficult to find a good endocrinologist, especially since most providers are in a rush to prescribe without understanding the patients full history. I was relieved to hear that the doctor wanted to first view my labs before prescribing specific meds. there was no wait time when I arrived even though I arrived a bit later for my appointment, the staff was friendly and the medical assistant was very patient with me helping to draw my blood. I’m looking forward to a great working relationship with Dr. Greunspan and highly recommend his practice.

The medical assistants are very pleasant! I always have nice conversations with them. Dr. Gruenspan is very kind. I appreciate how thorough he is given I have a very hard diagnosis at the moment. He listens very well. Very grateful to have found this office.

I appreciated their flexibility by working with me and the doctor still seen me even though I came in late for my appt …. But most of all, their phlebotomist Joy was THE BEST!!! I have never had any one taken my blood without any pinch sting or any pain at all… didn’t feel a thing! She was amazing! She needs to teach others how to do it her way cause she was truly amazing!!!!!!!

As an MD but having been a patient here, I am highly concerned by this office/operations/ethics and the central organization of the clinics due to multiple points of observation and a clinical incident that has ignored rather than investigated and addressed. (PS - despite their response below almost 4 weeks later my concerns have been ignored by all all of the Doctor, Medical Director, Operations Director and Clinic Owner by phone and email raising further concern. I would encourage patients to read the response below to make their own opinion as to how the clinic respects its individual patients - which includes inappropriate personal prying and public slander.)

Laura Marcelus is absolutely amazing! I have deep set veins and usually it is challenging to get my blood drawn. With Laura though, it is always a piece of cake. She is unbelievably talented and exceptional at her job. She is also very kind and really works with her patients and their personal needs. Could not recommend Laura more! Dr Harry Gruenspan is amazing as well. Overall 5 star experience.

Everyone at this office was wonderful! The nurse who took my blood was so gentle and very sweet! Dr. Genovese was very professional with a warm and caring way.

During a visit with Dr. Kim, she asked if I would like sti testing done with an annual check-up. I told her no I didn’t need them as I had just gone to my GP the day before and they were already running these tests. Even though I explained this to Dr. Kim directly, when I get my bill they’ve charged $300 for sti tests. After reaching out multiple times over the past 4 months to get any information or help on the matter I still have yet to receive either. Instead, each time I contact the billing department they respond “we’re looking into it” or we’re “waiting for the doctors response.” I don’t think it takes 4 months to make a call to a doctor in your own offices. Be careful, this place charges you for things you specifically state you do not need and gives you the run-around instead of fixing it.

SCAM!! I truly wish I could give zero stars. I told them I wanted a yearly exam and they gave me a completely different appointment. Then I was given a $900 bill for an appointment I never requested. They could not justify why they gave me a different appointment then what I requested. They took advantage of my pre-exisiting health conditions for personal gain. You can look at other reviews and find similar comments!! This is clearly a trend of theirs. I could not be more disappointed. I will never go back even though the doctor seemed nice. This practice is a scam and I would never let a friend or family member go here.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!!!! Would give 0 stars if i could. Said they accepted my insurance online and they did not. Then i tried to get my medical history back to send to a new doctor and then sent me to a website to PAY for my history and it didnt even work. So unprofessional. Doctor was lovely but the staff and place itself is absolutely awful. i would never recommend this place to anyone

I’ve been seeing Dr. Genovese at MLM for the last 6 months. AMAZING service. No long wait times. Finally found a GP that I can trust! Not quick to prescribe meds. Love her approach to healing the body!

I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Karrin Genovese. She is so attentive and present and a kind and supportive listener. Having her as my primary care physician has really been pivotal in improving my overall health. For anyone who may have hesitance/avoidance issues about tackling some lingering concerns or needs an extra safe space to discuss their health, I highly recommend seeing her.

I saw Dr. Genovese as a new patient. I was seen on time. The office staff was efficient and professional. Dr. Genovese was thorough, compassionate and knowledgeable. It was one of my best patient experiences.

Something happened with Maiden Laine offices compared to last time I was their patient.This morning their administrator called me to confirm the appointment and among everything told me that she is unable to check with my insurance if they are in network because she cant call them.For reference, my insurance plan is a corporate plan with a very large insurance company. Usually administrators dont even have to check to know if they are in network.I checked with my insurance and they are also not sure what the problem was.The administrator did not answer any direct questions just repeated she is unable to call.I feel really concerned with it.

THEY MADE WRONG CHARGE AND SEND MY BILLS TO DEBT COLLECTION. I got wrongly charged bill and they ignored all my emails and phone calls with no response at all for clarification and send directly to debt collection!! I went to this place for basic annual physical check which is totally covered by my insurance. I made it clear multiple times I only do tests that fully covered by insurance and they agreed. My doctor even confidently said if you get any bill contact me, i will fix it. But look what shady thing they did!

Stellar service!I came in for my scheduled monthly check up. I needed to give some blood for testing. As a longtime fainter I was a little worried before the procedure but Laura and the lady who assisted her were nothing but amazing. The procedure went very smooth and their attention to my needs made me feel comfortable. I would also like to mention the stuff members Tamara and Angie. Everyone’s made this visit both smooth and pleasant. Great job guys!

Dr. Blanton is a very caring doctor. I would recommend her to anyone. I always left her office without any concerns. Her staff are great. Nurse Liz is so sweet. And I love our little chats while she takes my blood or blood pressure. Ilsa is super professional and always listens to my concerns

I have been going to Maiden Lane downtown and midtown clinic for years. I went to the uptown location for the first time for a yearly check up recently. I caution you to be very careful when deciding to come here as this clinic is only concerned about over billing their patients. After my yearly check up, I received a message on the portal notating results of bloodwork with nothing concerning found. Then I received a request for a follow up appointment with the doctor. I made a telehealth visit and the doctor told me some of my blood work didn’t come back and I could come retake it- that’s it. I was charged a $300 office visit for this less than 5 min conversation. After reaching out multiple times trying to figure out why the office staff didn’t just tell me to come in and get blood work retaken, instead of having the doctor call me and charge me an office visit, I was ignored via e-mail and phone calls. I have never had a medical practice conduct such appalling behavior trying to bill patients for a 5 min phone call. If you get asked for a follow up visit, be careful.

This office is run extremely poorly and unprofessional. No one knows the correct information and as a new patient this left me with a bad taste in my mouth. The receptionist that books appointments did not ask any of the correct preliminary questions to book the proper appointment. I had to call this office 4 separate times to get a referral. The doctor is impossible to reach as well.

They charged me wrong bill. I spent so much time arguing and asked a third party to argue for me and finally they agreed to refund and send me a paper check. However, after more than 10 weeks now, I still have not received the paper check. Very bad experience!!! So annoying!!! UPDATE: after 5 months, I still did not receive the refund check. And be careful, they save your credit card and charge it without asking you.

Dr Harry is a very knowledgeable and good doctor who takes good time to listen all your queries and answer them. Even the front desk staff is very helpful and goes out of the way to help you and keep you posted on the updates.

Very nice experience, from the ladies at the check-in desk to the nurse who took my vitals, and then from the doctor who did the exam to the lovely nurse who did the blood drawing. 10/10 recommend for people who are anxious about the girly doctor.

The incompetence of the front office makes this practice worthless. After having checked my insurance information with the person on the phone I made an appointment to see one of the doctors in this practice who supposedly accepted my insurance. I sent copy of my insurance card to them one week before my appointment. On the day of the appointment, they took my insurance card, assured me again that the doctor accepts my insurance. I waited 2 hours to be seen by the doctor, who informed me that she does not accept my insurance. The incompetence of the people is unbelievable. How they survive is beyond me. An indication of how bad our health system is because stupid people who do not care are doing jobs that they know nothing about.

First, Dr. Gruenspan is a great doctor. Id been seeing him for many years before he moved to Maiden Lane Medical. Compared to his old office, Maiden Lane falls short but has gotten better. The nurses are now friendly and skilled. The front desk is better than it used to be but it remains barely civil, never friendly, and often downright rude. I put up with all of this to see Dr. Gruenspan. I would not go there otherwise.

The staff tried to cancel my appointment the day before the appointment. The office called me but I missed the call. When I called back I was on hold for 10 minutes without getting to a real person. So I gave up. However, nobody tried to reach me afterwards - no voice mail, no email, no text message, no portal message. When I showed up on the day of, the receptionist just told me my appointment had been canceled. It was an infuriating and frustrating experience.

It was very convenient to make the appt online. The staff at the 60th location were very accommodating and efficient during the initial visit. Professional yet friendly. Tastefully appointed office practiced Covid protocols throughout my visit with reminder signs posted in both the reception area and exam rooms. Dr. Gruenspan is the kind of physician that asks comprehensive questions to understand your medical history. He was also open to my questions, concerns, and thoughts. He was patient in hearing me out and in answering. This is a patient based practice not a payment based as is common today. He comes highly recommended.

Dr. Ramos is a great doctor. Shes thorough and smart, and has excellent specialists on her list when you need further follow-up. Im happy she is at Maiden Lane. The place is clean, the staff is friendly, and you are seen in a timely manner.

Very kind staff, all the times Ive been there I never waited more then 10 minutes to be taken back to be seen by the doctor.. Dr Katz is very nice! I have already recommend him to a few friends and family!!

Meeting doctor Genovese was an excellent experience. She very pleasant to interact with and very responsive to my health issues.

Specifically, Id follow Dr. Ramos anywhere in Manhattan. Shes that good and never ceases to make me feel comfortable and un-rushed. I was seen on time, the associates were all quite pleasant. Overall good experience.

The process to make an appointment was quite friendly and efficient. It was a telehealth appointment and that went smoothly. My physician, Dr. Kaufman, was quite friendly and interested in helping.

Detailed information about lab results given by Dr. Mellow is very gratifying. She is extremely nice and I will always recommend her. The stuff are very nice and professional.

This practice is the best I have went too.The doctors and nurses have always been great and the support staff always responsive.

They bill you a month later an extra $20 just to discuss about pelvic pain. How ridiculous is this!! Billing department has disgusting reps answering the phone. Definitely finding a new PCP now.

Cant brag but so much about a doctors office but in this case I will.... everyone that works there knows my name.... oh and Dr. Katz actually wants to know how I feel..... Doreen is sent from heaven..... if you want a real doctor then this is the place for you....!!!!!

I’ve seen over 10 endocrinologist over the course of 7 years for ME/CFS. Extremely frustrating but by far Dr. Greenspan has been the best. 5 stars.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Gruenspan for more than 15 years. To put it plainly, he knows his stuff. Smart guy and easy to talk with.

Everyone in the office from the front desk to the nurses and dr. Were so helpful and made me feel so much better . I left the office feeling very optimistic and I felt very satisfied that so some was there for me. Love this office ! Thanks again

The 60 street location is good. however it appears to be understaffed, as I have had to wait over a half hour just to have blood taken. This has happened on my last two visits.

Dr. Blume is unbelievable. She is one of a kind. You don’t find physician’s like her any more.

Not really sure what is skewing the rating to a 4.4 but I am here to tell you to please look elsewhere for OB/GYN services! Seriously! After explaining my debilitating period symptoms to Dr. Rachel Villanueva, she was extremely rude, belittling, and dismissive, essentially wrapping up the conversation by saying my only solution is to get on birth control despite me expressing at the start of the conversation that hormonal birth control wasnt an option I wanted to explore. Rather than referring me elsewhere or even checking in to see how the birth control she prescribed has been going for me, I have been hounded over $325. It was just a routine check up, no ultrasound - simply a conversation where I was gaslit and given a medication I didnt want or ask for. Maiden Lane Medical definitely lives up to its acronym, MLM. I followed my gut and didnt take the birth control and will seek another gynecologist who will listen to me. 10/10 would not recommend! They dont give a crap about you, they just want your money.
