Going through another miscarriage has been absolutely excruciating. But one thing I want to share is the experience I’ve had with this practice in spite of one of the most terrible experiences of my life.I started seeing Dr. Bachman in January after my second miscarriage. Though that one was technically a chemical pregnancy (very early miscarriage before the pregnancy is confirmed on ultrasound), Dr. Bachman acknowledged the pain I was feeling and welcomed us with open arms. Through my experiences with her and with DIRM, I am convinced she and the team at DIRM are literal angels here on earth. They have encouraged and embraced me through the extensive fertility testing, through each time I hoped I was pregnant and wasn’t, and through this very emotionally challenging 3rd pregnancy. They answered every single message, and addressed every single one of my concerns (and there were a lot), and never got frustrated with my anxiety through this whole process. Dr. Bachman reassured me, and gave me peace at a time I was struggling to find it most. She listened to every concern, even returned my phone calls on the weekends, and personally worked with me when my insurance coverage ended after I was laid off while pregnant to ensure I was provided the best care, not only for my baby but for me while I tried to find care through another OB since mine had discontinued that part of their practice. Dr. Bachman is by far the greatest doctor I have ever had and probably will ever have and I cannot express my gratitude towards her in words. They say God puts people in your life for a reason, and even though I am majorly struggling with my faith right now, I know this is true for Dr. Bachman and her team.If you are struggling with infertility at all, I cannot suggest this practice enough. Even though the outcome wasn’t a successful pregnancy, I put my full trust in them that they will help us grow our family.

I cannot recommend Dr. Kovalevsky to anyone. He continually dismisses my concerns, tells me that we cannot find a solution to solve all of my concerns (without putting in any effort), and does not dig deeper into any of my complaints if the first test/solution does not work. I also am regularly spoken to like I’m stupid. There’s nothing more frustrating than being mansplained to about your own body. It’s a shame because the office staff and other team members have been lovely.

Dr Bachman makes you feel heard, understood, and hopeful! I have never walked away from a Dr consult feeling relief and truly cared for. She is wonderful. The scheduling staff was exceptional at getting me an appointment super quickly and easily.

I was at Dirm for 14 months. When i first started i knew absolutely nothing about any of the process. Slowly but surely the excellent doctors at Dirm walked me through medicated cycles, IUI, and then eventually IVF. I can’t thank them enough for never giving up on me even when i wanted to myself. We are now 12 weeks with our miracle baby and i will forever owe to Dirm. 10000% recommend them

After 4 miscarriages, Dr. Russell and the team at DIRM helped me carry not one but TWO successful pregnancies. I can’t thank them enough for my two beautiful girls!

The staff and doctors were great! They understood how you felt being that a lot of staff has been threw the same journey. I loved my team they made my scary journey so smooth and enjoyable. Would recommend this facility over any fertility place being that I tried a few before I found DIRM. 10 out of 10!!!

I cannot say enough great things about Dr. Bachman and the entire staff at DIRM. From getting me into the practice quickly to starting testing and treatments right away, I felt like I could ask anything and was constantly supported by every person I came into contact with.

I can only say positive things about DIRM! Every staff from the front desk to the clinicians are so kind and caring. A special thanks to Dr. Bachman, Julia, Lauren, and Kara for making each visit so positive, comforting & personal! I would recommend DIRM to anyone. ❤️

Every visit has been just as good as the one before. They are compassionate, kind, and caring. When having procedures done they make sure you are aware of each step and comfortable for all of them. The options for telehealth visits for any visits that do not require a specific procedure is excellent and makes it even easier for them to help many women.

Such a wonderful experience!! Going through infertility is difficult and Dr. Russell and his staff work through it with you, giving you the best chances for success. We were successful patients with our first child and now Im happy to say we are successful again with our second. The staff is empathetic and freely provide knowledge to help you understand what is going on with your body and how the prescribed treatments will help. It is a sad day when you transfer from the wonderful attentive care from DIRM to your regular doctors office. I highly recommend Dr. Russell and his staff!

The whole team at DIRM is so supportive and helpful. They worked with my partner and I to come up with the best plan for our family. They were very open minded and inclusive. They were always there to answer any questions and give us reassurance.

Absolutely the worst experience! My husband when for a seman analysis and they dont take his insurance so they charged $165.00 okay not bad. Well we called for the results and were told we needed an appointment to get them which is another 300.00 and them sending the results to my doc is pointless my doc said they cant read the results so we wasted a 2hr drive and $165.00 for ABSOLUTELY nothing!! Would have been nice to know all this the day we were there. The receptionist made it sound like my doc would get the results and all would be good yeah my doc got them but cant read them and Im Absolutely not paying 300.00 completely insane this place is a total joke and makes having a baby not so enjoyable.. unbelievable thanks for taking our money and wasting our time

I cannot speak highly enough about Dr. Russell and his team. We had transferred to his office from another practice and it was a night and day difference. Dr. Russell is in a class of his own and his entire staff is courteous, professional and extremely well trained. At Delaware Institute for Reproductive Medicine, you will feel like an actual human being, NOT a number. Janet and Lauren saw us through each step providing exceptional guidance and advice along the way.

They are wonderful!!! From the first day we met with them the entire staff was so welcoming and hopeful that they would be able to help us. They were there for us every step of the way! Very compassionate and understanding when things would get tough and kept pushing us. The staff here is just amazing and I actually was very upset to leave them when we did get pregnant! Highly recommended! No need to go anywhere else!

Dr. Russel did everything in his power to give me my son. He never gave up and did everything to save my uterus and made me a mom after three top named facilities failed. He was patient, listen to my needs, worked with my insurance company, was persistent in making sure I could carry out my pregnancy safely, and was always there to answer my questions. I can’t say enough about this practice. It took three years and money, words or my gratitude could never be enough for the precious gift he gave me. Five years in total and 3 years of being with this practice and now I’m a mom of a beautiful baby boy. Thank you Linda, Debbie, Lauren, Janet, Dr.Russel and Angie for making this possible.

I cannot say enough good things about DIRM. This was my second reproductive practice that I went to. The first one just kept telling me to loose weight. Dr. Russell and team actually listened to me and they tested my husband (which the first practice never even mentioned). Several tests, one procedure, and 4 rounds of clomid later, I am 14 weeks along.I felt very comfortable with Lauren (she was with me during most of my appointments). She is so sweet and obviously cares about her patients. Any question I had she was able to answer. I stopped in one morning after some slight bleeding (everything was fine) and she listened to me, comforted me, and made me feel a lot better. The next day I had a scheduled ultrasound and I feel that she took just a little extra time double checking everything just to put my mind at ease.The main ultrasound tech (she told me her name like 5 times at least and I feel terrible that I can’t remember it!) is amazing. She is so sweet and funny during appointments. Always greeted me by name and made every appointment she was in with me very comfortable.Toni, one of the girls that draws your blood, is just wonderful. There is at least one other girl who I’m sure is just as amazing, but Toni always seemed to be the one to grab me. Having blood drawn is never fun, but with Toni, it never really hurt.Even the front desk staff is amazing. They knew my name after about 4 appointments and, even though I couldn’t see them through the masks (covid), I could tell they always had a smile on their faces.I can’t recommend this practice enough. I had to hold back tears on Friday because it was my last appointment with them as I am entering the second trimester. I can’t thank the ladies and Dr. Russell enough. If I need a reproductive doctor again down the road, I will be going no where else but back to DIRM.

Getting through to the office initially was not easy. But I started working with them in May 2021. I am now 8 weeks pregnant. The office staff are super nice and very supportive. 10/10 recommended especially if your a plus size mama they are the only clinc I have found that didnt force weight loss prior to starting treatment!

We are so happy that our doctor referred us to DIRM. After over 2 years of trying with out success, we made our first appointment. I must say that it was quite scary to admit that there might be a problem. I bit the bullet and made the appointment. As soon as we walked in Linda greeted us with a huge smile and we felt at ease. Everyone was great!! Dr Russell, Lauren and everyone else (I forget all their names....sorry) we absolutely amazing. They made us feel important and that they really wanted us to succeed. Each time we were told to stay positive and always spoke about When it happens...... After 5 months I am happy to say that we were successful and have a baby boy arriving this July. My Graduation from DIRM was bittersweet. Happy to be pregnant but sad to be leaving that wonderful team. If we decide for number 2 we will be returning to them. Thank you DIRM for giving us the best gift in the world!!

Dr. Bachman made me feel like I was her only patient. I could feel her compassion during our first meeting. We look forward to continuing our journey with her!

My experience with DIRM has exceeded all my expectations. You will be treated like a queen from the minute you arrive. Dr. Russel and his staff truly take the time to get to know you as a patient and make you feel at home. I began my journey with very little expectation of being able to conceive again, however, the team washed away any doubt I ever had over every single visit. They are continuously friendly, positive, and a true pleasure to work with. They WILL NOT give up on you. It can sometimes be a long road but I truly couldnt imagine being a part of any other team. DIRM is truly the way to go and you will miss them when you graduate!

I cannot overemphasize how much I appreciate Dr. Bachman. I truly know that she cares and I dont just feel like a number. When we hit a roadblock, Dr. Bachman was the first doctor in years to take my pain and symptoms seriously. She diagnosed my endometriosis and continues to guide us along our fertility journey. I am so grateful.

Excellent experience with Lauren and Dr. Russell at DIRM. Dr. Russell was the one who did the initial IVF but Lauren was the one I would see weekly for several months once our IVF journey was successful (which it thankfully was!). Her bedside manner is exquisite and you can tell she genuinely cares for her patients. Every visit was enjoyable - the whole staff is kind and you can tell they care about their patients and helping them achieve their dream of becoming a family. HIGHLY recommend this place!

We wished for a miracle and TWO came true, thanks to the DIRM staff! Their endless support helped make our dream possible. Even after moving almost an hour away, we never considered switching to a different practice. The DIRM team always felt like a second family to us. Thank you so much to Dr. Russell and his amazing team for their perseverance and positivity during a trying time. We feel incredibly lucky to have found DIRM and we cant wait to meet our twins!

Couldnt have asked for a better staff and care! Dr. Russell, Lauren, Selina, Mary-Kate and Janet were amazing! Every single one of them truly cares about their patients. They got me a pregnancy that would stick in just over 2 months! I would highly recommend Delaware Institute for Reproductive Medicine! Thank you all again for being so good to us!

Everyone in both the Newark and Milford were great. Any questions I had were answered quickly and effectively. Everyone was very personable and made us feel comfortable. Infertility can get overwhelming and the drs and staff made it easier to breath. Im very happy with my experience and will recommend them to others I know that need the help

Dr. Russell & the entire DIRM is amazing. Dr. Russell pinpoints an individuals issues & works hard to solve them. He is extremely empathetic, & really connects with his patients. I would recommend Dr. Russell to anyone who is experiencing infertility issues, he will find a way to make your dreams come true!!!

Amazing team! Used both Milford and Wilmington offices. They all take the time to listen to you and in the end I felt like I was part of a family! Dr Russell does an amazing job pinpointing the issue at hand and I am forever grateful for him and his team! After having reoccurring mc he made it possible for use to conceive our rainbow baby! After having her we ended up prego again 3 months later w our surprise baby without his help. Dr Russell and his team go above and beyong and I thank him from the bottom of my heart for our 2 blessings!

From the moment we entered Delaware Institute for Reproductive Medicine, the staff were very helpful to us. They helped explain our insurance policy, explain the procedures being performed and treated us with respect. The staff continued to make us feel welcome on all our subsequent visits. After suffering an ectopic pregnancy and trying for almost a year a half without success, the staff at DIRM helped us to achieve our hope of expanding our family!

Dr. Russell and his entire staff could not be any more helpful or supportive. For example, Natalie took an hour of her own time to sit with me and explain a part of the process that I was unsure of. All of the employees are the same and they will take time to answer all of your questions (and I had a lot of questions !) I was pregnant on the first try and now have a perfectly healthy baby girl. If I could give more stars I would.

I highly recommend this place and you will thank me after your first appointment. Infertility journey can be an emotional one and you need a compassionate team on your side. Dr.Russell and his team come highly recommended. Very Clean Facility and Best phlebotomists in town !

It was a long and sometimes disheartening process, but Dr. Russell and his staff were always focused on our needs and fulfilling our desire to be parents. Other fertility clinics told us point blank it would never happen. I remember the first time we were there, the nurse told us, Dr. Russell makes babies. Weve got twin girls coming in July. I am forever grateful to the staff at DIRM for their years of dedication.

Dr Bachman is an absolute gem and always gives the best care! She is professional while still giving that personal touch where you know she cares about your journey!

Im only giving 5 stars because i cant give more. Dr.Russell/ Dr.Rainey and staff our world class and i would recommend them to anyone.My wife and I had been trying to have a child for a while prior to coming here. We had been working with another specialist who was very take it or leave it, this approach was causing us to lose trust in the process. My wife happened to find them online and we gave it a shot and absolutely has turned into the best decision we have ever made.My wife looked forward to going to her appointments each week. They also have amazing option for payments. As stressful as this time can be for a couple they made it as fun as it could be and got us on the right path to having a kid (my wife is due in december)It also helps that Dr. Russell went to The U....... as we all know ITS ALL ABOUT THE UThank youRoulston Family

My husband and I had a great experience at DIRM. Everyone in the office is very kind and compassionate. It is bittersweet to graduate the DIRM practice; I will miss everyone there and am thankful for their help during our fertility journey.

Dr. Bauchman is absolutely amazing! She has been nothing but kind and compassionate about getting me treatment and getting us the family we pray for!

The staff at DIRM are kind, thorough, and professional. My questions were answered promptly through the patient portal or by phone. I had a successful birth from my first round of IVF with DIRM and highly recommend them.

Dr. Russell is a extraordinary IVF doctor,etc... jumps right to a solution without waistin time. His staffs are wonderful ,easy going with appointment on your time. Through my whole experience with them I strongly recommend this practice.

They know what they’re doing. They seem pretty accommodating. I really didn’t know what I signed up for, it’s a lot of work but I’m trusting the process. They seem trustworthy.

I have been going to DIRM since May 2015. We had no coverage at the time so we did testing and a round with clomid. We unfortunately found out we had more issues than we thought so we had to move on to IVF. We took time off and returned in July 2017 for our first round of IVF. We had very poor results and only had 1 embryo make it to blast despite plenty of mature follicles. We transferred in September 2017 and it failed. We jumped right back into our 2nd round of IVF and again had poor results (protocol did not change so no surprise) but we transferred 2 blasts in February 2018 and got pregnant with a baby boy. Sadly at over 10 weeks we miscarried and were told he was normal but we must have gotten a blood clot. I was asked if I was on medrol or lovenox. I said neither. His response was you werent on either of them?! Clearly indicating a mistake had been made. We were heartbroken and broke. 6 months later we were blessed to win an IVF grant and due to funds and timing we decided to go back to DIRM and hoped the error would never happen again. We chose to use donor embryos so we would get 4 chances. We did months of testing ( extra $!), had multiple miscommunication issues (cost me more $!) and still absolutely NO ANSWERS. We miscarried again in February 2019 and they claimed poor quality embryo after they swore donor embryos were healthier. March 2019 we transferred again and it failed. I said no more until you figure out what is going on. We did more testing flushing more money for NO ANSWERS. July 2019 we transfer again but are unsure what embryo due to a serious mix up! It failed. I met with them again and they again had NO ANSWERS and basically told me dont bet on your last transfer working. We ask for more testing they claim we have done it all. We transfer our 7th and final embryo in August 2019 and it fails again. They have ZERO answers and truly do not care that they have made sure to empty our bank accounts, used the entire grant, plus more and left us with an empty nursery! DO NOT GO TO DIRM. We are absolutely heartbroken and if we are blessed to try again we will not be returning to DIRM.

I had an amazing first time experience at DIRM in Milford. I am excited to get the help my husband and I need. :)

Good communication, timely appointments, great experience with Dr. Kovalevsky. Did not feel rushed in my appointment. Had all questions answered.

Compassionate, efficient, knowledgeable group. Most of all, promising results! We were extremely happy with the care we received at DIRM. We love all the staff here!

Lost a pregnancy at DIRM and they didn’t even bother to call me with the genetic results- sent me a portal message. Didn’t return calls for a week.

No one calls you back. Been calling every day for almost a week now and have not received one phone call back. Very disappointing that a company operates this way.
