I loved the experience we had while having our baby at Ogden Regional. The nurses are phenomenal and very supportive of what you want. They try and help in any way. They took great care of me and my baby! I’ll definitely have my next baby there!

We delivered our first born here. The staff is really nice and comforting. If you guys are lucky to get doctor Lammi he gets 10 stars for humor and professionalism. They check up on you often and do their best to make your partner feel comfortable through the process. The rooms are also nice with all the essentials needed and a nice wooden finish. Really glad with how everything went.Only complaint if any would be how annoying the uv device is. But they tell you how to silence it so it’s not much of a problem.

I had my daughter here in April. I dont think Ill ever go to a hospital to give birth again. A couple of the nurses were great, the one who worked most of my delivery had some great suggestions for my husband to help out. And the other day nurse was nice and honestly helpful. Aside from that, I was disappointed. Heres the list:1. There should be more than one option for pain management. Epidural or nothing is awful. I had a bad reaction to it and couldnt stop shaking.2. Everyone should be trained and ready to catch a baby. I was told to stop until the doctor got there. That should never have to happen. Talk about prolonging the pain.3. There needs to be more breastfeeding support. My daughter, like most newborns, slept for the first 24 hours. She suckled beautifully for a few minutes in the first couple of hours, then went to sleep. Instead of knowing its completely normal for them to sleep like this, I was hassled to force her to feed and they pushed me to give her formula when she wouldnt wake up enough to latch. She now has nipple confusion and only feeds through a nipple shield or from a bottle. I dont like overuse of plastics, but what choice have they left me?4. The nurse who discharged me. I dont remember her name. She was disgustingly rude. When I asked for more formula, she came in and asked how much my daughter had eaten. She sneered when I said shed had the colostrum I could pump out and said she needed to be eating more than that. Id just asked for formula: obviously I was aware of this, but she treated me like my IQ was well below 50. When I said I wanted discharged she took ages about it. Gave me the discharge speech, again treating me as less than imbecilic, and finally we were out of there after just over 24 hours. She forgot to take my IV port out. My husband ended up taking it out.5. A couple of days later, someone at the hospital called to let us know theyd made a mistake on her pku test and needed to redo it. We followed the directions we were given and they couldnt find the order for the test. It took an hour for them to finally look up her pku test and find the order.I can only hope other aspects of the hospital are better managed as its the only one in the area covered by my insurance.

I had a medical induction here in April. The anesthesiologist who did my epidural messed up several times and had horrible bedside manner. The nurses who were in the room watching me have a panic attack during the encounter just stared emotionless the entire time. I asked for no medical students on my birth plan and they had medical students the entire time anyways. Majority of the nurses were nice though.

I had my baby here in December the hospital is great and my nurse who helped me deliver was awesome. I gave 3 stars because the nurses need more education on breastfeeding. The first night they told me I had no milk and had to supplement with formula and pushed it and were rude. All that night I was crying and a mess that I couldnt breastfeed like I wanted to. Turns out that wasnt true a lactation consultant came in the next day and got her latched and feeding in seconds. If a nurse is going be the one who comes in and helps you feed after they are born they should have more knowledge on latching and colostrum. She couldnt even put the nipple guard on right the lactation consultant didnt know why I was putting it on weird. The nurses made the first feeding a horrible experience and that should be a happy time. I have had multiple people tell me the same experience when it comes to nurses and breastfeeding.

I just had my baby here and the experience was great. Being transferred from a different hospital I was nervous about being in a new place and new faces, but the staff was awesome! They even let me have my baby shower at the hospital since I was admitted and couldn’t go to my own. Great experience here!!

I loved every moment of my Labor, this place was so calm and peaceful I loved the experience I had there while becoming a first time mom. The staff were really friendly, helpful and made me feel so comfortable. The rooms are spacious enough to have family and friends there to visit without it feeling overwhelming. I loved that it was behind the main hospital and in its own area, with it not being so busy you really feel like you are their main priority. Also, it is nice that the labor and delivery area are quick and easy to get too from the parking lot without walking through the whole hospital.

Worst Experience I have ever had anywhere! This is the first time I have ever written a bad review. I try to always give people the benefit of the doubt. Having a baby should be a happy and joyful experience but some of the nursing staff made it a very conflicted experience. Once we were settled in our room and the nursing staff didnt come in as much the experience got better and the anesthesiologist was awesome. Im giving them 3 stars because the anesthesiologist and the two nurses that where helping during the delivery were great.

Today I went in for a tour and the ladies at the front desk were nice, but the nurse that gave me and my husband a tour was really rude, she didn’t want to answer my questions and didn’t show me the facility properly. I’m really scared because I’m going to have to deliver my baby at this hospital because my I insurance doesn’t cover Mkay Dee. I don’t feel safe or comfortable in this hospital.
