Planned Parenthood - Ogden Health Center

Everyone was so friendly and very helpful. I love what Planned Parenthood stands for and the services they offer the community. Kylie was so friendly during check in. Aurora was above and beyond informative, kind, and compassionate. She explained everything so well and made sure to answer any questions I had. Hillary was prompt in helping me and got me a fun pin to take home. I appreciate this clinic so much!

The location and staff were amazing, my issue isn’t with them at all or the services provided. The doctor I met with was very friendly, caring, and went above and beyond to assist my concerns. However, their systems are ALWAYS down. The day of my appointment I had to wait an extra 45 minutes for their systems to come back up. I was told my test results should be available by the end of the week. Unfortunately Friday, systems were down again. I called 4 days later to see if I could finally get my results- surprise, systems down again. I just want to know my test results and it’s very frustrating having to wait so long.

Beware that you are not underquoted!!! Please read to know what I mean.TLDR: they forgot to quote me $800 and then told me it was due on top of my quote after I got my procedure. We came to a compromise after my husband and I had a serious talk with the manager. Otherwise, it would be less stars.I wanted to get a birth control removal and reinsertion (nexplanon arm implant). Originally I was gonna have the OBGYN do it, but she told me its way cheaper at PP. Honestly, I dont think that was the case. Maybe if you qualify for sliding scale.I called to schedule with PP and calling takes you directly to their call center. You are not speaking to anyone local. I explained what I wanted and was quoted $138. Great. Scheduled my appointment.Today, I show up, and the form I signed made me acknowledge what the costs could come up to, including extra testing etc. At most it was a little over $400. For the actual procedure I was quoted $320. I understood that things can differ from on the phone to in person, fine. But thats not the issue.I got the procedure done. The procedure was actually great. The PA Kaylee helped me. She was very kind, knowledgeable and had a great bedside manner.After the procedure, I go to pay and the clerk tells me it comes to $1,088. I inquire more and she says they forgot to tell me that the actual implant was $800. I ask for the manager(her name is Jordan), and she was standing right by and told me it was correct. Despite me telling her had I known the price, I wouldnt have had it done, she tells me its not an issue because I can pay as slowly as I want to and it will never go to collections. She tells me that despite price, they want to work with people and help them no matter what so there is no problem. I was dumbfounded she was fine with the situation so I left to go to the car and figure out what to do.I came back in with my husband and we spoke with the manager Jordan in private. We were able to get her to bring the price to around the original quote before I got the procedure. I honestly think if I hadnt been able to do that, going to the OBGYN would have been cheaper. Even just based on principle, its not okay to neglect to tell someone about an $800 charge, even if it wont go to collections

I had a great experience with all the staff today! (03/13/2024) Everyone was extremely friendly, helpful, and informative! I didn’t have to wait too long for my appointment and the doctor answered all my questions. They were also able to lower the cost of my appointment with some discounts, which I really appreciated!

Love the staff and doctor here. Sometimes the wait is long, sometimes its short. Its like a regular doctors office keep that in mind, they get busy sometimes. If you go in earlier in the day its less busy. The staff here is very knowledgeable and kind. I love that they take the time to answer all my questions and focus on educating me.Thank you for all that you do !

MY EXPERIENCE WAS SO GOOD! First time visiting this Ogden location and I’m so pleased with my experience. Amparo in reception is amazing and very informative, Cassandra is so nice and knowledgeable, and OBGYN Brittney was so amazing and effective and professional during the whole procedure. I got an IUD replaced and I didn’t even feel that much pain compared to my other experiences. My boyfriend was there with me and they even let him into the room. I loved all these hardworking women and I will be coming here again!

If you love waiting 2 hours to be seen, this is the place for you. I was told to arrive at 440 when my appointment was at 5pm. It turned 620pm before I decided to leave. Good luck getting them to answer phones. I get the short staffing situation, but I worked in nursing homes short staffed and still got to my patients in under 30 minutes, thats with a case load of 15-25 patients and all the cna tasks on top of the call lights.

This place used to be amazing when it was in the old location on harrison. Since moving and getting their new staff they are awful the wait time is horrible theyre not very friendly whoever the doctor is with the red hair gave me such attitude I couldnt believe it if youre coming to pick up a prescription and the doctor is busy dont expect to leave there before youve already waited an hour even after paying I had to sit and wait for for the doctor to give her the okay to give me my birth control when it used to be you would come in pay and be done this place sucks now

THE ABSOLUTE WORST place to go for any cares!!! my first appointment i had to wait 45 min to be called back and another 30 min to sign a paper.Second time i waiting for 45 min AGAIN to be called back and i was the very first person in for the day. they did not call ONE person back for 45+ min. and we’re very rude about it. this place is complete TRASH!!! don’t waste your whole day here.

Seriously. Planned Parenthood, I WANT TO GIVE YOU MY BUSINESS. Except I can’t because you have banker’s hours but worse. I literally cannot get to you during your operating hours and YOU’RE FORCING ME TO GO ELSEWHERE. My working hours mirror yours except I need to commute an hour in each direction. So… just one night a week, if you were open until 7, I could make it work. Your call, PP.Or hell. Who’d have thought that people might need a 72 hour pill on a Saturday? Mayhap you should consider being open on Saturdays like the rest of the world is.

Horrible service. My wife waited in an exam room for over an hour just to get a 5 minute “questionnaire” check up. She told me she saw the employees sitting comfortably across the hall chatting for 45 minutes while she was waiting, happily not doing their jobs. What’s worse, I sat out in the front waiting room the entire time and not a SINGLE other patient went in or came out of the clinic the ENTIRE TIME. Not a single one! They seem to like their schedule’s light to allow plenty of time to socialize among themselves. I guess it makes sense when you consider that that was our first time and now we will never go again. Can’t believe that just happened. My wife was over an hour late for work.

I had a really good experience with them the staff is really friendly and they help you with all the questions u have I would recommend them

BEST EXPERIENCE EVER! They got me in really quick and everybody was so nice to me! I loved my doctor and she made me feel so comfortable during the entire process! I’ve never felt so safe and relaxed in a medical setting before and I’m so happy I went here! No judgment whatsoever from anyone and they were so genuine in taking care of my needs! I’m definitely going to keep coming back here!

Apparently they refuse to answer their phone, ever, and will not respond to any emails as suggested on their site to do so for appointments, Ive been trying to get my daughter an appointment for two months. Why would I continue to do this at this point? Sheer curiosity as to exactly how long they would actually make someone wait. Ive gotten another appointment elsewhere, long before this.

They never answer your phone calls, even if its an emergency that only they can help you with. They use high volume of calls as an excuse but anytime I go into the clinic, reception is sitting there doing absolutely nothing.

Ive been going here for years, I just got off the phone while in the middle of asking a quick got hung up on. I have never had a problem with anyone that was employed there but that was beyond rude. All she had to say was that she didnt know the answer to my question and that Ill have to wait until my appointment. But she quickly said she didnt know and that theyll see me next week. Dunno what type of day youre having but that was so rude and so extremely unprofessional. I hope youre not there when I go to my appointment because I will tell you how rude and unprofessional you are. Just wow. I am in shock with how rude I was treated over the phone by this employee with iwould have gotten her name because that was so unprofessional.

Since when do people deny medical service? Called asking for an appointment to be set up, having some pains in my lower hip. Was asked if I was on birth control, said no. Was told I couldn’t set up an appointment to be seen, needed to go else where.

Ive been coming here since I moved to Utah and theyve always been super affordable and welcoming. A few simple questions and Im able to get birth control which I need to function. Theyve followed great precautions against COVID19. Masks are required by customers and employees. Theres hand sanitizer for use, and they even extended my prescription to keep as little contact as possible. Their phone appointments only make everything easier during these times, and Im so glad theyre here in Utah despite the constant fight against them. Thank you so much, Planned Parenthood!

This is one of the first planned parent hoods I went to where I was treated like an adult. Ive had a lot of issues with birth controls and things and my practitioner was the first to really explain to me what options were ok and took an accurate medical history and told me that no doctor should have prescribed me certain types of birth control because of my migraines. Sure there is a little bit of a wait time but it depends on when you go in because during their clinic hours they try to get as many people in as possible and they are the only PP north of salt lake. Theyre awesome (:

First time visiting and had an amazing experience! Everyone was very nice and informative. Made me feel so comfortable even though I went by myself. I was so nervous but they were so kind and non judge mental. Didn’t feel obligated to do something I didn’t and they did provide all the option and resources I needed specially being my first time on birth control. This location rocks!!

I have been calling for 2 days straight just to make an appt for 2-3 weeks later to check my bc implant Ive had for over 6 years from a planned parenthood in NM. Everytime I call this center I am placed on hold because I hear a click or a few seconds of noise when someone answers, but then they continue to place me on hold and I have yet to speak to a live person. Bad service if you cant ask someone to hold please, or even say 1 moment please. I held once for 33 minutes thinking maybe I wasnt holding long enough and maybe it was very, very busy and no one got on the line at all.

Awful wait times, poor customer service, had to come in a second time because they didnt do the tests we had scheduled the first time.

I waited twenty minutes for an appointment and the doctor didn’t seem like she wanted to help me nor was she polite or friendly. I will not come back again.

This place was terrible the girl who was at the front was so rude and so arrogant. the first time we went the girl said we had to come back tomorrow so we did and then she said that we wouldn’t know the results for 5-10 business days. also we had to wait like 40 min just for the doctor or whatever to SHOW UP!? like are you kidding me!? aren’t you guys supposed to be helping girls who don’t have anywhere else to go!??!! not impressed at all

I left a review a year ago after calling multiple times because this location never answers the phone. I need to call to schedule an appointment to do a regular annual check up & I figured its been a year maybe theyve changed staff or management. Nope they still dont pick up the phone.

I recently moved to Ogden and I have been trying to call to set an appointment but I am unable to get through and when someone does answer, they say to please hold really fast and places me back on hold! This is very frustrating!

I went to get a bc implant removed. The staff was amazing and very understanding. They listened to my concerns and were incredibly non judgmental. The Dr. Who removed my implant was absolutely phenomenal! Not only did he keep me distracted the entire time by talking to me about my favorite books, and recommending some of his favorites, but he did a FANTASTIC job at removing my implant. The scar is so tiny, that I dont even think it will remain a scar at all. It looks like a bee sting, but I have absolutely no pain from it, and the bruising is minimal. I can actually say that this trip to the Dr. Was enjoyable! Im so greatful for the staff at this location! They turned a frustrating situation into something pleasant.

I was the 2nd appointment on a Monday and had to wait an hour and a half for a 15 minute procedure. I have places to be!

Why does nobody answer the phone? I’ve been trying to make an appointment for weeks. Everytime I’ve called nobody has answered or I’ve been put on hold for 15 minutes just to be told to call back later due to nobody being available.

First time I had been to PP and it went well. Wait time was short (I went around 2 pm), about 15 minutes. The staff was friendly and helpful + informative. I was very pleased with the precautions and sensitivity to personal issues as well. Great place!

It’s impossible to get a hold of anyone there I’ve sat on the phone waiting for over 2 hours no agent called me back either.

I have been sitting in this exam room waiting for the provider to return for almost 1 hour at this point. I am currently in the waiting room desperate to get out but no one is helping me. it seems they’ve forgotten i am here. the provider that was helping me before she stepped out gave me so much misinformation all i wanted was Ella but she kept going off about BC and stuff i didn’t need. overall i’m just upset i’ve been left in here.

Clean facility, honest workers, and kind. Stay on the line and make an appointment and it will all go smoothly! Tysm planned parenthood. 💓

Ive been to this particular Planned Parenthood multiple times. Each visit theyve been kind and very helpful. They take the time to explain all of my options and make sure that Im comfortable with my choices. I highly recommend Planned Parenthood to anyone.

Haven’t been able to make and appointment for months nobody answers calls and you have to make an account online just to make an appointment. I need my birth control removed and I’m scared but I can’t get any help from planned parenthood.

Had the BEST experience I’ve ever had with a doctor here. Everyone was super kind and patient. They made me feel very safe and comfortable the whole time.

Staff said the wait would be 20 minutes and we were in within 10. Very professional and kind, the lady said she was treated with the upmost respect. Had everything we needed and out of there with a smile and time to spare :)

I got my birth control implant here a month ago everything was fine except today when I tried to call them three times they hung up the phone on me. I will be calling different location. Hopefully they can give me some help over the phone

I have been trying to call just to ask a few questions for over a week now.Every time I call I get put on hold automatically and stay in hold for up to 10 minutes or so and then u get a message that says All our staff our busy please call at a later time. Goodbye.Doesnt matter what day or time I call I cannot get through.Very frustrating and unprofessional.

This place is awful we just went there to get a test done and the refused us at 4:15 when they don’t close until 5 and the two girls at the front desk were very rude and impatiently waiting for us to leave. I didn’t get my questions answered at all and they were very important questions, I do not recommend at all.

I literally had the BEST experience I EVER had at Planned Parenthood. Quickest experience of my life, and they actually cared to take the time and explain things to me and listen to my concerns. Thank you!

The staff was friendly, they gave me information on all my options for birth control and let me think about them for as long as I needed, and answered all my questions before I made my choice. Incredibly nice staff.

1/5 star. Doctors didn’t sign off on my pharmacy medications till 48 hours after. Had to wait the entire weekend for MY MEDS!

I have literally called 20 times today and press 0 to speak with a person and it plays music for 10 seconds and says all staff are busy please call at a later time. I understand this place gets busy but my god answer the phone because you guys really suck at it.

I always have such a hard time getting anyone to answer and when they do they are not very friendly.

I think it wrong to make people pay for service though you guys was there for people that cant afford birth control ect and ur making medicaid people pay to get seen. i might not come back

I called and got the same recording over and over again. Even after I hit where I wanted to be transferred to. I dont expect much from them after that.

They understood my situation and got me help almost right away. I saved a lot of money going through them.

Obviously do not call they treat you like ****. Poor customer service. Im thinking of filing a official complaint.
