My wife and I started going to OGI after a few early miscarriages. The OB I was working with at the time actually told me she did not know how to further treat me. She recommend that I go to see an IVF clinic because I was over 35, but I wasn’t ready for that and thankfully I found OGI and really liked their focus on infertility. I met with Dr. Thayer and she was beyond incredible. At my initial appt. she was so kind, she answered all of my questions, never made me feel rushed, and she gave me several options that we could try at OGI before proceeding with IVF elsewhere. Once I finally got pregnant, Dr. Thayer had a treatment plan in place for me to help ensure that I didn’t miscarry again and thankfully everything worked out and I really think a lot of that had to do with the care I received.During my pregnancy, I ended up having to get my appendix removed at 26 weeks. During that time I met 5 out of the 10 practitioners at OGI who were all wonderful. I had to have emergency surgery and the on call doctor that was there during my surgery was Dr. Zhang. She was so fantastic and stayed by my side before/after the surgery. I am really thankful for the compassion she showed me during such a scary time.During my prenatal care is when I met Zoe, Nurse practitioner. I can’t say enough good things about Zoe. Zoe truly cares about your well being and always made me feel 100% comfortable. She is such a big advocate of mental health and she shows so much empathy for whatever you might be going through. Zoe even took the time to call me during my postpartum care to check-in because she knew how overwhelmed I was.During my labor and delivery, I was so lucky to have Dr. Ellingson as my doctor. She is a gem! She kept checking in on us throughout the process and when things took a subtle turn she was there before the nurse even had to call her. Throughout my baby’s entire birth I felt like I was in great hands even when the baby’s heart rate started to drop. She has such a warm and genuine presence and my husband and I will never forget her!OGI provided the most superb healthcare that I’ve ever received from any doctor’s office. I would recommend them to anyone because they will always go above and beyond to ensure you receive top notch care.

I see Dr. Naroko-Stewart and have nothing but wonderful things to say about her. She listens to my concerns and does a great job of explaining things and not stressing me out/worrying me (which is why I left my first clinic). She has been so wonderful with all of my pregnancies - highly recommend!

Great doctors, however they have a very strict late policy if youre late for your appointment. Completely understand and respect that, however every time I have an appointment, I arrive 10 to 15 minutes early for my appointment, yet like clockwork, Im not seen until 25 to 45 minutes after my scheduled appointment. If Im expected to be on time, I expect the same. I understand things happen, but every appointment? Either they take on too many appointment in a day or have no sense of time management. This is extremely frustrating when I take time out of my day, to be seen, and arrive promptly and prior to my appointment as requested.

Ive been going to OGI since I had my first kiddo whos now almost 3! Ive loved everyone Ive worked with at this location. OGI was the 3rd clinic I went to when I was expecting my son. The previous clinics I attended never made me feel like they were really listening or made me feel rushed through my appointments. Dr. Brown was my OB throughout my pregnancy and I was lucky enough to have her deliver my son as well. She was always so patient and caring, I felt so well taken care of. She was INCREDIBLE to work with and I cant recommend her enough!

This place was a miracle for us after going through a different health care system that was pretty standard and terrible. They listened, allowed us space to process and share emotions, made a plan for infertility treatment and monitored us closely throughout a high risk pregnancy. We couldn’t get over how much they invested in our story and wanted us to have a family as soon as possible (instead of other docs and HC systems who told us that miscarriage was just common, that they couldn’t help us until another loss, and that they just “didn’t do” blood work until they saw it necessary. Basically treated like a number). We’ve gone on to have 3 healthy children under OGI’s care (the last one arrived this week) and I will forever be filled with gratitude for this place. All of the doctors are great, but we’ve had Dr. Schultz for all our pregnancies and couldn’t recommend her enough. We’ve used the Maple Grove location, which is tied to delivering at Maple Grove Hospital and it’s been amazing.

Don’t let the negative nancies leaving reviews deter you. I have never met a nicer, more knowledgeable staff than at this clinic. I go through Dr. Brown, but Dr. Rice did my emergency C-Section and Dr. Hasseler was able to squeeze me in last minute for my initial appointment for my first C-Section.I haven’t had a bad experience with any of the staff or doctors, and I highly recommend any of the physicians that they have on staff. The nurses are always SUPER nice as well.

Horrible business office. Reading incorrect dates for insurance purposes, unable to explain the bills they send, and overall not helpful. Then they transfer you to someone who can “help” and they do not answer. Very disappointing to have this type of assistance. This is now the 2nd time year having issues with them on two separate occasions.

Was given incorrect information about my appointment, the was given incorrect paper work and information when I went to me appointment. I called one of the phone numbers to ask a question about my appointment and I got some rude, crazy and seemed not well trained person in billing. The doctor never followed up with us to see how things were going either...totally ghosted by them. Then a few weeks ago I received information about how the doctor was retiring, then they send an email out saying that information wasnt true. How in the heck does one company make so many mistakes? Dont waist your time with this place, they clearly dont care nor have their stuff together.

I have to say I am quite disappointed in the level of service received today.I went in 15 minutes early (per their direction) for my 3:00 pm appointment. Waited in the lobby until 3:20, checked in with the front desk, and was finally called back at 3:30 (30 minutes post appointment time). Went through the check in process with the nurse, who informed me (without apology for my wait) that I was not on her schedule for the doctor, but I was on the schedule at the front desk. She informed me that the doctor would be in soon, and left the room. After waiting another 30 minutes (at this time, 1 hour and 10 minutes after my scheduled appointment) I left the clinic. Such disregard for patients time.Beyond that, there was hair all over the floor in the room, and fake eyelashes, that certainly weren’t mine. Of course that raises sanitation concerns. Upon mentioning this to the woman at the front desk before leaving, her only response was “oh. Gross”. No kidding.

UPDATE 3/2022: I had previously written a negative review in February 2020 about how difficult it was to get ahold of anyone here to set up an appointment. Now I can only assume that they were experiencing staffing difficulties at that time, as I eventually got an appointment, became a regular patient, and never had issues again. And in fact I would highly recommend OGI Maple Grove! I saw Dr. Baker for a couple years till she retired, then Dr. Ellingson, and both were wonderful. The NP staff is also great. I appreciated that everyone was open and honest regarding options and cost, and allowed me to make my own decisions.

I have my son because of Dr. Brown. I recommend this clinic to everyone I meet who is struggling to get pregnant or stay pregnant. Dr. Brown and the clinic made me feel special at every visit and gave me a very clear treatment plan -- this was after I had struggled for years to find a clinic that could help with my specific needs. They are incredible and mean so much to me and my family.

This place is terrible with keeping on-time appointments. Every time I’ve been here I’ve waited in the lobby 30 min or more. Not sure why they don’t schedule according to what they can commit to. Super irritating and inconsiderate.Update May 25th, 2021: Sitting in the lobby for my 12:00pm appointment. I got here 10 min early and it is now 12:30pm. I was told they don’t have any rooms available, but I’m next with my doctor. Why is it so difficult for this place to get their scheduling correct and courteous? I’ve built a relationship with my doctor, but may have to switch mid-treatment to a different clinic. The patient is expected to be on time and I expect the same courtesy from the clinic. It’d be one thing if this only happened once in a while, but it seems to be almost every visit.

I decided to set up an appointment at this clinic due to the high ratings, but I was very disappointed in my visit. I arrived at 2:50 and was not seen until almost an hour later. Once I was finally brought into a room I had to wait until 10-15 minutes for the Dr. to arrive to the room. The appointment was no more than 10 minutes and they ushered me out. I would not recommend this place! It was possibly a busy day, but even the friendliness of the staff seemed off. I will finding a new doctor for future visits.

Never experienced such a disorganized clinic. One appointment-I got called back to get my blood pressure/weight/etc. and overheard a patient saying shes been waiting over an hour to see her doctor (which is the doctor that I see)....this prompted me to ask if my doctor was running late and they said yes, I guess shes running 2 hours late. Only reason someone told me is because I overheard another patient and I went on to say I cannot wait 2 hours-I work full-time and have to go back to work. They werent able to get me in with anyone else and so I left. Next appointment-I got called back for BP/weight/etc. then got put into a room and it was my strep b test so I was told to undress waist down. I sat on the table for 45 minutes by myself until I dressed and opened the door where I happened to see my doctor in the hallway as she was heading out the door because she was running late with her appointments and now had to leave for a last minute surgery/delivery/etc. I wonder if I wouldnt have peaked my head out if I would have sat in there all day and no one noticed. I then said I wanted to see another doctor because its difficult to reschedule (SINCE I WORK FULL TIME), after much discussion another doctor said they could see me, the doctor swung by my room and said Ill be in in 3 minutes. 25 minutes later he was back. My recent 39 and 40 week appointments were just switched which I learned over voicemail because surgeries were scheduled that morning. The clinic said they dont like you to see another doctor so I have to now try and get this all worked out with my work schedule. I came from MCRH with Dr. Corfman and that clinic was AMAZING, the best. They are infertility and once pregnant, they dont see you for followups-otherwise I would have stayed there. This clinic however, is completely disorganized and does not care about the inconvenience they cause to their patients. I will NEVER come back to this clinic. My doctor is great, but unfortunately it doesnt outweigh my experiences at the clinic and its just not worth the stress and uncertainty of if your going to be able to actually have your appointment that day and if its actually going to be on time.

I have been going to OBGYN & Fertility for almost a decade and I love it. The doctors and nurses are always so nice, helpful and educational. I love that they have a nurses line so you can have a mini consultation before you decide if you need an appt. I had a minor emergency this morning and they got me in within the hour. Everything was quick, efficient and as good as that kind of appt can be! I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

It seems staff that answer the phones and schedule appointments could use some customer service training or maybe a reminder that patients calling to schedule appointments may be dealing with things (meidcal concerns/ stress about whats going on medically) and deserve kindness or, at minimum, respect. I could not figure out my insurance coverage in the begining and the administration harassed me so much for the money that I had contractions. She told me that I should go to The hospital in Minneapolis for people like me and they will not accept me at the hospital. She was fighting with me for an hour and seam to enjoy it. I complained to nurse practitioner later on and she just responded as if it is not a big deal. Hospital notes does not include my complaines in it. Nobody ever apologized to me.I had to wait for Doctor and just seating there not knowing what is going on, nobody cared. Then another lady showed up and nurse went on and on with apologies. I never seen a person with accent there. May be they dont like immigrants.I had Dr.Darrah as my doctor. Seen her 2 times in 5 moth period. After waiting for her for 1.5 hours I told her that my time cost money just like hers and hospital should not expect patients to wait for the doctors. She said she feels sorry that I feel that way which is not good enough. She should apologize that the hospital overlooks or expect people to wait for them. Then when I called to ask for the note to for a pat time at my work because I feel bad she responded that she did not feel I need that. Despite my complaints and luck of sleep!!!

I have never had a better experience with any similar doctors or even doctors of other disciplines. I adore the staff, MA, PA, and Dr at OGI. Their compassion, consideration, and respect, are comparable to none. I have been going to my doctor there since I was 16, gone through surgeries, and had my first baby (now almost a second) in over a 10 year span with them and I can tell you that compared to my friends and family who go elsewhere I have been blessed to have my experiences with OGI. If you are looking for a OB/GYN doctors office this is by far the best.

Friendliness of the staff is great. They get you in the appointment right away. As for everyone saying they won’t see you If you have a pending balance, they state that right away when you first sign up.My issues? My first appointment went fine. Originally got referred for an hsg because I’ve been having issues with pregnancies. Doc told me to schedule the appointment when I get my next period, she even gave me a timeline of what tests to do and when. At the end of that appointment I had my blood drawn for multiple tests. So far so good right? My next period comes, I go to schedule my hsg. Got it scheduled. Got a phone call a few days later saying I can’t get the hsg done because I have been “introduced (can’t think of the damn word)” to chlamydia. Original doc never told me that. Got prescribed on antibiotics for that. Also found out my prolactin levels were like triple the normal range. Told me I need to schedule an appointment at a different clinic to see an endocrinologist. I confirm with them all I do is call them, get the appointment, get the referral from my original doc. They said yes in that order. I call the place, they get confused cuz I never got a referral transferred. Long story short, after a few agitating phone calls; I had to call my original doc to get the referral to the endocrinologist. I left that at that.Few days later I got a phone call saying my doc made the referral to the endocrinologist and I should be getting a phone call to make an appointment. That was back in late November/early December. Still waiting on that phone call. No recommendation of meds to try to get my prolactin levels to get down.Got put on progesterone suppositories becausey levels were low. They never asked me to set up an appointment unless I get a positive pregnancy test 2 weeks after my positive ovulation test. Just told me to stop taking them if my pregnancy test comes back negative.Sorry for the long rant. Basically in short, their communication sucks and I feel like they don’t care. Oh yeah, and the doc they scheduled me with went on maternity leave like the week after my first appointment. So my doc they have me going under I have yet to meet and my first appointment was in November. Didn’t know she was going on leave until she told me that day. So there’s my story

First of all, I have had so many ultra sounds which from what I know of isn’t healthy for babies. Second, lacking information with visits and didn’t receive proper information prior to a test. I ask that this be adjusted for future ladies coming to you. It’s inconsiderate to put babies and moms to be at risk. To further it by not giving proper information about upcoming appointments so we can prepare.

Love love love Dr.Darrah. She is so thorough and cares about you as an individual. She helped me find out more information in 2 months then Oakdale OBGYN did in a year and a half, as she actually listens to her patients concerns and takes them seriously. She is willing and wants to help you get answers so you can make the best/most effective plan for you and your partner. Additionally, she makes sure to answer all your questions and ensures you are informed of all options so you can make the best choice/decision for what is best for you and your family. Similarly, she makes sure that you have the information and resources needed for referrals and follow ups - which really helped to ease the stress/pressure off me and my husband. She is invested in her patients wants/needs - truly a great provider.HIGHLY recommended!!

My Wife and I did fertitlity testing, treatments, and from the first initial consult meeting we had I couldnt have been more dissapointed. I should have realized right from that moment that this company was merely a business. they didnt have any regard or respect to the situation which had led us to their facility. Their business model is disgraceful. They are out for one thing. Your money. We have plenty of money to pay for these procedures... but unless your account is completely paid up, they wont let you continue with treatment, even if its in the middle of your cycle. They turned my wife away from multiple appointements because we hadnt yet paid on bills that we hadnt even RECEIVED yet. I would never recommend this facility to any of my friends, nor would I ever set foot in that building again.

Pap smear cause infertility but I bet they didnt tell you anything about the pros and cons right? They just told you to undress? Yeah thats because they dont care they just want the insurance money theyve been promised if they force women to do these tests. Dont believe me then Google it.Dont want to spread your legs for a stranger? Then dont. It harms tour cervix and is completely unnecessary. The results are highly inaccurate and some doctors enjoy touching you down there. Read about the man that videotaped all the pelvic exams he performed on hundreds of women. Your vagina is private. Dont make them force you to submit to an invasive exam if you dont want it. Its your right.

I would not recommend this doctors office if you are being treated for infertility. They require you to pay your balance before receiving additional treatments, even if you are in the middle of your cycle. I hadn’t even received a bill yet when I was asked to pay my balance. They also have you seen by the NPs who don’t seem to review your chart before your appointment. If you are overweight, I wouldn’t suggest seeing any doctor here, as they refuse to give you any fertility meds (clomid or femara) and say it’s a clinic policy. No doctor should be able to tell you if you can or can’t be a mom based on your weight, if you are otherwise healthy. Infertility is already a roller coaster of emotions and comments about weight cause additional and unneeded stress. There are many other offices in the area that are so much easier to work with.
