Dr. Ashley Davis, MD

I initially went to Dr. Davis with hope, believing she would finally give me the help I desperately needed. She claimed to specialize in fibroid surgery and suspected I might have endometriosis as well. She saw the toll this was taking on my body, even noticing the burns from my heating pad, which I use constantly just to cope with the unbearable pain. I’m in agony for three weeks out of every month, and she assured me that she understood and would help me get better.She prescribed Myfembree to stop my excessive bleeding so I could raise my iron levels for surgery. But the prescription wasn’t covered by my insurance, and the pharmacy let me know right away. Despite this, I was willing to do everything on my end, filling out the paperwork for an assistance program so I could access the medication. All that was left was for Dr. Davis to complete her part of the paperwork.Months have passed, and she hasn’t done it. Instead, she kept sending the prescription, knowing I couldn’t fill it, knowing I was still bleeding heavily and in constant pain. I reached out to her office multiple times, hoping for any response, any sign that they cared. But I was met with silence.I’m still bleeding. Still in excruciating pain. Still no surgery scheduled. Dr. Davis seemed like she had compassion, but her inaction has made me feel ignored and abandoned. I thought I had finally found a doctor who would take my condition seriously, but instead, I’ve been left to suffer while she continues to disregard my needs

I was absolutely pleased with my experience with Dr. Davis. From the very first appointment to my six weeks follow up appointment. I was so comfortable with her, that I can sit for hours to talk with her about anything. Having a hysterectomy was the best decision and having Dr. Davis to perform the surgery.

Dr. Davis changed my life! She was the only doctor that listened to me in the past 5 years. I had been in extreme pain for about 5 years and all of my other doctors would tell me that I’m not dying, so I’m fine. Dr. Davis determined that I had endometriosis and provided me with different options for treatment. We decided to remove it surgically and I cannot express how much my life has improved. I forgot what it was like to not be radiating in pain all day every day. She is literally the best doctor I have ever seen.

Very pleased with my experience with Dr. Davis. From my diagnosis to removal surgery to post-op follow up, she was very professional, informative, attentive and responsive to all of my questions and concerns. I felt comfortable under her care and happy to have found such a great provider for my fibroid surgery.

Im so grateful to my friend who referred me to Dr. Davis and to Dr. Davis for how great I feel today. From my first appointment through my surgery and follow-up, Dr. Davis (no relation) treated me with kindness and respect. She patiently answered all my many questions and those that came from my concerned family members. She guided me in my decision to have the surgery and did such a skillful job that my recovery was much easier than I had anticipated. Since my surgery, I feel like a new woman--or maybe more like the woman I used to be before my health problems!

Dr. Davis deserves nothing less than 5 stars!! She is kind and patient and thorough. She makes me feel valued and listens to everything I have to say. I never feel rushed or that another the next patient is more important. She weighs the pros and cons of all possibilities and had educated me throughout my Endometriosis journey. My favorite thing about Dr Davis is her honesty. She never pretended to have all the answers or gave false hope that surgery would fix everything, but that this was a continuous journey and we would take together! Thank you Dr. Davis!!

Ms. Dr. Ashley Davis MD gave me the best experience ever during my fibroid removal surgery. She had confidence and trust in the Lord to guide her every move to remove the 8 fibroids that I had. If I had to tell someone where or who they could trust to have a fibroid surgery I will most definitely refer them to Ms. Dr. Ashley Davis MD @ Fibroid and Pelvic center of Atlanta, GA great experience.

I had the best, and I mean the best experience with Dr. Davis. I had my Myomectomy on 7/11, and I am so grateful for all she did to help me get there. She was there through all the ups and downs, the insurance hold-ups, answered all questions, and was extremely patient.And for that, I am beyond appreciative for everything. Dr Davis has been taking care of me for over a year. I am so blessed to have her as my doctor. She is personable and knowledgeable. I feel she truly listens and wants the best for my health. I’ve dealt with multiple drs for my health issues. I recommend if you want high quality care, she is it.

I had Diagnostic laparoscopy, surgical treatment of endometriosis, and bilateral salpingectomy on 5/16/22 and Dr. Davis was the best . The whole experience was 5 stars! I wish i could give her more. She and her staff prepared me very well and made sure i understood the procedures i was getting. The day of the surgery she came and talked to me and made sure she answered any questions or concerns i had. I highly recommend her.

Had an emergency cyst that had to be removed and she did an amazing job of helping me. She kept me informed of her schedule availability and made sure that I was taken care of. The surgery was easy and she was very knowledgeable of the steps from beginning to the end. Would recommend her to anyone who is looking to be in safe hands

I am 44 years old and I have suffered with long heavy periods and fibroids since I was in middle school.I have had issues in the past with Uterine fibroids. I had a uterine fibroid embolization done in 2014 by another Doctor Who specializes in uterine fibroids. This surgery stopped my heavy bleeding but it left a lot of scar tissue. So ladies I would not recommend a uterine fibroid embolization for this reason. I decided to get a Laparoscopic hysterectomy leaving my ovaries intact. My surgery was done January 17, 2022 By Dr. Davis. This surgery was the best thing I’ve ever done. Two days after my surgery I did not feel any pain. A few days after that I had a lot of Air pockets in my areas where my uterus was it was painful but it didn’t last long. The surgery was done I had minimal scarring actually the scars are almost gone. I recommend fibroid pelvic wellness center of Peachtree corners Dr. Davis and Dr. Hawkins did an amazing job with me I feel great now my stomach even went down almost instantly. I’ve lost 7 pounds from the surgery.

Dr. Ashley Davis is knowledgeable, kind, and exhibits a great deal of patience. I feel that the most valuable asset that Ashley possesses is her empathy. While Dr. Davis is thorough and precise in her information gathering and documentation, she always takes a moment to look at and assess my body language. This quality of empathy is what moves her to take herself out of work mode of documenting and asking questions to meet me where I am at mentally to further explain, provide reassurance, or simply smile.I truly felt this on the date of my surgery. With the hustle and bustle of pre-op, I hadn’t noticed the brief moment Dr. Davis stepped in and was observing. When she asked if I was ready, I gave a quick and automatic yes. She paused, looked at me, and asked again. Her calm demeanor allowed me to pause and assess my thoughts and feelings before providing her with a yes that was backed by awareness and confidence. I consider Dr. Davis to be a partner in healthcare and I am confident in her desire to provide quality care without compromising my medical preferences.As someone that is highly in tune with personal healthcare, I am proud that my research of the top doctors for my healthcare need led me to Dr. Davis.

Very disappointed with this doctor. She obviously doesn’t put the needs of her patients first. This was my second visit scheduled without seeing her because I had difficulty finding the office on my first visit. Today I was sure to arrive early but the doctor refused to see me because my cycle started and she stated she will be unable to do a Pap so I needed to reschedule.I scheduled the visit for worsening fibroid pain as the chief complaint. Given that I’m having pain and we planned to do an ultrasound in the office today, she could have proceeded with that to address my primary concern, but because she decided she could not do the Pap she refused to see me. She suggested I go to the ER if I was having that much pain. That was rude! I scheduled the visit in advance and my cycle which is irregular started, so I happened to have pain on the day of my visit. I didn’t just show up there unplanned for pain.That was her solution rather than to talk with me and perform the ultrasound or palpate to verify that I have at least one large fibroid contributing to pain. I don’t expect to be dismissed by any doctor and I especially don’t appreciate being dismissed by a black woman who I sought out hoping she would be able to empathize with me, also a black woman. Not to mention I had to take the afternoon off of work. She clearly doesn’t care very much. I’m rating her a 2 because the staff is very professional.

Dr.Davis is an amazing doctor, I was having bleeding with unknown fibroids,endometriosis , and andemitosis for a year before she stepped in and saved my life, I highly recommend her to any woman trying to save their mental and peace of mind , health and be educated on any issues involving the uterus and etc… she’s such a light and joy and definitely will make you comfortable through your overall experience with her. ❤️
