Ill tell you what this place seriously helped me not once not twice but 3x. My very first time I was 17 years old struggling with addiction me being 17 I couldnt get admitted and go on the detox floor with the others. I was on the floor with awhile bunch of old people I had my own room that was the best experience I remember having there. Unfortunately I went back 2 more times after. Unfortunately several of my family members ended up going there also . This place helps you only if you allow them to help . If you go in there with a stank attitude your not gonna get good treatment. Paul & the lady that works with him in the office are very nice people. Not only did they help me they helped my family. It isnt easy living in Philadelphia its what you make of it. I am currently 6 years sober. My sons father is currently in there right now thats what made me write this review I never thought he would get clean every detox he went to he left the next day because of the withdrawal symptoms and being too uncomfortable. He has been in there 7 days as of tomorrow. They are obviously doing something right in there if he is still in there 7 days later without any attempts to leave. I thank you Kensi for helping me my family and now my sons father. If you want it to work it will work . Its not the finest place . Its there to service your needs. Make the best out of it. Seriously

I wouldnt wish this place on my worst enemy. I started at Jefferson which is great and was sent here to finish off my antibiotics and talk about night and day. The food is terrible and they treat you like an animal. The Drs dont listen to what you say and the rooms are filthy. My room has no heat and since the weather has turned it has been freezing cold. This place is an embarrassment to the nursing and Dr professions unlike Jefferson which gave me the best care possible and the Drs there always explained everything and made sure I was comfortable.

IF ANYONE HAS RATED THIS PLACE OVER 1 STAR, I ASSURE YOU THAT IT IS A FAKE REVIEW!!!!! Dr. Zaheer Chaudry (of the dental apartment) is extremely disrespectful. He did not care to even read my referral from the Perio Group and wanted me x-rayed and examined regardless (the more work they do, the more they can charge you)! The mouth piece of their x-ray machine is stained and they offer NO plastic covering (employee told me they have not been funded and whispered they did not even have mouthwash! When I asked for my genuine concerns to be addressed (he kept ignoring my questions and instead talked about how he wanted to extract 4 of my wisdom teeth), he responded by saying I can take my opinions and talk to my friends about them later. I was so shocked to be treated this way by a SUPPOSEDLY professional dentist, I did not even know how to respond. In addition to this, he continually cut me off and said things like keyword, which disrespectfully implied he did not feel I was intelligent enough to be spoken to like a regular person. I did not know I could leave until ANOTHER employee INSISTED that I go home in response to the constant disrespect.THE FIRST RED FLAG WAS THE FACT THAT THE HOSPITAL LITERALLY LOOKED LIKE AN APARTMENT BUILDING. DONT COME HERE EVEN IF YOU FEEL LIKE THIS IS YOUR ONLY OPTION. How the heck is this place NOT closed down?PLEASE trust this review before going. I have NO reason to lie. That doctor is crazy and NEEDS to be fired. They also said they were booked throughout the week, yet all of their rooms were empty; I was the only patient there.

My daughter had a Dental Emergency and the Professional ladies in the front desk, at Kensington Hospital were Great! Broke everything down my daughter was able to get seen as a walk in at 9:00am...the fees were lower then all the other Dental Clinics fees, we called:( Kensington Hospital has been around for ever!!!! It’s not the Greatest looking BUT THE STAFF IS LIKE FAMILY TO OLD AND NEW PATIENTS:)❤️They are located in a multi Racial Community and yes you might experience broken English from some of the staff BUT THEY ARE VERY HELPFUL AND THEY MAKE SURE ALL RESOURCES INFORMATION ARE AVAILABLE TO THE PATIENT👍🏼Thank God for Facilities like Kensington Hospital🙌🏻 Kensington Hospital Care about their Patients and that alone makes the Patient feel at ease, like you are in the right place👍🏼 Continue the Great work Guys❤️

It did its job of being just a straight-up Kensington detox from dope. No frills...come in get your methadone..sleep and switch channels between Ancient Aliens and Law and Order...give away half your cigs...whatever. if you were there like me under a PA welfare health plan , and this is just my opinion, you got/get reprieve from the horror of opiate withdrawl..FOR FREE...I LOVED IT CAUSE THEY LEFT ME ALONE AND LET ME JUST SLEEP..FOR FOUR DAYS...so yeah it was old and ugly and stuff was falling apart but it did its advertisedone job...no lirs.no gimmicks..and no B.S

This hosp has stigma of addiction issues only, but I found its more than that now with the addition of Internal medicine Dr Nand Ram and fierce nurse Mrs . Marisol in the medical clinic mornings. The front desk staff seem new to the rodeo but Dr RAM & Mrs Marisol class up the place 💯 Give this historical facility a chance 👍
