Princeton Urogynecology

Looks to be a money minded organization. Doesnt care about its patients. The receptionist is rude and doesnot have nay manners. There is no sense of service here - beware.

I have seen Dr. Van Raalte over the past few years relating to an issue from childbirth. The doctor herself is wonderful (thats why Im giving 3 stars instead of 1). The office however is a nightmare. I saw the doctor at the end of October when she told me her nurse would contact me to schedule a procedure. From that point until the beginning of January, I would call every 2 weeks with no response from the office. I was transferred from voicemail to voicemail. The office manager said shed personally call me and never did. Nobody ever bothered to contact me to give me any information about this procedure thats supposed to be just a quick 15 minute in-office appt.Fast forward to January (2.5 months after my visit) and I get a voicemail telling me they can schedule me the following week. I call back and no response and nobody knows who I should talk to. The next day I call back again. Finally I speak to someone and start asking questions about the procedure, and what preparation I need, and asking why nobody has bothered to call me up until that point. Stephanie (I guess the clinical care coordinator) jumps into the call and starts yelling at me to calm down. She kept speaking over me to calm down over and over. So rude and dismissive considering nobody had bothered to speak to me for 2.5 months and then the moment I express my upset Im told to chill out. She then said its not her fault because shes the only person who does these appts and she was overwhelmed with the scheduling over the past few months.I did calm down because I know my options for this procedure locally are limited. So we scheduled for the date they had available which is today, January 19th. Yesterday I received a call asking if I could come in within the hour for the procedure since they werent sure with the snow if it could happen the next day. I explained that no I didnt have childcare and couldnt just show up right away. They said that was fine, they understood. Nobody mentioned that if I didnt get there that day, the next appt would be 5 months away.Today they called me to say they were closing early. Understandable I guess for the inch of snow on the road. Next available appt is May 6th. Ive already been on antibiotics in preparation for this procedure as well (oh yeah something else nobody mentioned until they called in the RX on Wednesday). I told them at this point I would find somewhere else. Its a shame because Dr. Van Raalte was nothing but great (as was Andrea Barker), but the lack of reasonable communication over almost 3 months, not to mention rude and dismissive treatment from the office staff is just not worth it. Ill take my calm self to a doctors office who actually cares to communicate with their patients and who isnt too overwhelmed by their job.

As someone dealing with several confusing medical conditions, I dread going to doctors offices. I never write google reviews, however, the staff and medical team (from the front desk to the PA to the doctors) at Princeton Urogyno have been nothing but welcoming and warm, and Dr. Wang is very compassionate and formulates treatment plans that are age appropriate and conservative. Highly recommend Dr. Wang and this practice.

Always the best experience with Dr Van Raalte. She never makes you feel rushed and does her best to listen to and answer every question. I have recommended her many times to friends. Even though it may take awhile for an appointment she is more than worth the he wait!! The front desk is also fantastic but what would you expect from this top notch practice.

I had surgery last June Dr. van Raalte went over all the options. The office was fantastic in setting everything up. The surgery went fantastic and follow up by the doctor and office was great. It is a year later and my annual follow up. I am so glad I had the surgery. I am walking 5 miles a day and feeling fantastic.

Dr. Van Raalte and her staff could not be any more efficient or kinder. My appointments have been on- time. Their surgery scheduling is a well-oiled machine. All follow-up appointments are booked upon scheduling surgery. All information you need is given to you well in advance. Its incredibly easy to reach them via telephone. Dr. Van Raalte is very easy to talk to. I feel like Ive known her for years. She is kind, compassionate and has a wonderful smile and sense of humor that will put anyone at ease. I am very particular about doctors. I travel out of state to see my primary doctors. Dr. Van Raalte is one of the doctors Im so comfortable with, I would travel to her if I had to. You couldnt make a better choice.

I cannot thank Dr. Heather Van Raalte enough for her kind, compassionate care during my time of need. She and her staff have been there for me throughout my prolapse issues and ultimate surgery. Dr. Van Rialto is top in her field. I feel very comfortable in her care.

Dr VanRaalte was both informative, knowledgeable and compassionate. She took time to answer all my questions and explain my options. I recently had to visit Princeton Urogynecology and I couldnt have been more pleased with Dr. Heather van Raalte and her staff. The office is sharp and in a location not hard to find. She was very thorough and explain and showed me diagrams of the procedure. She definitely took her time and answered every question I had in detail. She was truly made me feel very comfortable! This was my first visit to this office; the directions to the office were very clear and the office was easy to find. The staff; from the receptionists, the nurses, the billing department and the doctor were all very nice and discreet. I felt comfortable talking about all the issues that were bothering me, and I was offered choices about what I could do, and expectations about how those solutions would work out. The doctor was very patient, and explained all my options, thoroughly. I was given literature that had illustrations about MY issues. I’ll be going back in two months to check on progress, which is great. I got a referral for physical therapy, which is something I’ve been interested in trying, and some new meds. I feel hopeful, informed and motivated rather than helpless and uninformed.I highly recommend this practice.

Dr. Van Raalte is wonderful! She does not rush you as her utmost concern is your comfort. She also takes you through each step of the process which helped put my mind at ease. She is the best!! The staff are also very pleasant!!

I just had my first surgery at the age of 60. I was very nervous about it and wasnt looking forward to it at all. I was recommended to Dr. Heather Van Raalte at Princeton Urogynecology. The staff there was very pleasant and most helpful. I felt very comfortable there, like one of the family. I was never left hanging and someone always got back to me when the need arose. When it came to diagnostic testing I never felt the least bit uncomfortable. Dr. Van Raalte spends the right amount of time explaining your options and during my consult visit she holds nothing back and is very honest about the surgery. I find Dr. Van Raalte to be a very confident doctor which put me at ease. Dr. Van Raaltes surgical team was incredible and extraordinary. I cannot recommend Princeton Urogynecology enough.

Dr Van Raalte and her PA Andrea Barker are top notch. Staff is friendly and professional. The only negatives that I have are that their office hours are not convenient for people that work. Also, they seem to always be behind schedule. They apologize for running late but it is consistent. My appointment is the last one of the day but I never feel like I’m being rushed out.I have recommended her to other friends and family that needed this specialist.

I have been a patient of Dr. Van Raalte’s since 2012, and I consider her to be a great medical find! I am always impressed with how clearly and patiently she explains the nature of my uro-gynecological issues and how skillfully (as both diagnostician and as surgeon) she treats those issues. All staff are friendly and professional. Dr. Van Raalt has an extraordinary bed side manner. She is thorough, knowledgeable and gives practical advice that empowers the patient with strategies for self care.

I was very leased. It was easy to the office- someone answered my questions right away. When I arrived at the office they took me right away. They explained everything to me very well. I met with Dr. Van Raalte for a post-op visit. I am thankful to have found her to meet my needs for pelvic organ prolapse. This office is professional and understanding of the difficulty associated with our personal needs. She came recommended by my POP physical therapist at Atlantic Physical Therapy.

From the moment you walk into this office is all a good experience. The doctors are awesome. I had 2 different types of surgeries many years apart, one with Dr. VanRaalt, and Dr. Bhatia, and all I can say I felt very comfortable doing both procedures with them because both of the doctors are ready to answer any of your questions and explain in detail the procedure that’s gonna be done, they give you this comfort feeling, so you can be ready to go in the operating room ready for the procedures. The Physicians Assitant that stopped by to see me in the hospital were awesome, and the one who I saw at the office Andrea was awesome. I pray I won’t need anymore surgeries, but if anything is to happen again, where I would need surgery again, I would not hesitate to go see them again and be treated by any of the doctors, that I can say I doTRUST!!!!

Dr Van Raalte was very thorough and made sure that I understood all of my options and the procedure that would be best for me. She asked if I had any questions and gave me all the time that I needed to make me feel comfortable with our plan of treatment.

I was very nervous, but the staff were incredibly reassuring, calm, and compassionate. Dr. van Raalte was fantastic at explaining exactly what she found and her recommendations. I wish every medical practice were like this one!

I like that the wait in the office was not too long. Also I have confidence in Dr. Van Raalte. What I would have liked and didn’t get was a typed summary of my visit with her. For instance how often I should use my medication, etc., and instructions. I’m 81 years old so sometimes I forget.

The receptionist and nurses are welcoming, sensitive and caring. I was examined by Dr. Bhatia whose compassion, knowledge and communication skills are reassuring. I felt understood and supported in my desire to know what is happening to MY body. I received care as an individual: this is not a one-size fits all approach to health care. That is greatly admired and appreciated

All my paper work was sent to me before my appointment, so when i arrived they took me right in, took my temperature, blood pressure and told me to undress. Dr. Barker came right in and i felt comfortable from the start. She listened, explained and i felt spoken to not spoken at. I listened to what she had to say and will be trying what she said. Thank you for the advice Andrea Barker.

Cant recommend this practice enough. Everyone there is professional, knowledgeable and caring. Ive had several procedures done in the hospital as well as in the office. Clearly, I am confident in the care I received to go back again and again. Have recommended the practice to my friends.

Friendly, very professional. Dr vanRaalte explained everything thoroughly, but don’t cancel a procedure for ANY reason, as it has been three months, and I can’t get a rescheduled date. Friendliness seems to be absent. I’m hopeful, though, as Dr. VanRaalte seems to be the only game in town.

Dr. Van Raultt is a great doctor and lady.She did my surgery for pelvic floor lift. Dr. Bhatia and her staff are wonderful. They communicate effectively, make you feel comfortable, and understand how difficult post-babies can be. I have been pleased with the care I have received. The doctors and nurses here see you as a human, not as a number. Dr. Bhatia was the 2nd physician I saw about my condition, and she agreed with the first diagnosis.

Good experience there everybody was pretty friendly. My only complaint would be that if you have to make an appointment 3 to 4 months out they send a reminder that you need to bring 14 pages of paperwork with you. They almost made me reschedule my appointment cuz I didnt have the proper paperwork. But they were able to let me in and I got the paperwork finished.

Dr. Heather vanRaalte and her staff are very professional , friendly and caring! I do not feel rushed during my appointments. I highly recommend this practice without any reservations!

Very rude and unprofessional Staff. .. my wife set appointment there 4 months in Advanced. she went at location at least 25 minutes early to fill up paper work. Staff refused to give paperwork initially. they gave it after 10 mins and my wife returned all filled paperwork before appointment time , still staff refused to take her since she did not had paperwork before came in to office. .. what a horrible customer services. ...

Quick clean, uber considerate and kind. They made everything as easy as.possible. they too into consideration my special needs schedule and worked with in those parameters. Im so glad Dr. Phelps referred me to them. Fabulous.

Princeton Urogynecology is an efficiently coordinated and excellently staffed operation. The receptionists, nurses and P.A.s are caring and helpful. Dr. Heather van Raalte is one of the best physicians I have encountered in the field of womens health care. She is thorough and listens to her patients concerns. Dr. van Raalte does an excellent examination and spends time afterwards explaining your options for treatment. On a personal level, she is both kind and understanding. She is a Doctor who treats her patients with expertise and concern.

Dr. Bhatia is the best. She is an excellent doctor and cares about her patients. She is a good listener and never makes you feel rushed. The staff is friendly and professional.

Bad service. Couldnt make an appointment. I left 4 messages, one time a secretary called and said, that my insurance doesnt work, but that is not true. I even called to my Insurance double checked, everything works. I called back a few times later, left messages but nobody never called me back. Nobody picks up the phone.It is very frustrating and unprofessional.

I’m 2 weeks postoperative pelvic floor surgical repair and urethral sling. I can’t express how happy I am with my results. I experienced minimal pain or discomfort and everything “down there” is functioning like a 30 year old😁
