Very difficult to work with. Nobody talks to each other within the different departments. The ball has been dropped more than once in our experience here. From an issue with my name to them running our information through the wrong insurance. Everytime we turn around there is another delay in the process due to the mistakes and issues of the office. Extremely unorganized and a lot of stress placed on the patient. This experience has been extremely disappointing and discouraging. If we weren’t as far as we are in the process we’d go elsewhere. It seems as if this office is brand new and nobody knows what they’re doing. We have friends going through the same process in MA and their experience has been informative, positive and simple. The total opposite of ours. Very unfortunate that with such a sensitive situation this is the experience we have had.

Was with Boston IVF for 2 years.. We are finally parents and I will be forever grateful for that BUT I would not recommend the Providence location. The new facility is nice but only half of the staff seem to care about the patients going through extremely sensitive times. I did have great interactions with the Waltham location and would recommend that office over Providence.

I felt so comforted in a very stressful time. I was so nervous going into the appointment and when I walked in I was met by the receptionist and she was so nice and made me feel better instantly. Dr Frishman called me and my partner in and from the very beginning I felt like I was in good hands. Nothing but positives came from my appointment

Received blood work at the Providence location and an ultrasound. No follow up with doctor, nothing other than a phone call about which pharmacy they should send my medication to and when I called back, absolutely no response. That was nearly 3 weeks ago. There was also zero response to my significant other trying to make an appointment for things on his end. Im not sure if any reputable fertility clinic would operate like this. Not to mention the phlebotomist on staff that day was really rude.

Good luck trying to get anyone on the phone . They send you right to voicemail and then you have to wait by your phone while you’re at work all day long. If you miss their call you get to call and leave a voicemail again. I’ve waited days to get called back. It’s the worst game of phone tag I’ve ever played. Had false tests from their lab that set me back a month and now I can’t even get a phone call back to discuss. Oh and they don’t have room for me to do one of their mandatory procedures at their clinic so they are sending me to another place? The doctor that I met once is nice but otherwise I’ve been completely stressed out from lack of communication.Update-I have moved to Women and Infants Fertility and they have been amazing. Save yourself the months of horrible treatment and go somewhere other than the providence location. Boston IVF told me I needed an HyCoSy procedure before continuing , they outsourced me and booked me at the hospital for this and did NOT tell me they signed me up for a different and way more painful procedure. Didn’t realize until I was already getting it done. A true NIGHTMARE! (specifically Kristen their Admin, who later wrote in an email she was “sorry” if she forgot to tell me I was booked for a different procedure! ) Oh and no one has called me back to discuss any of this and it’s been 3 weeks…Beware !

I have to say some experiences are good, but they only care about getting their money right away. You cant do a payment plan and still be getting services. No one answers the phone it goes right to the answering machine, and if you missed the call, forget. It is a nightmare to get appointments with the doctor it self they dont have open availability for you. It feels so incredibly not personal, like the doctors could care less if you get pregnant. They dont offer help with bills or have programs for people like us wasting lots of money on insurance and trying to keep up with all the payments. Sometimes I feel like they rush to tigger me, and I think we could have waited a day. I would much rather see my follices at like an 18 or 20 before we rush. Most times, Ive triggered most of my follices are only a 17 or 18 . Theyre not open to some things others doctors do in other countries that have had Previous success. I have already gone through 3 IUIs and just feel like if maybe they gave it one more day or two2 I might be pregnant right now. I couldnt stop crying today knowing that this IUI failed again. Some staff are very friendly but others dont even care. I really want to hope that things change in the future with this place and they start caring more about the Patients and get more programs to help with assistance with payment help. The emotional stress on the body and the toll of everything gets you really depressed. The positive thing about this place is that they are open on weekends and usually pretty quick if you come in earlier. Like I said before, some staff is super nice while others treat you like another number. They have lots of things to work on and hopefully improve to work with the people who choose them. Everyone has to remember if it wasnt for you going their and paying for your insurance they wouldnt even be open. So, as much as we need them, they need us too. So the communication between staff and clients should be closer and more respected. I also believe if you dont have insurance, then they should treat you better. When I was self pay, they acted like they didnt want to help me at all. I had an awful experience with that. So if you dont have insurance, beware before you come here. Theyre very nice if you pay your bills on time and have insurance that cost $700 a month plus the bills they charge you. Hopefully, my future experiences with this place will be much better. 🙏I am truly praying for a miracle to happen because I have almost given up all hope of having a baby. My husband has no children, and I have PCOS but have one child that is 21. I was super young and super skinny when I had her. So Im pretty positive that is what played the role in her. I have had a leap procedure and am so worried that it will never happen for my husband and I. I find the perfect guy, and Im struggling to have the perfect family with him. Wishing so much, they work more with people and get better programs to help. 😇👼🙏

Such a great start to the process. We had some technical issues and they were willing to work with us regardless. Super excited to start the journey with Boston IVF!

I tried to call and make an appointment but found the receptionist to be incredibly rude - like I was wasting her time. She insisted that I give her my husband’s SSN to “prove” I have insurance. I expressed that I would not give it (and legally I don’t have too), but happy to send her picture of the card so they can verify my insurance prior to my appointment, or better yet bring my card to my appointment. She kept interrupting me asking if the SSN was on the insurance card. I expressed no, they don’t do that for legality reasons, to which she continued to interrupt me saying she could not make me an appointment without the SSN to “prove I have insurance”. For anyone just starting off in the fertility world, insurance almost never covers treatments, all of mine have been out of pocket; so a lack of insurance should not be a deterrent for a new client. I need a new clinic because I am moving across the country. It’s a shame because I truly do need IVF, I have no tubes. However, the receptionist wouldn’t listen and was very pushy. If this is how I’ll be treated for trying to schedule my initial consult, I’ll be seeking my services elsewhere.

So far they have not done anything for my husband and I. I was seeing a different doctor before, but we started like 2 years ago. And all we have done is the same bloodwork and Seman Analysis test over and over and over again!!! They never move on to the steps to get you to try to have a baby. I am getting very frustrated and might give up trying. Because I am becoming very depressed..

Started going to Boston IVF and everyone has been so kind and helpful. Had to get some blood work and ultrasound done and I just wish I was able to have my husband in the same room. I don’t know if it’s because of Covid or other policies but it would be nice to have my husband there in the rooms for moral support.

Just with our first visit I am feeling hopeful. The dr was caring and understanding while providing the facts. The women at the office are beyond the kindest on the phone. They take the time to explain each step and what to expect.

Hopefully people get my reference but if you have watched Schitts Creek then you know the iconic scene where Patrick sings to David “you’re simply the best” well if I could I’d serenade BIVF Providence location every single day with this song because I truly can not thank them enough! Background I’ve dealt with “unexplained” infertility for 3 almost 4 years! I went to a very well known clinic before BIVF and they couldn’t explain anything, never had answers, I never spoke to my doctor and had a different nurse with different instructions all the time. We pay out of pocket, insurance doesn’t cover so leaving a clinic with no success and no answers was crushing! When I finally felt like I was ready to give it ONE more try my husband and I decided to go with BIVF. It was night and day! Dr. Luzzo is so kind, listened to every one of my concerns and finally was able to get me a diagnosis. Nurse Wendy always called me back, always got me instructions and always had my back! Heidi the ultrasound tech is truly a ray of sunshine on your toughest days, she always always made me feel comfortable and reassured. Chrystal the phlebotomist is a gem! I try not to have favorites but Chrystal was my favorite face to see. Taylor the receptionist is kind and understanding and the best reassurer ever! I don’t think I have anything bad to say about this place minus the people who do the payments but that has nothing to do with this review. Dr. Luzzo and her team finally got me our miracle, currently 7 weeks and officially graduated from the clinic. I was nervous coming here once I saw the reviews but their knowledge, kindness and overall amazing staff made IVF this time a breeze. We have been trying for 4 years and 3 months (not that I was counting) and never ever in our journey had answers or success until we came here. Thank you BIVF and the providence team for making our dream come true. Thanking you doesn’t seem like enough of a way to show how much Kyle and I appreciate you and all you did. I will leave you with this thought, while infertility is frustrating and crushing remember the staff you see who are trying to help you are people too and have a ton of patients and a little bit of kindness and understanding go a long ways!
