Fast, free, discrete and super kind. The staff here is very helpful and informative. To be honest, the facility is kind of out of the way for me and the location isnt quite a 5 star clinic with $500 an hour doctors, but its pretty good considering its completely free. They also have lots of methods for getting a van in your area for mobile testing in your own area which is very helpful if you cant get here.

Impossible to get in with new COVID restrictions. I understand not allowing people to have walk-in testing at this time but no one answers the phone when you try to call for an appointment and no one has returned my call either. Its really sad that this place is supposed to serve the community in an essential way and the employees are failing to do their jobs. Luckily, I have the opportunity to go elsewhere but that is not true for everyone. SAAF is totally failing the San Antonio population that needs them.

I cannot say enough good things about this place. I went in for an HIV/Syphlis test (neg on both, thankfully), but had I been positive for either I have no doubt the wonderful lady I delt it (initials, AD) would have led me thru the process of getting well in a caring way. Everyone was pleasant and relaxed and it made me relaxed. It’s never pleasant to be tested for a potentially life altering (but not out) outcome. It can happen to any of us. San Antonio is blessed with an institution that cares about gay people or frankly anyone who is potentially infected with HIV. I have many wonderful friends living full free lives with HIV, it’s no longer a death sentence. I’ll continue to use the clinic for regular check ups. Thank you AD and everyone else at this caring clinic.

There is a sign on the door that says the office will open at 10 Am on 02-03-2022. I was first there at 10am there was a red car parked out side. I left and came back at 1045 still they was not opened and the red car was gone. If you was going to be closed and not open at then you should and said we will be closed all day on 02-03-22.
