I am so grateful to have found Dr. Houmam Al-Hakeem, Midwife Dianna, and their incredible staff. Back in 2021, during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, I was pregnant and searched for the best doctors near me. Dr. Al-Hakeems office came up, and I decided to give it a try—I dont regret it one bit. This is my third pregnancy, but my second one being treated by them. Although this pregnancy has been challenging, they have explained everything so thoroughly, and the emotional support they provide is exceptional. I genuinely feel like Im at home whenever I visit their office.The front staff is always welcoming with a smile, and the office is consistently clean and organized. Each nurse is loving, caring, and patient, as is the phlebotomist. I am incredibly thankful that God put them in my path, and I highly recommend their practice to anyone in need of compassionate and professional care.

Booking an appointment is very easy, online. Parking is a bit crazy because of the construction but managed fine. I wasn’t asked to come an hour early for paperwork, as most doctors do. The intake was quick and easy. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Dr. Al-Hakeem was very nice and personable. He made me feel comfortable and I felt gave me the opportunity to ask questions if need be without feeling rushed. The practice is 5+ stars! Thank you!

Both times that I have been to this clinic I have had to wait over two hours to be seen. Once the doctor finally came in he talked to me for maybe 2 mins. My husband and I both left feeling rushed and it seemed like the doctor was uninterested in our situation. No compassion shown for what we are going through.Also, both times that a prescription was sent over to the pharmacy, they’ve sent over a different dose than what the doctor told me in the clinic which causes me to have to call back and wait for a response as to the correct dosage.The nurses, front staff, and ultrasound tech have all been very sweet.

I had surgery with Dr Al-Hakeem on July 31st. Procedure was a full hysterectomy. He never came out and spoke to my husband after the procedure and never called. My prescription was sent to the wrong pharmacy. I tried calling the office right after surgery several times and was told all they could do is take a message. 3 1/2 Hrs after being released I had to go to the office to get it figured out and fixed. I was told to call the office and schedule my 1 week follow up and I called and left 4 messages with no returned calls. So I went to the office on Friday morning to be able to schedule my appt. When I had my 1 week follow up I waited in the room for over an hr then they come in and say the dr is unavailable because there was an emergency c section. OK things happen so I saw Dr. Brown, she went over what they did during surgery but did not have my pathology results back and said to schedule a telehealth appointment for a week later. My appointment was at 4 pm and I logged on 10 mins prior to my appointment as directed. 25 Mins after my appointment time I called the office to ask if there was an issue regarding my appointment. After being on hold for 10 mins they come back on the line and said that Dr. Brown had an emergency surgery and was not available. She said there was another Dr in the office but had patients and world call me later today. Well its 7:30 PM and no call from anyone. I bet I will have to go back to the office if I want my results. The phones only go to an answering service they could care less about anything. This office has no follow up skills at all. So answering service doesnt care nether does the office & Staff. This is very unacceptable for patients that pay for a service that only get 10% effort from staff.

My 1st time seeing Dr Hakeem and it was the best visit. He was very good at explaining things and gave me a good plan to start with my issue that I have going on. Thank you Dr . Definitely recommend

Very disappointed. I went in at 8am this morning. Thought my prescription would be ready by this afternoon. Just to find out that they never sent my prescriber pre authorization for my meds. I called them around 3 to ask what is going on, when you can’t get thru to anyone, but finally I did and gave them the number which my prescriber gave me and stated all we need them to do is call us and we’ll approve it and nothing. Very disappointed in the way they handle there patients

Dr. Al-Hakeem is fantastic! He explains everything very well and answers all your questions. He delivered my baby C-section and has been very helpful with my postpartum care. The whole team is amazing.

I am very upset with the communication processes of this medical practice. I needed X-rays done and the front desk failed to see that notated on my initial check out slip. So I waited two weeks in pain and finally called the front desk to be told no I only saw a follow up appointment. I asked her please to check my initial check out slip and when she did she apologized and sent out that referral where I waited another 2 weeks and finally called the front desk and they said well we sent it out I am not sure what’s happening. So she gave me the phone number to call them myself. I called the imaging center which mind you is located one building away literally a ten minute walk very frustrating. Anyways I called them and they said oh yes we have your referral and you don’t set appointments you just do a walk in. I was furious I had been in pain for weeks already waiting on the provider and the lack of communication that my provider couldn’t have told me it’s a walk in basis and no need to wait. Anyways I do my walk in the very next day for my X-rays and the imaging center says they will have results with 24-48 hours. So I figured by Friday my results would be in. I called on Thursday and the front desk explains they never received anything. The following week I had an appointment with my provider so I proceeded to ask about my X-ray results again to which they explain they never received it. So they tell me to make a telehealth appointment with the provider and they will have received my results and will explain them. So I make an appointment the next day and the doctor says he never received anything and ends the appointment. I call the front desk and they say I can provide my id and sign a release waiver and pick up my xray results in person. Furious that they were no help and I had to pick up my own results, I called the imaging center and verified that the instructions given to me were correct. The imaging center said yes and so that day I picked up my results and unfortunately the providers office was closed so I made another telehealth appointment for Monday. I was instructed on Monday to email my own X-ray results to the provider so that he can explain them to me. This was a horrible experience and the lack of communication they have truly wasted my time. I will not be going back to this office anymore.

Ladies if you value your time please don’t waste your time here. I went in to get back on medication and for blood draw and I spend almost 4 hours there. The dr is great but his staff, hate their job and will purposely forget you if you. At 2 hours I went and asked my nurse Diana how much longer for blood draw and she seemed upset that I was even asking her.4 hours for blood draw, finally left and went to pick up my medication and none of the medications but one was send over. This is not the first time, and if you value your time this is not place. I spend a total of 10 minutes with the doctor and the rest waiting.

We have been coming here since my wife first got pregnant which was in January 2022. Since then they have grown to where they can’t handle all their patients. Before you could call the front desk now you are routed to a call center. In addition to being seen we had an appointment scheduled for 2pm showed up 10 minutes early it is now 4:31 and they close at 5pm and we are still in the doctors office waiting to discuss ultrasound results.

Waited 2 hours to be seen for 5 minutes by a doctor that I did not request and that did not help me. I obviously am requesting an appointment to get checked and absolutely nothing but a pregnancy test was done for me. None of my concerns were addressed and the doctor did not listen to my concerns.

Very friendly staff. The midwife who performed my pap was nice and personable and made me feel very comfortable.

Fabulous staff, clean office, wonderful physician. Happy, clean environment. Will definitely see this doctor again.

Organized and friendly staff. The Dr saw me in no time, he took the time to hear my concerns and scheduled me for a follow-up appointment on the spot. I highly recommend Dr. Hakeem and his staff.

Their turn around time for call backs is actually HORRIBLE. I have been trying to get a refill on my prescription for a week. They dont even return the request from the pharmacy. They have a new answering system that has specialist answering their calls for them, they have you leave a message, and they say the office will return your call shortly. Well...7 messages and a week later, I still dont have my call back or my prescription.

They were so kind and understanding and patient w myself and my two children I needed to bring to the appt! Just relocated here and Im lucky to have found this practice.

The staff there are so kind and courteous! I felt very comfortable and didnt wait long at all!

If you like wasting 3 hours of your life and still not seeing the doctor, this place is for you. I hope they all get bedbugs.

Highly recommend this clinic. The nurses and Diana (the midwife) were phenomenal. Finally bumped into people that cared. Great service, fast and the clinic was clean!!

This office is perfect. The staff were kind and understanding with my medical trauma. They took things at my pace and were informative of any questions I had. I can’t believe I didn’t have any issues while here and they were quick to get us in. Dr. Al-Hakeem was awesome and genuinely cared about the issues I had addressed.

Honestly... There are no words to express my gratitude for Dr. Hakeems office. I went through A LOT of treatment to get to where I am now, and my pregnancy (especially early on) came with A LOT of anxiety that I had a very difficult time controlling. His office was more than willing to see me weekly for heartbeat checks to help ease my mind. They are overly accommodating with appointment times. I can call and ask for an appointment at any time (almost) and they can usually make it happen. Dr Hakeem is so patient and understanding, but also very straight forward, and doesnt sugar coat things, which I appreciate. The midwives in his office are amazing. I have seen all of them (I believe). Diana has comforted me in so many ways and there isnt a single visit that I dont get a hug from her... I couldnt even begin to list the many ways she has helped me through this process. Everyone in the office remembers me by name (and they are a HUGE practice). When I call, the young lady up front knows me immediately, and is so sweet. The only person I have ever had an issue with was the billing specialist, and in the end... I never heard back from her, but thats just one bad apple, and she wont ruin my feelings about everything else thats amazing in this office. I am just so thankful. I still have a little ways to go before my little guy is here, but I am hopeful (and confident) Dr Hakeems office is going to help me bring my little miracle to earth side.

Very very disappointed all around. first of all, my appointment time was at 8:20. i got to there at 8:10 and then struggled to locate it because i failed to realize it was inside one of the three christus buildings. i tried my best to locate it without bothering anyone. at 8:22, i called the clinic because i just could not find it. the lady i spoke to was completely clueless on the layout of the facility and just told me to find medical plaza 2 basically. understandable, i don’t expect her to know the entire layout of buildings she doesn’t work in, just maybe in the future a heads up when making the appointment that it’s difficult to locate. i finally made it there at 8:30. i checked and was told she had a few ahead of me, which i could tell, the waiting room was packed. i understood and had a seat. she called me up a few moments later to discuss payment. she said it wasn’t clear to her what to charge me, whether it was the specialist or the regular copay, so she said she was going to charge me the specialist, which is double the amount i was told when i scheduled the appointment, but i understood and paid the $60 instead of the $30. i sat back down and was not pulled back until 9:15. the woman took me to the back, was very stoic and almost bothered by me. i have been in the medical field for 3 years and have never felt the need to be so cold towards a patient. anyways, i drew it up to maybe she’s having a bad day. she asked me a few questions, took my blood pressure and weight, and had me follow her to the restroom to urinate in a cup. she told me if the test was positive, they would take me for an ultrasound but if it was negative, they would put me in a room. this was at about 9:20. she sent me out to the waiting room to wait for the results. at 10:20, i was finally called back and placed in a room. i was in that room until a bit past 11. a female doctor came in, she was very sweet and apologized for the delay. i understand they were busy, but i believe it was self inflicted due to such a heavy booking for that morning. overall, just disappointed. i was there was there for 3 hours just to urinate in a cup and speak to a doctor for less than 10 minutes. $60 for taking a urine pregnancy test that i could’ve taken at home and then a doctor to tell me to come back in 2 weeks (and pay another $60) for them to make me sit for 3 hours and do nothing for me? i think i’ll pass.

My appointment with Dr. Al-Hakeem is hard to put into words. From the moment I entered the office until the moment that I left I was treated with the utmost kindness. The office team was extremely helpful and answered all of my questions. The nurse who checked me in and took my history (Mercy) was soft and sensitive and supported me through the entire office visit. There was a student observer who was also kind and supportive. Dr. Al-Hakeem listened to me share about how I had already been scheduled for a hysterectomy but needed a second opinion on if there were any other options for me. He listened to my history, and he asked me important questions to put the picture together. He shared with me that he needed to do an ultrasound to gather further information. I thought I would be coming back for this but instead was informed that it would be done at this visit. I was moved my the compassion of Dr. Al-Hakeem. Without me even sharing my deep anxiety about a possible major surgery he seemed to know that I needed answers and he made that happen. He himself did the ultrasound and he walked me through the whole procedure explaining everything to me. In the end he shared with me that I had another option that was not major surgery and that a hysterectomy was not needed. When he left the room I cried with relief, and again his wonderful staff (Mercy) supported me. I am so thankful that I found this amazing team!

I personally have not met a doctors office lately that I have felt so good after our encounter. This was my first visit to this office and the physician and midwife actually took the time to explain everything and be very thorough to address any concerns I had. The physician, midwife, nurse and front desk staff were all amazing.

I had 6 appointments in 7 months. Also visited the ER 6 times during that period. The doctor didn’t remember me any of my appointments. Had blood work done and was told I was diabetic. Never mentioned that my endometriosis can cause your insulin levels to be off. Nothing was done for my extremely high cholesterol. One visit to the hospital I was losing so much blood I thought I was having a miscarriage. Doctor didn’t even seem concerned I was going through a super tampon and pad every 45 minutes for days. As I was in an appointment expressing my concern of not being hurt as his patient, he proceeded to answer his cell phone not once but twice during my appointment. As I asked more questions about helping my stage 4 endometriosis, I was advised that a hysterectomy was the only solution. When asked what was the solution for all the endometriosis outside of my female parts be told me that was not his department. Not only was i misdiagnosed by him on several different occasions but proved he was only an endometriosis specialist for infertility not treating endometriosis.There was also another doctor I saw at the same facility that tried to pressure me into a procedure I was uncomfortable with. To the point the nurse asked the doctor to leave the room. The nurse then apologized for the doctor being unprofessional to me.Needless to say I have switched doctors and am finally getting results to the care and treatment my body and disease requires. I would not recommend seeing this facility at ALL!!!

Dr. Al-Hakeem really cares about you and wants to help. I highly recommend! You may have to wait a while, but to me, it’s worth it.

It was nice and the staff is very friendly. But it just took way too long to see me. I was waiting for an hour and a half, got left with the monitor for 20 minutes with no one checking in, and then only talked to the midwives for like 5 minutes. I have to make up the time at work for what I miss and that was just 2 hours at the office not including commute.

New patient here and I must rave about why I gave them 5 stars. From the start to end I felt very comfortable. The reception alone were so sweet, friendly and made sure I had all the info necessary. The Dr, MA and midwife were also friendly, polite, patient... I felt so welcomed and at ease. They listened to my concerns and in turn provided me with detailed information. Im so glad I did my research and found such caring staff. Again, Im a new patient and this review is based on the only appointment Ive had with them. I will see them again in a month. Thank you for making me feel welcomed, comfortable and at ease.

The wait to be seen by the midwife or MD was too long for my 2 appointments.On my first visit I was seen by a midwife and my issue was not resolved and they were not able to see the issue right away.I set another appointment and requested the MD to see me.The wait was 2 hours and the midwife was trying to ask me if Im okay seeing a midwife for my appointment.I insisted to see the doctor because my issue was still unresolved.Gladly i insisted to see the doctor and I was diagnosed correctly. Overall,the front desk staff was nice and the doctor was knowledgeadble. The only issue was the long wait for the appointment.

This is my first time there. The providers were amazing. Just the wait times were ridiculous. Waiting over whole hour before being seen at an updated womens health care facility is slightly overkill. Had to cancel another medical appointment because of this important visit. I will most likely go back as I stated before the providers themselves were kind and not dismissive, which is crucial to me in this field.

I’ve been a client for 6+ years and am always pleased with the experience. My most recent visit was great, I enjoy the efforts each staff makes to be personable. My wait time was not long. My comfort was priority. I went in for a BC removal and was out in a timely manner. A big thank you to all the staff and doctors who continue to provide great customer service and care.

Back in July 2022, Dr. Alhakeem saved my life with a surgery that should of been done months, if not a year before by my previous doctor. One of the many reasons why i switched. Dr. Al-Hakeem and his amazing team saved my life by removing a softball size cist on my ovarie and two smaller tumors on the other. Both were causing an emense amount of pain and other health issues. I cannot thank Dr.Alhakeem and his wonderful staff for all their past and present miracle work. They are truly Earth Healing Angels!💜💖💜I recommend them to anyone and everyone. They are also currently helping me with my severe endometriosis. I actually go in tomorrow to see and approach the issues. Thank you Dr. Alhakeem and Staff! Yall are all heros in my mothers, my family and my eyes! 🌈💜💖💜🌈

I really enjoyed my first visit with Dr. Al-Hakeem, the nurse practitioner and staff. Everyone was welcoming and nice and made me feel safe and comfortable during my visit. They answered all my questions and listened to me and acknowledged what i was saying and helped me understand what they were doing and why my symptoms were happening and what might be causing it. I have seen many doctors due to my medical history and this one was one of my top best experiences. I traveled an hour to get to this doctors appointment and will definitely do it again. I would highly recommend them.

I am completely impressed by the phenomenal customer service provided by the entire staff! Checking in was easy, Dr. Al-Hakeem was very patient and answered all questions and concerns. Thankful that the office staff along with Dr. made me and my husband feel comfortable, safe, and at ease. My husband and I were TTC for almost two years and Dr. Al-Hakeem set up a beautiful plan for us that made it possible. Diana and Brenna are amazing as well, very knowledgeable, supportive, and kind. The entire staff truly cares about the well being of all their patients.

Dr. Al-Hakeem is a trustworthy doctor who truly does his due diligence in reviewing medical charts and making sure his patients are comfortable, have answers, and get all the care and attention needed. He was able to diagnose things other doctors overlooked and truly change my quality of life for the better. Also, all the nurses and staff are extremely kind, patient, and helpful. Kris has been exceptionally helpful during a time that’s been very stressful. 10/10 recommend this doctor and facility.

I have been going to Dr. Al Hakeem since October 2020. The office itself is nice and clean. The midwives have been fantastic. I have only seen the Dr twice as he is only present for ultrasounds and each time has been quick, dry and we receive very little information. This is my first pregnancy and the Dr has done very very little to prepare or inform me of what I should expect going further into the pregnancy and delivery. His presence is distant and quick which will make you feel like an inconvenience. When I had my anatomy scan, it took less than 10 mins, I had no idea what we were looking at, we only heard the heartbeat for 2-3 seconds and the pictures we received were blurry. This has been very frustrating for my husband and I. If you are going into your first pregnancy I would not recommend this Dr but if you are already comfortable with your knowledge and expectations this might be a good fit for you.

Dr. Al-Hakeem is very personable. I became his patient because I was experiencing some unusual symptoms. On my initial visit, I waited quite a long while after my appointment time (45 minutes +) but on my next appointment, I was called in before my scheduled appointment time. On both visits, I felt that Dr. Al-Hakeem listened to me, presented options that may interest me to handle my issue, and advised me on the best course of action. My issue is not yet resolved, but I feel confident in his abilities and expertise to allow him to handle the next phase of my treatment.

I went for annual check up and was pleased with everything.I want to thank the staff and Dr Al-Hakeem for the superior service. I am a first time patient and they made me feel like I was there before. The front desk staff (a very lovely lady) was personable and knowledgeable. She assisted me with scanning my MRI results for Dr Al-Hakeem. The nurse that assisted me in the examination room was fun and nice. The phlebomonsit Ms. Garcia was very nice as well.Dr Al-Hakeem is very diligent and knowledgeable. Additionally very empathetic which is rare these days with some doctors. He was not in a rush and ensured I understood everything. He explained alternative procedures and options that will best fit my needs. Thanks to everyone and I look forward to visiting again.

Today was my first visit at this office, I was VERY nervous. (The staff could probably tell) but every staff/ nurse I met were extremely nice and always told me the next step. The doctor was very nice also. I am very satisfied with this office and cant wait to go again.

Dr. Al Hakeem was very nice. This was my first time meeting him and having care at his office. My only complaint is that there was an abnormally long wait time. I waited about 2 hours before being seen.

Dr Al-Hakeem took the time to explain and listen, knows what hes doing and has a plan of action. Ive seen 2 other drs so far for my condition and they both took a wait and see approach, so I am happy this Dr is running tests to see whats going on. Appointment was also very easy to schedule.The wait was a bit long, but wasnt a concern for me.

I been going to doctor Houmam Al-Hakeem for about 4 years now. He Delivered three of my girls and one on the way. hes a very caring and very considerate doctor. And the nurses that work for him are very wonderful theyre always are nice they always have a smile on their faces. I would recommend this place to my family and friends... This was my first visit to this office. I only came because of abnormal test results identified by my primary care doc. Having had cancer in the past I feared a return of the disease. Both doctor and staff were tremendous at calming my fears and making me feel relaxed...well as relaxed as one can be during a pelvic. Wait time was minimal and all personnel were highly professional. I left knowing I was in good hands. This team knows their business and I certainly learned a lot. I will definitely keep Dr Al Hakeem as my Gynecologist.

Words cannot describe my appreciation for Dr. Al-Hakeem. At first I didn’t know what to expect, even after taking time and researching on making a selection for a new Dr after finding out I was pregnant, and even after my first visit I was still hesitant but Dr. Al-Hakeem has really listened to me as a mother and my needs & has eased my nerves & wants in this pregnancy. I’m currently a little over 7mo pregnant & this has been a tough one to say the least. My first pregnancy was a walk in the park & unfortunately I was not able to go the same route as my first child & that was also hard to deal with but so far I am thankful that I am in th hands of Dr. Al-Hakeem and his team. Knowing I am heard and listened to really means the world, and so comforting!Many thanks to Dr. Al-Hakeem and his team!Just a couple or so more months to go!Wish us luck! (:

To those who dont own masks, make sure you have one before going to your appointment at their office. They do not carry spares to hand out and the pharmacy down the hall has a small box of masks for 13 bucks. Ive been to a few obgyns and this was my first appointment with him. I had a wait time (to be expected anywhere.) But I dont mind waiting as long as I get good quality time with the nurses and doctors. So he genuinely listened to me an my concerns and wants. We created a plan of action and i feel very comfortable with him as my obgyn. Recommend to those with PCOS for sure.

Admittedly, I had to wait a long time for my initial visit. The doctor was in surgery. Considering the situation, the office should have considered asking me to reschedule.That being said, when he arrived, he was polite and listed to my concerns. Even though he still had a busy day.........Received a call a couple weeks later and had to come back. Sadly they didnt take enough sample. they still charge the insurance for the second visit though. Make up at what you will.

Dianna Hagl is the midwife at the Westover Hills Womens Health clinic and she is tremendous! This was my first visit and she stepped in when the doc was tied up unexpectedly because she didnt want to leave me waiting. Im so happy she did! She took the time to listen to my concerns, carefully explained options, performed an exam, and went the extra step of giving me literature regarding an issue someone in my life was dealing with. Her down to earth, easygoing personality made her very relatable. I felt like I was discussing my issue with a close friend who cared. If you have an opportunity to see her, take it! Shes a wonderful person and a knowledgeable midwife.

I absolutely love Dr. Al-Hakeem and his staff. They are thorough, helpful and always very friendly. I actually look forward to my visits! Dr. Al-Hakeem has an excellent bedside manner and listens to all your concerns. Couldn’t ask for a better medical group! Warning- sometimes there’s a long wait, but that is true for ALL OB doctors!

I love doctor alhakeem and his office the nurses and midwifes are great. I actually get to see the doctor and not just his assistant but even when I see the midwifes they are great.They always answer my questions and concerns and they talk to you and explain anything you need as well as give you tips and suggestions to make pregnancy easier. Love this doctor. They always have availability in both offices.Way better than my previous OB.

I was looking for a new doctor since I was having some complications with my pregnancy. I was excited when I saw the reviews for Dr. Al-Hakeem, it seemed like he was exactly what I was looking for in a new doctor. They were able to schedule me in right away , they doctor took time to listen to me & address all my concerns. He did an ultrasound himself to see if my baby was okay. Everything about my experience was great ! He was amazing & he scheduled me to see him in a week because he wanted to closely monitor my daughter. I couldnt be happier with my experience. The nurse was so kind as well , I would definitely recommend this location to anyone looking for a new OBGYN

I am 57 and have used the same PCP for over 30 yrs. But then I had a problem so my PCP told me to find a GYN Specialists. YIKES!!! It was urgent so I had to get an appointment asap. I called around and no one else could see me for 2-3 weeks. This dr.s staff scheduled me an appointment the next day. Yes, there was a wait and I was willing to be patient. I was extremely nervous. HOWEVER, It was a blessing! This Dr. was absolutely Awesome. Very patient and kind, you felt like you were the only patient he had. I had to have surgery and am very pleased with the entire experience. His lobby is packed for that reason! He is Great and I have no problem waiting. You can tell he is very busy but if you want a professional that treats you like you deserve to be treated, this Dr. is it!

Front desk were pleasant. After an emergency delay , I was seen by the Doctor. Very informative, listened to me. And I was out in a timely manner

The midwifes made me feel very comfortable and at home. The doctor went straight to the point and my appointment was about 45 minutes. Im very satisfied with the service and the friendliness. They relieved a lot of my stress:)

Every time I come here I have to wait outside until there is a seat available. Its ridiculous! Being pregnant and having to stand up and wait just to get a seat is crazy to me. The place is small, and there is not enough room for people to bring their entire families. It takes FOREVER & a day for them to finally see you. They really could do better than what they are doing. They could be a lot more organized and considerate. On the flip side, Dr. Houmam is a great doctor and is always patient.

I had a miscarriage back in March. And dr. Hakeem was very calming his explained everything that was going to happen he was very kind and compassionate. I got pregnant again in June and he has been very positive and has been walking me through the steps as I progressed my new pregnancy I love this doctor!!! I would definitely recommend him to anybody who has thinking pregnancy doctors or OBGYNs he is amazing.

Today was my initial consult with Dr. Hakeem and I was very impressed. I was running late to my appointment because I got lost but I was still seen. Not only was I seen but my appointment did not feel rushed. The staff was very helpful and the doctor was companionate and listened attentively to my concerns. I will definitely recommend.

The providers (doctors and midwives) have always been very professional and have great bedside manner. The front desk / scheduling however are not caring or respectful. They’re not helpful and not willing to help get things done. They just push responsibility to someone else (or their other office) and do nothing proactive. There have been 2 scheduling issues in a week, it’s beyond frustrating to rearrange my schedule to do things that should have been done correctly the first time. I’ve been with them over 5 years, I’m not sure what caused so many issues in the office over the past year or so but maybe it’s time to find someone else.

Staff is always friendly & midwives are great as well. Dr. Hakeem is a awesome Dr. I dont mind the wait time cause its honestly no different anywhere else. But honestly even if the wait was a problem I would still wait patiently just because of how amazing the staff is!!

The women that saw me were very professional, kind and thorough. I went in for a new birth control method and they answered all my questions. I also LOVED (coming from a Hispanic catholic woman) that they cater to Arabic speaking families. In a city where that is demographic is not always catered to, it is SO important to be able to serve that marginalized group. Good jobs to the office for being inclusive. Love this place!

The wait is horrific ( which I give them a 4 and not a 5) but the staff is great!!! Everyone is so nice and courteous even the front desk people. The doctor is super friendly and I felt like they took care of me. You can tell they all get along.

Great doctor! My VA doctor made a mistake with my IUD and injured me more then helped. I had to go to urgent care and then the ER from lack of appts to Audie Murphy as well as distance. However this doctor not only finally gave me the answers I seemed but did so kindly. Throughly and patiently. I will be Staying here for sure! Love this doc!

I was very skeptical about meeting with a male ob gyn especially for PCOS. But I was very desperate, and Dr. Al-Hakeem has given me hope and a plan for things to improve. He listened. Took his time in our visit, and even helped clarify alot of questions and concerns had, I wish I had made an appointment sooner.

Worst experience of my life, I am currently pregnant & I was just in the hospital a couple months ago & I ran into a NEW ob that tried to tell me NOTHING was wrong when I know my body & the hospital records were in their system.she’s forcing me to work, when I know there is an issue with me! I hate you see new Ob’s every time, it’s very uncomfortable & I wouldn’t Recommend anyone go there!

I have been going to Dr. Houmam Al-Hakeem for about a year in a half. During which time I have been referred to having a procedure, diagnosing me with a medical concern and guiding me through some worries or concerns. I have received great help from him, the midwife and the staff. Just be aware that at some times for appts there might be a very long wait. Sometimes taking 1-2 hrs to be seen for a short appt. But I’d still wait, because I know that I will be in good hands!

Im still waiting to be called back so I have no comment on the dr but Im leaving this one star review for the check in staff. This is my first time at this facility and I was really excited because of all the positive reviews. My appointment was for 10:10am, I came in 20 mins before my appointment and I waited at the window to speak to someone to make sure I checked in correctly. All she asked me for was my ID and insurance car, I didnt have my insurance card but I did give her my ID and explained that when I called to make my appointment I gave the women on the phone all my insurance information. She said okay Ill hold on to your ID for a minute while I check your insurance and I also informed her that I filled out all the forms yesterday online like I was asked to do. She never once asked me to sign myself in onto the check in sheet. So I sat down. Thinking I would be called up again when she was done. AN HR LATER, I still was not asked to go back nor was I given my ID back so I go to the window to ask how l much longer the wait would be and if I could have my ID. She still hadnt even checked my insurance and was just holding onto my ID. She then told me that she didnt have any record of my forms, so I checked online and for whatever reason all my forms were no longer saved. So I then asked so why have I been waiting an hr to be told this her response was that they had issues with their internet when I first came in and that I hadnt put my name on the check in board. I then reminded her that I checked in with her and she never told me to put my name down. I understand if there are computer issues but to have me wait a whole hr before telling me anything. I honestly wonder how much long I would have waited if I never walked up to the window and asked why I wasnt called back yet. Really bad experience, Im happy I am off today and was able to stick around to be called back. Had I not I wouldnt have been able to see the dr and it would have all been at the fault of this one staff member. She was nice and never rude but I was very upset still that I waited an hr for no reason at all other than someone not keeping up with patients..

The worst experience at this ob. Long waits very disorganized you see a different ob Everytime. and they deny seeing patients the. Women in the front. Can’t even give a courtesy call about not being be able to be seen. Because there lack of confirming medicaid.

So impressed w the availability & friendliness of staff. Clean office & easy appointment scheduling. Dianna is a Nurse Midwife & I cannot say enough great things about her, she’s amazing! She alone gives that office 5 star rating in my opinion.

Comfortable office. Staff is very friendly, helpful and professional. Great bedside manner. Always greeted with a smile and I never feel rushed. I needed a medication called in, after a phone call to the office medication was called into my pharmacy within the hour.

Dr. Al-Hakeem is by far the best OBGYN I have had yet. His staff is polite and respectful. He is very polite. I have PCOS and he has been a Godsent with my condition. Now I am pregnant and he has given me amazing care. I am seen every 2 - 3 weeks due to my age and PCOS. Every visit is fast and efficient and even with that I feel like I get personalized care..

I had my daughter here & I didn’t have a good experience at all the only thing is this sweet nurse named Jennifer delivered my baby not doctor Al-Hakeem , I was told he was supposed too! No one checked my iron ever my iron was so low that after giving birth to my baby I had to have a blood transfusions because of that! I only saw the doctor twice my whole pregnancy . It was very upsetting & I was extremely disappointed I would not go back. I only had two sweet nurses & that’s about it.

I absolutely recommend Dr Al-hakeem and staff. They are very kind and very attentive. They have made me feel very comfortable. Every question that Ive had they have answered with more then just a yes or no. They go into detail and make sure I understand my pregnancy every step of the way. I have not felt intimidated to ask questions or felt pressured by the Dr.

The wait was fairly long but there are A LOT of pregnant women from this quarantine currently and everybody was so nice! The doctor addressed all of my issues in five minutes that my current OBGYN didn’t address in two years. Will be returning for all my needs.

I am currently from laredo (2 hr drive from san antonio) and a had robotics hysterectomy by Dr.Hakeem 1 week ago, I was admitted for 1 day post op and Ive been feeling better with minimal pain as the days go by..Dr Hakeem, Diana and all his staff have been excellent in all aspects of my care..theyre prompt to answer my questions via phone or when Im there in office all the time..they take the time to sit down and talk to me and reassure me when I have any questions or concerns I love them and am forever grateful for all they have done for me and all my health care I definitely give Dr.Hakeems office a 5 star..and would definitely recommend them to anyone seeking obgyn care! Dr. Hakeem decides to do a transvaginal unltrasound during an annual checkup and charged my issuance company $500 for the test and another $400 just having me wait there for almost 2 hours. He doesn’t even remember his patients and he rushes through the conversations. There are so many better doctors out there that actually care about your health. All he cares is about is how much money he can squeeze out of you. Stay away!

I had a horrible HORRIBLE experience here today. This doctor is way over booked. There wasn’t even standing space in his waiting room. I waited for over an hour! In that hour I witnessed other patients leave children unattended, take photos of others in the waiting room and then the best of all, get angry, curse and slam the door against the wall as she stormed out. Disgusting trashy clientele and a clearly greedy doctor who chooses to overbook instead of running his practice like a professional.

Never coming here again. I get a random call from my pharmacy that I need medication , Im confused and was not even aware why I need to take this medication not even a call. So I call Dr hakeems office and they tell me why I needed this Rx. Then they can tell me results after I call myself, about my blood work but not the other half of my results. because for certain labs results I have to go and be charged again just for freaking results just give them to me over the phone with all my other results and Use two patient identifiers. Doesnt even make any sense. I rather go to another doctor who cares. Not just for my money. And who can at least not charge me for just results.

I had to have major surgery. I just looked him up really quick at the nearest gynecologist near me. And I truly thank God that I did. Has the most compassionate caring loving doctor Ive ever known. Not only was he good to me my granddaughter went to him and she just absolutely loved him and he delivered her baby. You couldnt ask for a better doctor.

The Doctor is awesome but his midwife is NoT. She was in a hurry, rude and didn’t tell us anything. The Doctor came back in and explained everything in detail so we were satisfied with the appt.

Excellent experience with staff and Dr. Al-Hakeem. I sought out Dr. Al-Hakeem when I did not get results under my insurance at OB/GYN at SAMMC. I am suffering from a chronic GYN problem, it is still to early to tell but I like what I am hearing. All good so far.

I love Dr. AL-Kaheem hes a really good doctor he listens to your concerns and helps you in everyway possible. I also love the midwives they are so dedicated to there job and they care about every patient. I love that they are VBAC friendly. I totally recommend Dr. AL-Kaheem.

Where to begin, First of all if i could give zero stars I would. I came in for an appointment July 26 initially for a pap smear since i felt like i had a really bad UTI or a yeast infection. Turns out i was also pregnant. I had informed the Dr himself that i needed medication because whichever infection i had was severely uncomfortable for me to handle. he informed me we were changing the visit into a proof of pregnancy visit and that in 2 weeks i will have my pap smear done. He stated that i will had to wait the two weeks to get medication. I told him i didnt think i could wait that long since the irritation has been getting worse. he then said i was too early in my pregnancy to take medication so i had to wait. I didnt argue with him because he is of course the Dr and knows best. Come the 2 weeks it is now Aug 9th and i have my pap smear done but this time it was with the Midwife. she did say she noticed i had an infection and she would send medication in for me right away as soon as she had the results. I was relieved since this is what i have been wanting to hear since my first visit in just. Mind you it is a Friday so i know i would have to wait until Monday to receive the medication. hey its only 2 extra days. WRONG!!!! I work in a clinic and i know for a fact that the blood work labs are open on Saturday so they should have my results Monday morning or afternoon the latest. I called my pharmacy Monday evening and no medications had been sent. so i waited.. I called Tuesday still no medication. So i finally called the office Wednesday to check about the delay. the front desk receptionist was nice but didnt understand my frustration. she said i had to make an appointment since my exam came out abnormal. which i knew was going to happen when i had informed her the midwife said she was going to send in my medication since i am already scheduled on the 30th for my follow up she said there was nothing i could do. there was only one dr doing clinicals and i would have to wait until they are available to look at my results. Mind you i have already been waiting since July 26. I finally just had enough and called a different OBGYN office and informed them of what was going on and i was able to get an appointment set up with them ASAP. I stopped by the new dr office Friday after work with a copy of my results to be told the dr was currently in the hospital delivering and tending to his pts but they will rely the msg to him to see if he could send me medication. let me tell you this! DR Trautmann was in the hospital delivering a child and he WAS able to send me a script for medication the SAME day!!!!!!!!! Something that this clinic was not able to do. it is now Aug 19th and i have yet to receive any type of medication from Dr Al-Hakeem or the Midwife. Very disappointed with this clinic.

Dr Al-Hakeem is the best OB/GYN I have ever met. He LISTENS to your concerns, looks you in the eye and talks TO you. He explains procedures what they are and why he recommends them. He provides thorough exams to make sure everything is okay. If you do not have an OB/GYN, looking to switch to a new doctor I highly recommend Dr Al-Hakeem. He will take care of you and your pregnancy.

How do I keep this short!? Someone give this team a trophy! Seriously! Great Dr! Very professional, easy to voice concerns to, great friendly front desk staff, nice friendly nurses! At my last ob, the nurse didn’t take my blood pressure and just wrote down a random number, and my wait time was alwaysss 1 to 3 hours! Guess what my nurse here went to ask and double check she took my blood pressure ! Thank you! Best of all .... are you ready ! My appt was at 11am. I did get there 15 mins early. When I got in my car to leave it was 11:23!!!! Holy cow right! And that was checking in, weight, blood pressure, past history recap, ultra sound, questions time, solution to my problem, given a prescription, and made a follow up appt! I have no words, crazy right. Obviously I highly recommend.... wish I would of found them sooner seriously.

This place deserves 0 stars!! The office staff is extremely rude to patients and they act like they hate their jobs and their miserable life and pay. Just a horrible experience overall. If you want to experience a positive friendly pregnancy experience I suggest you find a another clinic.

This is my third pregnancy and my first appointment with the Dr went great he made me feel very very comfortable right away and explained everything to detail. Office staff is great even though it’s always busy wait time isn’t too bad.

My first and second appointment were in July of 2021, the male doctor was HORRIBLE, he not only blew off my concerns, he decided to test me for PCOS instead of what I came in for(my IUD) and now I’m still having pain, 6 months later even though he swore it was still in place. He DOESNT LISTEN, AT ALL! Don’t come here if your looking to be taken seriously!

Had the most annoying experience here…Booked an appointment for 11:30 AM and i get a message on the morning of the appointment that it has been moved to 11:05 which wasnt so bad,I got there with my husband by 11:18 due to heavy traffic and change of plans and i was told the doctor left for surgery and he won’t be back till 3 hours..I wasn’t given any prior notice or anything..Wasted my time and energy running down there and the lady at front desk acted like it was a normal thing like I deserved it..If you value your time and energy,don’t go there!

I’ve only see the doctor twice for like 5 minutes each time, and the ultrasounds I’ve had are terrible last time one of the mid wife’s said we’ll do an ultrasound next visit. So I went for that appointment waited forever, they put me on a machine to monitor baby’s movement and heart rate came into the room asked if I had any questions. Then told me I was good to go, when I asked her what about the ultra sound she said not today next visit.i was like you should of said that my bf works graveyard and has been awake waiting since 7 am since he got out of work to be here. She tried to another excuse ... and I told her is almost 12pm we been waiting all this time for your to give me an excuse. She said wait let me see what I can do.... she finally came back to the room to take me to the other room when I see one of the girls that works in the office( which btw is always very nice) saying goodbye to everybody in the office, I asked ohh you are leaving? must be nice, she said yes girl today is half day we close at 12pm. That’s when I was like no wonder they were coming up with excuses to no do the ultrasound bcs they wanted to leave.

I am pleased to say that Dr. Al-Hakeem and WHWH clinicians and staff were professional and courteous. In two visits, I may have answers to several problems I have faced for 20 years. And, even if not - at least they make the option for testing available to patients.

Great Dr. And wonderful staff. Very helpful with any questions I have. He delivered my daughter on December 4th by C-section and he took his time he didnt rush. He came to check on me in the hospital to see how I was doing. Would definitely recommend this Dr. and office to someone looking for an OBGYN.

If I could give no stars I would.. this office is slow and unprofessional. They would schedule me an appointment during the doctors lunch hour and expect me to wait until he gets back. Waiting almoat 2 hours just for a sonogram and pap reaults. Very disappointed in the way obviously over book patients. New patients that arrived over an hour after I signed in were seen in less thanan hour. 2 thumbs down

I felt really good with my visit got answers and more than anything the lady who took my blood out she wa awesome she made me feel comfortable I hate needles but her kindness the way she talkTo me I didn’t realize the needle was in felt good over all

I am able to get appointments after my ER visit . Even I am new patient. His very good and he listen your concern . He knows what I mean .

American fathers have to wait outside, while middle eastern father get to be in lobby with wife not cool man not cool. I guess they want to promote single American mothers but family stronger together please stop trying to split American parents.

The wait time was pretty fast Ive been with Dr. Houmam Al-Hakeem for 6 years now and Im pretty satisfied with their services.

I changed from Dr. Alecozays right away to Dr. Al Hakeem bcz Dr . Alecozays’ staff are very rude and some lady was very negative. Now I feel safer with Dr. Al Hakeem and his staff Nurses are great .

Staff is always so friendly and helpful. I didnt have to wait long to be seen either.

I was new here in San Antonio and all my kids I had them in college station with my only doctor so I was so nervous about a new doctor to deliver my 4baby but I’m glad I found this clinic close by and they are very nice you will get checked all they to make sure baby is okay and everything is okay with baby and yourself not planing on having more baby’s but if I do 🙏🏼 Will definitely go back with them I still gonna be back to do my checks up for my iud and my checks up

Dr. Houmam was very good in seeing my wife in a short notice. Hes straightforward and knows what hes doing. I recommend him!

I have called over 3 times today and no one has answered. I finally got through on my 4th attempt and have been on hold for 14 minutes! Just to confirm an appointment, I think I need to take my business elsewhere.

Dr. Al-Hakeem is incredible. Yes the waiting room can get crowded from time to time but it is because he and is staff are truly amazing.

Ive always been treated kindly at this office by the doctor and staff. There is minimal waiting time and all questions/concerns are addressed with professionalism and respect.

This is a hit and miss, appointments aren’t actually appointments, get there early or on time and ur still in for more than an hour wait to be seen. But staff is nice and helpful.

The staff was very attentive and polite. The doctors are understanding and patient with you.

He is very kind and walks you through everything.Makes you feel comfortable and will always have an answer to your question. I would recommend him to anyone.
