Jami Barnard is incredibly patient and kind during a difficult time for me. She was my surgeon for my total abdominal hysterectomy, the incision site healed perfectly and surgery went as well as possible. I’m very grateful to her for improving my quality of life again.

Do yourself a favor and make Dr. Barnard your new OBGYN! OMG, what a completely different doctor I found. After years of sub-par (some outright horrifying) consultations with doctors trying to normalize my hormones during perimenopause, I was referred to Heights OBGYN. After reading Dr. Barnard’s bio and her desire to help women in all stages of life, I made an appt and my health and mindset have never been better! My story is long but here is what you might want to know: if you want doctor that is genuinely curious to learn about what’s happening with your body, she’s the one. If you want a doctor that will work with you and your integrative health doctor, she’s the one. She is helping me navigate a hysterectomy and surgical menopause with both eastern and western science. If you want a doctor committed to teaching women—and girls—about their bodies to empower them, she’s the one. Since I started seeing Dr. Barnard, she has held workshops to teach the Birds and Bees to adolescence girls and a breast-feeding workshop for expecting mothers. I have never had the pleasure of being under the care of a doctor like Dr. Barnard. Her staff and their client portal are equally amazing. Don’t struggle like I did for 6 years trying to find someone who listens and makes you feel seen. Dr. Barnard is an amazing practitioner.

I absolutely love Dr. Barnard and everyone who assists. I have seen a couple of doctors and she’s by far my favorite.

Dr. Barnard is amazing! She is always so very friendly, energetic, and thoroughly detailed when having to explain something to you. Jami Barnard is great, I was recommended by a family member and I am definitely glad I chose to make her my regular. She was very willing to explain any questions I had to the full extent plus gave recommendations based off of my concerns which I appreciate. She was very gentle and comforting. All staff was very welcoming and professional. Environment was very tidy, clean & modern/new looking. I was early for my appointment and was taken to a room a few minutes before my appointment so just about no wait time. I am glad I came by and will continue!

I would recommend Dr. Barnard and her office 10000 times over and over. Staff is always friendly, helpful, & attentive. So happy with Dr.Bernard! Very little wait time from the waiting room till you see her. She is so friendly and addresses concerns with care. My daughter also sees her and is happy with her services. The in office lab staff is also excellent.

Check in and check out go smoothly every time and the ladies are always so friendly. The nurse took my blood pressure manually which I thought was great. She was so helpful and professional. Dr Barnard is so easy to talk to and thorough during my Well Woman’s Check up.

Took one of my daughter’s here recently. I asked the receptionist if she could put her with someone understanding and that would make her feel comfortable. They happily scheduled us with Jami Barnard and she was youthful and relatable, super informative and genuinely upbeat. My daughter was put at ease and her questions and concerns were listened to and explained about in detail but even that didn’t take very long. I really like her and can highly recommend her. The staff here is also super efficient and friendly.

Dr Barnard was very knowledgeable and very eager to educate me. She invited me to ask questions and used her diagrams to explain things to me in a way that I could understand and feel comfortable. Really nice Doctor and staff. Very informative on my first visit. I did have to use the link from the website to get exact directions since its a huge place, if you just use the address on maps, itll send you somewhere else.*Update: The appointments go fairly fast if theyre on schedule, there was a time (or 2) where I had to wait to be seen, but I also remember going in and out in less than 30 minutes.This was the easiest delivery and recovery I ever had (3 pregnancies) I wish I had her for my other 2 kids. The hospital staff was awesome and I actually had my doctor deliver my baby (scheduled inducing).If I were to have another baby, I would definitely be returning!!

Dr. Barnard is the first doctor I have seen that I have felt listened to and comfortable with. She has such a bright attitude! The nurse that assisted her was also extremely welcoming and kind. It makes you realize how much of a difference personable medical professionals can make on your appointments and outcomes.

First appointment left a good impression with me. She is attentive, explained things in great deal, allowed me to ask questions and took my previous health history into account when making a plan of my care. My previous OB/GYN retired and I was hesitant and very nervous about visiting someone new. Dr. Jami Barnard is excellent! She and her staff are quick, and efficient while still making me feel like an individual. They dont rush through my visit, and make sure all of my questions and concerns are gone over. I have concerns about my baby having a genetic defect, and Dr. Barnard has taken ever care to go over tests with me and make sure I am prepared just in case.

I have been going to Dr. Barnard for years now for my annuals. Every time I come into the practice the staff has always been amazing! Especially their phlebotomist Crystal!!! I know as a woman, I want to get in and out quickly and swiftly when it comes to a pap. Dr. Barnard makes you feel completely relaxed and comfortable, plus you’re done with your exam in 5 minutes or less! She’s thorough, even when she’s been tired from being on call all night long. Extremely thankful for Dr. Barnard! I began seeing her a few year back after my OBGYN retired. I now have brought my daughter to start seeing her and love the way she thoroughly explained everything to her but more importantly made her comfortable as it was her first time! Doctor Barnard makes what should have been an the dreaded annual check up, a breeze. Dr. Barnard puts you at ease with her friendliness and attentiveness. She addresses your concerns and gives her professional, accurate advise. Minimum waiting time is a plus.

Dr. Barnard is kind, funny, professional, and caring. I drive 40 minutes from home because she is the best of the best. She takes time to amswer any questions you have and builds a relationship with her patients. She seems to care about your time. She makes sure you are seen promtply, that your visit is thorough and you understand everything, and gets you quickly out the door and back to your day. This appointment with Dr. Barnard was a routine, annual exam. Staff are friendly and professional. There was no waiting. Dr. Barnard was thorough with her questions about my health and the exam was performed quickly and without difficulty. I was in and out of the office in 15 minutes!

I’m not sure if all of her glowing reviews are only from gynecology patients and not OB patients but I cannot imagine that I even had the same doctor as these people. I’m not sure if it’s because I’m a young mother or a first time mother or both but never once through the course of my pregnancy did I feel like my concerns were heard or validated. I couldn’t even finish a sentence without “that’s normal” and getting cut off. She tried to dumb everything down for me and gave me short reasonings behind my symptoms instead of just explaining things to me like an adult and I should’ve found another doctor before my baby was born. My birth was no different, my baby weighed over 8 lbs at my 36 week check up and she still had me carry until I was 39 weeks to schedule a induction. When we got to the hospital, I was told that I would probably need a c section because my baby was “sunny side up” and… no c section was given. I was forced to get an epidural in preparation for the c section and still… no cesarean. Dr. Barnard came in once to tell me I was “in a race with another patient” which made me feel completely ignored and like my birth was something as routine and redundant as an oil change to her. When my baby was stuck for 5 hours of pushing, she never once discussed any options until my baby girl was forced and ripped out of me, giving her nerve damage that left her right arm paralyzed. I had a 4th degree tear, a permanently injured child, and trauma that will never leave my mind. And where was my doctor after my birth? Nowhere to be found. Every nurse in the hospital, every doctor that checked in with me other than my own, every hospital technician, etc. all agreed that this shouldn’t have happened to me and all of our trauma both physical and emotional could’ve been avoided, and still, Dr. Barnard never followed up to check on us after our birth. At my post partum follow up appointment, she still never asked how my child was recovering and failed to even put in a prescription for an antibiotic for me or a referral for physical therapy for the injuries I sustained during birth. She wanted me out of her office and it was very obvious. I wouldn’t recommend Dr. Barnard to anyone and because of my experience with her, I don’t think I’ll ever have another child.

Love Jami! Always gives me the positive energy I need when visits make me anxious, although the other person who did my ultrasound made it quite painful. I thought it was just going to be some mild discomfort, hoping next time they are more gentle! Still happy I got to hear the heartbeat and walked out with pictures of my baby!

Dr. Barnard was extremely personable and knowledgeable. My appointment was right on time, and I was in and out of the office in a little over fifteen minutes. I will definitely be seeing Dr. Barnard in the future!
