Dr. Suris is AMAZING ! He is the epitome of loving and taking care of his patients. He treats you like family, LISTENS to your concerns and overall makes you feel comfortable having a male OBGYN doctor. I HIGHLY recommend him, you wont be disappointed. He has a great sense of humor too😊 Always a great experience with him his practice 🏆

I was able to be seen quickly and did not have to wait once I arrived for my appointment. Dr. Suris took time to explain everything and was very kind and knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend him, and his office staff was great too.

Dr Suris is a carbon copy of his father Dr Suris senior. Friendly courteous treats you as family very knowledgeable kind and considerate. Always listens to his patients and offers the best treatment, I always leave his office knowing I received the BEST CARE possible. His father, I am sure, is very proud of his son for how he treats all his patients. And I am happy and pleased to have him as my Dr.

I had the worst experience with him. I chose him as my OBGYN because a friend of mine recommended him and I had just moved here when I got pregnant, so I trusted her recommendation, but it didn’t take long to realize that it was not a good choice. When I was 5months pregnant I started making questions about the delivery. He wouldn’t answer me, every time I asked he would say it was too soon to worry about it. So at the end, I was not sure if what I was having were contractions or not, I went to the hospital at 38weeks and my baby’s heart rate was dropping, I was in labor for 2 days and I didnt have enough dilation so we had a c section after seeing my baby’s heart beat drop two times on the same day. I was in the hospital for almost 4 days and Suris never showed up, never called, and then after the c section, they told me at the hospital that I needed to see my doctor to follow up on the surgery, I missed the appointment, called to reschedule and they gave me a date for one month later. I said “but it’s the follow up after the c section” and the receptionist said “well, you missed your appointment, that’s the date we have”. I feel completely neglected. It was the worst experience I could ever have. There are many other details that bothered me there too, like we couldn’t record our baby on the sonogram, my husband couldn’t be next to me on the first time seeing our baby, and kids are not allowed in the office, not even at the reception. Do not go there. I am sure there are better OBGYNS around.

This evening I had an appointment with Dr. Suris. I already had my confirmation of pregnancy and he wanted to see me back in 2 weeks just to give the baby a little longer to cook. I have waited patiently and anxiously for 2 weeks really looking forward to my sonogram to see my baby for the first time and to finally get a few answers of the unknown due to a diagnosis I had. I received an email that my appointment was at 1:50pm along with a check in which I checked in for prior to the appointment. I also received a voicemail to bring my insurance card and saw the confirmation time of 1:50pm. The older white lady with glasses was so rude telling me I missed my appointment that it was at 1:30pm and would need to reschedule because dr suris cannot see me unless I have a sonogram. I told her my appointment was at 1:50pm and she rolled her eyes, gave attitude, bobbed her head at me telling me that she can see how many times the office called me. I proceeded to show her my end on emails and the voicemail that I had received and she neglected to even her me out and told me that if I had questions I needed to call the office. Which little did she know that I did call the office the day prior because I did have questions on my deductible. It was rude and inconsiderate to be rude to a patient who obviously is newly pregnant and vulnerable with the amount of changes happening in life. Dr. Suris is such an amazing doctor and such an honorable guy. Maybe it is time for the receptionist to find a new passion because pregnancy is suppose to be a beautiful thing and then you just have ugly rude people in the world who try to bring negativity into your life and ruin your spirit because they are not happy.

Dr. Suris is excellent.But this morning I was kicked out of the morning room along with a child who was waiting for his mother.I hesitate to recommend another friend to this office just because of the treatment and lack of empathy from the administration.Please put a sign you cannot wait with children inside the office.

The office staff couldn’t have been more friendly. The nurse, Brittany made me feel so comfortable. Dr. Suris is a blessing and was absolutely wonderful. He was patient, listened to my concerns, and you can tell he truly cares about you as a patient. Very thankful I found him.

Dr Suris delivered my first born 30 years ago. He is professional and very knowledgeable and just so warm and friendly. Dr. Suris is an excellent doctor. He was able to identify an issue I have been dealing with for almost 11 years that other doctors just shrugged off. I am now taking medication which is helping out greatly. Dr Suris delivered my 3rd child by c-section and it’s the first of the three sections to heal almost seamlessly. He is very skilled and detail oriented and at the same time very personable and easy to communicate with. I had several tests at the office to see if this was the only option. I appreciate him going over the options and taking time to explain everything. Very friendly staff. Dr. Suris has been my OB/GYN since 1991. Hes a great surgeon, listener & great advice for better health. I know he has alot of patients, just needs to slow down so we dont feel rush to get out.

This was my first time seeing Dr. Suris. My regular doctor retired. It’s always frustrating to see a new doctor but let me tell you I immediately loved him!!! He came in and gave me a strong handshake which I loved. He was very friendly and chatty which I also loved because it’s always akward going to the GYN anyway. He answered all my questions and I didn’t leave feeling like just another patient on the schedule. He better not retire til I hit menopause because I’m not going to another doctor. The nurses were all very kind. I didn’t even wait long to see him and that’s always a plus! Overall I had a very pleasant experience and I’m glad I went to see Dr. Suris.

Dr. Suris is awesome! His staff on the other hand a bit lazy in my opinion. I’m a self pay so I usually call before to get a price. I was not given a correct quote. I took my Husband w me cuz I tend to forget things, I was not told abt no one else allowed in or that masks were still required. Which is bad, because they are a reflection of him/the buisness. 😔🙃😜

Dr. Suris was wonderful. He was kind and very knowledgeable. The problem I had was I waited an hour and a half to even been seen. I had taken off a couple of hours of work bc my appointment was at 3:40pm. I was just frustrated. The doc understood and acted appropriately.

Dr. Suris is amazing! We met on an emergency basis as he was the on call OB at methodist stone oak. He saved my life. I started going to Dr.Suris towards the end of last year. Prior to finding him, I was going to another office and the Dr didn’t seem to care too much about my concerns especially after my miscarriage. So when I searched and found Dr.Suris and saw the amazing reviews, I had high hopes. From the moment he stepped into the room, he was very warm and welcoming. It was definitely a breath of fresh air! Also, he let me ask all the questions and explained my concerns without making me feel rushed and right away he took action. Than when I told him about my miscarriage and my autoimmune diseases, he was flabbergasted that my previous obgyn never sent me to a specialist during my pregnancy. I can continue to go on and on about how great he is and his bed side manners. In addition, his nurse assistant is also very sweet, patient and understanding and everyone in the office as well. Dr. Orlando Suris is a very pretty good doctor.The only that I have a problem is with staff in the front, I have been to two different institutions of women health and the staff was very polite and nice and ask any questions I had. Since I transfer to the one on Lincoln heights I had trouble with staff in the front just being rude and having attitudes. But there was one staff and her name was samantha and she was the nice person there with good customer service and a good attitude.

So far so good. I am only 23 weeks pregnant and everytime I visit Dr. Suris I really enjoy the visit. He is really nice and never seems to be in a hurry. He answers whatever questions I have. He always explains what the next visit would be like so Im more prepared (Vs other Drs Ive had especially being pregnant not knowing when those sonogram or blood work would be). I am thoroughly disappointed with the facility and Dr. Suris. My daughter has had a history of a cyst on her ovaries since she was 15. Today she went in with extreme pain all he did was feel on her stomach and say yes that feels like an assist and then said you’ll need to schedule an appointment for a sonogram that wouldn’t be until August. There is obviously no concern for a patient’s well-being or their health. I do not recommend this practice to anyone. It has not been the same since Dr. Childress is no longer there.

Dr Suris is wonderful, great bedside manner, listens to issues you’re having.The office however is so bad. There’s constant attitude issues from the majority of the front desk staff and MA’s. I’ve been coming here for a few years and occasionally you’ll get a nice front desk person to get you checked in but it’s rare. They’re inconsistent with copays. Some will collect it at the time of visit others won’t and then I’ll get a bill. The MA’s seem overwhelmed and make you feel like you’re a burden on them. This last visit, there was nobody at the front for a few minutes, I waited to be checked in because there was nobody at the front. When I was leaving, there was lots of staff hanging out around the corner from the front. Which again seems like nobody cares to greet patients and it’s a burden to get you checked in and to the back.

Dr. Suris is very kind and patient. I appreciate the time he takes listening to my concerns. He has a calm and gentle demeanor.

Dr. Suris has been my Gynecologist for 30 years. Id done research to find a doctor who would continue my treatment for P.M.S. when I came to San Antonio. I remember asking if I could list him as my G. P. because he knew more about my medical history than any other Doctors Id had in my first 5 years here. I was proven right when I had been to all other Doctors in 2006 trying to treat a bladder infection and a full 18 months later during routine pap test all I had to say was how upset I was with the problem and even had minor pelvic pain and he did intrauterine sonogram to check uterine fibroids and saw a mass in my bladder so large that it made it look full. He sent me to a Urologist and it was cancer. I had surgery and treatment and have been cancer free for 11 years. I thank Dr. Suris for this and tell him so every year!

I am a pharmacist and tried talking to the doctor and doctor’s office about my mom’s medications on her behalf because she does not speak English well. Everyone that talked to me was nothing but rude. Called multiple times in a 2 week time span and they all said they’d get back to me with answers about her treatment and I never heard back. They also tricked her into buying overpriced supplements with the wrong doses and won’t explain themselves. Had multiple receptionists trying to act like doctors but they couldn’t answer any of my clinical questions. Can’t say much about the doctor but the office sure makes him look bad.

Felt rushed through my exam. Staff looked overwhelmed. My concerns were minimized so I went to another obgyn shortly after and got answers, a diagnosis, and treatment that Dr Suris could have caught and treated himself but did not.

Waited an hour and 20 min before even seeing the dr who then spent 10min with me and didnt even address my concerns. Literally the worst experience Ive ever had with a Dr. He was really nice but that doesnt make up for the horrible HORRIBLE customer service at the reception desk, long waiting time, and the lack of concern with my issues then rushed me out the door. Ill never be back. DO NOT GIVE THIS PLACE YOUR MONEY! Go to a Dr that actually cares about you and shows it, we pay too much money to Drs to not feel welcomed and comfortable.Back to the receptionist, that lady treated everyone very rude and had an attitude, never smiled. If you dont like people dont get a job in customer service! Never once did she apologize for the wait and made me feel like I was crazy for being upset then she had the audacity to speak rudely and say we can reschedule you when she sees im upset and knows Ive waited 45min. Who hired this lady? She is hurting your business! What she shouldve said was im so sorry, the Dr is running late but we really appreciate your patience and understanding BUT NOPE she made a bad situation worse. I shouldve walked out.
