Urology San Antonio

My husband had an ultrasound 3 weeks ago and Dr Hofer STILL has not called him with results. Not has the office said anything about needed to come back in to get the results. They told my husband results would be back in a week. After that time frame, he started calling multiple times a week. Eventually the front desk lady let him talk to the PA who told him he read the results and sent them to the Dr to review and he would call by 10:30 am the next morning. That was last Tuesday: a week ago. Husband has continued to call and the lady in the front keeps telling him “she’ll send a message to the Dr to call him back”. Still nothing. He eventually got his patient portal set up and looked at the results himself. But he’s still waiting for someone to call him. It is RIDICULOUS how unprofessional it is to take 3 weeks to call with simple ultrasound results or instructions on what to do next. Do better.

I was referred to Dr. Jones by my urologist in San Marcos because, he said, Dr. Jones had more experience with the type of procedure that seemed to be called for. I was very pleased with the treatment I got from Dr. Jones and his staff. The doctor performed the surgery that I needed and all of the interactions with him and his staff have been great. Dr. Jones took time to explain things thoroughly before and after the surgery. I am now pretty much back to normal and my life has been improved greatly. If there is any less than favorable thing, at my last appointment I had to wait about an hour past my appointment time to see the doctor. But in this age of covid, everything is out of sorts. The appointment itself went well and I thought Dr. Jones took even more time with me to explain what to expect and to answer all of the questions I had. I would highly recommend Dr. Jones to anyone with urinary issues.

From beginning to end the experience was pretty awesome. The folks setting the appointment were really nice, and understanding.Then appointment day came, and my anxiety kicked into high gear. This was a new experience for me, but the anxiety was short lived. Dr. Jones and the staff made me feel at ease, and my conversation with Dr. Jones provided alot of hope.So, yes, I would absolutely recommend Urology San Antonio!

I just had my second appointment with Dr. Leroy Jones at Urology San Antonio. I couldnt be more pleased.To start with, his office team is clockwork and every appointment starts on time. Once the doctor visit started, I never felt rushed.It wasnt todays typical medical experience, where the physician stares at the computer and only gives the patient a cursory look. Dr. Jones asked great questions and gave me plenty of time to ask my own. We had a real conversation with even a bit of humor involved.Dr. Jones at Uroloogy San Antonio is clearly one of the top physicians in his specialty.

Ive been a customer at Urology San Antonio for quite a few years now. The place is very busy as a rule, and appointments sometimes take awhile to get. That would be the reason for the 4 star rating. That said, Ive been taken in right now in emergency situations on more than one occasion. The quality of service and medical care is phenomenal and the Doctors and PAs are first rate. Ive been with them through diagnosis of Prostate Cancer, to surgery, to radiation treatment, to follow on bladder issues and surgeries, and Ill just say that it doesnt get any better than this. Dr. Jones is direct and to the point, and I appreciate that. Hes also the go to guy for other urologists in San Antonio. Ive had opinions referred to him on more than one occasion while I was in hospitals that he does not practice in. My recommendation is that you dont get cancer in the first place, but if you do then he is absolutely the best, in my opinion.

Dr Jones and his staff are the best. Throughout the procedure they were both informative and kind. The degree of professionalism is absolutely the best. At no time did I feel uncomfortable or uncertain as all questions were answered and everything was explained. The day of my surgery, I was visited by everyone that would be involved. I highly recommend Dr Jones and his staff.

I have been a patient of Dr. LeRoy Jones, MD for almost a year. He is very knowledgeable in the field of Urology. He is also very professional. So if youre looking for an urologist give his office a call and set up an appointment. Regular office visits and early detection can help and save your life.

I had a Radical Prostatectomy last March. After a brief recovery period, my primary Urologist from Urology SA referred me to Scott Christenson for therapy. Scott is a great medical coach and practitioner. His advice made my initial recovery from a very invasive procedure successful in many regards, both physically and emotionally. I thank Urology SA for providing this integrated support for their patients and in particular, thank Scott for his great support and recommendations.

I would like to commend Dr. Jones and Staff for their work with me. I have been diagnosed with Peyronies Disease which is not an easy topic to discuss. Dr. Jones took the time to answer all my questions (I had many) and discuss treatments. It is nice to work with a physician who cares to communicate at this level. Thanks Dr. J!

From the biopsy, to surgery to follow up care, everyone has always been professional, knowledgeable and most importantly for me ON TIME. When you schedule an appointment you are in on time and see someone right away. If you need a Urologist I would highly recommend that you visit Urology of San Antonio.

The whole staff is excellent! also kudos to Gilbert Andrade he is always great to talk with, Dr. Jones is a great doctor he is honest and upfront with any questions you might have. I will be coming here for a long time.

Completely satisfied with results of my Urolift performed by Dr Cantrill Urology of SA. Recovered relatively quick with minor discomfort and within 2 weeks I stopped experiencing daily/nightly urinating difficulties and frequent trips to the bathroom. Procedure done in early October 2020, what a tremendous relief it has been for me.

The Dr.s and nurses were very caring. I get sick after surgery. I told them this. They went and got a motion sickness patch and I had no problems. Should I have a question they will ask the Dr. and call u back.Lyle Singleton

The whole staff, including reception and professionals, are very friendly considerate people. The nurses and doctors are knowledgeable and helpful. They help you to feel comfortable and calm. I highly recommend them.

Courteous and knowledgeable staff. Have always seen me at or before my scheduled appointment. Dr. Jones listens well, and takes the time to explain things. Much appreciated.

Always great patient care here. All of my questions have been answered - even the one concerning my wife, and they dont do women here, but they were prepared and handled my question. Scott and his team are the best!

Even though there are some restrictions to visit, due to the COVID 19 crisis, my visit was not a problem. I was given the proper documents before seeing the doctor and I did not have to wait long to be seen by Dr. Leroy Jones.

Professional care at its absolute best. Dr Jones is a caring and understanding physician. The support staff is courteous, friendly and efficient.
