The PA-C was incredibly knowledgeable and took the time to thoroughly explain my treatment options, which greatly reassured me. Went in for my annual wellness exam. The doctor was great and very knowledgeable and attentive to my needs. They do a wide array of men’s health related services. I’ll definitely be going back and I highly recommend this location. Overall fantastic service!! 5 stars

Great experience. The best I’ve had in San Antonio. They able to provide a wide range of medical care with everything from primary care to testosterone and mental health. The doctor was super knowledgeable and easy to talk to. Would highly recommend to any guys looking for a new primary care provider.

I am a regular patient that normally goes to another location. After my visit today, I will be going to this location going forward. Staff was very friendly, prompt and professional. They took my labs on site for my annual exam I do every year for my company’s wellness program. I have a follow up next week for the results. Great experience!

I confess that my previous experience with Total Men’s Primary Health has spoiled me. This time I was sent to a different location and was a little disappointed (that I could not get into my usual location) But, Adam and the team at the Bandera and 1604 location quickly proved that they were up to the task. Fantastic experience, quick to respond and explained everything very well. Now I know that it isn’t just one location that provides this kind of service.

A very clean office, Receptionist was welcoming, Medical Assistant was friendly and professional. PA Castillo was great. He listened to me and explained his plan of care in detail…..even tried to help me find the best med prices on GoodRX. I would highly recommend Total Men’s Primary to men trying to get back on the healthy track!!!

Im giving 1 star because the doctor here is great and I thought the same for the nurses. I wont say names but you should not argue with a patient over weather or not they explained charges to donate blood. Any person would donate elsewhere when told it would be 100.00 because its not covered by insurance.This place may be good for people without insurance but if you have insurance they weasle there way around it to come up with bogus charges. It felt like everything I went in they had some extra fee on top of my injection fee. I have never spent so much money on labs and primary visits.Dont be like me and waste time and money on this place, I was told multiple times I would be referred to a urologist but they never did. so I looked into it myself and found a way better source for my medication and it costs me $0 with my insurance.

This clinic is very professional and with a rapid check in. A fair amount of parking that adds to a stress free visit. I recommend this place for your medical needs.

They gave me an appointment within 3 days. Was called back promptly with no wait. Staff are friendly and careing. Dr Casillas listens to you and works with you to develop a complete health care plan. I had a lot of anxiety about finding a primary care provider... this was an easy choice.

Total mens always takes good care of me. Most of the time I am in and out within 10 minutes of arrival. They make things quick and easy and they dont waste your time which I really appreciate. The staff is always professional and easy going. I will definitely continue using their services.

My husband made appointment with this clinic weeks in advance went in person and was given another appointment because he wasn’t fasting something that he wasn’t told since the appointment was set. Insurance license and all information was given at the time when he went in. Went back weeks later on appointment date was inside talking to Dr when they pull me out to tell me my insurance doesn’t cover! I don’t understand how this happens! Mind you we were the only ones there it wasn’t like it was full of people and so busy for this to happen!So unprofessional as soon as we walked in the two receptionists talking about another patient in front of us when checking us in took 2 minutes we were left waiting until they finished their conversation. I will never recommend this clinic to anyone anywhere!

It was easy to book an appointment online. The online check-in process was fast and efficient. My appointment when very smooth and the provider answered all of my questions and discussed the concerns I had.

Did not have a very good experience this morning at this location, and this is not my first time using Total Mens Primary Care for annual checkups. I scheduled the earliest appointment available @8am for annual exam, pre-filled the survey online to include photo ID and insurance card photos (front and back), demographics, etc. I arrive and am told to provide all the same information again. What was the point of the online survey then? Afterwards, I wait 45 minutes just for the receptionist to tell me they cant verify my insurance information and they wont see me anymore. Complete waste of time and rude receptionist. Only giving two stars because the online interfaces are very user friendly, I just wish the employees would actually use the information provided online instead of having to do the same work twice.

Did not have a very good experience. Went in today for the results of my yearly physical was told I was being charged for the doctor looking at my knee. The doctor never looked at my knee, and when I explained. That to the reception, they told me he did. The doctor never looked at my knee. I told him sometimes I have pain in my knee and he just told me I have arthritis never looked at my knee never had a conversation besides that. once I told him I was not going to pay they change their story and said I was getting charged for the results of my physical when asked if my insurance does not pay for my physical, they said no so I was going to hand them. My credit card asked how much they are going to charge me. She rudely told me that she has been trying to tell me and I am not listening. I was just asking questions and they got upset about it. They were treating me very ugly. All because. I told them the doctor never looked at my knee I felt uncomfortable. I felt like this was a scam. I will never recommend this place to anyone. According to them. My physical is paid for, but I have to pay to get the results

Excellent service went in for sciatic nerve problem since Monday can right out with no issues and feeling back to 100%

The location is clean and nice looking inside. I didn’t wait but a few minutes to be seen. Staff is very friendly and everything went smooth. I had a quick direct consultation identifying the issues and treatment. I would highly recommend this location and any other locations related with this company. I have had the same great experience at the other locations as well.

This was a GREAT experience! I havent had a physical in a few years, and I was afraid of what to expect from my visit to TMPC. When I arrived I was greeted warmly and respectfully. Check in was a breeze and the nurse that did my blood work was a pro!

Great and professional team I was in and out . I came to get my annual bloodwork and physical . No copay needed with my insurance .

I went in without an appointment to have chronic cough and sinus drainage treated. Without an appointment, I waited for 45 minutes or so. No too bad in my opinion. The health care provider was empathic, friendly and professional. I was treated and left with 2 prescriptions to go with a steroid shot. My Medicare and supplemental insurance was welcomed. I’d go back if I needed non emergency medical care.

Staff was very friendly & professional. Was checked in & taken back almost immediately. Once in a room the everything went quick & smooth. The Dr came in an was very professional & I felt very comfortable explaining my situation. Which hardly ever happens. Over all it was a great experience!

Just had my first visit at Total Mens and it went well! Scheduling my first appointment was a breeze. The doc at the office today was filling in for the doc whos normally there, but she was very attentive and answered my questions with care. I like that theres multiple locations and so Im able to choose the office in town that best suits me.

Went in for my first annual physical in over 7 years. Adam Castillo (as well as the nurse practitioner—can’t remember her name) was knowledgeable, very personable, and easy to talk to. I really appreciate that I was able to get an appointment scheduled last minute because it seems like so many clinics in the area aren’t accepting new patients right now. Any guys out there who need primary care (or pretty anything), I suggest going here!My only complaint is that there was a bit of a wait (only about 25 minutes), but it wasn’t much and definitely worth it for the care I received.

Went in to see Dr. Adam and was super nervous due to the fact it’s been awhile since I’ve been to any sort of doctor. Upon arriving the staff and Dr. Adam himself had me in a very calm and collective state, he listened to what I needed and assured me that everything was good and got me what I needed. Never thought I would have a primary care physician but Dr. Adam’s and his team has my business from here on out! They are amazing and I 10 out of 10 recommend!

All paperwork completed online in advance, no additional paperwork required upon arrival (I hate it when other places make me fill out repeated paperwork). No wait. Blood work completed on-site. The care providers Ive had appointments with are genuinely helpful. Today I have no hesitation reaching out to make an appointment at this office to take care of my health needs. They also do a great job of communicating by text messages which is really cool. Lets be honest, most men fall short when it comes to managing their healthcare. Its not that were lazy, dont care or dont have concerns about our health. Its the fact that most doctors offices are outdated, over scheduled and to make an appointment is just a big hassle. Aint nobody got time for that, and thats why I love Total Mens Primary Care. The new patient scheduling process is so easy, you do everything online and then just show up. The facility is modern and since it caters to men youll feel comfortable and confident with the doctors and faculty you deal with. They take just about all insurances and I really like the fact that they do lab work in house. Who wants to leave a doctors appointment just to have to schedule another one to get lab work done and sometimes pay an additional fee. My initial visit was so easy to schedule and went so smooth that I kind of regret not coming here sooner. I made the mistake of seeking an endocrinologist to help manage my Diabetes, and the doctor at Total Mens told me he could work with me to manage my Diabetes and not have to pay specialist fees to an endocrinologist which will save me money. I couldnt be happier with the service I received and Ive already reached out to my sons to schedule their appointments to get their annual physicals done at Total Mens Primary Care.

So I was trying to go to the place next door its an urgent care but I got there right at lunch time and they said they couldnt see me. I was about to get in my car and I noticed the total mens primary care right next door.Even though Im a woman I decided to go in there and check and sure enough they had no problem seeing me everybody was super professional and very accommodating.I was in and out of there in literally 30 minutes.Great experience, very thankful that they could help me.Oh and they also have an amazing snack bar in the waiting room!Thanks again,Sara

Dr. Adam was extremely easy to talk to. Had to have my blood drawn on this appointment and I literally didnt feel a thing. Ive had painless blood draws before, but never one where I didnt feel it.

Staff is very friendly. Office atmosphere is extremely relaxed. And not to sound like an old bitter keep off my lawn man... but the lack of kids and women makes for better availability. Other offices have appointment waiting time two months out!

I had a lot of anxiety going in because I had not prioritized my health for too long. Coming in everyone made me feel right at home! Plenty of reminders coming up to the appointment by email and text; everything was meticulously laid out so there was no uncertainties. Visited this clinic based on feedback from some of my male friends and neighbors that this was the best place to go for men’s checkup. I went to go get my annual physical and let me say it was a pleasure visiting this place. I don’t like to go to doctors 🥼 office as most men don’t and this was a very seamless and easy and comfortable visit. From the time I walked in to consultation and the blood work done. All went smooth with no issues. Best of all the young lady drawing the blood was amazing. No poking or prodding for a vein. Found the vien and quickly drew the blood with no pain of issues. I would really recommend this to any man wanting a good experience at the doctors which most of us dread visiting for a good comfortable and easy visit. Thank you!

The staff really made me feel welcome. Snacks, water, coffee, etc. while you wait. My appointment started on time and went by quickly, but not too fast. I felt like they were very thorough with my evaluation. I’ve already recommended their services to a few folk I know.

Total Men’s Primary Care truly is reinventing male medical care. I was suspect that it would be as easy as the website promotes – but it truly was as published online. I entered medical information in one time, I was seen on time (maybe even a couple minutes early), and I had a very casual conversation about my health and needs. I have my follow-up already scheduled, so I am a repeat patient now.

I’ve been to two locations now and find them to be perfect for us men who want to be seen soon by knowledgeable, relatable providers. Ms. Alex (Potranco/211) is great and Mr. Adam (Bandera/1604) is very good at explaining things on layman’s terms. Both locations are in shopping centers, so parking is free and convenient. If you do not like long waits sitting in offices, and you want prompt attention from great people, try Total Men’s Primary Care.

First time coming to this clinic, quick and easy registration, prompt service, and helpful staff.The provider was attentive, cared about my concerns and was even helpful with an issue I was even being seen for. I will definitely be returning for any subsequent medical concerns.

The waiting room was very clean with complimentary drinks and snacks but there was no waiting, I was into the exam room quickly. They are upfront with any costs if you are there without insurance like I was. I will definitely be back! I found my new doctor!!

I went to Total Mens Health because the Low T center is stopping Primary healthcare. The Staff at TMH was excellent. The Provider was very helpful with any questions I had. He had a great bedside manor. I am looking forward to working with TMH for my medical provider. I highly recommend their services.

It is hard to find a good doctor these days and if you do- they almost certainly won’t be honed in on some of the specific needs of men such as hormone balance- you’ll need to see a specialist for that. I went to total men’s today for the first time. A few observations:-I was not rushed- I’m a medically retired veteran and even though I came in with a list- the PA made sure to cover everything to my complete understanding.-My opinion was respected. I’ve learned through a lot of medical procedures that you need to be educated in your health. The PA wanted a dialogue, not to simply dictate to me. It was a positive.-I left with a clear plan as well as expectations for next steps.This was an excellent experience and I have much to compare it to. I highly recommend at a minimum- give them a shot. You’ll see right away what makes them different.

Ive just recently moved to San Antonio from Reno and was in need of a new primary care doctor. I happens upon Total Mens Primary Care. I had my forst visit today and was completely pleased with the friendly staff, comfortable office and still professional treatment I was greater with.

Overall a very fast and (mostly) painless experiences.The only pain I felt was the swab in my nasal cavity, but granted theres never a pleasant way to do a proper COVID test. The receptionist was great and understanding of the situation and the nurse who administered the test was kind and very professional in how she explained and conducted the test. Made an appointment to get a covid test and was able to schedule and get a same day appointment. As soon as I got to the clinic I was greeted and didn’t have to wait before being seen. Staff was friendly and very helpful, in and out of the appointment in less than 20 minutes! Will absolutely be coming back here if I need another covid test or for other services they provide. It was time for me to get an annual check up, and I was glad to see that there was a men’s clinic so close to me. Staff got me checked in quickly, and I was see on time which is rarity at any clinic or doctor’s office. Vitals were taken, a quick medical history, and I saw the doctor. I had some blood drawn, and I was on my way. I look forward to having Total Men’s as my primary clinic.

First class service from the moment you walk in the door. The ladies at the desk are both understanding and medical professionals. The experience did not change as I was taken to my exam room. The conversation made it as less stressful than it is usually is when getting your vitals and exam done.

Awesome service. Basically no wait at check in. Was taken back to exam room, provider came in as soon as the usual vital signs/med rec was completed. Answered all my questions, got the labs ordered that I needed. Happy to have switched to this clinic.

This has been the worst experience I have had from a medical provider. My first visit was at Total Men Bee Cave office to get evaluated for low T. I saw the PA Mandy. She was very friendly and professional and explained the what I needed to do to get me back to my levels. However a big concern for me cost. I asked her about the cost and she mentioned that I need to speak with the front office admin. However, she did say it about $35 per visit which is my coPay w my insurance. I end up getting my first shot at that location. However, I live in San Antonio so schedule my next 2 appointment were at the Bandera office. Before leaving the Bandera office I once again asked the front desk admin to confirm my charges and she told it only $35. To make a long story short, I started getting email and text messages that I owe them $167 for charges I didnt authorize or was told about. Not once did they mention they they had to get approval from my insurance for charges. Not once did they tell me that my insurance was not covering certain services. They let me to believe that my co-pay would cover every. All this time I was told from totalmen that my cost was $35 per visit which I paid before I left the office. Not once they the office staff told me I had other changes on my account. I have spoke with Tess, manager for Bandera and explained my concerns. She said she was going to call me back after her doing more research and she hasnt call. Instead now they are threatening with sending my to collection. I explained to Tess that I wouldnt have never agree for service if my out of pocket expense were more that what I would pay w my primary care doc. Currently, my primary care doc got me on a low T regimen and all I pay for the medication is about using GoodRX at CVS for $25. Plus one time doc co pay of $35. He does the same follow ups for the co pay. All labs are paid by my insurance.

Great experience on my first visit. Very clean and low wait times. Adam took his time to address my concerns and even took the time discuss certain aspects of modern medicine.

Had a gout flare up and the Bandera location had a quick opening and did a telemedicine appointment. They called on time and the appointment was smooth and efficient. They called in the meds right away and the doctor suggested I not take the maintenance meds and only prescribed what I needed for the flare up. They also took the time to schedule me for blood work and a follow up at my normal location near where I lived.

Had a good experience visiting this location for some basic health concerns, the waiting area was welcoming as well. My concerns were addressed and I felt more informed on what I needed to do to get better, recommend trying this place out if you’re the type of guy that hates visiting a doctors office.

If you are looking for a quick and easy place to get a Covid Test done, look no further. It took me longer to park and walk in than it did to have my test administered. I had my results text and emailed to me Shortly thereafter. Walk-ins welcome and they do accept major insurance. Dont wait in those excruciating long lines!

Horrible experience. They have been dragging their feet with my referral. When I call, one person says its ready, but another says its not. The have not been receptive to my inquiries at all. The referral they do send is to a doctor who is not taking patients. Dont expect much from Total Mens Care. 0 Stars....
