NextCare Urgent Care San Antonio

Called to get my son seen for an acute concern. I was able to get scheduled same day for an appointment. Very easy to be seen the same day. Great care and exceptional service! All this on a Sunday afternoon was phenomenal! Highly recommend for your urgent needs.

Very positive and genuine experience at .y Nextcare visit. From receptionist, to the clinician taking vitals, and subsequent consult with resident physician absolutely positive. The physician was very thorough, proactive, and informative on all aspects of my visit as well as reviewing previous visits for further correlation. The online registration and appointment booking feature was a plus. I got timely updates from start to finish. Spot on service, keep doing g what youre doing.

The online scheduling was fast and easy. This is good especially when you don’t feel good. Check in was easy and the front staff was kind and friendly. It didn’t take long to get called back. The person taking my vitals was very pleasant. They were able to pull in my medication list from my pharmacy so that was an easy confirm if still taking the meds. The PA was kind and listened. I was tested for flu, strep and COVID. Luckily all negative. I did have bulging ear infection and for that I was given a steroid shot. My appointment was at 2:10 and I was out the door by 3:30. Highly recommended

First time coming to this urgent care due to our baby being sick. But front desk was super sweet, availability for appointments was great especially with it being the weekend majority of some urgent care were closing. Nurse and provider were great! We were in and out within 45 min. Super clean facility! Friendly staff!

My son was struggling with congestion and sinus pain. I was able to schedule his appointment within the hour. We checked in online and headed to the clinic. The arrival staff was friendly and polite. The screening tech was kind a patient with my son. The doc was great too. He got my son diagnosed and sent the medication request to the pharmacy and we were gone before we knew it. It was a great experience.

Everyone at NextCare were awesome knowledgeable and caring professionals! I was a walk-in (didn’t have an appointment), yet I felt well cared for throughout my visit. I highly recommend NextCare.

My son was not feeling well. Scheduled him to come in, that was very simple. I was able to check in online in my car. The staff was courteous. The doctor was amazing. He was so cool and down to earth. He checked out my son and sent the medicine to cvs. As we were leaving CVS texted and said it was ready. After picking up the prescription, We were away from home for an hour and 35 minutes in total. Thats amazing care!!!

No one was there when I arrived. I had to wait over 5 minutes before someone came to the front desk. Service was quick and they were nice. But again similar to the other urgent care center, doctor rushed through everything (and I was the only patient there). Didnt even look at me or discuss my symptoms.

The staff and care team were all very kind and the physician had especially good bedside manner, very attentive and considerate as well as just being a delightful presence. Overall great experience which is what you want when you’re not feeling your best

Setting appointment online for same day and filling out paperwork prior to getting there is so convenient. I went in knowing I had Covid so it was a matter of testing, getting meds and Dr note for work. Place is immaculate, Employees were courteous and always a good visit when I come here cause my PCP will take days to be seen and I need today.

Everything about this visit was top-notch.They got me in quickly as a walk-in. Check in nurse very pleasant. Then Travis as the practitioner was exceptional. When I left this appointment I told my husband that any future Urgent Care appointments for either of us will be done here!

So have really bad pink eye with icky swelling too, cause sinuses want to get involved too (lol).Nicole, is there nicest front desk person EVER!Shes explained their policies and suggested their plan (which is really good)! Also, I had questions and she answered them ALL.Anthony took my vitals, symptoms and such. He was very professional and NICE!Dr. Lomboy, Wow! What a cool Doctor! Explained what I needed to do for care, prescribed meds and answered my questions. I ask questions.What an amazing group of people!!!You will not be disappointed…

Thank the Lord there was no wait list so I was able to pretty much see the doctor right after I finished my paper work. The staff was very nice and even gave me extra recommendations to get better. Since we are private pay we did the advantage plan (or something like that) and it wasn’t expensive at all and covered 3 months of service. I’ll definitely be coming here again! Thank you! 🙏🏼❤️

Everyone was super kind. The service was quick. I only waited for about 5 minutes. I will definitely go there again the next time I am sick. I am very happy with the service.

You don’t even deserve 1 star…. The wait was and management of appointments is HORRIBLE!!!. Our appt was at 1:00 for a physical and a person with 3 physicals was taken in before us with an appt of 1:15. Also left 45 mins before we were finally let go. I called n tried to speak to the office manager and was told my Anthony Trevińo she was out on vacation and only the RN has supervision control. We arrived at 12:45 and left at 2:45 when others were in and out way before us. I will not be going back or recommending this place to anyone.

Always an Awesome experience when taking my kids in for sick visits. In and out within 30 minutes. I highly recommend next care urgent care they have 5 star customer service and wonderful staff.

DO NOT GO HERE.I have visited this facility twice and seen two different doctors. The first time was for constipation problems that continued, so I took a trip to the ER and that doctor told me that the nausea medication they prescribed me had a side effect of constipation.The second time I went was only because I had already gotten screened by the same ER I went to in case I needed sutures for a wound. They told me they’d give me a tetanus shot and antibiotics, but that’s all they could do for me since it had already been past 24hrs. I thought this would be doable enough for this urgent care team and I didn’t have the extra $100 difference between the two. When I saw the doctor he said “we could give you a tetanus shot but they last for 10 years so when did you get your last one?” ….. they also said I didn’t need antibiotics because “it looked like a normal cut” (the one they were going to give me sutures for) and I had to push to get them.On top of all this, the care instructions from the first doctor were no Neosporin and a clean bandage because otherwise it would just keep the infection in and the wound from healing. This doctor immediately took the smallest bandage they had (the blood from the cut was literally seeping out from the side) and slathered it in Neosporin. Couldn’t even be bothered to send me home with another big bandage like the first ER did (which I paid nothing for). I will never return here no matter how small the problem might seem.

From moment we walked in the front door, staff was friendly, efficient, and patient while explaining reason for visit. Physician was thorough and friendly. Visit was quick, couldnt have been more pleased!

Woke up this morning with a sore throat, was able to book appointment thru the app on the same day. The staff  was very friendly and caring.Birks Anna answered all my questions, I highly recommend.

This location has the absolute best services and very attentive staff. Everyone from Marisela at the front desk, Laura/Crystal to my provider, Alex Nashke were extremely professional and kind. Alex was very thorough with my care And provided excellent feedback. I would love to have her as a PCP! Also, my wait was less than 15 minutes even upon arriving late.

Gave me the wrong medication as I said I’m allergic to amoxicillin 1000mg dosage and gave me 875 like I can still get an allergic reaction as I haven’t taken amoxicillin since then. Then I told them H‑E‑B pharmacy Alamo ranch and they gave me cvs Alamo ranch…make it make sense. Asked to leave because they said they couldn’t do anything and it then a whole hour to come up with that answer so I didn’t complain as they are very rude and not understanding of different situations. Terrible staff and office as there was no one else there and had a 10:30 appointment while thinking it would be a quick assumption that I need antibiotics that I can actually take and it’s not strep. Took an hour to do a simple evaluation. Wasted my co pay of $45. Basically they said I should have gone to a real doctor.

Clean nice looking facility and staff are so professional and informative and they had the best price for my sons school physical. Definitely returning back for other needs if needed.

Super fast I made a same day appointment for my sons sport’s physical appointment was at 4 and we were out the door at 4:14. Clean office and lady in the front was super friendly and helpful

Second visit, and they always treat me well. I appreciate everyone listening and communicating very well. This is the best place for veterans to go for urgent care needs.

I was very satisfied with my visit. I had no appointment and was seen quickly. I was quickly diagnosed and am recovering very well, thanks to your services. I am truly thankful.

Everyone from the front desk and the technician were very nice and very courteous. I was seen by PA Alexandra Naschke. She is absolutely the best. So pleasant and so kind.

Waited about an hour to get back, but that’s because there were 5 people ahead of me. The NP, was very kind and quick. I told her I had a sore throat and wasn’t sure what the issue might be. She tested me for flu, Covid, and strep. In 30 minutes I had an answer, a prescription and was on my way. Very kind and efficient staff.

My son wasn’t feeling well, so I took him to NextCare Urgent Care for the first time based on the reviews. This place was great, super fast and friendly. They had us in and out in under an hour!

The nurses and doctors are amazing. Always feel welcomed! I’ve visited twice now and I always feel like they listen to your problem. Also explain what you have very well!

Quick registration, friendly staff. We were in and out in about 45 minutes to include x rays and diagnosing his injury. I would recommend this location and its in the Tricare network so thats a plus for us active duty and retired folks!

If I could rate this place with no stars I would. When I walked in it was clean not busy at all the receptionist was nice at first. Didn’t wait long but I was the only one there… once I got to the back the doc literally told me thing I was already doing at home. I went in for an ingrown toenail… I had already been soaking it in epsom salt I do work 12-16 hours at times on my feet so epsom salt is only going to help for some time… he did look at my toe just to say it was infected which it wasn’t. I’m no doctor but it’s not my first ingrown toe nail either so I knew it wasn’t infected. So then he said he couldn’t do nothing for me… I literally paid $50 for NOTHING! I then went to Texas Med clinic where they were actually able to help me. They removed my ingrown toenail which had no infection! To me it seemed like the doc at Next Care just didn’t want to deal with it. I wouldn’t recommend Next Care to anyone

Our visit was great. The staff were friendly, attentive and caring. The only issue I had was they werent accepting walk-ins and we had to make an appointment.

Original review: Not even sure how to feel about this place. No waiting room entertainment. Then theres the wait.... Why do they have appointments and then accept walk ins ahead of appointments???? Been waiting an hour past my appointment here.Update 4 months later: Still more of the same. Had an appointment and they took 2 other people who didnt have appts (per the solv app I was the only one with an appt and of the other 2 people, 1 popped up as a walk in and the other never popped up) and came in AFTER me. It also appears that the doc takes half an hour per patient, even though they spend approximately 5 minutes in the room with them. It could move a lot faster. Insurance doesnt cover anywhere else near us so we have to keep bringing our business here and wed REALLY appreciate some improvement!

Easy access to book for treatment. Staff were efficient and was in and out in a short period of time. Would definitely use them for future visits.

Ive come to this location two times and they have always been quick, efficient, and understanding. I have a horrible fear of blood and needles and the whole staff was caring and understanding. I especially wanted to call out Kyla who helped me calm down and painlessly took my blood sample I needed. Thank you for setting my mind at ease!

Such a smooth process to book an appointment and check in. The front staff is great and very nice and everyone in the back, from the nurse to the doctor were awesome.

This location had no wait. I was seen very quickly and the medical assistant and physician assistant were very professional. Probably my most pleasant experience at an urgent care center.

I have been here three times and had the best experiences every time. The front desk people are helpful and kind and know what they are doing. The nurses who take you back get it done quick and had good bedside manner. The providers I have had have all been great listeners and at explaining things in layman’s terms, I never feel like they are rushing me. I have never waited more than ~15 minutes to get in or be seen.

I can’t remember who I saw, but I have seen him twice and my daughter once. And I sent my husband there as well. Great place. Friendly and they listen to you!

By far the best walk in clinic I have ever gone to. I have been misdiagnosed multiple times and this provider was very knowledgeable and diagnosed me correctly and I was able to get the correct medication.

Woke up this morning with a sore throat immediately booked an appointment was there within 15 minutes appointment only took about 30 minutes and was out the door with prescription in hand. Fast and convenience service.

Set up an appointment and waited well after my appointment time. I have a busy schedule. If I wanted to wait Emergency Room time for an issue, Id go to the ER. They took walkins before me as well. Why bother with having a booking system then? Solved issue elsewhere.

Fast service, can book an appt online and fill all paperwork electronically before you arrive. The lady at the front was pleasant and helped me with everything. Minimal waiting time at the lobby. The nurse and Doctor were courteous and took care of me in no time.

Nice, inviting and friendly atmosphere. Waiting room decorated for the Holidays and the ladies at reception promptly greeted me upon arrival. Wait time wasnt a big factor at the time of my visit as there were only two other people in the waiting area. would definitely recommend this Urgent Care facility to others.

The entire staff was friendly, quick, and professional. The front desk was upfront of cost and I appreciate that. The staff was not rushed but focused on answering questions and being helpful.

Front desk staff wasn’t too friendly but here was not really any issues with her. Triage was ok, they just asked a few questions that were already completed online prior to the visit. Thank you NP last name starts with B ( think Birks) hopefully the meds prescribed will help :)

The appointment was quick and efficient. It might have been because I had been there previously but I was seen my results were reviewed and I was given the needed meds.

I was taken care quickly and efficiently. Staff from the reception desk to PA were friendly and professional. I was very happy with the results of my visit.

The wait time wasn’t long before I saw the doctor. He was nice and knowledgeable and answered all questions and concerns.

I would not go there if it was the last urgent care open. Front staff was nice and reviewed my documents quickly. However, provider Thomas Forney PAC was rude and trying to prescribe medication I know doesnt work for me. Always listen to your patient! Some training on bedside manner and empathy would go a long way!

Everyone was pleasant and friendly. I appreciated the Nurse Practitioners professionalism, care and diagnostic skills. She was exemplary in her position. Because of her abilities, Ill recommend NextCare Urgent Care to all that I know.

Update 09/2024Dr. Travis is still there and he is still great! I Had to bring in a sick kiddo, went over everything in detail. Great bedside manner, great with kiddos as well. The nurse today was equally as great! Customer service here is always above and beyond. Highly recommend them. Someone in our family unfortunately but fortunately 🙃 gets sick etc and we end up coming here several times a year and it is always a wonderful experience! Very thankful for yall!Update 03/2023Scheduling and filling out paper work is still easy, all online! But what makes this Drs office hands down the best in town is the staff! Mo was absolutely great, as well as Dr. Travis! They have a great attitude, great bedside manner! Explained absolutely everything and answered all my questions. Great medical office!First time and although I hope I don’t ever have to go again, this place would be hands down my first choice! Scheduling and filling out all the paper work online before made it so easy and smooth to check in. Dr. Travis was absolutely great! Amazing bedside manner, took his time to throughly explain and answer all questions.

Nextcare Urgent Cares staff are kind and compassionate, especially when youre feeling terrible. When you cant get a doctors appointment at your Primary Care, Nextcare is my place to go for immediate medical treatment.

The office was very clean and tidy. There were not many people waiting to be seen. I didnt care for filing out all the patient info online. My personal private health information out on the Internet is not truly secured. Doesnt that go against the HIPPA. Doctor files should be confidential! Also, whay if a person was not tech savvy how would they get urgent care if they could not fill out paperwork on their phone? Like the elderly. The receptionist was not real welcoming or friendly. Maybe she was just having a bad day.The Dr on duty was very compassionate, undertanding and caring. He listened and didnt rush me through the exam. He was helpful and informative. Gavee.some great recommendations for future care. The nurse was also super nice. She gave great instructions on what needed to be done and was very helpful and kind. I didnt feel uncomfortable at all. I will definitely use them again if I need to

NextCare Urgent Clinic was a wonderful experience. The receptionist was calm eventhough she was alone and the computers were down.The assistant Anthony Trevino was very professional and informed.The best person at the clinic Travis Forney PAC. While he was taking out the stitches from my head wound, I commented on a problem that I had with my left ear. He offered to check my ear and very professionally he explained what was happening. He was terrific and recommended him highly. Great job, Mr Forney.

My family and I recently moved here from out of state. Military life! Its always so hard to find new doctors, etc that make you feel at ease.Nextcare has an easy check in process that utilizes a code. You can see your place on the wait list! I had a very pleasant experience with the staff up front, Anthony, and Dr. Forney! They were fabulous!

Came in today for a new patient visit 10min before closing, I felt horribly bad and felt even more bad at the fact I came in so close to closing time 8pm but they were the closest facility near my home at that time that took my insurance after a long day at work and couldn’t get to my primary. Immediately walking in I felt welcomed by the young lady at the front desk(sorry forgot her name)I was apologetic for coming in so late but she reassured me not to worry that they would take care of me. I was immediately taken back for triage by Moe and seen by PA Lexi. They were both so kind, I never felt rushed. I continuously apologized for coming in, so close to closing, and they assured me not to worry. I felt so at ease as if I’d been there before. The facility was very clean also. I highly recommend this Urgent Care and will definitely come back. Just try for an earlier time next time if I need them. Thank you for the great care that you provided for me today. :)

It was super easy to book an appointment time, and once I arrived, they took me back in about 20 minutes. All in all I was out of the clinic in 45-50 minutes. Doing paperwork online was super easy. Front office was Veronica A., back office was Crystal V., and the provider was Henry Waters. All were very friendly, easy to talk to, and PA Waters was quick without me feeling rushed. The facility was very clean, and the waiting room had plenty of space. I’ll definitely come back if I need to be seen, and I’ll recommend my husband do the same. Thanks, all!

Not being from the area I didn’t know the best place to go when we had to stop in after my daughter injured her ankle. We made it within an hour before closing due to traffic. I was so worried and stressed having my daughter injured like that but they definitely helped put my mind at ease. They saw us in a timely manner, and the nurses and NP got her X-rays done super quickly with confirmed results a few short minutes after! They gave us a CD of x ray images which helped tremendously the next morning when I had to get her into an orthopedic surgeon asap, which requested I bring the images bc they had to squeeze us in before their dr had to leave for the day. Long story short- next care and their whole staff helped us out in a crunch and we hope we don’t have to be back, but if we need an urgent care again- it will be NextCare!

NextCare Urgent Care has been very good to me. Fortunately, Ive not had to visit often, but the two visits I have made were exceptional. In both instances Ive been seen quickly; with just enough time to fill out the usual required forms. The staff is professional and courteous and demonstrate the empathy one would hope for in medical care.

A little bit of a wait but expected. The PA was excellent. I feel we received good care.

Went in for possible sinus infection.  Almost positive based on symptoms.  Doctor came in stood 3 feet away from me, check my ears stepped back and said ok I will give you a few days of amoxicillin.  I advised him I was allergic, he said I will send slack to your pharmacy.  He left.  He had asked me if I had been swabbed for anything at beginning of appt, I’m assuming when I said no that is why he stepped back 3 feet.  But didn’t even bother to check my lungs or throat!  Not happy with his assessment.  All other staff was great.

Entire facility was clean. Set my appointment that morning, was told they were slightly behind but it wasn’t a long wait at all. Clean, large waiting room with just 2 other people which was great. Front desk was pleasant and professional. All staff members I encountered were amazing. Very impressed with this place.

This clinic is fantastic. Yvonne helped to get us checked in fast and easy. Moe was wonderful, he has a great way of being professional while also making us laugh and feel at ease, which is great when you don’t feel good. PA Lexi is awesome and one of the best providers there is. Would definitely recommend!

I have been coming to this location for about 3 ish years and I can not tell you enough how much I love and appreciate this location! I have seen Dr Travis about 4 times now and every single time he has been phenomenal! He has great bedside manner, great attitude and very thorough on explaining everything. I can not recommend him enough! Being able to do everything online is a plus, wait time is the best (it’s the chicfila of clinics!)

Next Care never disappoints! From the moment you walk in to when you are checked out. They are quick and efficient. Laura was so sweet and great with my children during the triage. PA Waters was so thorough with his exam and so friendly. He made sure I understood the diagnosis and treatment plan. The whole visit was quick. The facility was extremely clean and had all the appropriate resources for urgent needs. I highly recommend coming to see them! You won’t be disappointed.

Mo was awesome. He had a great attitude and made us feel welcomed. He was very polite and helpful as well. The lady at the front was very polite and informative. The PA-C was great and very knowledgeable as well. All in all this place was great and will be coming back here if needed. Thank you all at NextCare for helping me feel better.

Went as a walk in, was acknowledged with a greeting, both receptionist at front was very polite and attentive with what they do. Both nurse and doctor polite and friendly keeping your mind off things. I highly recommend this facility.

Everyone (receptionist , nurses, and doctors) are compassionate. I being my special needs son here and everyone is so friendly and accommodating. They’re very professional. Added bonus not long wait time . Highly recommend this clinic!!

We arrived less than an hour from closing time. The entire visit took no longer than 40 min including X-rays. Every single person we interacted with was friendly and professional. They were so great with my teenage son, joking with him and making him feel at ease. They explained everything thoroughly and let us take pictures of the X-rays. They were so friendly and fun as well! We both walked out of there, looked at each other and said.. wow, that was almost fun! What a great experience! Thank you!!!I did see them turn another person away about 30 min from closing time so that may be when they stop accepting patients. We got lucky getting there a little earlier.

This is my second experience in this clinic. In both times, i got excellent care. Thank you, Dr. Forney. He is very thorough and an excellent doctor. I am really excellently satisfied with his service. The facility is clean and the staff are respectful and caring. I will definitely come back to this clinic if I need their service.

Wow! The staff here was amazing! Mo and Lexi took care of my needs in a quick, thorough and FRIENDLY manner. It is so rare, in my experience, to be treated humanely in a medical setting, but this team went beyond humane to genuine caring. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone with an urgent care need!

The professionals at NextCare Urgent Care on Culebra were exceptional. Made me feel at ease. Nurse practitioner Monica Tellez and her team listened to my concerns but most importantly, I felt like the medication that was prescribed was going to make me feel better. I always get great service when I come here. The PA is amazing, the staff is amazing. He works so good with my 7 year old and explains things very well.

This clinic was very professional and fairly quick. I went in for x-rays. I appreciate Moe and Monica (I believe those were their names,) for communicating with me. They came in to update me so I could be informed throughout the entire process...cant say the same about the other clinics.

This urgent care always takes good care of me and my family when we have to come in. Front office staff (Veronica) is very patient and helpful. Crystal and Moe in the back are comforting and competent. My doctor Alyssa took very good care of me and kept me informed. This is the clinic I always recommend to people because the staff is wonderful and takes care of their patients all the way through the process.

Absolute great experience, Injured my foot. They got me checked in and placed in a room in no time. The Physician Assistant was highly knowledgeable and she was amazingly friendly and kept me cool during the ordeal. X-Ray tech was on point and friendly with his duties. Lastly the medical assistant also very helpful, friendly and made the overall experience easy considering my injury.

Dr lomboy is the best doctor. Helped calm my nerves down with my sickness. Explain everything and detail. Very knowledgeable and friendly. Mari front desk and mo back office were fast and efficient to get me in and out. No problem. Quick visit. My favorite urgent care when I have last min medical problems.

It was so easy to book an appointment and I was able to be seen right away! Ive never had such a positive health care experienced at an urgent care facility before. I got an appointment within the hour. I barely waited to be seen. Everyone there was kind and professional and I received quality health care. It was fantastic!! Thank you NextCare!

Josh and Moe were so helpful and did a great job making my son feel at ease! He gets nervous about doctors visits but they made him feel comfortable and took care of him. We only waited about 10 minutes to be seen and I definitely will come here again if need be!

My son and I whole experience at this Urgent Care was amazing! Every staff member we encountered was so, kind, caring, polite, and treated us with respect. We felt welcomed and recommend this facility to anyone in the area who needs to be seen quick with less wait time

Great place for your urgent care needs. Got me back to feeling better. Moe was so helpful and quite gentle with the usually very uncomfortable COVID and flu tests. He was great. Lexi, my attending provider did a great job, she’s Caring and thorough. Thank you very much. Wait time was short especially for a Sunday.

Their online appointment/check-in is great, so convenient. The are an in network provider for the VA, which is great for me. The PA Travis, that Ive seen twice, is personable and professional. He really seems to know his stuff, and trusts the information that the patient gives him.Update: Still great! Went in to get diagnosed with strep throat. In, swabbed, looked at, diagnosed, prescribed, out -- less than 30 minutes. So convenient.

My family has visited NextCare on a few occasions now. Early on (3+ years ago) the people and service were fantastic. However the most recent visits the service has been horrible.They did not fill my prescription after supposedly doing it twice. There is no phone number to get ahold of the office, I had to drive back there to get a paper prescription printed to take somewhere myself.I currently have decent insurance, went there for a fairly routine to me (once a year) allergy visit. They took my copay and said everything was good, come to find out they put four other charges on the visit that resulted in my insurance only paying part of the charge. This was a standard visit, no lab work, no scans...nada just spoke with a staff member and had a prescription created.This is where the fun really started. They have been sending me bills for additional charges. Their website has no place to open an inquiry or email someone there for questions. There is however a phone number to call if you have questions. Ive called this number FIVE TIMES. Each time I selected billing questions the system sent me to hold where I would wait over 35min before it sounds like someone picks up the phone and immediately hangs it up without saying anything (hear the click of the call being answered then a call ended notification).I cannot get thru to anyone in billing questioning for the life of me. However if I select the pay my bill over the phone option, someone picks up the call within ~2min. Attempting to ask them a question is useless, they transfer me back into the billing hold loop.I see now why BBB gives them a horrible score. That will be the last time NextCare sees myself or anyone in my family.

This place was quick and easy to check into. Mo made good of my situation, had us laughing, and gentle with all the normal vitals and test. Monica was wonderful and compassionate when doing the standard checks. Even recommended certain pills to help with meantime. As much as being sick sucks Id come back here again!

We went in for a sports physical for my son and it was quick and easy and we saw Travis and he was great. I can’t remember the name of male who did his vitals but he was awesome with my son. I would recommend

I was feeling very under the weather and they’re the only ones that didn’t have a wait for 3+ hrs. I usually go to Texas MedClinic but now I’ll permanently be going here and letting my family! Staff is amazing and very quick . 10/10 for me! Thank you nextcare !

I have been there 3 times in the past week because I have 2 under 2 and this team is incredible. Even when short handed they provide the best care and are so patient and kind and make the experience there peaceful! ❤️ It’s not the closest urgent care to me but I will continue coming to this one. Absolutely love Dr. Travis and Moe was so patient and fun with both of my boys!

Booking an appointment online was easy. When we arrived we were greeted nicely. Waited maybe 15 minutes and was called to to back. Staff overall was professional and cheerful. My son was assessed, diagnosed and released all within an hour & 15 minutes. I would highly recommend!!!

I am a Veteran and Im lucky enough to utilize Urgent Care if I cant get to the VA.Every time I have to go to NextCare I am always treated kindly, great bedside manners and quick diagnosis.

We had another great experience. Moe & Lexi were both awesome!! Taken care of quickly and efficiently. Moe made jokes with my son and put a smile on his face. When we left he said, that guy is cool!

Mo was so great he was working with such a fun personality and made the visit very nice. Unfortunately, the nurse practitioner on duty that day was unhelpful and not willing to help me and my time of pain and suffering I was told of my OB okayed the prescription that it would be fine but basically if you go to this urgent care they don’t actually do anything for you but charge you and tell you sorry we can’t help you so don’t waste your time coming to this facility unless you just want to give them money to be told we can’t do anything for you. I’ve been here several times and it’s always been good but each time I come now it’s starting to slowly get worse and worse. What’s the point of going to a doctors office if they’re not going to do anything to help you I understood if I was asking for a narcotic or some thing, but I wasn’t as asking for something simple to help relieve some of my symptoms but no, I will never be coming back to this facility because of the specific nurse practitioner, and if you want to save yourself some money, I recommend you don’t

Great experience today. No long wait, in-take nurse asked how I was feeling, PA Travis Forney explained my condition and treatment options extremely well and brought me everything in writing! Everyone was courteous, knowledgeable, helpful and professional! Love the check-in process; you can check-in before you arrive and on your own phone through the Solv App! Close to my house too.

Veronica was very friendly and helpful as soon as we walked in the door. Even though my son was feeling terrible Moe did a great job at making him smile and laugh while getting his vitals. Rahaei was quick with seeing us and getting us our diagnosis. The was hardly any wait time and the service was great thank you guys

Fast check-in and zero wait. There was only one other PT in the waiting room when we got there, however, on a busy day I bet the wait could be substantial. The provider treated my daughter as though she had been a PT for years, yet this was our first visit. Her situation was clearly explained and our course of action was set in motion. This visit was fantastic! The next May not be. It all depends on people.

Next Urgent Care clinic was awesome 🤩 from the staff up front, the nurse/tech and the provider were great!! They saw my son super fast and were able to provide a referral for physical therapy. Definitely will come back here when needed.

On vacation and had to take my kiddo to Urgent Care. We visited this location and the experience could not have been better. Highly recommend Urgent Care and I hope you are as lucky as we were to have Moe Z. to help provide you with care. Moe Z. is a superstar and the type of care giver you want in this setting. Moe Z. is high energy, full of heart and compassion, and definitely loves the work he does.

Provider didnt to want to treat patient. The 9 year old patient had to listen to him explaining the process of microbiology and how the titers will or will not show on a test, really, bedside manner Awful, HATED BEING THERE, felt the provider had a chip on his shoulder not just towards me parent but to my son who is 9 years old. If he can tell he was rude, then WOW. If he doesnt want see or treat people why is he there or even a provider??

My sister cut her finger really badly while cooking dinner and we brought her to NextCare and right off the bat the staff was amazing. Marisela at the front desk was so kind and patient after my sister forgot her insurance card in the panic of everything. She chatted with us as we struggled to look up the information and never made us feel rushed! Then we were brought back by Mo who kept us laughing and made my sister feel so much better when she originally couldn’t stop crying from pain. You can tell he truly cares about his patients and wants to make them feel better! Then the provider Travis was also super amazing! My sister ended up needing stitches and a shot of lidocaine and he talked her through the whole process and kept her thoughts occupied with stories and jokes so she wasn’t as scared! Everyone there was amazing and so welcoming, AND we were in and out in less than an hour! Top notch service! When my sister inevitably slices her hand open again in 6 months we’ll be sure to go there again!

I am retired military but continue to rely on NextCare Urgent Care for our emergency needs/wants. We are always greeted with hardworking and outgoing staff members like Mo. He displays a can do attitude with his extensive knowledge to triage even though he works as an X-Ray Technician. We appreciate PA Travis and his positivity and the process of checking in ran real smooth with the help of Marisela. Thank you..

My experience was a Blessed one. COVID FRIENDLY, COMPASSIONATE, PROFESSIONAL. If you dislocate your finger or broke a bone, Do Not go anywhere. Here they have X-RAY 🩻. I was seen within 10min top. Really like this place but it is going downhill like so many doctors. Being here for 2 hours is not my idea of good service. They aren’t busy, that I could understand. The people who work here are very nice but the wait will keep me from coming back.

I cut my finger real good while cooking dinner tonight. From the moment I walked through the doors, everyone was so nice. Marisela was behind the desk and I was very overwhelmed and forgot my wallet with my insurance card so she waited patiently and was very comforting to me while I looked up all my information. Mo was my nurse and kept me laughing the whole time I was there from evaluation to the stitches and telling me about the after care. I couldn’t get myself to stop crying at first and he didn’t make me feel bad about that, just kept me distracted until I stopped on my own. Dr Travis Forney was the one who got me all fixed up and he was just as nice. I’m a bit of a wimp with pain but he walked me through the whole process as he got me stitched up and kept me distracted by telling me stories and fun facts which I very much appreciated. The entire experience (although I don’t plan to cut my hand and do this again) was exactly what I needed tonight to make me feel better. A++++ service here!

I have always gone to NextCare for my urgent care needs and they have always been efficient and caring, but today I had an appointment and I waited over an hour. Another patient came in 20 minutes late for his appointment and they called him back before me. That was unacceptable, for them to make me wait an hour for a 2 minute visit with the doctor.

Fast, efficient and professional. From start to finish my whole process took about an hour and I was getting a physical for an upcoming oral procedure. The staff was extremely helpful and kind. Ived never enjoyed going to any type of medical facility just because it always means somethings wrong but in this case it was my choice. Check in is easy and they are very thorough . The facility was clean and when I went it wasnt very busy. I would recommend this place whether you need a physical like me or youre in there for an emergency visit. They will take care of you and give you the appropriate next steps if there are any that need to be taken.

Before entering inside, there is a note on the door to give you the option of checking in on your phone. I did so before entering and the moment I stepped inside I was greeted warmly. I was then asked a few question in regards to Covid and some things I didnt fill in properly in regards to insurance. I didnt even wait long before I was called to the back to be seen. Maybe it was because it was a little late in the evening but I really appreciated it. The lady taking the vitals was very kind and understanding despite me being a bumbling mess since I couldnt remember the med that I was on. After that, the physician came in right after and was so kind to talk to. They all were but with a lot of the doctors or nurse practitioners, they felt a bit cold and disassociated, like I was someone to quickly get in and get out as if I was a nuisance. Not once did I ever feel that here. I highly recommend them. And thank-you again ladies!

This place never disappoints. Caring staff and excellent service. I walked in 15 minutes before closing and they treated my daughter with compassion and didn’t make us feel rushed or a nuisance. Front desk staff are friendly which is a major plus.

I would highly recommend this place. They were very fast, very efficient and very friendly. Everything from signing in on your phone, completing the paperwork on your phone, it all made things extremely easy and quick. They were very thorough with my information , and the doctor was extremely helpful. I was in and out very quickly and the compassion from the staff was a very pleasant experience.

I was from out-of-state visiting relatives when I got sick. After being sick for 5 days getting worse each day, my daughter recommended this clinic. The staff was friendly, listened, and the PA was thorough. At the end he recommended against taking an anti-biotic, because he was reasonanly sure the illness was viral rather than bacterial. That was refreshing, because often healthcare providers feel pressured to do something. Instead, he asked me what I was already doing, told me to continue, and gave me instructions regarding what to do if I developed a fever or got worse. Perfect! Exactly what my own doctor always did after determining that an illness is viral rather than bacterial.

Helpful and polite staff. The doctor put my daughter at ease right away. When we found out the nebulizer machine was not covered by our insurance, the doctor immediately offered to allow us to borrow theirs. That is something that we werent expecting but are so grateful for.

Friendly staff. Very thorough. Doctor explained everything clearly to me and my daughter who was the patient. Definitely will come back here again. Thanks guys!!

Pr. Joshua Rahaei was so genuine and in depth with meeting my health needs. Hes such a nice, sweet guy who really ensured that my visit was a comfortable one (because doctors visits, yuck!). NextCare Urgent Care is a VA approved facility for veterans. They will see you for minor health problems. They were very good in analyzing my symptoms and developing a treatment plan.

Giving four stars as I waited close to two hours to see a provider WITH an appointment. Front office was amazing but who has time to wait this long on a daily basis?

Love this urgent care. Fast, friendly and takes children. We’ve been here 3-4 times in the last 6months for myself and my children and every experience has been positive, each time with a different doctor.

Mo the LMRT made my visit enjoyable with his positive and upbeat demeanor. I only came to this facility bc he worked here. Whatever you are paying him isnt enough. Dont let that one get away. PA Lexi was thorough and answered all of my questions.

The front desk staff was awesome and very helpful. I had a mix up with my insurance and the girl in the front called to verify it anyways. When I called back later to fix it, she verified it for me right then and there and fixed my payments. You may have to wait a little to be seen, but it is well worth it. The PA was great, the nurses were great. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Terrible. We took our son here for a possible broke toe or something in his foot. We waited 2 hours to have the PA in there for 60 seconds MAX. To dismiss us by saying “is this your first?” “He’s fine, nothing is broke”. All by only feeling on his foot. No X-ray done. Just told us to give him Motrin and he’d be fine. He refused to walk or put pressure on his foot. We took him to a different place today, HE HAS A FRACTURE! Avoid this place. Go to Fast Aid Urgent Care, they got us in and out WITH X-rays in an hour and actually took the time to talk and diagnose. I will be reporting this PA.

Website said there were 0 patients in line. Drove directly to the location only 5 minutes away and there were 6 patients waiting. Misleading. QR Code sent a text to check in online and the website gave an error. Cant trust the website or application systems, not wasting my time.

Went into Urgent care for a chronic cough. Was welcomed immediately with friendly staff. They took time to listen to my symptoms and I was treated immediately. I highly recommend this Urgent care over any other location in Alamo Ranch.

Obviously no one wants to be at urgent care, no one goes there just for fun. But while I was there getting my issue taken care of Mo did a great job distracting me from the pain housing. He is the best shot in Texas, barely felt a thing.

Awesome place to take my daughter. Everything was clean, very organized, and the process was quick from checking in to being discharged. Dr. Galan was very courteous and patient with my daughter and I.He took time to educated and show me pictures on what to look for instead of just telling me. I appreciate that so much, because someone can explain to you something in their lingo but honestly I’m not a doctor, This place was well worth going to. I did not feel like I was being rushed out the door at anytime during my visit.

Although I did visit on a day where there was no one ahead of me, the service i received was great. I was greeted when i walked in and the front desk lady was very nice and personable. She even had me sit down, foot injury, while she finished my check in and then walked my verification documents out to me so I wouldnt have to move around too much. The back staff Oscar and Pariyanka were great. Very personable and gentle with care. Dr. Gutierrez was thorough and made sure I was satisfied with my diagnosis and treatment and that i was comfortable. The office is very clean and the location is great. I would definitely recommend this care clinic.

Great experience! Doctor diagnosed my ear problem quickly and thoroughly reviewed problem and solution. Also, only waited for a dew minutes before being seen.

Scheduled an appointment at 1:30 but didn’t get seen till 2:30. There were only 2 patients in front of me, but when i finally got seen my doctor examined me for 3 minutes and decided i just needed a steroid shot & some antibiotics.

Everyone was very nice and attentive! The front desk nurse was kind while working with me on the paperwork and insurance. Even though I came in close to closing time for what I thought was an ear infection I was still seen and treated effectientlly without being rushed at all. The doctor explained what was going on with my inner ear as well as explaining above and beyond how my ear was effected with all the temperature changes along with a lot of good information. Im so glad I found this clinic!

I received the greatest customer service from everyone that assisted me during my visit at the clinic. Kelsy went above and beyond in informing me of everything I had inquired during my call, yes, I had a lot of questions and she was very knowledgeable, courteous and helpul throughout! Jonathan, bless his heart! I felt no pain nor discomfort during the procedure. PA-C informed me on the next steps to follow, all was taken care of very fast! I will definitively recommend it and they will be my first choice from now on, thank you everyone!

The whole experience was great! I have White Coat System and the Medical Assistant and the Nurse Practitioner completely eased my nerves and they had the best bedside manner. They were wonderful and they really knew what they were doing. I live in San Diego, so I had to find an Urgent Care here in San Antonio and I’mso glad that I found this Clinic. Came in for a rapid covid test, made an appointment online, waited maybe 5 min after arrival. Test was swabbed quick, nurse was very nice about it. Doctor who went over results was very nice and had a great positive attitude. Would definitely come again for any needs.
