I recommend this place to anyone with kids who needs help getting stuff. They have helped me in the past. Now every chance I get I take donations to give back to other families in need.

I’ve been coming here since my first pregnancy my daughter is 4. I’ve never had problems till today. Since I always usually ask for Gennie but today she was busy so I got another lady. She was pretty rude. Seemed like she just wanted to get thru the day. She didn’t want to give diapers for my oldest child. Because she’s 4 and she said “well she needs to be potty trained” even for my 3 year old I was so upset. When she told me that even thou I told her both my kids are going thru therapy. I hope I don’t get her again.

The women at birthline are so caring and have a lot of useful information for people who are homeless, have kids, pregnant etc. I came here last year when pregnant & looking for housing, they were able to give me info on various shelters etc. I lost contact with their facility over the year after having my baby but recently called for an appointment to get help with diapers. Making an appointment was easy over the phone and they were able to see me 2 weeks from that phone call. I went in today and was happy to see the director again after some time & to receive 50 diapers, a pack of 80 wipes for my 10 month old. I recommend them if you are in a bind and need help- although I also recommend considering the cost of travel etc if you do not drive or have a ride and have to take the bus or lyft because you may end up using more resources than if you just went to a store near by to get what you needed ..(If you are curious about my demographics or what i needed to show to receive services- I am american but would be considered Hispanic. I do not have a source of income. & expressed i needed diapers) Thank you birthline san diego I appreciate you 💛

People claim to help and goo and aww over you baby but dont really help. These agencies are here to help babies they so called love. I show up 1 minute after they close. Cant accept me. I have zero dollars left and no formula. All I need is that for my baby people so called care for. How hard is it for you to check me in and hand me a can a formula so I can get by till the second which is on Tuesdays SMH. Rather have a baby starve than accept me literally being 1 minute late. Shame. Shows they dont really care. So by the book.
