HRC Fertility - San Diego

My wife and I had a fantastic experience here. We were given an appointment almost immediately after inquiring about HRC fertility, and they were knowledgeable and kind when answering all of our questions. The staff is super friendly and caring, while the facility is nice and new. I highly recommend HRC Fertility and Dr. Wittenberger.

I had an amazing experience with HRC Fertility. Dr. Wittenberger took the time to answer all of my questions and explain every step of the egg freezing process. Once the egg freezing cycle started, he kept me informed of changes, timelines and expectations. His great bedside manner helped alleviate any anxiety about the process. The nursing and surgical staff were kind and helpful on the day of the egg retrieval and the HRC team called to follow-up after the procedure to make sure I was feeling okay and didnt have any questions or concerns.Emily is the wonderful coordinator at HRC fertility. She was organized, attentive and prompt with her emails and instructions. She was able to work with my schedule and I had no issues getting in for appointments, ultrasounds and labs.Im so appreciative of the positive experience I had with HRC Fertility and highly recommend them to anyone who is interested in freezing their eggs.

Dr. Wittenberg is the best doctor I’ve ever encountered. He is professional, answered all of my questions, and has the sweetest demeanor. His team at the SD location is really hard working, they answer your emails and phone calls in a timely manner. I’ve been at this clinic for a few months now and it’s bittersweet to say goodbye to such an amazing team. Thank you Dr. Wittenberger, Emily, and Courtney for all your support during this baby making journey.Highly recommended!

Dr. Wittenberger and his staff was nothing short of amazing. They took great care of my wife and I, and they were always there to help us, answer any question we had, and calm us when we were nervous. Please dont take my word for it, give them a try, and you wont regret it.

Beyond thrilled with the experience my wife and I had at HRC fertility with Dr. Wittenberger and his team (shoutout to Emily and Courtney!) We did both an egg retrieval for my wife and the implementation for me to carry. They answered so many of my questions with a level of care and personalization I have never experienced with healthcare providers. As Tricare members, Dr Witts experience with Navy medical care was critical. They were incredibly flexible and understanding amidst our chaotic work schedules and some last minute appt changes. Dr. Witt and his team became like family over the last ten months - it will be sad to “graduate” as we go to an OB. Could not recommend the practice more highly, especially as a queer couple! Hope to be in San Diego when it’s time to try for another kiddo!

I had such a positive experience with Dr. Wittenberger and his team. Everyone was supportive, informative, and responsive throughout the whole process. Even with my busy work schedule, the HRC team was flexible and accommodating. I highly recommend their services and advice for any individual or couple seeking fertility assistance! 10/10 stars!

We’ve been seeing quite a bit of doctors during our fertility journey and Dr.Wittenberger is absolutely the best! I was going to leave a review once we finish this journey so our Doctor doesn’t get too busy but I got upset when I noticed a low rating of their new facility in San Diego (we started our journey in Carlsbad and now we are mostly seen in San Diego). We use our insurance vs paying with cash and we get the best treatment! Unfortunately, there are lots of couples that struggle with infertility today and the fertility teams are very busy! We, as the patients, should understand that.Shout-out to two pretty ladies Emily and Courtney. Thank you for all you do!

I went through the egg freezing process last fall when I discovered that Tricare (military health insurance) does not cover this for women. The staff was very transparent about the cost, and even found a way to make it cheaper with their 35 anniversary package. They took care of me and kept me informed throughout the whole process- I even was able to take a planned ski trip while I was completing injections and made it home in time for the holidays, having the procedure done a few days beforehand.This is such an emotional process and everyone in the office is extremely sensitive to this. If I could make one recommendation, it would be the option of a ride service, since after the procedure a ride home is required. Patients cant drive themselves after anesthesia, and uber isnt allowed- I am lucky and was able to find a trusted friend to give me a ride, but not all patients are so lucky.Overall: love the team here, keep up the good work!

I could not recommend HRC Fertility more!Dr. Coffler is the absolute best! He was so kind and patient, he truly exceeded all expectations for my experience. Cortney Dulce, Emily, Natalija Matic and truly all of the staff were so helpful throughout the duration of my treatment. I felt so well taken care of and looked after. If you’re looking for a doctor who genuinely cares and is an absolute expert you’ve come to the right place!

My wife and I have been well cared for at HRC and will be moving into the next stages of this process very soon. I have never felt anything less than welcome at this clinic, even as a tricare client.

Never heard back from anyone at that office after my first consultation.I was a Tricare member so maybe they saw us a lower in their category of costumers but yeah… Dr. was also very rude just not even explaining or show any care for us.
