I had the procedure done just a little over a month ago. Easiest quickest procedure. Honestly the best experience I’ve ever had on an operating table and I just had lasik a few months ago, which if anyone has had it done, it’s pretty quick.Dr. Bastuba’s jokes don’t let up and I couldn’t stop laughing the entire time… Or it could’ve been the nitrous talking. Either way, it was quick, pain free and I got a free Dr. Pepper at the end. Walked right out, followed their directions to a tee and had absolutely no issues since.Definitely looking forward to the follow up in two months!

5 stars, amazing service. I was scared to get the procedure, but they have this whole process dialed - its seriously like 15 minutes. I liked the laughing gas, def worth it. Ive heard a couple horror stories about vasectomies, but Dr. Bastuba made sure the process was super simple. Really the biggest pain was scheduling it - they were booked out like 2 months when I got an appointment.

I had an amazing experience at Dr. Bastubas office! It was an extremely pain free and comfortable experience for me. I honestly haven’t felt better! With 4 kids and rising cost in California I am grateful for this procedure, I honestly have not had one negative side affect thus far! Praise God!

Dr. Bastuba and Jennifer are the absolute best! Recovery was too easy, just ice packs for a few days and taking it easy. I had no bruising, swelling or sharp pains, just a minor dull ache that was easily solved by some tylenol. There is even a free soda at the end!I do also want to call out the aftercare, both Jennifer and Dr. Bastuba reached out during recovery to check on me and see how I was feeling. I even had a non related medical issue 3 weeks later and texted the doc for advice, he was so kind enough to text and call to give me his opinion and advice, top notch service!If you are looking for a fertility clinic, I cant recommend or praise a better person for the job than Dr. Bastuba and his care team.

Amazing work! The procedure took maybe 30 minutes in total, and Doctor Bastuba was very comforting and ensured I felt zero pain throughout. Stayed off my feet for three days and felt at the very worst a dull ache akin to a bruise, but no sharp or even noticeable pain. Really didnt need the ice packs as often as I thought I would, but they definitely helped in the mornings.Two weeks later, I felt good enough to continue a light weightlifting routine, and three weeks I felt back to my old self.Would highly recommend the No-Scalpel-No-Needle vasectomy to anyone interested in birth control.

Dr. Bastuba and Jennifer LeVine were fantastic. The entire staff was professional, courteous, and compassionate. Moreover, they were very efficient. I went in for the procedure and I was leaving the office about 1/2 hour later. No pain at all. I will refer them to anyone I know who wants the procedure. Than you again!

The experience I had at this fertility clinic was exceptional. I’m a lot younger than most people who get a vasectomy and while I could notice some initial tension because of this at first, the staff was nothing but polite and never really commented on my age. Despite some very mild tension that only lasted through the first appointment, everyone treated me with a lot of respect. Everyone seems to know their job fully and everything runs smoothly and on time at this clinic. I got to meet a lot of the staff here, at least surface level, and they are all really fun, and interesting personalities. They all seem to really enjoy their job and the people they work with, it almost feels like a nice office family in there. The staff and Doctor Bastuba himself were all very keen when it came to informing me and, keeping my best interests in mind. Getting a vasectomy can be somewhat nerve racking, but I don’t think I could have received better care and comfort at any other clinic. Lots of thanks to all the staff from the front desk, to the sample analysts, to the nurses, and of course Dr. Bastuba.

I didn’t know I was going to a comedy show to get a vasectomy but it was truly a hilarious experience..maybe the nitrous had a part in it but either way it was a great overall experience from start to finish. The whole staff were very professional and organized. Dr B had the perfect blend of professionalism and comedic relief to bring some levity to a procedure that comes with a great deal of anxiety. Mel was a godsend with the nitrous..don’t think twice, get the nitrous and you won’t regret it. Tanya was awesome and capped off all the details. Overall a very caring staff and pleasant surprise to how painless the procedure itself was.

Like any surgery, theres worries and doubts. With that said, Dr. Bastuba in person and staff answered questions and concerns. They were attentive and responsive to my thoughts and feelings throughout the entire process. If a vasectomy is something youre looking to have accomplished, I recommend this group. I personally think it was worth it and so does my wife.

Dr Bustuba is A++++. He has a Very professional staff that explained everything in consulatation and on procedure day everything went just as was explained to me. There was no pain, swelling at all afterwards and 3 weeks later im back to my regular routine without any issues. Highly recommended.

I would highly recommend anyone to not go to these guys. They will be quick to take your money,but if you need to reschedule(fee),if youre 20 min theres a fee. Dr. Mel is the most disrespectful doctor Ive ever talked to. He had the nerve to yell at me(literally) and tell me how selfish I was for showing up 20 min late(traffic). He is the guy that runs the whole operation. GO TO FLORIDA AND ENJOY REAL CUSTOMER SERVICE

Dr. Bastuba is was great! Extremely professional and provide good laughs throughout the procedure. The Nurse Tanya and the man in charge over the laughing gas made the procedure extremely pleasant and also provided good laughs and great care. Highly recommend

I have been seeing Dr. Bastuba for the past 3 months and he has been incredibly attentive , helpful and knowledgeable for all my needs so far. He is also very personable so it makes it much easier to get help from him with my issues. I must admit, I was beyond skeptical going in for my procedure however, Dr. Bastuba and Ms. LeVine insured me that all is well and walked me through the entire process. They were very professional and answered all my questions and concerns. The procedure took less than 30 minutes from prepping to completion. I felt no pain the entire procedure and Dr. Bastuba kept me informed of every step throughout the process.Post procedure, I was very sore and prepared for this with medication prescribed by Dr. Bastuba. I iced the area down for a few days stayed put in bed and by day 10 post procedure, I was pain free and back doing daily activities. I’m sure the recovery time varies depending on age but since I’m an older dude, it took a bit longer.Dr. Bastuba, thank you sir for a flawless procedure and huge thanks to your staff for their professionalism and knowledge. I would give this place a 10 out of 10 rating and recommend everyone to get that procedure done here!!!!!!! God bless.

While the name of the office doesnt indicate it as their specialty, I see the doctor and Jennifer Levine, along with the entire staff for other male aging issues. They have always been friendly, thorough and professional. I thank them for their expertise and kindness.

Was referred by my PCP for general prostrate issues. Jennifer is excellent and while at first I was not sure about using a female urologist she has proven to be excellent and very knowledgeable. I would highly recommend the office based on my experience .

I can honestly say this experience was one of the best medical experiences I have ever had. Dr. B is awesome. His staff was great and made me feel very comfortable. The initial orientation/video was to the point and the actual procedure was the same. I used my medical benefits which paid for a portion and I only had to pay a small out of pocket expense for his services. I heard some people usually have complications but I had zero. I was almost able to walk normal when leaving his office and down through the elevator. I followed doctors orders for the most part and all has worked out great for me. I had my procedure back in February of 2016 as a birthday gift for myself so I am fully recovered and I definitely cant make any more babies at this point. This also makes my girlfriend and I extremely happy...LOL Dr. B has my approval.

Dr. Bastuba has got to be, hands down, the best physician in the US in the area of male fertility/vasectomy reversal. This surgeon is a very positive person who goes to great lengths to make the patient feel comfortable. He gives you all the information you need and has a staff that is second to none when it comes to informing you and make you feel welcomed in San Diego. The procedure is incredibly un-stressful. The anesthesiologist is great. The nursing staff are incredible. They have accumulated simply so much experience that nothing is left to chance to include follow-ups. It is difficult to express just how satisfied I am with this physician. Sufficient is to say that, if you want the best vasectomy reversal physician on planet earth, look no further, this is your guy. Period.

My fiancé had his vasectomy almost 10 years ago. We were nervous and hesitant that getting a vasectomy reversal would not work. Not to mention the fact, its not cheap! After our first consultation with Dr. Bastuba, most of our concern was gone. He did a very thorough consultation and had a great bedside manner to go with it. We felt comfortable and confident to move forward with scheduling the surgery.We had another consultation prior to the surgery for last minute questions or concerns. Dr. Bastuba went over, in detail, the exact process, potential complications, length of surgery, recovery, etc. He provided illustrations and explanations really showing his expertise,The day of surgery he met with us prior to the scheduled time to answer any last minute questions. He told me he would update me as soon as he was finished. He did indeed, the surgery on his part was successful. My fiancés recovery was pretty uneventful. We did the two sperm counts and followed the instructions we were given for post surgery. We were told that if successful, most women get pregnant 6 months to a year post reversal.We had the reversal July 2013, I found out I was pregnant in March 2014 and we are expecting a baby boy in about 3 weeks! There arent enough words to thank Dr. Bastuba for giving us the miracle of life.

I had a vasectomy after having had two kids in a previous marriage. My wife and I decided to undergo vasectomy reversal after we married in 2010 (16 years after vasectomy) to add one more child to our family. We heard about Dr. Bastuba through a friend who had done the same procedure with him a few years before. In January, 2011 the reversal was performed. By the time I recovered I had to go back to work with a traveling company, so for a few months we couldnt work on having a baby. When I came home, we were pregnant within 4 months!
