Planned Parenthood - Euclid Avenue Francis Torbert Center

I have came here before in the past but the parking situation wasn’t the best and decided not to go back for a while. Due to my work schedule I am now able to come here earlier and I realized that they have new staff. Everyone is super nice from front desk staff to medical assistants, nurses and physicians. I have nothing but good things to say about this office, they care about you and your health. They always make sure I have a next visit appt and I’m up to date with all my woman’s exams. I feel comfortable coming here, everyone treats you with respect and the ambient is hospitable.

Great staff. Ive never had a bad experience at planned parenthood and this location was no exception. Yeah, you have to wait, but its often not all that long and its understandable. They do everything they can to give everybody the time they need to address concerns, they arent in the back wasting time.The medical assistant and provider were very helpful and took care of me. The guy working at the front desk was also really kind and amicable.Dont forget to donate whatever you can if you are getting family pact. Planned parenthood is essential to my health and the health of generations to come.

Extremely mad!! I went to make an appointment yesterday. And the girl made the appointment for today at 11:30. I told her I needed to be seen soon and since they werent taking walk ins, she made an appointment for the following day which was for today. I arrived at 10:45. I thought I needed to get there early since it was my first time. I went to check in, I gave her my appointment card that was given to me yesterday and the lady said your appointment is until 11:30, come back at that time or you can wait in the here. So I stayed in the lobby waiting. Then at 11:30 I go to check in with another person and that person tells me that my appointment is until Thursday!!! I never made an appointment for Thursday! I work Thursdays all day! They told me Wednesday at 11:30 yesterday when I made the appointment! I made sure it was Wednesday morning because I am off those days. This person had me waiting in the lobby so that another person can tell me that I cant be seen??!!! Oh and because it was going to be their lunch time too. I work in the medical field as well. This is terrible service! I did not want to go to the place I work at obviously for privacy reasons. This place needs to learn how to schedule appointments! Theres people that really need to know about their health and they make arrangements at work or at school to be seen by a doctor. I am never coming to this place again. If they cant even make an appointment right, how am I supposed to trust them with my lab work . And the girl that made my appointment was sitting next to the girl that told me that my appointment was until Thursday. And she stayed quiet . Dont come to this place .

Front desk is very rude. Just overall bad energy. Had us waiting over an hour and told me I couldn’t help my boyfriend fill out his paperwork even though I explained to them. Nurses and doctors in the back were great though

The people at the front desk were very unfriendly. Turned me away from an appointment I made a week ago because I’m congested. I asked if they can at least give me another appointment as soon as possible and she said “unfortunately At this point just call this number to make an appointment” hands over a card and makes me leave. Very very rude. I went to a clinic to take covid test immediately after and turns out I AM NEGATIVE. They need to hire new people at the front desk. Should’ve read reviews before coming to this clinic

Ive been waiting over an hour for my appointment. Ive never waited this long at any other PP location. The guy at the front desk is incredibly nice, the women not so much.Fyi: the parking lot is tiny and a mess. People park like a-holes and take two spots (which are already tiny).I would avoid this location at all costs.

My appointment was today, at 9:40 am I was in a bed clothes less for about an hour and 20 minutes, the MA was very nice and polite. No complaints there. I do understand that they only had one practitioner, how ever what I dont understand is why schedule so many patients when theres not enough help, after waiting for so long I decided to put my clothes on and take off, I did notice other patients doing the same. It was unbelievable. Very disappointed.

I always go to Chula Vista but they ran out of my birth control so I had to come here. Let me start off my saying the girl in the front desk is rude I walked in at 12:05 for my appointment at 12:20 she said she could not do anything until 12:20. I understand not get seen until 12:20 but you most definitely check me in. All she said was tell me to sit and come to the window to check in later. Let me say there was no one else waiting she just sat there doing for the next 15 mins.

I dont typically write reviews, but when I first considered visiting this Planned Parenthood location, I was admittedly nervous to see the average review rating, so I thought Id send a note to offset that misconception (pun intended).I came here for an IUD, which I had a lot of anxiety around from having had one five years ago that I immediately had removed because of said anxiety. I realize now that after my experience here yesterday, my anxiety stemmed from my provider experience at the time, not from the IUD itself.From start to finish, the level of care at this Planned Parenthood was impeccable. The women who checked me in at the front desk were kind and efficient--it appeared that one woman was training the other, and it was nice to see how patient she was as she guided the trainee through the process while still remaining attentive to me. From there, I was taken back by the medical assistant, Jocelyn, who was immediately disarming and helpful--Jocelyn was easy to talk to and informative about the procedure without being overly clinical. The provider who inserted the IUD, Doris, a nurse practitioner, also exuded a similar warmth as soon as she walked into the room and was very knowledgeable and responsive to my questions. She narrated what she was doing every step of the way, and while it was incredibly painful, it was over quickly.That experience alone wouldve been enough for me to sing their praises, but as I was checking out to leave after leaving the exam room, I began sweating, feeling nauseated, and feeling like I was going to pass out--another medical assistant noticed that I looked pale from down the hall and immediately jumped into action, having me sit down and wheeling me in an office chair to an exam room to lie down with crackers and juice. Doris reappeared alongside her, and they stayed with me until my blood pressure went back to normal and I felt otherwise fine. I was told it was a vasovagal response and that it was typical for some women to experience after insertion, but despite how chaotic it felt for me, they remained reassuring and calm.I was still in a bit of shock that it had all happened upon leaving, so I also really wanted to write this review to emphasize my gratitude for the group of people working at this location. And Im sorry I didnt catch the name of the assistant who spotted me in the hall (maybe it was Yvette?), but I cannot thank you enough!There are not enough anecdotes on the internet of positive stories of IUD insertion, and even with my post-procedural response, I cannot believe I waited so long to get one again when this facility and staff exists. Im still not sure how the IUD will play out for me, but I already feel more confident and hopeful given my experience here yesterday. Thank you again!

Front desk was absolutely friendly and accommodating. It was a quick check in and not a long wait.The doctors are also friendly and caring. Very informative and a sense of care.I cant speak higher of this locating!!

My wife and I visited a month ago. The front desk were kind of rude but didnt really bother us. The provider or doctor was really really nice we liked her. Super helpful and friendly. She gave my wife medication and told us we needed to come back in 3 weeks just to see results on blood work, and to let her know if my wife starts bleeding from medication- which she shouldnt have. My wife did and we went 3 weeks after our appointment was at 3:15 but my wife gets out of work at 3 and her boss rarely lets her leave early but she did and we got there at exactly the time, but there was 2 girls in line. We got to the front and the lady said let me see if they can still attend you. My wife was like but we were in line and she said hold up. Then she said yeah we gotta reschedule. So we were upset because we have work and my wife can only do Wednesdays so we had to wait another week. Ok next week is here the appointment was at 3:30 they call and say we need to schedule you an earlier time for the studies we have to do and so she said fine 2:30 she was just gonna ask her boss. They call back again the next day and say the provider is not gonna be in that if i wanna schedule for tomorrow. I feel extremely bad for the doc she was so nice but this staff is just horrible we will not go back again. Do not reccomend and theres always some cholos out front too. Parking is packed. Find a better one.

They need to get trustworthy front desk people, the lady did not seem like it. I did not feel comfortable at all and felt like she was lying to me the whole time. Also didnt help me with what I needed. She has a bit of an attitude, just the way she looked and sounded she is not happy to work there.

Great Excellent doctors and great nurses. But the front desk only one girl is not that friendly. The other front desk staff is very courteous.Their phone service real bad. Today when i called their Intro is way too long and very annoying and they say they open at 8am and the phone says theyre closed. They dont open at 8am at all. They were closed today. Its not a holiday. Incredible! 👎

I would give it a lower rating if I could. Came in on an appointment after being turned down as a walk in at the El cajon location. Front desk wan was rude which wouldnt bother me. Then as Im waiting for the doctor a nurse comes in and hands me a panflit for Tips on how to loose weight. I was not seeing them for an issue on my weight and I am extremely offended. The nurse was also very condescending in regard to my partners. Do yourself a favor and avoid this location at all cost

Appointments were easy to get here. The front staff was friendly and Doctor Kelly was accommodating and caring.

The people who work here do not know how to properly perform their jobs, it was a complete waste of my time and I still had to reschedule. I wasnt checked in and they told me my prescription was expired which it wasnt. Im not sure what kind of training they get but planned parenthood needs to step it up.

Its an hr from my appt time and still waiting not sure if they forgot i am here. Check in was fast vitasls were taken right away hp also quick since i have waited for a provider for 45 min. I just need a refill rx for bc.😡😡😡

It was pretty quick. From past experience I know that the PPH in Chula Vista takes forever, so I go to this one on Euclid. The staff is nice. Its clean.

Alot of bad reviews. Dont know why! Not many people in waiting room. Was in and out with appt in a hour. Good compared to other locations.

Horrible communication over phone. Went the other day when I had an appointment and they said I canceled even though I never did.

Sucks too long of wait when you have a appointment and they make you wait more than a hour, and see walk ins before you..lame and ghetto
