Dr. Turner did my C-Sections 18 and 16 years ago and he is a fantastic surgeon. I am now excited to be a patient of Dr. Turner again for different reasons. He spent a lot of time with me going over the protocol and discussing my options. I received a call prior to my visit going over the important information and preparing me for my procedure. He is conservative and smart. His staff is very friendly and helpful too.

Dr. Turner is incredible. He a great listener. Hes up on all the latest procedures and his medical expertise to beautifully supportive for my needs. I just sent my 30-something daughter to him. She said she wanted a woman MD, but our little town is home to only a few good endocrinologist. I happen to think Dr. Turner is the best. NOW about his staff - Tracy has been in the office for as long as Ive been coming there. Shes smart and kind. Melissa is newer, but shes wonderful, too. I like an office where theres continuity, particularly in this world where things often feel discombobulated!

Dr. Turner has been a trusted confident for over 26 years (He delivered my twins, totally healthy and full term at that!!). He has always presented himself in the utmost professional manner and is very well-informed on the most current topics and treatments. April 2018: Dr Turner is terrific but his front office may be slipping a bit. Ive had a couple issues with the communication in my short time as a patient. A well functioning front office is pretty important and gives patients the confidence they need to feel.June 2018 update: Ive been in contact a few more times with his office since this post and Im pleased to say things seem to have gotten better compared to my initial experience.

Duncan Turner has been my Dr for over 14 years. He was a state of the art surgeon then and still is constantly evaluating new procedures. He is very communicative and easy to discuss options.with. The office is friendly and efficient.

For over a decade, Duncan Turner and the team at Turner Medical Arts has always been a trusted place for many medical and aesthetic concerns of mine. As a Santa Barbara local, I am so grateful to have such a high level of womens health care in our community. They are leaders in the field of womens aging health needs and concerns!

Several years ago, I consulted Dr. Turner for a second opinion. I had cystic ovaries confirmed by ultrasound and was told by another physician that I needed incisional surgery to remove my ovaries and that I had a 30%-40% of cancer. I went to Dr. Turner for a second opinion. Dr. Turner examined me and performed another ultrasound in his office. No sending me off to another facility and no waiting. At that point, he told me I had a 2%-3% chance of there being cancer. I shall never forget the relief that I felt when he told me this! I welcomed his calm, kind, reassuring manner and I was spared days/weeks of worry and an invasive surgery. Shortly thereafter, Dr. Turner removed my ovaries laparoscopically, same day surgery, and I was back at work within days with MINIMAL discomfort.When I see Dr. Turner for my yearly pelvic exam, I appreciate that he addresses the spectrum of women’s health, such as weight (BMI, body fat %, etc.), my general health (heart, lungs, bowel, etc.), my mental/emotional health. An ultrasound is included in the exam, if needed. He takes his time with me. And, if I am feeling at all anxious, he senses that and both verbally and non-verbally manages to put me at ease.At this point in time, I have been Dr. Turners patient for over 20 years.
