CAN Community Health - Sarasota

My wife has been a dental patient of CAN Sarasota for about four years. We have always been totally pleased with the friendly and professional services received here. Top notch in all areas. State of the art equipment, clean comfortable environment and outstanding staff. Dr. Denis along with Tina and other staff are all amazing. Just when we thought it couldnt get any better...along comes Penny. She is the nicest, most knowledgable, thorough and skilled hygienist either of us has ever had. My wifes dental health has improved dramatically thanks to the entire wonderful and caring staff at CAN. We sincerely thank you.

Dr. Denis Michon and her assistant, Tina were outstanding on every visit. The staff here is hands down nothing short of phenomenal. The work they are doing everyday is truly life-changing. Brigid is one of my favorite people in the world, always kind and sensitive to everyones needs. Barb is the best nurse, shes funny and always leaves me with a smile. Jazmin is the sweetest human being and is always helpful to everyone. Melissa is the best case worker you could ask for. She is easy to talk to and makes filling out paperwork, a task that can be cumbersome in itself, a breeze. I love my experience with CAN Community Health Sarasota. Thank you all for always being there and for the amazing work you do for me every day.

Kortney the receptionist at the North Port location is not friendly and busy on social media the entire time we spoke with her. She is not attentive, rude, and should not be working a front desk position. She belongs in a stock room. She has no personality and no compassion for us patients. If I were you I would not trust this company as they hire lazy 40 years olds that care too much about social media then us, their patients.

All of the staff at this office go above and beyond! I have always been scared of the dentist and I no longer am after coming here. Dr. Dennis is great & so are all of the dental assistants & hygienists. I had several fillings done here and cleanings. I recently had my teeth cleaned by GiGi and she was awesome! So friendly, kind and understanding! Tina in the office is also amazing, very helpful! She went above and beyond to try and help me sort out my insurance issue. Everyone here is so friendly and helpful and they make sure to take great care of you. Thank you to everyone!

I recently had my teeth cleaned at CAN on 1231 N Tuttle, and I would like to congratulate the staff for their service level. The scheduling was smooth and the staff at the desk was welcoming. Special thanks to the hygienist Savannah, who took her time to provide good care and was was very pleasant to interact with!

Mrs.Z was so cool and understanding and I feel comfortable about my diagnosis for once.

Jasmyn does an excellent job at the front desk helping walk ins , and if they are unable to be seen here , they get an idea of where to find services.Clients are always greeted in a friendly manner .Empathy comes in many forms for example; Jasmyn is careful with our personal information privacy by speaking names , and other details at an appropriate level .She juggles many clients all at once , as it seems this place , like most others , is understaffed in the front .Empathetic customer service is a rarity and hopefully is not overlooked .Worked in front desk positions many times .Excellence is under appreciated

Good day world!First off I’m not a Google poster or writer to tell you the God honest truth however I felt the need to write this. The service I received & the assistance I received from both Danielle Trujillo and Kourtney was something I felt I need to write a review on. There customer service was amazing, there assistance to get what I needed done was amazing, and not to mention they worked be on there hours to assist me with what I needed. A five star ⭐️ Isn’t good enough they need more of a 10 star ⭐️. They helped me not one day but from start to finish & was amazing again. Thank you Danielle T. & Kourtney!

One of the most well-organized and efficient and caring places that I have been to. My first appointment for intake to see what I qualified for was supposed to be an hour and yet took all day--and was well worth it! Social worker Angel was indeed an angel. She worked with me through her lunch hour and the rest of the day 2 find out what I was approved for and indeed got me approved for health insurance and food assistance. I was so overwhelmed at the kindness shown to me and the effort and hard work that was put forth on my case.Its no wonder they have expanded over the years and have been written up positively in several Publications. I highly recommend this practice to anyone.

Very nice people :-) when they took my temperature i had been sitting outside in long sleeves for a while and so i was Warm but they let me sit in the AC for a little while before re-checking my temperature and letting me get tested. i think its super cool that theyre working to prevent the spread of HIV n i am very happy with my experience :-)

I want to thank Tina in the dental office for her recent help. She went out of her way to make sure I was ok. Also my follow up care with the dentist and hygienist was excellent

Love this place Been taking care of me for about 20 years now. Dr. S is the best and the front office staff are very good, very personable. All of them like family.

Excellent care by very caring people.

I tried 3 times to contact these people (once by letter in the mail, 2 times by voicemail) and they never got back to me. With the type of service they offer, youd figure theyd be the type to cater to the community and its needs. Nope. They even offered HIV testing at my college and....never came back to deliver results. So, if someone who attended my college lived in Punta Gorda, that person had to travel all the way to Sarasota in order to get their results. Instead of rescheduling a visit back to Venice (the college), they left all the students who did the responsible thing and got HIV tested to travel to Sarasota to get their results. Or, for me, they left me in the dark after contacting them 3 times (I was willing to take the trip to Sarasota). On a serious note, if someone was sick with HIV they would never know thanks to these people. Steer real clear of these people.

Tristen triaged me, but if I had to guess he didn’t go to MA school. First, he couldn’t find a vein, then stuck the lateral vein & fished for blood😡. I gave him 2 sticks and each time he didn’t stick my medial vein & used butterfly needles. Butterfly needles are for skinny people & children, & he should’ve used a vacutainer since I’m a large human
