Glow Natural Health Center

On Monday I went to get a massage at Glow Natural Health Center. The masseur pressed my feet way too strong. It was very painful and I told him. He never did an assessment to make sure I could handle this pressure. It was my first visit for a massage but I have been a patient for over a year in agopunture. My massage was at 1pm and in the evening at 5pm I started having pain. The day after was worst. I called them to see if they could see me or help me. I asked to talk to the manager. They kept saying that it was normal and there was nothing they could do. I ended up having to see a sport medicine doctor at UW. I notified them and they still do not care. They torn my foot ligament and impacted the bottom tissue part of my foot. I am with a boot now and crutches. I am taking strong pain killers for the pain and icing every 1 hour. A true nightmare that I do not know yet how long it will take to recover.The worst is the masseur or the manager of the business have not called me back offering any help or at least refunded me of the massage. They said if I wanted to do agopunture I would need to pay for. I told them I communicated I do not want any more treatment in their office after I was seriously hurt. They said if I would cancel agopunture they would charge me a cancellato fee.Stay away from this business if you care about your health and you are looking for professional who can seriously help you get better not worst.

Everyone at GLOW is great, but Rachelle Chung is exceptional. I had done 6 egg retrieval treatments before seeing her. She recommended glutathione and low level laser therapy on top of my accupuncture sessions, and we finally got the two euploid embryos needed to move to next steps. Thank you again Rachelle!

From the very start, your experience at Glow will be the best. They are friendly, efficient, and very in-tune with their patients. I couldnt ask for more from the providers I visit. From acupuncture, to massage therapy, to naturopath options, your health will be well taken care there.

I started seeing Ana 2 years ago and my experience has been life changing. I cameto Glow Natural Health Center for fertility purposes. After the first appointment I feltempowered and had tools to help cope and be able to improve my position. I received suggestions for diet, supplements, and lifestyle advice that helped change a situation I felt powerless in. During my IVF cycle the statistics my doctor gave me were not promising. With one cycle I was not expected to get any embryos. During my cycle I saw Ana for acupuncture and light therapy. Both of which I credit a great deal to being able to have two healthy embryos. At the beginning of last year my husband and I were able to conceive naturally and I saw Ana every week through the first trimester. Aside from the assistance with my fertility seeing Ana has helped improve my sleep and immensely lower stress levels. I can’t praise and thank Ana enough for all she’s done for my family. I recommend Glow Natural Health to all my friends and family.

I’ve been a patient at Glow Natural Health Center for over 15 years. Great central location in Madison Valley, easy parking, online scheduling, a top-notch front office staff and an excellent group of friendly, compassionate providers - what more could I ask! I especially appreciate how well the providers work together to coordinate care for their shared patients, and how organized their insurance claim and billing services are. This can make or break the patient experience in any physician’s office, and Glow gets it right every time.

Great spot with two locations and multiple services. Easy online booking system and they accept insurance! I see the acupuncturists and chiropractor here.

Ive been coming to Glow over the past year for acupuncture for things like pinched nerves, strained muscles, and a general curiosity in acupuncture. Every experience Ive had has been great. Everyone really cares and listens to you about your health concerns, and is thoughtful about how they treat you. Youre not going to get the same experience every time you go in because they really treat you based on your needs, which I love. I highly recommend Glow, theyre super knowledgeable about the body and their practice!

Went there for a prenatal massage. They bill your insurance if you have a prescription from your provider. It was a fine experience, but nothing mind blowing.

I can’t recommend Glow and Becca (my acupuncturist) enough! I’ve been seeing Becca for the last year and a half, through IVF and now pregnancy. She’s incredibly knowledgeable, gentle and I can say for certain the acupuncture has had a lasting impact on my health. My husband sees her too!

Anne is a gifted and skilled massage therapist. Glow is a friendly and supportive practice.

Excellent experience with Rachelle for both post surgical pain and fertility acupuncture. Had trouble getting pregnant with my first baby, but I swear her acupuncture treatment is what got me pregnant so quickly with my second. She was helpful, understanding and skilled throughout my journey with acupuncture.

Dr. Derek is incredible! He has not only helped me with my nerve pain management, but his incredible works have also let me regain confidence in myself. My anxiety and self inner critic is vanished. He is powerful, passionate, professional, and a healer. I look forward to my appointments with him at Glow Natural Health Center.

Amazing experience! Very thankful. This center is very professional and very kind. I felt very well taken care of and candace* apologies for misspelling did everything to help me get well from terrible side effects from a medication. She took her time answered all of my questions and had a plan to help me that started working that day! Would recommend anyone to go here for health and wellness. I also love both acupuncturist from west seattle. Overall excellent place for health and wellness from both locations!

I had my first visit with Dr. Derek Kirkham today, first time ever receiving acupuncture. He was very approachable and friendly, seemed very knowledgably and made the whole experience very easy and stress-free. Ive booked another appointment for next week and will likely continue to go back for the foreseeable future until Im recovered from a knee injury/ Runners Knee.

Unreliable & unprofessional. I paid for a doctor visit at Glow to get a massage referral. It was extremely difficult to book as they are short staffed and constantly cancel what I do get booked. I made sure to let them know that I only see in-network therapists and that I am there just for insurance massage. I finally get a massage and they billed me for it. Turns out the doctor gave me a prescription that didn’t last a year and it expired a couple of weeks before my appointment. The office staff didn’t bother validating the referral, even though this is an insurance massage. When I asked them to please see if the doctor could extend my referral to cover the massage they told me I’d have to pay for another doctor visit. Don’t call yourself a therapeutic clinic if your staff can’t handle even the basic task of verifying service coverage . I did my part by getting a referral, choosing an in-network clinic, and requesting in-network staff. Now they want me to pay for their sloppiness. I won’t be back.

Caitlin does a wonderful job! If you’ve thought about acupuncture but haven’t tried it, she is excellent at listening to your whole health picture and putting together her acupuncture treatment to support the medications and exercises, nutrition, etc. that you’re already doing. I sleep soo well the nights after her treatments! I highly recommend this efficient clinic and kind practitioner.

Rachelle fixed my neck and back pain I’d been having for weeks. She also knew just with a needle placement that my spleen was needing support. I can’t recommend her enough

Excellent first time massage at Glow with Trevor. He was attuned and respectful in hearing why I came in for a massage. And the focused massage was not too hard and not too soft as I requested. All around - very good experience!

Becca Bull is incredible! I highly recommend her as an acupuncturist. Also, Glow makes scheduling and billing insurance so so easy and is upfront about cost! Staff members actually check with your insurance first, so you’re not caught unaware will an unexpected bill.

I felt extremely well supported. It was my first visit, and they walked through all of the expectations with my insurance, and they had already pre-checked with my insurance company to understand how things would be billed. This allowed me to be in a really great headspace to receive services, and the acupuncture I received from Derek was fantastic. He explained everything very well, took the time to really listen and understand what I needed, and clearly he is an expert in what he does and knows.

Dr. McNaughton spent more time with me than any doctor has ever spent with me. I have complex auto immune disease. I feel supported and feel like I am being heard. I feel like I have finally found a doctor who will proactively search for the root causes of my disease and support healing and prevention. A welcome relief from the box of band aid’s I’ve been given my whole life to cover symptoms.

I highly, highly recommend Glow Natural Health! My husband and I specifically saw Rachelle Chun for Fertility Acupuncture during our fertility treatment at SRM in early 2022. We were prepping for our IVF treatment 2 months before our transfer, and we saw Rachelle religiously every week for 2 months straight. When it came time to the transfer, I saw her right before and right after. 9 months later, we welcomed our sweet little miracle baby!Rachelle is absolutely amazing. Not only is she very kind, but she’s extremely patient and knew exactly what we needed during our emotional journey. IVF is not for the faint of heart, and was extremely hard, both physically & mentally, and I don’t know what I would’ve done without Rachelle!Thank you again, Rachelle, for everything! My husband and I are forever grateful that you were part of the team that made our little one possible.

What an amazing clinic! The services they offer are the perfect combination needed to support health in ways that is often difficult to find. My experiences have never been anything other than wonderful. The knowledge and expertise of the providers is vast. They listen carefully to your needs and tailor their recommendations to provide specialized care. Appointment scheduling/availability is a breeze, billing is consistent and easy. The environment is warm and inviting. I cannot say enough about this place. I highly encourage anyone to be seen here!

Love this oasis of naturopathic healing! The acupuncturists (special props to my girls Anna and Caitlin) as well as Dr. Heather (Chiro) are phenomenal and truly take the time to get in tune with what is ailing you and find the accurate points to ease the pain. Thankful for the local place of escape from the stressors of reality, even if simply for an hour of self care and wellness!

Came here today for the first time and had a great experience! Mary was awesome. Super kind and a great massage therapist. I have a lot of chronic pain so I’ve received medical massages over the years and sometimes you feel weird going into an office as a medical patient and not self pay, but I felt very comfortable here. Excited for my next appointment! Hopefully on the road to less pain.

Both my wife and I are health care providers. We both have been going to Glow for years. Its a great locally owned business with a number of providers. My personal favorite is the highly skilled Dr. Heather Bergfors, a chiropractor who keeps me sorted out rather well. My wife raves about the massages, and the acupuncture here is legit.

I started going to GLOW last Fall (2018) on the recommendation of a friend and am so grateful I did. Acupuncture, chiropractor, massage therapy, sauna. After pregnancy and carrying around a toddler for a couple years my back and shoulders were in rough shape. My sleep and daily life were suffering and yoga wasn’t helping anymore. Once I started getting treated regularly by all the amazing people at GLOW I could sleep comfortably again, practice yoga without pain, and run after said toddler again with a significantly less achy body. I also love that they have everything on file in one place so I don’t have to re-explain my issues or what I’ve done that week treatment wise. Many thanks to Dr. Heather, Ariel, and Joanna. And in particular my appreciation to Jessica at the front desk for dealing with me All.The.Time.

I absolutely adore all of the providers at Glow, both in the Madison Valley and in West Seattle. They really care about the health of their patients and the owner is always looking for ways to improve the patient experience, be it with special pricing or products specifically chosen for our health and well-being. They will always be my go-to for acu, massage & chiro care.

I have been going to Glow and seeing Lindsey for over 3 years. She is relateable and so easy to talk to. I attribute my sessions with her to the successful birth of my two healthy children. I also appreciate more than anything that she has evening hours on Monday nights, it makes being able to attend weekly sessions stress free!

I came in and I was waiting for my mom, who had already gone in ahead of me, and wanted to schedule an appointment for a body composition and chiropractic care since they were in network. The staff members came in didn’t acknowledge me, didn’t ask if I what I was waiting for, proceeded to work on other things. 30mins pass by I’m still standing there and a pregnant white woman walks in and she immediately comes out and greets her. She signs in. Done. I’m completely ignored. It’s Upsetting. She’s of Asian heritage as well and literally rolled her eyes at the sight of me just being there. My presence alone was enough to be mistreated. It’s unbelievable that Africans still have to be mistreated.Update: I went back for treatment on my moms suggestion, did find that the staff has changed. My own experience, has changed; I do believe in second chances and I was able to be treated differently by staff and the new front desk personnel is amazing.

They canceled my appointment when I was 10 minutes late, calling me to let me know as I was pulling up to park. So don’t be late and make sure you don’t have any external circumstances outside your control that could cause you to be late…like a nonfunctional garage door! I’ll have to find somewhere in walking distance to have weekly acupuncture treatments, I guess. Dr. Kirkham is more interested in taking new patients than caring for current clients. He’s packing them in like sardines and doesn’t really have time for you. You’re just a 10 minute window.

I came in tight and bound up and now I feel rejuvenated! What a great massage and I really enjoyed Anne Lockridges style from the very beginning intake assessment to the finish. Thank you! I highly recommend !

Amazing massage from Bridgette. I loved every minute of it! Can’t wait to go back. I also appreciate how clean everything was ans the extra steps to have HEPA filters for clean air during these COVID times.

Some massage therapists here smell heavily of cigarette smoke, just wanted to warn folks who might be allergic, sensitive, or grossed out. Its on their clothes and breath when they lean over you. I guess they let them smoke during their shifts. Not a great thing for a health-focused place. There are probably some therapists here who dont reek of cigarettes, but Im not sure which ones.

Glow is a great place to get a massage. It was easy to book, the office staff were friendly and professional, and Mary gave me a great massage. I’m excited to go back!
